It is in a very old, classic hotel with spiral staircase, high ceilings, incredible moulding, etc. The hotel is a bit dated, but it is cool. The location is convenient for El Centro.

There was no window in the first room or working air vent in the bathroom. The air conditioning unit didn't work... so it was stuffy and awful.

The door and most of the front wall are single pained glass onto a hallway. So, no real privacy and you can hear everyone that walks by.

They told me maintenance would come tomorrow to fix the A/C. When no one came, they moved me to a new room (this time with a window). Then the power went out for hours.

So, I booked another hotel and walked out. There are much better places in that neighborhood for about the same price.

Cleaning service and repairs need improvement

Had to go down myself to retrieve soap and toiletries, dirty towels twice, a bed made like a five year old once, humidity stains, etc. Overall, the receptionists were wonderful and very helpful, the same for maintenance personnel. I must say that I left the safe opened accidentally and none of the valuables or documents were touched by cleaning person.

Good location, walkable to lots of restaurants and the Recoleta cemetery. Bag storage option available. Staff were always friendly. Is ok for short term accommodation. Facilities are old and showers are questionable. In saying that, we have stayed three times. You get what you pay for.

I had a tiny room in the very back of the building. The bed was so soft I felt like I was almost on the ground, my bathroom was so small when you were in the shower the taps were touching my back and the shower curtain was touching my front and the water wasn't being contained. The toilet had a replacement seat attached that didn't fit so the lid hit your back as you perched over the toilet then closed before getting upright.Glad it was only 1 night.

Flashing light in my room, bad experience

Unfortunately, I needed a fast stay on Patios de Recoleta (from 7 pm to 6 am) to get some rest, and my experience was bad. The room is pretty ok, also the bath is good. But for my surprise when I went to sleep one windows didn't have a window curtain, and this window was exactly placed in front of to the corridor with a common lamp (which was activated by sensors, or should). But the sensors in my floor were not working - according to hotel staff, it got issue one night before my stay - and the lights were flashing on/off like a party (rave party, to be more exactly). How to sleep with this? The staff informed me that it was be fixed 1 day after I leave, what for me did work, and also they didn't have another room available because the hotel was full. Why did they not inform me before my check-in? Did they think it is possible to sleep in a room with flashing lights? Indeed, I didn't sleep, and my plan o have only rest was completely abandoned. I could not rate well (I never did it before) this hotel after this experience.

This place is a scam. The pictures and description of the room is not at all the room I receive. I call Expedia and talk to them to cancel this place as soon as I arrive and to have my money back but I didn't receive my money back.

$30 for a tiny depressing room, 1.70 mt wide, single tiny bed. Overused mattress. Poor internet inside the room, and no option to sit at a table anywhere ground floor. Terrible light. No breakfast.

The first night we turned up and they denied having a booking even though we had paid and had a paper copy of the booking. After about 45 minutes (and this was already late), with a receptionist who couldn’t speak English we were found a room by another receptionist who appeared. The room was on the third floor up a narrow twisting staircase. We were given no assistance with our luggage. We had to leave early in the morning and we were puttng our luggage in what we thought was secure storage it was suggested we put them under the staircase. When I pointed out that was not exactly secure they put them in the office which is where we found them on our return. On our return we had a delightful receptionist who spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Our room on the second floor was clean but it had no window except on to the landing very high up and a skylight window above the door which let in light all the time. The bed was fine and the sheets clean but the hand towel looked dirty and the bath towels were very grey looking. There are no facilities to even make a drink.

I booked this hotel because my flight got in at 4 a.m. and I needed a place to crash until it was acceptable to be out and about. It was exactly what I needed. The staff was accommodating to the weird check-in time and the room, while not grand by any means, had everything I needed - a bed and a bathroom. Would stay here for a similar occasion again.

La arquitectura del lugar muy linda, siendo arquitecto la admiré mucho, en general lo único que me disgustó fue el wifi que no funcionaba muy bien y siendo extranjero, se me dificultó mucho, además de que no ofrecían desayuno, pero del resto, nada qué decir, todo muy bien.

Gostei muito do hotel, a localização é perfeita. Gostei da limpeza, dos atendentes. Não tem café da manhã, mas tem uma copinha que eles nos deixaram utilizar, com cafeteira elétrica, torradeira, fogão, geladeira. Esses utensílios nos ajudaram muito para fazer um café da manhã.

Das Personal war nicht hilfsbereit und mit der Situation überfordert. Wir mussten uns um 23.30 Uhr in Buenos Aires selbst um ein Hotel Übernachtung kümmern.

Me dieron una habitación diminuta donde prácticamente solo cabía la cama de una plaza y muy fea que nada tenía que ver con la que detallaban en mi reserva, el descanso fue mínimo porque las dos personas que estaban en recepción se pasaron riendo a carcajadas se escuchaba en todo el edificio y al día siguiente una pareja se puso a discutir a las 6 de la mañana también venían de la recepción las voces.

Decepcionante! Ficamos em um quarto que não tem absolutamente nada a ver com as fotos do anuncio. O quarto era horroroso, paredes mofadas e descascadas, quando chegamos estava imundo, cabelos por toda a parte e roupas de cama sujas, o banheiro é minúsculo. As pessoas são bem educadas no atendimento mas a experiência foi decepção total, não vale a pena.

O quarto que reservei no site nao era o quarto que fiquei. Nao tinha fotos do quarto que fiquei no site. Isso eu achei um pouco mentiroso, espera encontrar algo que nao tinha.
O predio é antigo, banheiro pequeno, paredes sujas.

La recepcion excelete!!, la limpieza tendrian que cambiar las sabanas a diario y fumigar por las hormigas.
Me toco un colchon, que mas que colchon era colchoneta, muy chatito y despertaba con dolor de columna, pedi que me lo cambiaran pero nunca lo hicieron, la habitacion estuvo linda, amplia y con aire acondicionado.
Tienen una hermosa terraza, donde se puede trabajar y tomar unos mates.
Las recepcionestas muy atentas y amables.

Estava limpo mas encontramos resto de embalagens.

Banheiro extremamente pequeno, apesar de bom banho.

As janelas não fechavam as persianas.

Fuimos en temporada baja habitación 202 con balcón a la calle 2 piso.
Abo ne 2 k de más al llegar al hotel (me quedé una noche) todos se llevan esa sorpresa (no sé si es un im puesto más o una e6tafa )
Hay reseñas más sinceras en el buscador de gugle
Creo que el algoritmo de esta páginas solo te muestra reseñas positivas .

Todo muy bien en general, me sorprendio para bien el hotel, bien la relacion precio calidad, y bien los protocolos, limpieza y comodidad. Lo unico que puedo llegar a decir nomas es que la chica con la que hicimos el check in se ve que era nueva o algo asi porque no estaba muy entrenada en ciertas cosas y hablaba muy bajito y “para adentro” (y sumado al barbijo no se entendia nada), y pienso que para atender a clientes es necesario un buen manejo de la expresion y la voz, pero de todos modos siempre muy cordial!

En el check tuve qué esperar xq según ellos no había reserva x intermedio de hoteles con , la srta. De recepción me ofreció ir a otro hotel a 15 cuadras de ahí, esperé más de una hora que me asignarán una hab, no había sábanas ni toallas, menos art. De higiene, cuando reclame me dieron las sábanas y las toallas en manos, con mi esposa tuvimos que hacer la cama, y jamás nos dieron los art. De higiene, ni un jabón, por mi parte jamás volvería a un lugar así y menos recomendarlo

Cambio de habitación.

El mantenimiento gral del hotel no es como el que se muestra, pero tampoco es inhabitable.
En lo personal tenía reserva de una habitación triple y cuando llegue, por disposición de ellos me dieron una doble, sin consulta alguna, y en términos económicos no se me reconoció nada.
