Inicialmente no dieron una habitación donde sabian que la tv no funcionaba correctamente y al realizar el reclamo, nos cambiaron de habitación.
Luego, entendiendo que el hotel es eco friendly, el bañarse es un problema, ya que no tiene para regular la temperatura, por lo que terminas bañando con agua natural y en invierno es un problema y sumado que a la disposición de los baños, en la salida de la ducha hace mucho frio, lo que multiplica la incomodidad del momento.

Only good thing about it was location. Hotel need renovation.
No iron board in room and when asked for it they directed different level to go and do it yourself. Coach in room was so old and dirty .
Never saw smile from any of staffs. Room key reader was faulty and atleast once a day they needed to reprogram it.
They charged fir 4 star hotel but service was max 3 star.

Prime area. Just that there were a few drunks sleeping on the streets.
Transportation could be delayed due to traffic.

The room had a semi-broken shower head. Causing water to spray up the shower ceiling. By the time I left, the ceiling was not in a good shape anymore.

Cleanliness of the dining area could use a real improvement during busy time.

I loved the location because it is closed to the Subte(metro), bus lines and in the heart of the theater district, great restaurant, and bookstores(many of them). The hotel was awesome!!! Did I mention the breakfast buffet?

The location and hotel overall is excellent. However the phone number registered as front desk in the rooms is incorrect and after calling w/o answer for 10 minutes we decided to get dressed and go down to the lobby for a simple question. I suggested changing the flyer that's in the room with the incorrect information and the staff told me that the number was changed long time ago but they never updated the flyers for the rooms.

Excellent area for shopping and restaurants. Many tour groups pick up from this hotel as well. Staff was very accommodating when local transportation was needed. Will set up cash/credit card taxis. All generally OK - however, there where 2 issues with this stay
1/ The lifts were very slow to respond. I was on level 2 but it took up to 3min sometimes to get the lift.

2/ though I booked through Expedia - and accepted there would be no hotel points accured, I could NOT use my ACCOR card for discounted food - which is supposed to be universal. The receptionist indicated his boss \"disallowed\" this.

The staffs are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Great lobby and wifi. Sofa too soft can be cleaner. Great location. Easy to get around. Taxi always waiting at the door. Walking distance to food and attractions. Located next to the famously main Street. That's why good location with good price. Room carpet some sofa cushions very old needed to be replaced. Modern European decoration with comfort. Would like the lighting to be brighter and more cheerful. Overall comfortable stay. Excellent front desk staffs.

Absolutely unacceptable that they have one elevator working for the complete building. It took so long that I used the stairs several times to do the 11 floors. I don't care if they are in service. They have 3 elevators and should have at least 2 working well. Besides that the hotel is very good.

Not only was the room smelly and noisy, the English channel screens were frozen and by the look of it, it had been like that for more than a month. I can't believe an international chain would not offer or fix this type of problem. They just don't seem to have that mentality of providing service for non-Spanish speaking customers.

Proximity to different the downtown area was great but the room itself did not feel cozy and the bathroom had mold due to bad ventilation or high humidity. Therefore, I always sensed a bad smell coming from the carpet.

The WIFI was terrible and housekeeping was hopeless. We had to constantly ask for adequate toiletries and towels. We asked repeatedly for an extra pillow which never came. Cups and glasses used by us where never cleaned. House cleaning only did the beds on a daily basis.

Nice hotel near the \"sites\"

Great hotel, excellent service from the staff - very responsive to requests and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, shows, and tours of Buenos Aires. The hotel is convenient if you want to walk to many of the major visitor attractions - about 20 minutes walk to the Plaza de Mayo, and a short cab ride (there's lots of taxis) to many other sites you'll want to visit. It is in the \"downtown\" area - so you will see homeless folks sleeping on the street right outside the hotel, but walking around the City, even in the areas with the most expensive hotels, you'll see the same thing. Just be careful and aware of your surroundings.

Brilliant Hotel for the money

We have just spent eleven nights at this hotel. We found it to be excellent for what we wanted ie. Location,Excellent staff who were always so helpful and friendly (A special mention to Brenda in the Restaurant/Bar area...ALWAYS SMILING)The food in the restaurant was always lovely and we enjoyed it very much.We also loved the swimming pool and the outside patio area by the pool.We would definitely use this hotel again and am more than happy to recommend it to our friends as a nice and plus safe place to stay in while in Buenos Aries.

This hotel is modern and very well located. It's near theatres, good restaurants, major attractions and also supermarket. The rooms are comfortable. Breakfast buffet served every day is excellent. Variety of options to start your day. The reception staff are the best. Always willing to help you. Of course I will go back to Novotel and I recommend this stay.

Great hotel. Right in the theatre district. Beware that any room requests made on Expedia do not get communicated to the hotel. I requested non smoking but was placed in a smoking room. A non smoking room was available the next day and I was able to switch with no problems.

Great hotel. Very clean, comfortable rooms. The staff did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants and activities.
When we arrived, we found that our room only had one large bed. We immediately contacted the front desk and advised them that we needed a room with two beds. They informed us that they were able to change our room from a large bed to two single beds. Within minutes, two staff members arrived to reconfigure our room. They were extremely pleasant. The front desk staff was excellent to deal with. They spoke fluent English which was very important to us. Everything about the place was top notch. My only complaint, was that the breakfast that was included, could have been a little better. Nonetheless, It was an excellent stay.

Novotel Buenos Aries is a rare find in a bustling city. The front desk employees are among the best I've ever encountered. They went beyond being helpful and treated us like family. The facilities are clean, modern and very comfortable. The restaurant is good for its type and the staff is attentive. The location is in the middle of the vibrant downtown with easy access to transportation and city sights. I would highly recommend the Novotel Buenos Aries.
