Really old, non-sense rules, unconvenient. avoid i

One of the worst places I have ever been to. First day I arrived there was no power, therefore no internet, no AC, no light. Considering I need wifi to work, I just had to leave. The room I chose had nothing to do with the pictures of the place I booked so I complained and they changed me to another that was a bit better but still nothing compared to what they offered in the pictures. The apartment condition was bad, everything really old, windows that was hard to open/close, such an old bed, AC was from the 60s at least, so didn't do the job. On top of this, the rules were that you cannot have guests which is non-sense. Also, everytime you left you had to leave the keys in reception and pick them up, which was very unconvenient. Elevator very old and worked only sometimes. I changed to other hotel and for even a lower price I got such a better value. 100% non-recommendable. Avoid at all cost. To the owners - either you invest on it, or shut it down.

Wonderful location within walking distance of many major sites in Buenos Aires. Friendly, helpful staff. Very good housekeeping. Kitchen had limited cooking utensils but staff was very helpful in providing things one needed.

Not what we expected.

We picked this hotel based on the previous reviews, however we got a very bad second floor room, with a tiny tiny bathroom that literally you have to put your legs inside the tub if you want to use the toilet... the rest of the room was not clean as expected and overall was not a good experience.

Really enjoyed our stay here and had a large room over two floors. The overall condition is a little aged and could do with some paint but but overall it was clean and they cleaned the rooms, towels etc every day. The microwave was useful: the breakfast is basic (toast; ham, cheese and some croissants and sweet stuff) the staff were all really friendly. The area they say to be careful at night but during the day it was fine ans convenient for walking around and the metro

Lofty idea for a short stay.

The images of the rooms have been photoshopped. The hotel is more dingy and in need of some upgrades. It looks like they attempted but did not invest properly. The need to lower their rates. I was comfortable enough. Go ahead and sleep through breakfast because it’s no big deal. Staff is very kind and everything is in walking distance.

Good budget hotel

The hotel is convenient located and very close to subway station. Many sights are within walking distance. The staff speaks good English and was very helpful. Breakfast was good. The hotel inside like corridor, breakfast room and other common areas are clean and very impressive. The room inside was a bit disappointed. I am not sure if it is dated or not clean enough. There is no light in the kitchen. We had to cook in the dark. There is no cutlery or plates in the kitchen except one spoon and a knife. One lamp in the room was not working and it was not fixed after we told them. Wifi was excellent. It was good budget hotel.

Did not stay. Pictures are a little deceiving. Rated as a 3 star but felt it was only 2 star. Ended up staying at another hotel around the corner for the same price. Staff was nice and helpful though.
We arrived at 6am and couldnt check in yet. Bad planning on my part so we went to find a place to put our head down and nap. Ended up staying as the room was superior in condition. But much smaller then loft Argentino. We didn't need the kitchen and sitting/living area. For longer stays it is not bad if 2 star is ehat you are after.
Not for me because of the above. It is however pretty central just off 9 ave Julio.

clean, nice hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires

I cannot do stairs( which I forgot to mention when I booked); when I arrived they had me booked in a duplex and immediately was moved to a smaller room just for the first night. The second day I was put in a really nice, big room. Breakfast selection, which was included, was fresh and plentiful. All staff is super helpful and friendly; front desk people Googled any information I asked for, and I did ask a lot. The building is old, charming and smack in the middle of the city with access to about 6 subway lines and at least 10 bus lines within a block and within walking distance of important landmarks, shopping and great restaurants

Very Convenient to Attractions

Hotel surrounding looked a little shady with a trash dumpster very close to entrance but didn't have issues even when walking at night. One block from Avenida 9 de Julio and Avenida de Mayo. Within walking distance of Congress and Florida street for shopping. Hotel does not provide tour bookings but was able to provide information. Staff was friendly but not all speak English. Room was very spacious but the bedroom is upstairs which was not convenient for suitcase so we left then downstairs since the restroom is downstairs. Nice size kitchenette but refrigerator is small. Breakfast was nice and offered 8-10 which is convenient. Good value for the price.

We used this hotel for one night between flights. The staff were helpful with advice about eating and taxis. Nice breakfast. The room included a small kitchen, a living area with table and chairs and a sofa as well as a bedroom above. We would have been happy to use it as a base to explore Buenos Aires.

Good location, in city centre basically.

Location is good as you can easily reach public transport. Not far from puerto madero and other attactions.
The area can be a bit rough at night but so is most of the central BA. If this is with your budget is not a bad option. A good thing about this place is that even tho it is so centric it is quite at night so you can sleep well. There's a front desk guy apparently 24/7 and the property is gated so it seems safe.
Check out is at 10am so don't party out too late you'd be up early lol.

I spent a week in this hotel, there was absolutely nowhere to sit and be comfortable - no lobby and very old and uncomfortable furniture in my room. Kitchen facilities in my room were appallingly bad. Linens were old and threadbare,carpet was filthy. Patricia who served breakfast every morning was wonderful though - very friendly and helpful.

Really great place! Room was large and clean and nicely locally decorated. The front desk staff were so helpful and willing do anything we needed. Very nice and all speak good English. Location is perfect in middle of town. Breakfast was great and very traditional. Great service and the lady that hosts it was very sweet. She also sells argentine mate goods.

Don't be fooled buy the charming photos

We stayed here for one night while we travelled between Colonia and Iguassu Falls. The employees at the hotel were very nice and helpful. However, we felt deceived by the photos on hotels.com versus how the hotel actually looked. Our room was old, there were no towels and the carpets were dirty. I think the 4.1/5 rating is very generous given our experience of the hotel. Breakfast was included and it was good. We are happy we only stayed there one night. We had previously stayed at another hotel closer to Obelisco that was very clean, it had a pool, gym, restaurant and breakfast was included for only $15 usd more per night which we would highly recommend instead. Loft Argentino was hard to find and it is on an uninviting street although it is within walking distance to Obelisco, downtown, the locks and recoletta.

A great stay in BA. Loft room with two floors, bedroom and large space upstairs and kitchen dining area and bathroom downstairs.
Small lobby and other than one member of staff everyone else was very friendly and helpful.
Good location with some good restaurants very close by. Highly recommend.

Perfect location and great staff. Great if you want to avoid the too 'touristic' area and want to feel more like a local. The only dissapointment is that the hotel does not look like it is on the web. My room was on the first floor in the back and was charmless yet practical so not for fusy people!

Great value, Great Location!

I stayed at the Loft y Arte Botique Hotel for two days following staying at a different BA hotel while I was in town for work. The Loft y Arte was certainly not the same type of hotel as the convention hotel (Sheraton Convention Ctr), but was perfect for the remainder of my stay. The room I had was very cute, with a great balcony. The staff are very nice and go out of their way to be helpful. The space is not brand new, and the shower is small (so if the shower curtain touching you bothers you, that's something to note). But all in all a great place with wonderful staff!

We had booked two rooms and after our first night we decided to leave. We found the Kenton Palace to be just twenty dollars more per night with a significantly different room. Our bathroom was super tiny. The shower would flood the bathroom. The toilet wasn't working and even that I let front desk know and according to them someone came to fix it, it wasn't. The pictures are very nice but our room was below our expectations.

Cheap hotel but be prepared for lot of noice

My friend and I stayed one night in Loft And Arte Boutique Hotel and was happy it wasn't any longer. OK the hotel cheap so I guess you get what you pay for but we had quite a sleepless night since there are a lot of noice from the street and the windows are not keeping any noice out. Also the old lift next to our room was making a lot of noice everytime it was being used, which was surprisingly a lot. We booked a twin room but where given a double so asked the receptionist to sort that out. Unfortunately that meant that the room we moved to was less nice but we were told there was no other choice. Breakfast was good and the 1st floor seemed a lot nicer than the 2nd floor where we were based, so maybe we were just unlucky. However I stayed much nier places in Buenos AIres for not much more money so would not go back to this hotel.

Overall Review of Hotel

We were impressed by this hotel. The staff were helpful and speak good english. BA is a nice city to walk around and the hotel is located in a good location close to the city centre and many restaurants. They were very good in organising taxis for early morning starts. Only issue is that the building is a bit old so sometimes minor issues came up (e.g. wifi) + hot water taking a long time to become hot.

LOFT COMPLETAMENTE EM REFORMA

Logo na entrada o susto uma tábua de madeira no chão para vc passar , não há recepção , ou melhor a suposta recepção está no quarto 11no 1º andar q caso vc opte por ir de elevador que é super antigo torça p não ficar presa, parar no caminho ou cair vc chegará na “recepção “ no meio de muita mas muita poeira de construção, os degraus das escadas estão soltos, o jardim este não há, há um canto terrível com coisas jogadas e muito sujas , está mesinha linda e branquinha kkkk nem pensar. Bom os quartos que estão nestas fotos pessoal esquece não há nem um nem perto disso há móveis caindo aos pedaços, coxão péssimo e imundo, os lençóis nem se fala as toalhas vem rasgadas ou desfazendo, as panelas todas enferrujadas, a BANHEIRA tem 70 cm n tem tampa, há uma cortina imunda ao redor terrível . O café era razoável mas era igualzinho todos os dias , 1 único dia teve água numa jarra suja bem suja e com bico quebrado , Bom é difícil dizer se há alguma coisa boa pq apesar de estar perto de certos pontos turísticos ao mesmo tempo é horrível o local anoiteceu não é aconselhável sair a pé.
OBS: Estamos muito DECEPCIONADO com HOTEIS.COM pois foi através deles nós contratamos um serviço de acomodação totalmente diferente do que está exposto em foto, chego à conclusão que o padrão do HOTÉIS.COM está caindo muito , infelizmente não está mais confiável para uma hospedagem segura como antes que já utilizei para ir até para Europa e foi tudo como contratado e desta vez foi um terror.

Quando escolhi um hotel tipo loft tinha expectativas que não se concretizaram. No primeiro dia o quarto estava \"com cheiro de mofo\" e eu que tenho renite passei a viajem inteira tomando antialérgico antes de entrar no hotel. Na cozinha o cheiro é mais forte ainda.
Em resumo, o quarto é antigo, com pedaços de madeira no pé do sofá e um banheiro minusculo com aquelas cortinas de plastico no box que fica literalmente em cima do vaso sanitário.
O colchão é velho e afunda, mas da pra suportar, e tem uma TV pequena longe, ruim de ver, alem de só ter uma tomada da luminária que ficou desligada para carregar os celulares.
Até tentei trocar a hospedagem com intermediação do Expedia mas não consegui Não me hospedaria mais neste hotel e não recomendo. a unica coisa boa foi a localização próximo ao metro, ponto de ônibus e atrações do centro de Buenos Aires

Apesar da ótima localização o hotel não possui ferro de passar, o box do banheiro é de 1x0,70 cm, com um limpador de vaso e chuveiro imundos, e o ar condicionado faz um barulho que o torna impossível de usar.

Wir buchten ein Loft von 69 m² mit Stadtblick, Balkon und Komfortbadewanne, und bekamen ein Zimmer von Ca 40 m² ohne Stadtblick, ohne Balkon und ohne Badewanne. Mussten die erste Nacht dort verbringen. Am nächsten morgen heiß es, dass wir das größere Zimmer (welches wir gebucht und bezahlt haben) gegen Aufpreis haben könnten. Nachdem wir weiter interveniert haben, wurde der Manager gefragt und wir bekamen das von uns gebuchte Zimmer. Das kostete uns Zeit und Nerven.

Pratique, accueillant, nous y avons séjourné plusieurs jours pour visiter Buenos aires. Une ligne de bus passe juste devant vous déposant à la gare routière principale (retiro).
Les appartements sont pratiques, assez confortable mais certains un peu vétustes... seul bémol l'isolation pour le bruit :(
Le personnel est très accueillant et arrangeant.
Le petit déjeuner est bon, produits frais et variés

O hotel tem uma recepção bem pequena, antiga. Sobe as escadas ou um elevador pequeno e vai para os quartos. Fiquei no loft junior, móveis mais velhos, chuveiro demora 10min para esquentar a água, o quarto tem uma área com cozinha( fogão, frigobar, armários) junto com a cama e armário para roupas. É um prédio antigo que precisa de uma reforma e troca dos móveis.
A parte do hotel no primeiro andar é mais bonita, o café da manhã é bom e os funcionários da recepção são bem prestativos.

Todo el hotel estaba muy llimpio, lo mismo la habitacion y el baño. Toallas de buena calidad, entregaban jaboncitos y shampoo y enjuague.
El personal fue muy amable, el hotel está bien ubicado y tiene buena seguridad.
El hotel tiene como parte negativa el horario del desayuno, que lo empiezan a servir a las 8 de la mañana; los desagües sueltan mal olor y lo otro que me molestó un poco es que la habitacion tiene cocina incluida, pero no habia nada para calentar agua, tal vez tendria que haber ido a recepcion y pedir agua claiente para un te, pero estaba cansada. Tampoco tienen bebidas frias para vender.
No se si repetiría por estas cosas, pero para solo dormir un par de noches, el hotel está bien.El wifi andaba muy bien.

O hotel ñ corresponde às fotos, que foram tiradas há tempos, qdo novo ou após reforma. Recepção antiga, pequena, aos moldes de hotéis antigos e baratos. Foi nos dado um quarto muito ruim, pequeno e com defeito na fechadura da porta de vidro da sacada, decepção ao entrarmos, bem diferente das acomodações vista nas fotos do site. Mas após nossa reclamação, fomos atendidos prontamente e mudados para um quarto melhor. Não recomendo se estiverem procurando um lugar agradável pois o valor cobrado não vale o que demonstram.

al principio llegamos y en la habitación había mucho olor a cigarrillo y la ducha se caía. pero al día siguiente de inmediato nos cambiaron de habitación.siempre hubo buena atención de Patricia, Marcelo, Martin, Victor y otros del personal que no pregunte su nombre pero que hicieron nuestra estadía agradable. queda a una cuadra del subte A y pasan todos los colectivos. Pero no hay relación calidad-precio.

El loft comodo y desayuno bastante variado. Poco mantenimiento y limpieza regular. Faltaban toallas y mantas para las camas que nos fueron alcanzadas cuando las solicitamos.
Al realizar el check out tuvimos q presentar el comprobante de pago ya que nos querian cobrar nuevamente los impuestos y tasas.

Vale muito a pena

O Loft Argentino fica muito bem localizado, o café da manhã é excelente para os padrões de Buenos Aires, é muito confortável e espaçoso. Você se sente em casa e pode economizar fazendo pequenas refeições em casa. Tem aquecimento, embora nos causou certo desconforto pela sua temperatura, mas no último dia pedimos para desligá-lo e nos arrependemos por não termos pedido antes. As camas são um pouco estreitas, mas não prejudica. Vale muito a pena! Caso volte à Buenos Sires, pretendo ficar lá.

ME ASUSTÉ AL LLEGAR. El lobby es tan pequeño que creí haber cometido el peor de los errores al contratar ese Hotel. Pero esa sensación fue superada apenas subimos a la habitación, que era muy buena y confortable

Das Zimmer zur Straßenseite war klein und laut, das Bad sehr klein und unhandlich. Das Frühstück ist gut und das Hotelpersonal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Appartments zum Innenhof sind besser, weil leiser und größer, auf zwei Ebenen.

Direkt bei der Avenida de Mayo, sehr zentral.

Einfaches, sauberes Apart-Hotel. Wir hatten eine Wohnküche und ein Schlafzimmer über 2 Etagen. Sehr nettes Persoanl. Jederzeit wieder!!

Das Hotel ist sehr günstig gelegen, nahe dem Zentrum, die Räume sind liebevoll hergerichtet und ausgestattet. Das Frühstück wurde in einem wunderschönen Raum angeboten und war gut und reichlich.

Es ist ein ganz wunderbares Hotel. Große geräumige Zimmer, das beste Frühstück,sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Wir konnten unser Gepäck auch zwischendeponieren und nach 8 Tagen wieder abholen.
zudem erhielten wir viele Reiseempfehlungen und Infos über Argentinien.
Ein sehr schönes Hotel !

Trata-se de hotel muito bem localizado na região central. Contudo, o hotel é extremamente antigo, com as instalações velhas, necessitando de reparos e reforma urgente. Embora o quarto seja grande, mesmo o loft junior, o aspecto não é dos melhores. As fotos que exibem são muito melhores do que a realidade. Café da manhã é simples, mas ok. O \"staff\" do hotel é atencioso e prestativo. Enfim, certamente não me hospedarei novamente.

Hotel com excelente localização entre a 9 de Julho e Av de Maio, fica próximo ao congresso, casa rosada, Obelisco e San Telmo, vários restaurantes próximos e estação A do metrô. A cama é confortável , o banheiro bem apertado, bom café da manhã. Custo benefício muito bom,

Buenos Aires: cinemas, passeios a pé e vinhos.

Buenos Aires é uma cidade muito agradável e segura, se comparada aos padrões das cidades brasileiras. Gosto de ir para lá para ir aos cinemas de rua do microcentro, sempre com ótimas programações de filmes europeus e argentinos, passear pelas ruas e tomar vinhos argentinos. O hotel fica relativamente próximo da loja de vinhos dos Hermanos Muñiz, que tem muito bons preços.

É a segunda vez que fico nesse Loft. Gosto pq é simples e aconchegante. Para quem quer um lugar tranquilo com cara de casa, é ideal. Café da manhã simples, mas o suficiente. É um 'flat' e não um hotel. Não há serviço de quarto para solicitar refeições e/ou bebidas lá. Apresentam uma carta com alguns pratos de um estabelecimento 'conveniado'.

Excelente hotel! Como se trata dw um loft os quartos são mto amplos e aconchegantes... o atendimento foi excelente e o café da manhã (croissants, geleia, doce de leite, manteiga, presunto, queijo, frutas, leite, café, suco e iogurte), apesar de não ter muitas opções (ao menos do ponto de vista do q os brasileiros estão acostumados), é muito gostoso e bem preparado... em geral foi uma ótima estadia, apenas deixo duas dicas: o banheiro é bem pequeno apesar do tamanho do quarto, impossível duas pessoas tomarem banho ao mesmo tempo - e os utensílios que eles fornecem no loft são poucos e simples, portanto, carreguem em suas bagagebs, se possivel, abridor de vinho e bucha e detergente para limpar a louça que porventura sujarem... o loft fica muito bem localizado, recomendo a estadia a todos!
