Most residents were semi-permanent, many students, and it felt like I was staying in their house. The would have loud conversations at midnight and later without regards to other guests. It was clean and comfortable, though. If you like staying up late, this your place.

The staff here are amazing - very friendly and helpful. We had a private double room which was nice but very noisy owing to the traffic outside. The shower was also very leaky. The breakfast was okay but the kitchen was small and I imagine not great if you want to cook your own meals.
The location is excellent. Overall we had a good stay and I would say this hostel is worth the money you pay.

Definitely recommended.

Room was clean, however towels and bedsheets were not changed throughout our stay. The hotel is located in the centre of Buenos Aires although you have to walk at least 10-15 minutes to any major tourist attractions.

A reasonable stay.

The place is nice with decent sized rooms. Most of the rooms face the side access road which is incredibly loud 24/7 which makes it hard to sleep and on two different occasions there was no hot water for a shower.
If you are looking to party don't stay here as most of the residents are students studying most of the time and when asking the staff where to go for a party they didn't know.

The hostel is fine. Had a double ensuite for the first 3 nights. Was ideal apart from the noise coming from the street. Pretty noisy but not the fault of the hostel. The guy on reception, although very nice, hasn't a clue what is going on. Asked him a few questions about where to go for steak etc..... he had no idea. Another girl at reception didn't know where the nearest ATM was. The American girl on reception did know her stuff. We got a shared room for the 4th night. No towels provided for the shared room. Kitchen is poor. Breakfast provided does the job. Cornflakes, bread, eggs and a grill to cook as u wish. Cake and dulche de leche. Good coffee and a selection of Tea. Best steak I had in Argentina was in Buenos Aires - Parilla Peña.

Reasonable Budget Hostel

A budget hostel in the centre of Buenos Aires. The best bit about the hostel is its location and the wifi which was very good throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was average. It had a small kitchen and a nice common area with table tennis and Netflix on the TV. Unfortunately the place is a bit run down and the dorm rooms are by a noisy road. There was also very little atmosphere there during my stay.
Overall a reasonable budget hostel but there are better hostels in BA at around the same price.

Definitely recommend for BA backpackers

Booked double room then extended to dorm for a week and half. Location is the best-few blocks from center of downtown, supermaket is at right across the street. Felt very safe and easy to navigate myself from the hostel. Staffs were so friendly and helpful, and they arrange daily free activities like tango lesson to mate tea tasting. Definitely recommend this spot to everyone heading to BA who needs bargain and quality accommodation!

We spent 3 nights over there. We don't recommended at all. The staff is unprofessional. Half breakfast was displayed at the recepcion while the tea was in the community room. The cleaning staff was nice with us but one of the guys at the recepcion was very rude. We have only one room ready even we booked and payed for two, they wanted to give us only one.

Had a great time in the hostel.All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Good location. Nice old building with Large lounge area.But Internet was a big problem.Often there was no connection in the room or lounge and occasionally no connection in the reception area too.Also one of the female toilet ( out of 2) are often out of order despite plumber trying to fix it many times.It needs to be replaced.Fridge is very small.

Nice double rooms for couples

We stayed in both a twin and double room. The private rooms are good - fairly spacious and clean. Note, showers had tendency to leak water on bathroom floor due to poorly designed curtains.
The hostel overall was quite good and would recommend it but we did feel like there were too many rules such as getting reminded at breakfast that we were only entitled to one serving of bread/media Lunas each. We also had to pay for luggage storage of 20 pesos per bag per day which we have never been charged for previously in Argentina or south America for that matter. Also, walk-in rates were higher than online and when we asked if they could match the rate online, this was not permitted and had to go through the Hassel of standing at reception and booking the room before they would allow us to check-in. For us, we just don't think hostels are actually that rigid on pricing.

Good location; private double room was mediocre

I had an extra day at BA city and wanted to find somewhere close to the downtown. Location was great as it was close to Julio Ave; but the backstreet environment was very dark. Too close to main street such that it was pretty noisy throughout. In general a good hostel, but didn't feel the private double room was worth what I paid for. Also if you have heavy suitcases - be ready to lift them up three stories staircase. Staff service was inconsistent depending on who is on the roll.

Nice Hostel. Good Location. Friendly staff. Incredibly noisy. The street is so loud and there is no air conditioning. So you have to open the windows at night. The bathrooms give not as much privacy as I would wish but they are very clean.

I only stayed for 4 nights and fortuneatly moved from a 4 bed to 7 bed dorm was only me plus 2 other ladies and another gent then was just me and 3 other gents. The staff were amazing really welcoming and friendly playing decent music and up for a chat. It made my stay feel really good I think if it wasn't for the staff and the other guy I hung out with for the very short time I was there then I don't think I would of stayed. The location was very central and convenient and security was good also. The only problem I had with the place was the extreme hot or cold I had with showers.. Other then that perfect stay perfect trip

Cozy BA hostel in a lovely Buenos Aires

I spent ten nights in BA hostel & I enjoyed the hospitality of its friendly and very helpful stuff!
Unbelievably convenient location of the hostel is something need to be mentioned,almost all tourist attractions are nearby from casa rosada,cafe tortoni,cale florida to the magnificent parliament building.also the famous teatro colon located just few blocks away.I was able to walk from the BA hostel two sundays in a roll to the amazing sunday market of San telmo!

At first I was excited about the piano in the common area. Unfortunately it was played at odd hours and frequently too. The sound was incredibly loud in my room even though I was on the floor above. It wouldn't have been that annoying, however, the piano is horribly out of tune and the people playing it didn't really know how to play. None of that is an issue unless you're trying to sleep or get some peace and quiet. Otherwise the stay was pleasant.

The people at the front desk are really helpful, the common areas are big and comfortable, Great location (close to the subway and main Bus Stops and right in the middle of BA), the rooms are good. In Summary I loved my stay there and I know everyone who was there was also having a good time.

Centrally located, close to tons of restarants and bars, as well as many museums and shopping. The staff was very friendly and helped suggest and book a tango show. Great atmosphere although breakfast was a little un impressive, but you can go to one of th many cafes in the neighbor hood if you want something more full filling.

겉에서 보기와는 다르게 넓고, 매우 청결한 호스텔이다. 주방시설과 휴게실도 이용하기 편하고, 직원들 모두가 친절하다. 단, 건물이 도로에 인접하고 있어 차량소음은 있으나, 가성비를 감안하면 견딜만 하다.
위치도 중심가에 있고 지하철과 모든 버스,특히 공항행 일반버스 정거장이 근처에 있어 매우 편하고, 까르프가 바로 앞에 있다.가성비는 매우 좋다.

O prédio é muito antigo e com muitas escadas para subir. O banheiro privado nos quartos é muito pequeno e tivemos um problema de inundação por conta de um ralo entupido. Foi preciso resolver por nossa conta, pois não tinha nenhum funcionário no local no momento. Os atendentes são simpáticos, mas raramente estão disponíveis. Apenas tivemos atenção no checkin e checkout.

Bem localizado em uma rua paralela à Av. de Mayo e a poucas quadras do Obelisco. Fiquei no apartamento com banheiro privativo e ele sempre esteve limpo. A cama é macia demais, isso pode não agradar os hóspedes com problemas de coluna. O Hostel oferece dois tipos de travesseiro, o ar-condicionado funciona legal e o Wi-Fi é satisfatório. O ponto ruim não tem nada a ver com a hospedagem: o barulho da rua incomoda quem tem sono leve. Os atendentes são espetaculares, sempre disponíveis e ajudando os turistas com dicas para aproveutar bem a viagem. Para estadias mais longas que buscam economia, vale. Fiquei dez dias em Buenos Aires e se fosse para qualquer hotel três estrelas gastaria quase o dobro do que gastei no BA Stop.

Nos hospedamos no Hostel por apenas uma noite, para descansar durante uma longa conexão aérea. O atendimento foi excelente e o lugar é muito bacana. A cama (casal), a roupa de cama e os travesseiros eram muito bons, assim como o banho. É um excelente Hostel com muita informação e ambientes de convívio, inclusive com mesa de pingue-pongue. Em resumo, o lugar é altamente recomendado, apesar de se localizar próximo a rua movimentada e excessivamente barulhenta (caminhões e ônibus), o que foi bastante incômodo à noite (usamos protetores auriculares para dormir). O fato de estar localizado no 2º/3º andar do prédio pode ser um problema para pessoas com dificuldade de mobilidade.

Hostel em ótima localização, há menos de 1Km do Obelisco, fizemos todos os passeios a pé. Quarto para casal bem confortável, limpo e arejado, roupas de banho trocadas diariamente. Hostel bem familiar, pelo menos no período que fiquei não houve nenhum tipo de barulho. Chuveiro quente. Wi-fi ótimo.

Localização excelente, mas muito barulhento. Na primeira noite foi impossível dormir (fica na frente de um bar, passa ônibus na frente e barulho de britadeira logo cedo). O pessoal é muito simpático e o hostel agradável. Pouca opção no café da manhã, para mais de 3 dias é melhor comprar no supermercado. Tem um bem na frente, o que é ótimo. Acesso por escada, complicado para quem tem baixa mobilidade ou mala pesada. Colchão cômodo, lençóis limpos, algumas toalhas rasgadas. Banheiro incômodo, pequeníssimo, box com cortinas e molha tudo. Tem secador de cabelo. Wifi funciona perfeitamente.

市街地の分かり易い立地だったので予約、宿泊しました。　共有スペースも雰囲気が良かったです。　キッチンが狭く混み合っていた上、食器が少なく不便でした。　また、隣接する道路に総重量が４トンを超えるトラックなどが通過するとホステルでも振動を感じます。　窓が簡素なので、街の騒音もありました。

Buen hostel cerca del obelisco, ideal para jóvenes

La estadía fue muy buena, el hostel está muy bien ubicado teniendo que caminar muy poco para llegar a puntos de interés o estaciones de subte. Ideal para gente joven ya que suele haber muchos viajeros jóvenes de otros países. Todos los ambientes del hostel son muy agradables y espaciosos salvo quizás la cocina. El personal es muy amable y es muy seguro ya que antes de poder ingresar hay que identificarse antes de entrar. También tiene deposito de valijas (debería ser gratis al menos durante el día del checkout para quienes se hayan hospedado).

Muy buen servicio, comodidad y muy tranquilo. Personal atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Habitación y baño limpios, hay personal permanentemente manteniendo limpias las instalaciones durante el horario de día.
Habitaciones con lockers para guardar los artículos de valor.
Se encuentra emplazado en una casona considerada patrimonio histórico de la ciudad.

There are bed bugs...

I stayed there for 3 nights, staff are very welcome and helpful! But there is a problem, the blanket or the bed in the room are not clean at all, my arms and legs are suffering itchy for the following whole week, which bothers me a lot, i will back to the hostel next week, hope the problem will be solve already.

宿泊してた人によるのかもしれないが、のんびりとできる。Wi-Fiも問題ないし、シャワーもお湯が出る。キッチンは小さめでお鍋が一個しかないけど譲り合いながら使えた。朝食のパンはホステルで焼いたのをくれる。スタッフも感じがいい。

A localização do BA Stop é excelente. Tem uma estação do metrô virando a esquina, e dá pra ir à pé pra vários pontos no centro. O quarto e o banheiro são grandes e são limpos diariamente. Entretanto, lá é MUITO barulhento, os quartos são virados pra rua, que é muito movimentada, e não há aviso sobre isso. A conexão de wifi é péssima... até mensagens de whatsapp são difíceis de enviar. O café da manhã é ok, 2 paezinhos e 1 medialuna. Senti falta de sucos e frutas, por exemplo. O pessoal do helpdesk é cordial.

El personal del hotel no tiene idea de nada. Mi reserva no figuraba ni siquiera que iba. Las toallas llenas de pelos, en una semana nunca las cambiaron. Todo con muy mala higiene. La gente dentro del lugar grita y pone musica al palo aun a la noche. La zona es terrible, ni una noche decente de sueño. Todos los dias un encargado diferente en la recepcion y nadie sabe como hacer las cosas.

Excelente! El ambiente es muy ameno y te sientes como en casa. Los voluntarios son muy simpáticos y amables. Te asesoran en todo momento. Claro que regresaría!

Hostel très sympa est propre

Cette expérience est pour une chambre double. Hostel très bien situé au coeur de BA. La chambre était très agréable, lumineuse, spacieuse et confortable. Le double vitrage de la chambre et cependant inutile et laisse passer le bruit de la rue. Le petit déjeuné est correct.

Custo benefício ótimo. Staff deixa a desejar.

O hostel em si é bom. O quarto era adequado e limpo. Porém o staff era péssimo. Ao fazer o checkin, me fez esperar uns 5 minutos, enquanto cantava em uma roda de violão, falta de respeito total com o cliente que acabava de chegar de viagem. Também cobram ARS 50 para deixar as malas após o checkout, prática pouco comum em outros hostels. Café da manha não tem nem suco de pó.

街の中心部にある便利なホステル

ロケーションがよくどこに行くのにも便利でした。
部屋もきれいでした。
キッチンがありますが、鍋や食器が古いです。あまり広くもありません。
場所柄、夜間や早朝は路上で話す人や車の音が結構うるさいです。
シャワーもホットシャワーが出ますが、夜遅くなるとお湯が出なくなることもありました。

Quarto com banheiro privativo + café da manhã

Hostel com uma ótima localização e um atendimento muito bom. Wifi é muito ruim e os computadores oferecidos travam demais. Pessoal de banheiro compartilhado tiveram muitos problemas em relação ao chuveiro, como falta de água quente e até mesmo falta de água. Eu não tive o problema, porque peguei um quarto com banheiro privativo, porém a água demorava muito para esquentar. Café da manhã é horrível, sempre a mesma coisa, sem opção de variedades. Sugiro não pagarem por esse serviço e ir comer em alguma cafeteria perto.Limpeza não é nada maravilhoso, mas é o suficiente, trocam sempre as toalhas e tapetes do banheiro. Indico por causa da localização e atendimento, mas em geral deixa muito a desejar.

Primeira vez que fico em Hostel. Gostei bastante! Fiz amizades maravilhosas!!! O lugar é tranquilo e muito próximo aos pontos turísticos da cidade. Para quem tem muita bagagem, se preparar para subir as escadas. Cuidar ao entrar por causa da porta de entrada que é muito pesada. Tive o auxílio de uma funcionária para subir as escadas com as malas. O quarto só para mulheres que fiquei era limpo e as cobertas quentinhas. Dentro do Hostel é quente. O banheiro é tranquilo. A agua do chuveiro para ficar quente, deve-se pegar orientação com a funcionária do Hostel. O uso da cozinha é tranquilo, deve-se anotar o nome nos alimentos antes de pôr na geladeira. O forno do fogão não estava funcionando, para esquentar tinha que usar micro-ondas e fogão. O café da manhã tinha: 2 pãezinhos integral, bergamota em pedaços, chá, leite, café, cereal, margarina, doce e doce de leite (o básico para um café da manhã). Se desejar fazer turismo, deve-se pegar orientação com a recepção ou então pesquisar na internet. Sugiro que tenha o aplicativo Uber instalado no celular para deslocar (Aeroporto - Rodoviária - Hostel), o preço é muito bom! E ainda, GPS instalado, facilita muito p/ quem vai se deslocar a pé. Há lugares como Casa Rosada e Centro Cultural Kirchner que precisa ser agendado via internet p/ visita interna. P/ deslocar-se via ônibus, metrô e trem, deve-se comprar o cartão SUB, valor do cartão 40 pesos, a passagem de metrô é 4,50 pesos e trem 6 pesos. Recomendo este Hostel.

Hostel com excelente localização

O hostel é muitíssimo bem localizado, em um ponto central de Buenos Aires, perto de pontos de ônibus e estação de metrô. A estrutura é legal, um prédio meio antigo, mas bem cuidado, a limpeza dos quartos é boa e a organização como um todo é muito boa. O pessoal que trabalha sempre ajudou com dúvidas e sugestões de onde ir, recomendo-os, até me emprestaram um cartão de transporte para usar no metrô. Como pontos fracos, apenas o fato de não alugarem toalhas de banho, algo que deveria ser mais claro nos anúncios.

Hostel bem localizado e confortável.

Ótimo lugar para passar alguns dias sem gastar muito e aproveitar de quarto confortável e café da manhã delicioso!
Única reclamação é sobre os chuveiros que não funcionaram muito bem durante minha estadia.
De qualquer forma, recomendo o local.
Estadia de 4 dias, valeu muito a pena.
Se voltar à B.A. será meu ponto de parada novamente!
