This hotel is in very nice condition. Must have been remodeled.. The only two bummers about this hotel is the breakfast was the most subpar.. They had the main course being smoke sausage and those Mexican omelettes but nothing else..There were three warmer pans that were empty..Most Holiday Inn Express at least have gravy and those herb potatoes. Got down there around 8:30 and there weren’t any biscuits either. Waited at least ten minutes for those before the lady brought out about six more..My room was nice too but they didn’t even have the small complimentary bar of dove soap in the bathroom..I couldn’t believe it.. Now don’t get me wrong the hotel is in Donaldsonville which is in the middle of nowhere and they didn’t have many guests.. I booked the room during Mardi Gras so I can imagine that it is even slower any other time but you don’t have to be that cheap. I think the owner wants to make sure that they don’t lose not one penny which takes away from the whole experience

Property is clean for the most part, just a few things that could be better. We found a dead bug inside the room & in the bathroom. As I tried to call the front desk for more towels I learned the phone in the room barely works and was only useful when placed on speaker and held a certain way. After I called for more towels and trash bags hours passed by I left the property and spent time with family got back late that night and still no towels. No one was at the front desk when we got back so that I could ask so I had to go to my room call the front desk to ask if there is anyone at the desk only to come back down to grab what I needed because they couldn’t hear me over the phone. This is supposedly a newly build location, now although I didn’t get my towels for hours when 11 hit for check out someone was at my door tryna clean ready for me to leave.. Like I said the place is nice but the service and hospitality could definitely be better..

1. Except the elevator floors was dirty for the 2 days I stayed there.

2. The security lock was broken on the room door. I had to request for another room.

It was very disappointing that I could not get any cell signal in either of the two rooms they put me in.

I had to go outside in order to text or make a call. I have T-Mobile and it works everywhere but in the hotel building.

This was disappointing being we always try to choose Holiday Inn for our travel stays. This property definitely needs work and new management. The shower handle on our bathroom shower door was broken, the breakfast was horrible and stale and my husband and I both felt sick after eating the biscuit and sausage. When looking for hotel lobbyist she was lounging on the guest sofa and chatting with a friend and did not get up to help us find our way to the outside patio just continued to lounge. She was rude and very unprofessional. When we did go out to the patio to sit and get fresh air the patio area was dirty with cigarette buts on ground, what looked like a marijuana cigarette but and cans. The chairs were worn with no cushion and very uncomfortable to sit in. I used a side door to go out to my vehicle and the door handle broke on the inside when I pushed it and fell to the ground. It wasn't far from the front desk and made a loud sound and no one came to assist. The handle the next morning was set in the corner by the door, this could be a beautiful property if managed right. We plan to frequent the area but will choose another hotel for our next stay.

The light went out on Thursday night until early Friday morning. There was no generator and I sleep with medical equipment. There were not notices, apologies, no one to answer the phone or response to inquiries the next day. Friday evening I asked the young man working the desk did they have a card, he said no. I asked for a 800 number he did not know. I asked about the black out nothing. I asked for sheets he gave me sheets that felt like sand paper. The room was clean except behind the toilet, there was urine stains and hair. The water smelled like sewage the first night, but was better the next day. Overall o would rate the stay a 3. The staff was nice , but I’m still wondering about the blackout that was not addressed.

Everything was clean and the staff was very nice. The pool was clean and available for use. The breakfast wasn’t the best because they didn’t have like the pancakes or waffles that I’m used to but everything was very clean. They were helpful. They gave us extra towels and answered any questions we had. If I’m ever back in the area I would definitely stay there again.

When i arrived the front desk clerk was very friendly . When i arrived to the room it was clear that it was not all that clean . The coffee station had coffee all over the counter, none of the outlets by the bed works , the toilet wasn't clean, and room service didn't clean the room the next day no clean towels no tissue they did nothing so i call the front desk and she stated that the room was on the list for cleaning and i showed her where it wasn't she had to bring clean towels and toilet paper. Housekeeping is horrible 😡😡

The hotel is new and the staff is friendly. I think the most disappointing thing was the breakfast. My grandchildren always love getting up and going to breakfast in the hotels. It was only cold items cereal, yogurt, and fruit cups. NO HOT FOOD!

Room booked was not available at check in so not enough beds for everyone. Brand new construction hotel and the tv remote did not work, in room coffee maker did not work. Cleanliness was also a concern as the shower was quite dirty and multiple hairs found.

Me and my family checked in late. We wasn’t greeted at check in. Check in staff told us that breakfast ended at 11am. That morning I went down for breakfast at 0930. No one and no breakfast was available. I went back to my room to call for service. I was told breakfast had ended early due the the pandemic. The sign on the wall stated breakfast ended at 10am.

Due to Hotels.com making an error and my reservation being cancelled, I had to book directly through the hotel. Manuel was the front desk worker and he was AMAZING! Very patient, very helpful! It took over an hour to get everything straight. He kept apologizing. He was super sweet and definitely helped me to keep my cool. My only complaint about the hotel is that the double beds are not queen size like they say. They are full size beds. Other than that, it was great.

The stay was ok besides the hotel not being sounds proof and you can hear people talking in their rooms. If you have a family or kids, this is not the hotel to stay at. Because this hotel was not built in mind for customers with the possiblity of have kids and will be staying also.

The staff was polite and friendly. But the floors and counters as well as the elevator were filthy. There was no hand sanitizer in any of the dispensers. The site said it served breakfast but it was a packaged danish and nutri grain bar in a sack. I understand covid-19 but that had no nutritional value. Although they did have breakfast sandwiches that you could purchase for an additional charge. Our phone in our room didn't work the whole time and they came to fix it the morning of our check out. Still undecided if we would give them a second chance.
