A good choice in the San Telmo district

I chose this hotel based on its location in the historic San Telmo district of Buenos Aires. Historic buildings, cultural sites, the Mercado, and many restaurants are within walking distance. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable, quiet, and clean.

4 nights. Location is great. Walking distance to many places of interest. Bedding was clean. Breakfast was pretty good. had toast with ham/salami/cheese, coffee/juice/yogurt drink (love the pink kind), freshly cut fruits, pastry items. But about the same everyday.
WiFi available in room but not useable (slow and spotty. Had to go to lobby to use WiFi. This would be my biggest complaint.
No noise insulation. Can hear neighbors cough, every door opening / closing and traffic on the road. AC start/stop was loud.

A bad pillow or destroyed your vacation… the location is convenient is close to almost every point of interest … easy to go around … Uber works perfect and it’s cheap .. the area is a little dirty but in general it’s ok

Loved everything about this hotel except the Internet. We stayed eight nights and found the staff, especually the night desk clerk, to be friendly and helpul. Our room was small but functional and breakfast was good, but was the same for all eight days. Location is great. We walked everywhere. Our only issue was the unreliable Internet. Some times it was fine but often we couldn't even load a web page. That is the only reason we would not stay here again. Otherwise highly recommended.

Value was excellent! Room and lobby were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a regular room. 208. Bed was comfortable. Television was Spanish only. We could not attach by Bluetooth to our IPad. Plugs were Euro and no USBs in the room. They provided us a Euro plug hair dryer and one plug adapter. We plugged in double USB port then portable charger, then both IPhones and IPad. That worked. Shower head mount was broken and had to balance with water pressure to hold shower handle in place for shower. The outlet at the desk was broken. Breakfast was excellent! Staff was very helpful! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is good for Plaza di Mayo, Ave di Maya and Ave di Julio. The area around the hotel felt safe. The hotel was nice and clean, breakfast was good and the staff were friendly, although they didn't speak much English they were still very helpful.
My room was on the 8th floor and there was a fairly constant noise which I assume was the lift mechanism, after 3 days staying there it was definitely getting iritating.

You basically get what you pay for here. The hotel is very simple but safe and clean. Be careful around the area, however. My IPhone was stolen by a guy riding a bike down the street just as I was consulting a map on the phone. Despite running down the street after him yelling \"Socorro!!,\" nobody lifted a finger to help in any way.

I booked a two night stay, ended up staying one night.

To start, I went to the front desk a few minutes after entering my room, due to the outlet at the desk completely missing. Since the phone has no markings for front desk, I decided to go and speak with the person who checked me in. He then called for maintenance and by the time I walked back to my room, the door was wide open and the maintenance person was fiddling around with the light switches, as if I didn’t realize how to insert the key to make the power come on. After a brief exchange (in Spanish), I finally got him to listen to the actual problem at hand, the plastic covering for the outlet was missing and the wiring was exposed. At this time he says “why didn’t the housekeeper tell me about this”…. Little did I know this would be a theme of my short stay at Two Hotel.

I then decided to try and get some work done, doing my best to ignore the constant noise of chairs sliding across the floor and loud talking in the hallways.

As time went by, I became tired and felt like I should sleep. Around 12:30am, the guests in the room directly next door, were blasting music, so I called the front desk… maybe 30 minutes afterwards. The employee at the front desk was very nonchalant and essentially ignored my call, as I had to call back 10 minutes later asking why the noise level was the same. Soon after, I hear a knock at the door of my neighbors.

LIKE: Cheap, clean, convenient location, refurbished building, guest areas look new/modern. Did I say cheap?

COULD BE BETTER: Standard room was small, room phone is not capable of making calls outside the hotel, pillow were of two varieties...too hard and too soft.

The areas I pointed out as \"could be better\" were minor, and considering the price, they can easily be brushed aside. As an example, across the street is a full service hotel, with all the amenities, but for the price of one night at the 4 star hotel, I stayed 5 nights at the TWO hotel, what I saved goes a long way for paying for my other vacation expenses. The breakfast is a good variety of pastries and bread, cereal, ham slices, cheese slices, yogurt, coffee and tea. I will definitely stay here again, provided the price stays low.

This hotel has a lot of potential. The interior could use some updating and the general facilities require some attention. Basic things like air conditioning worked satisfactory. During the peak of the COVID-19 mandatory lockdown, hotel staff acted and treated guests as though they were infected and were unprofessional at times. Breakfast staff were cold and unfriendly although housekeeping staff were generally pleasant and polite. The use of bleach on the room floors damaged clothing and the shower would fill up quickly leaving an less than luxurious feeling. Front desk staff mostly were friendly and generally helpful. A suggestion to be more transparent with information would be helpful.

The room was very clean and the service excellent. Our room was quite small, typical of European hotels. We didn’t have a hair dryer, not sure if it’s the same for all rooms and I had not noticed when I booked the hotel. The location was perfect. The WiFi worked well and fast. We arrived earlier than expected and they were kind enough to let us check-in. The rooms were comfortable, kind of small, if you are traveling with kids be careful with the restroom as it lacks privacy. Breakfast is included and it pretty much coffee and bread, \"las medialunas\" are fantastic. Hotel is located in San Telmo, close to many restaurants and about 15 minutes walk to Puerto Madero. Customer Service was great and they provided us with lots of information. Close to many tourist attractions

Good hotel in a good location with good staff. If I’m ever in B.A. again, I would gladly return to this hotel. The one slight hit would be breakfast. There isn’t much of a selection outside of bread products. However, I also understand that I’m was in a different country with a different view of how breakfast is served.

Desk printed out boarding passes, ordered remiss(radio taxi ) to airport 30 USA$ 1100 pesos. Breakfast was typical European but lacking fruit. Rooms small. We had two rooms for 56 dollars each. Breakfast was not great. For a person who can not eat bread because of gluten issues, I ended up going to a grocery store to buy rice cakes and decent cheese.

The hotel is simple. Rooms are super basic. Our room had a weird sour smell and the bed only had 2 very bad pillows. No blow dryer, no wash cloths. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Free breakfast with no healthy food! Just sweets and bad cereal. No fresh fruit Would not recommend

Very conviniently located near banks and restaurants but being in the city center it reminded me of the dirtiness in US cities during the 80s. Lots of dogs freely in the streets therefore not unusual to see dogs droppings everywhere. But not around Two Hotel ( they wash their sidewalks in the mornings)

Mixed feelings. Hotel rooms are small but very nice, clean and well designed. Location is central and I could walk to lots of interesting places in the city. Hotel staff however was not very service-oriented. Examples include: I had to contact them 3 times to get the WiFi on my room fixed as it was terribly slow. Eventually they changed me to another room and the problem got fixed but after a day and a half. In another instance, I had to phone them again 3 times to get an iron and board, and the whole thing took about an hour. Finally, one of the days I came down for breakfast close to 10:30am limit and when I asked the lady if she could give me a minute to get a couple of pastries on the plate, she said no and kept taking everything away from the buffet. Very unprofessional.

Desk staff were not ontetested in assisting with queries and quote abrupt. We had asksd about the gym and were told second floor but we searcjed the second floor several times and no sign on a door indicating tje gym and nothong our room ley would unlock.
On leaving we asked the desk staff to book us a taxi which he did but this led to a very unpleasant experience
On arriving at the airport the driver who spoke very little english insisted that i follow him into the airport to check tickets. He then disappeared and drove ny husband about a further kilometer and demanded all the money he had and stating he wanted us dollars. Thankfully my husband blankly refused and fortunately we both had phones with us and cpuld find each other .

Good location

Great location, easy access to major sites and metro. I tried to organize an airport shuttle pick up, but wasn’t confirmed by them when I arrived. I waited at the airport just in case they were late. But a no show. Getting a taxi was cheaper anyways. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. Wifi was good, buffet was ok, I’m not a breakfast person but lots of pastries etc.

Relatively new hotel. The service was good, the front desk was very helpful in giving directions. We were able to arrange transfer to the airport through the hotel and it was cheaper than a cab. The only reason we are not rating it a 5 is the size of the rooms. They are adequate for a three day stay any longer than that would be difficult, we kept on bumping into the chair when trying to get to the small closet. Even with that, we feel that for the price in Buenos Aires it is a good deal.

Great modern facility. Good breakfast. Good location to see all. Near public transport. Not much going on at night near hotel, but centrally located - can walk to San Telmo; Plaza Mayo, July 9 Street. My only small complaint would be that the A/C unit blasts air at you while sitting at the desk (the desk is a nice touch and appreciated, but did not use it due to the air blasting me). Direction baffles on the A/C did not work so could not redirect air.
Otherwise very nice place.

Overall and excellent hotel with a few exceptions.

I traveled with my wife and young teenage son as part of a bigger group and although we shared a room with a queen size and single bed, the three of us were very comfortable. Check in was smooth and hassle free with all staff speaking excellent English. Location is great right in San Telmo minutes from everything. Really enjoyed my stay in BA. We were apprehensive about safety after reading all the recent reports about people getting robbed or mugged but we did not encounter any problems. Then again we were a group of 8 and were usually together. I think if you use your common sense you should be fine.
I would recommend doing the sightseeing hop on/off bus. It is definitely worth the money and if you want to do it all and take your time, you may need the 48 hour option. I found the food in the restaurants nearby excellent and the pizza from Alameda Restuarnt is a thing of beauty. Not a fancy place by any means but the food is old school and the servings generous.
As for the breakfast it was good as long as you like sweet pastries. No fruit or yogurt. Due to my wife needing gluten free options her choices where very limited. Also, the drink machine in the lobby was empty the day we arrived and it was still empty 3 days later. As for the reception the advise given was somewhat hit and miss depending on who was on at the time. Nevertheless, overall it was a good stay and would recommend it.

Two Hotel operated under shoestring staffs.

Two Hotel is actually better than I expected.
If you observed their staffs closely, you'll find that they're not rude at all as most of the reviews comment on their bad attitude. They're rather knowledgeable & running the operation in perfection. Being shorthanded, their answers to customer's questions are usually short & direct which made them look inattentive.

I liked the room itself. It is clean and comfortable. However, I had two unpleasant experiences with the staff at the front desk.
First, I requested a single queen bad room when I booked the hotel. When I arrived, I was a given a twins bedroom because they runed out of twins bedrooms. The person told me to come back next day if I wanted to change. The next day when I returned, a different staff showed me an grumpy, indifferent face and told me that all the beds in the hotel are the same size. But when I entered my new room, I saw a queen bed. I will give 1/5 score to that guy’s answer to me.
Second, my friends dropped off a bus card for me with my name and room number on it for me to pick up later. But the front desk people kept saying they don’t have it. I asked them to double check because I really needed the card. They finally found it and said the card was mistakenly put with other room keys. They didn’t apologize for my time at all.

Two Hotels staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. They provide an extensive range of food items at breakfast. Within walking distance of most places. The Obelisk, Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, San Telmo Markets and the Docks.
