No what it seems like in photos

Hotel didn’t seem to be priced properly. It’s a 1 star, 2 start max hotel at his best. The walls of the building need to be repainted a and furniture is old, poor maintained, the photos of the property oversell how the rooms really look like

Mike at the front desk recommended 3 tours that we enjoyed very much.

Nice older hotel. Breakfast was not good (coffee does not taste good, scrambled eggs are runny/watery, no bacon). Pool was dirty and small. Liked the older wood trim. Older gentleman at the desk was helpful and also spoke English and Portuguese (other staff did not)

A nice place to stay

Good location for walking to Puerto Madero, Plaza de Mayo etc and the Galleries Pacifico. Busses run past the hotel if you're not into exploring by foot. Reasonably friendly (male) reception staff; free map offered at check-in. No city brochures in sight so do your own research on what to see and do. Large lobby with free water and biscuits. It's an older style building but more than adequate for the price. Good sized room with a good sized bathroom - shower over the bath. The bathroom definitely needed some refurbishment. Good, heavy curtains to keep the room dark; the aircon was good (and needed after a day in the sun). Buffet breakfast was terrific - fruit, pastries, toast, hams, salamis etc.

Convenient and Close to City Center

The Cyan Americas Tower Hotel is conveniently located just a block from the widest street in the world, 9 de Julio Avenue. It is only 8 blocks from the famous Obelisk and Plaza de la República as well as a short walk to many other sites, in addition to three subway lines nearby.

The complimentary breakfast selection was great and the staff was helpful. Even though we were on Floor One (second floor) with the window facing the street, it was generally quiet.

Overall a poor experience, stay elsewhere

Most of staff looked like they didn't care about the guests and like they hated working there. At check-in the person at the desk didn't even bother speaking to us apart from saying keywords like \"passport\" and \"room key\", he didn't even look at us, and he asked us to walk back and close the entrance door which we accidentally left open after entering loaded with three pieces of luggage each.
The mattress and pillow were way too soft and destroy your sleep. Especially the bed's headboard that was shaking and hitting the wall every time you moved on the bed, thus making constant noise. The card reader of the room door did not work since the first moment we checked in and instead of being moved to a different room directly, they said they would send someone to fix it. Obviously they didn't fix it and they only offered to move us to a different room on our last day. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work either. Sometimes in the middle of the night there was loud noise from the external units of air cons from other rooms.
The only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast that offered a decent amount of choice (compared to other places in Argentina where you only get toast and jam pretty much). But they managed to destroy this too by washing up the dishes by hand right behind the breakfast bar, making a constant loud noise the entire time you're having your breakfast.
The location walkable from both Recoleta and Plaza de Mayo.

Good hotel, clean, effective, and a good hotel for the price in an area that has easy/central access to a number of very nice areas of the city to visit. Didn't quite feel like a 5 star hotel but you will certainly have a nice stay here.

Front desk/reception personnel outstanding, room smelled like cigarettes, not enough amenities, WIFi was not good, lost signal many times in my room and by the bar no sjgnal, no iron so if you have a meeting early morning you arrived late at night laundr service will not have it ready for you next morning.

Stayed 4 nights before Patagonia - had decent room,very friendly desk good breakfast & good maid. Decided to book 4 nights on return. However on return were given poor room - reception friendly. Next door bathroom felt as if it was in our room.Bathroom vv tiny. But maid service vv poor. She even rushed to ask us if she must clean room. After our breakfast on return room hurriedly cleaned & towels removed. Had to ask every day for basics - towels, toilet paper etc. Only 2 towels given daily, no floor towel - did not bother Reception but bell boy helped us a lot . However on last day were shocked when we saw towels were just hanging pieces of threads. I did take a photo of this. Perhaps we did not leave enough tips!?
However - as the first stay was good, breakfast decent, room clean and quiet and the front desk v helpful - I can just assume that we were given a cheaper room second time. Although quoted superior.
My first impression was that it is a good hotel in very handy situation. Desk helped a lot re transport etc.
I did not want to sound pretty complaining re towels etc - but perhaps I should have brought matter to House keeping attention.
First stay Room 607 - 2nd - 310.

Food and service were excellent. Staff were courteous and helpful. Access to room was awkward. Had to go down a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Room was comfortable. Cleaning in hall way was needed. Overall experience - very good.

This hotel has two section, and my room is located on the ground floor of 2-stories building not 8-stories one. The 1st day when I stayed, someone tried to open my window... I recommend when booking this hotel, don't choose high discounted price.

Location of this hotel is excellent. Even though taxis are plentiful and cheap, it is nice to have a selection of activities and restaurants at a walking distance. This location has it all.

Older hotel, stayed here 10 years ago. Close to everything which is why I picked it again. Helpful staff, the doorman was a joy. Spa bath was awesome. Bed was comfy and pillows great.

After 2 weeks in Argentina this hotel was the best. We expected the rooms to look better. The plug in the bath did not fit. But at least we could sleep comfortable after camping for 2 weeks. Thanks for the discounted rate!! We were looking forward to a nice cup of coffee in the room, but did not get anything. This will anyway be the place for our next stay.

The staff is so helpful and speak English, It was close to the port.
The day of our departure, our flight only left 9pm so we had the day to explore and could keep our luggage at a secure place provided by the hotel.
Very nice bell man, he helped me get the boarding passes, since I don't speak Spanish.
I very much recommend this Hotel, besides it was very reasonable.

Convenient hotel with helpful staff especially the front desk and the bar staff. I left my cruise ship at 8 am and arrived at the hotel at 9, check in time is 2 pm . I was hoping for storage but the front desk had a room available immediately - this was bliss after a hot taxi ride. likewise on leaving check out time was 12 but my taxi was at 1pm and the front desk took the trouble to ring me and say I could have the room till the taxi arrived. Excellent service.

Avoid if you enjoy comfort and good customer serv.

Please believe me when I say to steer clear of this hotel. I rarely write reviews but felt I needed to after this stay. I've never been treated so poorly by a front desk staff as this one. Not only was I charged $200 USD for a small bag of laundry - I was laughed at when I asked them how that was possible by Miguel the front desk clerk. I have written the hotel management several times about the charge and the way I was treated and have heard nothing back. I can only assume they do not care about their customers or Miguel is deleting them before anyone sees them. The overpriced food is atrocious and the comformt of the room is non existent. The best thing about this place is the location. I wish I could go back in time and decided to sleep on the streets before booking here. Avoid.

Great location

Clean comfortable hotel in a great location. Youre only about 30 steps away from Santa Fe.

Shopping, cafes, restaurants, laundry service all within a 10-15 min walk away.

Breakfast served in the basement dining room was good. Good assortment of things to chose from. I loved the fresh fruit salad and the medialunas.

Staff were friendly and most spoke English.

A good experience

Good hotel situated in one of the best neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. Staff very efficient and polite. Our room was sufficiently spacious, had a good bathroom and comfortable beds , a good TV set and free internet connection. Not so noisy (not so common in Buenos Aires). The breakfast was varied . In summary , a very good experience.

Great location, very safe for late night ventures. Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Free bkfast, that was the usual Argentinean continental, with mediocre coffee. Wifi was spotty, but when it worked was fast. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet (except my snoring friend). Bathroom/shower were clean and comfortable to use. Overall very satisfied. Booked this hotel on two occasions that visited Buenos Aires.

Hotel is near Santa Fe where many small shops and cafes are located. The reception staff were all very knowledgeable and spoke good English. The 2 receptionists both named Martin were helpful and friendly. Local tour to go to the river delta area arranged by Martin was very good.

The G/F cafe was quiet and comfortable. It would be better if there was an electrical kettle to be provided in the room.

Free WIFI very efficient. The air-con was effective.

Very kind consideration to allow us to check in earlier as we arrived before noon. Also, while we went for shopping after checking out, our luggages could be conviently stored by the conciege for collection in the evening before we left for the airport. The car arranged by Martin was good and clean costing 192 pesos. Thanks Marin.

America's Towers - Close To Santa Fe Ave Shopping

The hotel was not as expected.
We were shown 2 rooms and given our choice which was a nice feature. One of the beds had a bedspread that was soiled on the underside. The towels in the bath - were supposed to be white - were dingy.
The hotel was in the middle of the block on a major street that was more like a side street where the hotel was located. The lobby area was nice.
The breakfast was skimpy.
The staff was very nice, warned about dangers in the city.
The staff helped us with our flight check-in and held our luggage so we could spend the day in the city until our flight time.
I would have expected a better room for the price.
We were less than a half block from Santa Fe Ave. - lots of shops.
Buenos Aires is a great city to visit and shop. Hard to get taxis in some areas and at rush hour. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Florida street is a must. Galleria Pacifica shopping mall is fantastic. Take a day trip to Uruguay with Buequebus.
Did not use buses or subway.

Ok I will not say they have the best pool and exercise equipment. I will say that the hotel is wonderfully located. The staff was great. The room was fine. Free WiFi everywhere was very nice and they even had 2 computers in the lobby. The breakfast buffet should get you on your way with no hunger pains. A nice variety of foods, cereals, eggs, yogurts, rolls, juices and great coffee.
Another word about the staff. They were friendly, helpful, patient, and wanting to please. No one could expect more than that.
I would and will recommend this hotel and would book it again if I am lucky enough to go to Buenos Aires again.

After spending several weeks in South America, the Americas Towers hotel was a wonderful place to stay for a great price. The staff was helpful, they all spoke English, the pool was relaxing and the rooms were very comfy. The safe fits a notebook which was an added bonus.

Americas Towers Hotel was well located for walking to the main areas of Buenhos Aires such as Recoleta, Plaza de Mayo, Palermo, and San Telmo. The hotel rooms and facilities were spotless. The staff were always available to assist, and spoke good english. We would stay there again.

Great location in Recoleta

When I checked in they actually let me choose between two rooms and let me view both rooms before deciding. The location of the hotel is great and the staff is very helpful. They spoke English and weren't pushy on any front. I would definitely recommend this hotel to both leisure or business travelers.

The hotel is great, clean, centrally located and they have a great breakfast. My only complaint would be that since it is on Libertad close to the corner of Santa Fe the noise in the early morning of cars and buses erked me. None the less the hotel is well maintained, clean, free internet, wifi, confortable, great breakfast and a friendly staff.

We stayed 3 nights over New Year and, even if the hotel was full' we received fabulous treatment from everyone. The hotel is located withing walking distance from shopping, major attractions,and cafes. We even enjoyed an afternoon at the pool after various tours. For the price, this hotel is a winner!

this was 2nd time I stayed in Americas Towers when on business in Buenos Aires. the location is traffic wise really convenient , close to the Avenida 9 de Julio and convenient also for taxis or business partners picking you up or bringing back to hotel. it is close walking distance from Santa Fe, famous shopping street. Safe neighborhood, you can walk for dinner in one of the restaurants in Posadas. Hotel personnel is good, competent and friendly. Breakfast in the windowless breakfast room is fine. Wireless internet works well in the rooms and the bed is comfortable

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before the allowed check in time but they let us check in early which was great coming off a 12 hr flight! They provided us with maps and directions every time we asked. I was pleasantly surprised how large our room was. I was expecting European standard size rooms but this is not the case. Everything was clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be a few blocks from the hotel is a park with several homeless people. They never bothered us but may have if they had the opportunity. You have to walk past this park to get to the main road. Everything else was great!

El gran plus del hotel es la ubicación, es muy céntrica y segura para llegar en la noche.
Las instalaciones en cambio son un poco viejas, pero no están mal, están muy limpias y cuidadas. El desayuno muy básico pero bien. En general está bien! Yo me hospedé con mi familia durante 5 noches y cada día nos gustaba más el hotel por la ubicación

Hotel antiguo y mal conservado, deben hacer una remodelación si quieren que la gente vuelva.
Habitaciones ruidosas y le sobra 1 ó 2 estrellas.
Personal gace lo que puede porque las instalaciones están obsoletas.
Como en muchos hiteles que se muestran en expidia con ventajas VIP, estas nunca sirven de nada, ni upgrades, ni ningún detalle de bienvenida ni similares.
Está bien situado en zona segura pero las instalacionrs dejan mucho que desear.
