Mucho ruido de transporte en los primeros pisos que dan a la calle y el personal de limpieza hace mucho ruido mientras limpian habitaciones de al lado desde horas muy tempranas en mañana . Recomendado para pocos días y en pisos altos que no den a la calle. El personal del front desk son muy amables y profesionales.

Central to small shops and the larger commercial areas of Recoleta Located on a smaller street which never, even at night, felt dangerous. 1 block over was the major throughfare of Callao. 3 blocks to Callaco Line D Subte stop and the Holocaust Museum (open only on Sunday) . Beautiful park 1 block south. Friends cautioned us against cutting through the park late at night. The women at the front desk were always helpful. We stayed in Apart 1002 which was identical to the pictures shown on Hotels.com page. We had a balcony which was pleasant but as we were there in Jan (Argentina's summer) the sun can be intense especially with that full wall of glass and sliding door. The view from the apart isn't anything special because the upper floors of the surrounding building are a mixed lot. The AC worked well as did the ceiling fan and the insulated curtains were excellent at keeping the heat at bay.. You'll find a card slot near the door to insert your door card. That enables the electric. That means when you leave and take your door card, the electric shuts off meaning when you first enter the apartment it will be a hot/stuffy until the AC catches up. Of course you can step out on the balcony and catch the ever present breeze while awaiting the AC. Ultimately, It always comes down to would I stay here again. Yes, absolutely.

Overall a very comfortable stay and the staff there were always attentive. The location is central in Recoleta, an upscale neighborhood with lots of shopping and a variety of different restaurants. My one problem was that the wifi was terrible and I needed it for personal business.

The hotel was good and the room was comfortable. My main issue was related to the breakfast. I booked the hotel with breakfast and when I arrived, I was informed that it starts at 8:30 am. This was too late for me, since I needed to leave the hotel every morning at 7:30. They offered me vouchers for a cafe, that would only open at 8am. However, I just found that on the morning. I tried to complain with the front desk, but the person responsible was never there. At the end, I had to pay for breakfast out of my pocket and now I am trying to have a reimbursement of the amount that I payed to include it on my reservation.

We stayed here for 3 nights in March, beds are good and wifi works fine. Location is excellent and close to all activities. Breakfast was simple but good, service was great. Only complaint was that they give you only one key and hot water uses a boiler so you need to wait at least 40 minutes for a short shower of 8 minutes tops, was kinda annoying.

This hotel was very close to where we needed to be. It is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly.
The kitchen was not as well equipped as we expected. There was only a microwave, a mini fridge and an electric kettle, no coffee maker or toaster, and no way to cook.

Overall, the hotel is OK. Continental breakfast is extra cost, not free. Wi-fi is spotty (we were on the 7th floor). Staff is nice and helpful. I think next time we'll spend a little bit more to get what we didn't get at this hotel.

The aparthotel is large and conveniently located (in Recoleta), but the staff was not the best at all. They do not speak English. Nevertheless, the aparthotel is low-priced (for what you get), so I would recommend it.

Even though the room was borderline Ok, in a good location and relatively safe, there were many issues: not the most clean with mold in the shower (See pics), the place did not have a pool or fitness facility, breakfast was not on site so you could not have breakfast in your room, no coffee maker in the room, staff wasn't the friendliest (especially Gabriela in the front desk), cleaning staff were noisy and one day my room wasn't made up, the apart hotel has a surprise 21% tax added to what you played if you are a citizen of Argentina (small print in Expedia website, NOT happy about that), if you leave your room to go for breakfast on check out date your key is deactivated and it's complicated to go back to get your stuff. Don't waste your time here, there are way better alternatives out there......

Overall this hotel is an excellent choice, when you visit CABA. Staff is accommodating and helpful. It lags somewhat in daily housekeeping. Under Room Amenities, the \"daily housekeeping\" however does not include changing of pillows coverts, and bed sheets. WIFI is acceptable.

Good place. Only thing I would add is, it was Christmas when we were there so though we had paid for breakfast, the cafe was closed and that is fine, but what the hotel gave us was quire pathetic. Does not take much to offer a 1/2 way decent breakfast. May be some yogurt, some real coffee, may be cereal and milk or even cereal bars and long life milk? They gave a wrapped chocolate donut and real bad coffee.

This was the third time that I stay in the San Diego apart hotel, I love the ubication most of all, you don't need to get a taxi to shopping or to eat, you have all that around. The personal in the hotel is very nice, super helpful, especially Gabriela, the recepcionist. The room is spacius and comfortable. The only thing that I don't like is the check in and check out time. Check in just at 2 pm (late) and the check out 10 am (early), but besides that Ibsuper recommed it.

It fair hotel, the room is large with a kitchenette with microwave and placesettings, just far from the Subway and where to get on the Turistic bus. Had to take a cab. The room was surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy street and in the metro area. There is very little support from the staff, they tried to be very helpful nonetheless. The operation is ran differently than most hotels, everything is referred to \"administration\" and during the night, it seems like they hire a firm to cover the night shift that have limited information if needed but otherwise very pleasant. English is limited but doable.They refused to change the misinformation on my receipt until I insisted. It stated that I was from Brazil instead of USA...finally they changed it. Also you have to wait for them to check the room before you are allowed to leave, they do an inspection-never had to go through this before ever in any other part of the world. But it was fine with us, just strange.

My husband and I stayed here for a week! The rooms look exactly like in the pictures, it is conveniently located close to restaurants, shops, beauty salons, etc, can easly take a taxi, train or bus from here or you can walk around as their is a lot to do withing walking distance!
We were not impressed with their breakfast but hey you pay for what you get, you get vouchers to a coffee shop around the corner for croissants (medias lunas) and coffee, we would have the coffee and take the croissants and give it to the homeless, you wont see them IN Recoleta, but if you are goong as a tourist like us and are planning on going to all the \"must\" see places you will see them around, the smiles on their faces was well worth carrying the bag around.
you can buy tickets to all the tango shows and city tours from the recption, wifi signal worked pretty well. The one thing I did not like was our balcony view, it was facing very old looking building nothing fancy at all.

We recommend \"Señor tango\" show with dinner included, Siga la vaca for an all you can eat steak house, la cabrera for a more \"fancier dinner\", la parolaccia for delish pastas, and \"choripanes\" (choris) from the rolling cart at caminito!

Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great location. Skip the breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location and in easy walking distance of all the main attractions in Recoleta. Breakfast consisted of a voucher for a local cafe for a coffee and crossont. A bit tedious after 7 days. However, with a fully equipped kitchen in the apartment we made our own provisions. A well positioned hotel to the main thoroughfare, with pleasant and obliging staff. Would most definitely recommend.

Cheap hotel at Recoleta

This is a hotel located in a nice area but very crowded with traffic of autos, buses and people. The main issue was the loud, non stop noise from the brakes and diesel engine from the buses that stop and go right in front of the hotel. Since our room was facing the street and 3rd floor we almost didn't sleep for three nights. The noise would briefly reduce between 2 00am and 5 00am.

The location is perfect for sightseeing.

Check-in is at 3pm and we arrived at the hotel about 11:00 am. They offered to store our luggage at no cost.
The location is perfect to tiur Buenos Aires. It's a 15 minute walk to Florida Street, the Obelisk and the Recoleta Cemetery which is a must see site.
There are restaurants in front of the hotel and cafes, convenience stores and other eating places are within 2 blocks.
The room is exactly as pictured and very clean. Buenos Aires is an aging city which makes it difficult to rate. So taking that into consideration, I think the 4 star rating is applicable

Gabriella at the front desk was professional and speaks English very clearly and was very patient with my high school Spanish.
She helped to set up tours and gave good clear directions.

I used the shuttle to get from the airport. Purchase tickets as you leave customs. It was $34 US for 2 people. The bus takes you to a central terminal where you are connected to a ride sharing service which is included in the price

The hotel also offers late check out for a small fee.

Nice hotel in great location

This is a nice hotel in the middle of Recoleta. The hotel is well maintained and there is a guard at the front desk 24/7 which made us feel safe. The hotel is in a very populated area and there were people and cars all night, but it wasn't loud or intrusive. There are great restaurants and shopping nearby, along with some grocery stores and ATMs. The actual room is clean and comfortable with a great bed, a nice bathroom and a small kitchen. One negative is that the kitchen doesn't have a stove, only a microwave. The wifi was very poor when we visited so that was unfortunate. There are many different networks but my phone kept connecting and disconnecting and barely held a connection to send a text. This didn't improve at all during our stay. Also the breakfast, which is a few blocks away, is very average. You get a tea or coffee, OJ and three croissants. It's nice for a snack but I though that it would be much bigger. That was a big disappointment.

Nice Hotel in barrio La Recoleta.

Been there 4 nights over the weekend. Travelled with the missus and the youngest son in order to attend a Sabbath gig down there. Very far from the venue but a cool and traditional neighbourhood called la Recoleta, not so far from the capital downtown. You've got the Santa Fé avenue down the corner, walking a couple of blocks there's the Callao avenue where you can catch the underground train, cheap and dependable transportation. Lots of meat restaurants, wineries, libraries and ladies clothing stores.

Great central hotel in the heart of Recoleta

Have stayed here a couple of times now. Good rooms with kitchenette and comfy (if a bit soft) beds. Super clean and quiet yet central to everything. You cannot go wrong staying here for just $70 odd.

What breakfast!!

Breakfast consist of 3 sweet rolls 3cm by 10 cm each roll and 50 ml of orange juice. You get briefcase vouchers for the duration of your stay and it's the same everyday. You also have to walk about 100 m or so down the road to get your breakfast so after the first day, we tossed the breakfast vouchers and made our own breakfast For dinner there are a multitude of restaurants across the road from the hotel. They get busy from 11pm. Grills or Parilla in Spanish are the go here so be prepared to like meat.

Staff was nice and the aparment was spacious. The main problem was that the sheets had a large stain (looked like old blood). We told the staff and they changed the sheets although somewhat reluctantly.

Very good staff and clean comfortable room with ikea like furniture and decent balcony. Very good value for the price with breakfast included at a local restaurant. Good food and drink right across the street in front of the hotel. Great neighborhood convenient to transportation and other needs. Kitchen is limited but allows for small meals in the hotel or with delivery food, which is readily available in many varieties, one can set a nice table in your room.

Comfortable apartment in a nice area of Buenos Air

The apartment is roomy, clean with very comfortable bedding. The location is in a nice part of Buenos Aires, about 15mins walk to the city centre. There are restaurants, shops and local bus stops just outside the apartment building.
The staff are friendly and helpful but some don't speak English very well.
I was looking forward to be able to cook in the apartment but the kitchen only has a microwave, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, good experience but would be even better if I can cook and get info from staff about how to get around the sights on local transports. I'd would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the space and room layout

After our fuse box blew we were moved to another room which was, unfortunately, a little smaller (but had a balcony with chairs). Hanging robe and drawers made it nice for a longer stay.

The staff were very amenable in all aspects. Eduardo, who works nights, was especially amiable and made a great effort to communicate with us in spite of our limited Spanish.

Positioned on the corner of Av. Santa Fe meant many choices of bus line were on our doorstep. We would certainly stay there again - and recommend it to our friends.

The location is great: one of the best in Buenos Aires. The breakfast is just fine, with cafe con leche and media lunas...
You need to buy your own soap since the hotel provides it only once!
The room is pretty big and the bed is very good and bigger than other hotels.
Check out is at 10 am which is very inconvenient; (many hotels has a 12 noon check out!)
I would stay there again (but would look for another hotel with a later check out time).

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. The rooms are big, very clean and in good condition. The location is perfect and you can walk to the main attractions in Buenos Aires. There are lots of restaurants and cafes around and a small supermarket is opposite the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful but did not speak English. I can absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Good value accommodation in Recoleta

We enjoyed our stay in Apart San Diego in Recoleta. The room was comfortable and it was great to have the kitchen facilities. It is in a great location and a good base for exploring Buenos Aires.

The hotel needs maintenance.The aircon ia not barely working- average of 3 hours sleep for 3 consecutive nights.
Clogged toilet. Internet is not stable. No tourist map. The reception at night cannot speak english. The lady made mistake calculating the tax that I have to pay, I was asked to pay 2 days more than it should.Good location, nice staff. Staff willing to help despite communication .barrier.

Quarto muito amplo, banheiro confortável. A localização é ótima tbm, perto da Calle principal, de mercados, padarias.
Como estávamos no ultimo andar, o wifi nao funcionava de jeito nenhum. Esse seria a única reclamação a pontuar (a tv poderia ser smart, facilitando o acesso a canais internacionais, mas é um mero detalhe). Do mais, nada a acrescentar. Minha segunda vez em buenos aires, e minha segunda ida ao hotel. Vale o custo beneficio.
