When I requested a cab from my previous hotel, I thought they accepted credit cards. When I arrived at O2 I didn’t have cash. I went in to the desk and a very nice man who speaks Ingles helped me and ran out to the cab and paid him. I was very surprised and relieved. He continued to be attentive and helpful throughout my stay.

We had a very nice room with 3 twin beds. The bathroom and bedroom met our needs. Breakfast was plentiful. All of the staff who we interacted with (reception and cleaning) were friendly and helpful. Staff assisted us with currency exchange and reserving a taxi to the airport. We walked around the neighborhood; there was much trash there, and we had been warned about not displaying cellphones, cameras, and jewelry while walking around and we followed that advice. We ate rotisserie chicken, salad, and fries at a restaurant a short walk from the hotel - it was delicious!

Helpful staff, spoke English, and let me check in early after traveling for 27 hours! The room was comfortable; good bed, good air conditioning, and good bathroom with shower amenities provided. Good breakfast on site, or easy access with choices nearby. I would stay here again.

Strongly recommend!

Room recently renovated. The room still smell the paint. The bathroom is a bite tight but it’s clean. Very good location. Strongly recommend! This hotel is much better than other 3-stars hotels in Buenos Aires (for same price range)

The place is an old building but the rooms were clean. The windows don't lock and is concerning because Buenos Aires has a high crime rate. Although the windows are not easily accessible to the outside, I would feel safer if it can be locked. We came in the summer and the air conditioning is not strong. They have a ceiling fan which helped a lot. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast is good and adequate. There is a coffee shop which serves good coffee and desserts.

Upon our arrival the front desk had given away our room, and instead they put us in two rooms, but they acted quickly to fix the situation and next day we were put in a suite on the last floor. Well done! The front desk was always willing to help and was very resourceful with our city questions, very attentive and respectful. Hotel is clean, breakfast was good.

Decent hotel with a very good price

This hotel is perfect if you like being all day walking around the city, since it is really cheap and you will use your bedroom just for sleeping and leaving your stuff. If you like spending time in the hotel, I think you should not come here. The breakfast is modest, the rooms are small and we had lots of little problems (broken chair, not very comfortable bed and the wifi and WC did not work completely well.
Good points are friendly staff and safety (this is very important in a city like Buenos Aires), and the best point is the relation quality-price.

If you are not too fussy, this hotel might be good for you. It really depends on what you are looking for and what you can afford. The room was not spotless clean. The building and the room (including the bedding) were clearly out dated. However, all in all, it offered a good cost/benefit ratio, especially when considering the included breakfast.

I warmly recommend this hotel

Everything was great, from the delicious breakfast (hot milk, pastries, salami, cheese, bread, tea, coffee, jam, cocoa, yogurt, cereals) to the room facilities. We had a suite, with two spacious room, fridge, safe, and microwave. Staff was extremely kind and helpful (well, with the exception of one member, otherwise professional, but not extremely pleasant nor flexible: he did not allow us to make an urgent local phone call from the reception but sent us to our room to make the call; also, he did not allow us to stay in our room longer than the check-out time (our plane was at 9 pm). All our friends who talked to other staff members were allowed to stay longer, without any additional charge. We were asked to pay $ 50 USD for a couple of hours, which we did not agree, so here we were, wondering through the city for a few more hours.
Other than this, the staff was very kind, humorous and always helpful.
I recommend this hotel. It is close to Avenida Corrientes. Also, to the Faculty of Sciences, University of Buenos Aires. It is clean and quiet. Worth the price.

Location was not the best for security reasons but central for exploring the city. The staff was attentive and were concerned for our safety even though few spoke much English. The A/C caused an uncomfortable draught on one of the beds and should be redirected to fix the problen. Breakfasts were very good.

This is very much a budget hotel and one that does not live up to the Best Western Standard. I have stayed at some BWs in the past and have been quite impressed with the quality and price. BW Central Hotel is in dire need of a facelift and some TLC. The area is also quite seedy but close to Metro lines and many attractions. All-in-all, if you are looking for a hotel with a decent price and don't mind staying in a \"basic\" hotel for a couple days then this hotel will suffice.

The location of the hotel was quite good. Because Buenos Aires is easily accessible by cab, we did not have a problem getting to places.
There was a huge spectrum of types of customer service staff members - one member was outstanding and booked reservations for us (while providing local advice) while the others were a bit rude.

Nice simple hotel for short-term stay

Stayed as a couple, only for 1 night but I was pleased with the experience. The room was no luxurious, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly good for an Argentine hotel. The staff was very accommodating: I had 3 hours of spare time between check-out for the hotel and check-in for the apartment I was moving into and the staff guarded my luggage w/o extra charge during that time.

Good choice & reasonable rate for Buenos Aires

Our last two nights in Argentina were pleasant partly due to the well deserved 3 star rated Best Western's pleasant accommodation. Both desk clerks with whom we dealt spoke very good English (our Spanish is fair, at best) which helped us with solving little problems. They smiled and graciously assisted us. The complimentary buffet breakfast included generous amounts of various breads, scrambled eggs and meat (like lunchmeat); lesser lodgings only provided coffee and medialunas (white bread shaped like croissants) or similar. Our room was comfortable and clean and included a mini-bar. Only three small minuses: The bottom sheet on our bed was too small for the mattress. Two chairs in the breakfast room whose seat coverings were torn showed the stuffing, and we don't care for music videos while we eat breakfast; however, we asked to have the volume reduced, and it was. These were not a big deal, however.

This hotel does not conform to the usual standards I expect of the Best Western brand and I can well understand why it was on offer at a discount. Lots of little things indicated a lack of management attention to detail: put them right and it would be acceptable. In my room, the window latch was broken, so it would not close properly, letting in draughts and - more importantly - noise. The broken latch was left on view for the housemaid to see and report. What happened? - it was merely transferred to the basket of soaps, lotions etc! The taps were plumbed in the right way but the labels were wrongly attributed: this is an easy thing to correct. The bed was VERY uncomfortable, with severe sag - combined with the noise of the rowdy Argentinians in the streets nearby, who seemed determined to keep everyone else in the neighbourhood awake, this combined to give three very disturbed nights.

The first room I was given looked out onto a ventilation shaft, and was very dark, so I asked for a change. The second room was much better. The \"tea and coffee facilities in the room\" didn't seem to be there, so again I had to ask at reception. I was given a coffee machine, not the best way to make tea. Breakfast was acceptable, but not good. The orange juice was totally artificial and the scrambled aggs were watery. However, there was a variety of fresh bread, rolls and pastries.

The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.

Crash Pad in Buenos Aires

This isn't a bad hotel, its just not very good. It feels like a place that people pass through and don't really stay that long. It feels a bit grimy and un cared for.

BUT .... its not a bad location - 5 minutes walk to the Metro and 15 minutes on the Metro from the City Centre. The street is pretty worrying when you arrive after dark - but actually seems fine in the day and actually is perfectly OK. The front desk staff were really helpful and pleasant and for a couple of nights at the price it was OK - just don't expect too much (it is a Best Western so that should pre warn you as to the standards to expect).

This little place is a gem. Extremely high service standards and professionalism. Front desk staff persons speak passable English. My room was immaculate but the major selling point was an astonishing full buffet breakfast. I was on the fourth floor (\"piso\" in Spanish) and it was very quiet.

Best Western Hotel -walking distance to city.

The hotel was very good for the money and was close to the city. The breakfast, although only light was worthwhile as you could have more if you wanted.
the Internet was free and thus nearly always taken. All in all it was a good experience as the hotel staff were very helpful.

Best Western on Junin -

Good value in a fairly central location. Buenos Aires is a huge city. The Best Western is a number of blocks from Centro but there are plenty of eateries and small supermarkets around.
The Hotel is about 2km from Recoleta in one directon, 1.5 from Av 9 de Julio (9th of July) which is Centro, 3km from San Telmo and not that much further from La Boca

Best times to viist San Telmo and Boca is Sunday when the street become alive with side walk cafes and market stall.

If you dont mind walking then this Hotel is in good spot, Plenty of Taxis streeming past all the time.

There is a major supermarket 4 blocks on Junin towards Recoleta and several smaller ones on the way.

My husband and I missed our flight so we arrived at the hotel a day later, and we were automatically upgraded to a suite. The staff was very curtious and helpful. One of our luggage never made it to Buenos Aires, and a staff member at the desk called the airline for us. The hotel's location is easily accessable to most of the tourist sites by foot.
My only complaint is don't go to breakfast an hour before it is over, and that means getting to breakfast earlier solves that problem. We would stay there again on our next visit. Thanks

My daughter and I had a very good experience at the Best Western. It was a good location, 3 bocks from the subway. The staff were helpful with excursions and answered our many questions with great patience. The breakfast buffet was very filling though every day was the same food selection. The room was very basic, the beds not terribly soft, though the room was very clean. While there we had massages which were offered in the downstairs SPA area which was a delight after a long day of walking the city. I would recommend this hotel as long as you did not want high end luxury. For the price, it was perfect.

Best Western BsAs - great location, a bit run down

Other than check-in (noted above), service was decent. Advice about local attractions was not accurate (e.g., we were told that reservations were not necessary for the tango show at Cafe Tortoni--and we missed it). Also, the recommended travel agent for a trip to Colonia was very difficult to find (14th floor of a building on a side strett) and over-priced. We booked online for about half the price.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable, but as others have noted, in bad need of redecorating. Given the excellent location and cost, this is still a very good value for the price.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we really enjoyed the experience. It was very conveniently situated for us and the things we wanted to do. We could walk to a lot of the places we wanted to go. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good and there were many places where we could eat at night nearby.

the Good - the complimentary FREE breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs & sausage, lots of great pastries. Many types of breads. Fruit salad, Orange Juice. great free bfast. Worth waking up to.

Only 2 blocks away from a convienient subway stop Pastuer or Gallao. U can get to anywhere in Buenos Aires from there.

FREE highspeed WiFi internet and the front counter lent me an adapter for the plug for free.

the front counter employees were friendly and very willing to help. Good place for the price :)

the Bad - the bathtub leaked just a little bit on the floor, even when we took a quick shower.

Small rooms, small elevator, everything is tiny haha

a bit noisy near the elevator with people coming and going. But reasonable.

the Ugly - the surrounding neighborhood is a wholesale garment disctrict. kinda like NYC wholesale district. More small wholesalers than restaurants and regular stores. At nights just about everything is closed around there. Just becareful and be aware of your surroundings.

Overall we liked this place for the price. Really liked the employees friendly service, the FREE breakfast was GOOD and the FREE very fast speed Wifi.

The hotel was old, but reasonably maintained. The shower had a good temperature, although the shower head is low if you’re a tall person and the shower curtain was plastic (I prefer a glass curtain). The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room had a nice size. The airconditioning wasn’t powerful enough for the size of the room, the room didn’t become cold, even with the air condicione e on in full power. All in all, it was a good price for what’s offered, it’s very close to avenida Corrientes and walking distance to Pizzeria Guerin.

Una estafa

Las fotos de los cuartos son una mentira, los cuartos no son como se muestran en las fotos. Me cobraron de más me dijeron que era un impuesto de 21% pero al ver el detalle de los pagados el impuesto salía 0.00 y todo el resto era el servicio del hotel. Muebles en mal estado, sabanas y almortas viejas y en mal estado.

Local bem localizado com fácil acesso ao metrô, cafés e restaurantes, atendimento excelente, funcionários muito solícitos, local simples porém supera as expectativas em comodidade e localização.

En general no estuvo mal, pero habían detalles que deberían corregir, la atención es muy fría de varios empleados. Las toallas no estaban limpias del todo. En general el hotel tiene muchas cosas viejas y no funcionan del todo bien, como el televisor.

Funcionários atenciosos. O ar condicionado Hitachi não funciona. O ventilador de teto Martin & Martin estava precário. O controle da TV não funcionava. A roupa de cama estava limpa e arrumada. O chuveiro funcionava bem. O café da manhã estava razoável. O hotel não oferece estacionamento. A localização do hotel é boa.
