I do not recommend this hotel at all! Beware, as of January, 2026, there were bedbugs in our room.

The hotel looks like its trying. The rooms and facilities are worn out, but things appear to be clean. They clearly have a bedbug issue as we were eviscerated by them in just one night. It was awful.

Horrible stay

This hotel is outdated. Everything needs renovation. Sheets are old and dirty. Furniture, bathroom, cabinets, windows, etc. are all old, and need repairs. Window was not looking. Room was ice cold even with heather on. Warm water would come after 20 minutes. I booked this as it was located right next where my conference is, turned out to be a big mistake. Will never ever stay here anymore.

Good place to stay in Buenos Aires.

I have stayed in this hotel several times before the pandemia and now with the value of the dollar.
I found that many of the amenities have been reduced and some of the equipment not properly work. There is no telephone in the room. I have to go 5 times to get the entrance key to my room to open the door. The microwave did not worked. It was replaced it and it also did not worked. There were other inconveniences. I have to ask for more toilet paper. I have to say that the sheets and blankets were immaculate clean and the bed was nice and firm. Very clean. The front desk and the cleaning ladies were very nice and friendly Even with these and other small inconveniences I still recommend this hotel. The location is super convenience near the obelisk.

This is not even a one star hotel. Everything is falling apart, majority of the furniture need to be trashed, it’s a total eye sore, toilet seat all over the place and rusted bath tub. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone let alone pets.

The hotel is conveniently located near many tourist locations. But all you get is a room for sleeping and taking showers. If that's all you need the hotel for, then you'll be fine. The housekeeping was not consistent but the staff were friendly and would remedy the situation right away.

They had a poor internet connection and the shower had only COLD water, and it was winter. The cleaning wasn't good either. The food at the restaurant was awful, the dishes they used weren't clean. The only good thing is the location. I am really dissapointed.

Great small hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires

Nice small hotel, within walking distance to two of most popular streets in Buenos Aires,-Ave Corrientes & Ave 9 de Julio,- Lots of public transportation (buses), right by hotel, 5 min walking distance to Subway. A great plus it's price of room. hotel staff was very friendly.

Centrally located off the main avenues that run through BA. About 15mins to the central government square and walkable to most of BA's attractions. Lift to each floor. Staff friendly and spoke a small bit of English. WIFI was slow in our room but worked fine in the reception area.

The staff spoke english and were helpful organizing a tango show. They forgot our wake up call. It is quite a walk to Florida street. Close to theaters. The carpet in the room is original and has never been cleaned. Has a fridge (with broken door and never been defrosted). Microwave. Trying to be a bit upmarke but forgot the cleaning part. Noisy street noise.

A good BUDGET hotel

Reasonably priced budget hotel. The cleaning staff need a proper vacuum cleaner to vacuum the floors. Breakfast was very minimal. Staff at the front desk were very helpful. WIFI was great when it worked...it was sometimes intermittent. Remember you are not staying at a First Class hotel so do not expect first class accommodations. Overall, for the price that we paid, it was a good hotel.

Great well managed hotel in Buenos Aires

This is the third year in a row that I stayed at this hotel. The location is great for a budget traveler. It is near public transportation. Bus #29 stop is 1/2 block away. The fare is about a quarter at today's exchange rate. You are able to take this bus to go to soccer games for Boca or River Plate, San Telmo or El Caminito, Casa Rosada,Florida Street etc. The rooms are super clean with gold plated fixtures. The only complaint Television has only local channels and TVs in some rooms are not LCD or Plasma. I was in room 706 with plasma TV and excellent Wifi connection.Management and staff incredibly helpful and friendly. I will definitely will return to this well managed hotel soon.

Wonderful location - within walking distance from the major locations (5 mins from the Colon Theatre / 5 mins from the nearest metro stations). Supermarket that opens till 10pm is just around the corner.

Staff are extremely helpful. You may need a google translator for the night staff as they don't speak very well English. But they really made the effort walking me through how to get to the ferry station, how and where to stay safe in BA, and a good discussion on the cultures.

Room is very good for its price - a little bit dated but definitely sufficient for a comfortable and cosy stay.

Very nice surprise

Very good and more for the price paid via Expedia (less than US$ 50). The room was large and nice, the bathroom was also big and thought for two persons (two sinks). Everything was in good order, and the room even had a microwave and a small fridge. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitively stay there again.

Comfortable hotel in good location near centre

The only reason we have not rated this as 5 throughout is that the air-con in our room was not effective enough. To be fair, all the locals were complaining about the exceptional heat and humidity, so maybe the unit just couldn't cope with the unusual conditions.

Right in between everything

This hotel was able to lodge all four of us comfortably and at a great price! The staff was VERY friendly and helped us make reservations for a wonderful steak restaurant in the area and called a cab for us to get there. The street is off the main avenue, but we felt perfectly safe. It was in between each of the areas we wanted to visit and offered a short walk to where we wanted to go each day. I highly recommend this hotel for adventurous travelers on a budget.

The hotel is close to many attraction places. It{s walking distance to a couple different streets where you can go shopping or to theaters, for example. The room was really nice. I was surprised with it{s size and it was always clean. Brekfast was good too.
We enjoied our stay there and will recomend it.

No complaints about the room or the hotel. Clean in general but I thought some of the towels could have been cleaner. Not exactly a plush luxury hotel but it is OK. I would suggest that tourists try the other districts and not the downtown, while those on business probably would find this location convenient.

It´s a nice hotel, very friendly employees, the rooms ar really big, bathroom with double sinks quite confortable, and a deliciuous breakfast buffet.
Location is centrical though you have to walk about 4-5 blocks to get to Corrientes Ave. where most nightlife is, theaters and restaurants, and about 10 blocks to micro-center wher you can find all kinds of shops and restaurants in a small zone. To return walking by night is a bit dark zone.

the hotel staff was helpful. in regards to the location - it depends on where you want to be near but i thought it was close enough to everything. but at nighttime, it did not seem to be too safe as there were homeless people outside. about a 10 minute walk to florida street, walkable distance to the retiro bus station. kinda old rooms but okay if just spending the night there

Lovely hotel

Centrally located (close to the obelisk and quite a few subte lines) and very friendly, we loved our stay at this hotel. Rooms were big and clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was decent although the same every day (but the *fresh* fruit salad was a real treat - something very rare in Argentina). Out of 3 hotels we've been to in BA (all 3-4 stars), this is the one we would probably recommend.
Our only complain was about the elevators, because one was going through service repairs. This put some pressure on the second elevator and made the waiting time longer.

Our room was on a third floor, but despite that it was a quiet room, clean (not easy to find in Argentina), and well mantained (by Argentinian standards). The hotel is reasonably close to the pedestrian malls (15/20 minutes walk to Avenida Florida). Overall a nice hotel at a reasonable price.

O hotel é antigo mas parece que estão em constante manutenção para manter as coisas em ordem, limpeza estava ok, o ar funcionava, banheiro com cortina mas tb é algo cultural. A equipe da recepção atenciosa, Chegamos era mais de 11 da noite e o recepcionista nos atendeu com maior atenção. Para quem está acostumado com o café de Argentina que normalmente é racionado esse tinha café , leite e pão a vontade, tinha tb iorgut e cereal. Localização ótima! Voltaria com certeza.

O hotel tem uma localização excelente! Conheci os principais pontos turísticos caminhando. Quem tiver disposição para caminhar pode ir até pontos turísticos caminhando para apreciar a cidade e retornar de veículos de aplicativo (atendem muito bem) ou transporte público. A equipe do hotel é bastante cuidadosa e solícita, o atendimento está de parabéns!

Excelente localização mas em estado muito ruim.

Excelente localização, em 3 quadras para qualquer direção tem restaurantes, bares, comércio e pontos turísticos. Região segura e com muito a se fazer a pé, no máximo em 30 minutos de caminhada chega em quase todos os pontos turísticos.
O hotel é antigo, já passou por uma pintura vem básica onde sequer tapou os sinais de infiltração de agua.
Quando com bom tamanho porem com inconveniente de algumas tomadas não funcionam, mobília antiga , loucas de banheiro com remendo, faltando torneira em uma das pias. Ou seja precisa de reforma urgente.
Café da manhã extremamente básico, café com leite e media lunas de baixa qualidade. Suco em pó, água e pão de forma com manteiga e geléia, se enjoar no segundo dia tem sucrilhos e só.
Os funcionários são simpáticos e atenciosos. Não me parece terem culpa do estado do Hotel.

Superou as expectativas

Passeis seis dias na propriedade e não tive nenhum problema, o atendimento dos funcionários sempre foi muito gentil, café da manhã simples mais que satisfazia, a internet era funcionou todos os dias sem quedas e com qualidade maravilhosa, calefação sempre perfeita! Pertinho de tudo! Dois supermercados na outra rua, um kiosco do outro lado da rua, um diferencial dentro do quarto tinha uma chaleira elétrica que ajudou bastante para preparar algo rápido, a janela tinha vista para rua, porém muito silêncio! Simplesmente amamos, muito simples mais superou as expectativas

Horrible, carísimo para el servicio que brindan, habitación viejísima, entraba agua por las ventanas, no andaba el wifi, el personal, salvo excepción bochornoso, mas caro de lo que decía la publicación. Una estafa el costo, para otro día estaba publicado a menos de la mitad de lo que me costó.

Llegamos al hotel con una factura emitida en la app donde decía impuestos incluidos, sin embargo nos cobraron 100 dólares más, ya no daba para salir a buscar otro hotel. Los muchachos que trabajan ahí muy buenos, da la impresión de que fue un hotel lujoso, ahora solo lo mantienen como pueden, algo que ya paso a ser normal en Buenos Aires

El hotel esta en buenas condiciones, bien ubicado y la habitación es agradable, pero el servicio es muy malo, el primer día se mancho el piso con barro al salir del baño que estaba húmedo, me fui luego de 5 días y la mancha seguía ahí, durante 3 días les pedí 4 veces que arreglen el control remoto del tv, nunca lo hicieron, mi pareja pidió un secador de pelo, le dijeron que no, pero que podía pedirlo al día siguiente hasta las 17hs, ella llamo a las 19hs, pedí agua caliente para tomar unos mates tipo 6 de la tarde, tampoco me lo solucionaron, fui junto con otro huésped a un bar a buscar, una lastima.

O Mayflower é uma boa opção de hospedagem: muito próximo a importantes atrações da cidade (obelisco, av Corrientes, av, Córdoba, Teatro Solón, Congresso, Casa Rosada, etc). O apartamento é suficientemente espaçoso, com aquelas principais necessidades atendidas (Wi-Fi, ar condicionado, tv, mesa e cadeiras, bancada para estudo/leitura, frigobar, etc). No check in é solicitado um depósito equivalente a US$ 50 (cinquenta dólares) que fica como caução para cobrir possíveis avarias que o hóspede possa fazer no apartamento. Esse depósito pode se feito em dólar, real, peso, etc. Feita a verificação do apartamento no chek out e tudo estando bem, o valor é devolvido integralmente. Agradou-nos ficar hospedado no Mayflower, e ficariamos novamente, se necessitar de um hotel em Buenos Aires.

Gostei de nossa estada no hotel... o atendimento foi excelente! Já é a terceira vez que nos hospedamos aqui.... apenas na primeira vez solicitamos o café da manhã; gostaria de sugerir que fosse oferecido frutas no café da manhã..
Ja indiquei esse local para vários amigos que também gostaram muito e até já retornaram outras vezes.

Pedimos cama doble y eran súper amplias. Muy cómodas las camas y MUY limpio todo!! Ascensor impecable. habitación con muy buen espacio. Pleno centro, excelente ubicación.

Lo malo: internet súper lento (no apto para trabajar) y no tienen plancha.

Las habitaciones la atención y la limpieza una maravilla con respecto a las instalaciones están un poco en decadencia , no tuve la oportunidad de utilizar el restaurant creo que necesita algunas refacciones le da mal aspecto al lugar .
