BEWARE: this hotel is a fraud. If you like overspending for rooms that are dirty and of very poor quality, this hotel is for you. Under no circumstances can this be considered a “Five Star Hotel”. Maybe with some effort it could be a 3 star hotel.

We arrived with reasonable expectations. We had spent the previous two days at the Hilton Puerto Madero for an event. That hotel was phenomenal. This one disappointed the moment we stepped into the lobby.

The check in was abnormally slow. We were the only ones checking in and it took more than 20 minutes. The lobby had a peculiar smell, a little bit like sewage. Furniture was old and chipped in the edges and the walls were severely overdue with a pain.

We were given the keys to our room. Getting off the elevator, we were welcomed by a torn and stained carpet and a cramped and dark hallway. This place retains the design of a 1990s hotel that hasn’t been updated since.

We stepped into our room. It also smelled. We were given an accessible room, not having asked for it, with a shower head that was 5 feet above the ground and not high enough for being used comfortably. The furniture was cheap, old, and chipped. The surfaces were dusty. There was a white powder on the shelves of the very small closet showing that, whoever cleans this place, does so terribly.

The floors were dirty. You could see filthy marks of accumulated dust on the edges. Again: their cleaning standards are terrible, and no one seems to keep standards.

Fantastic hotel, with a welcoming staff, big rooms, comfy beds and a great shower. Breakfast was phenomenal with many options to choose from.

We didn’t use the pool (too cold) but it looks promising. It’s based in the newer part of town, so many fancy restaurants around.

I was moved into a completely different hotel but still charged the same even though I was heavily inconvenienced and moved to jougen which is a lower priced and lower amenity hotel. There’s no pool, smaller rooms, and overall older. I was incredibly dissappinted in this stay since it was not communicated until I showed up to check in.

No city view and pool is not in the hotel

The hotel is in a great location to explore San Telmo and other areas as has good metro links to the other areas. We booked a Superior Room with a city view but were disappointed to find we did not get this even though it was confirmed on our booking. Be careful as we were told only 4 rooms have a city view and they were all booked so we felt we were misled as this was a reason for selecting this hotel. The booking information also said there was a pool but this is in fact in the City hotel next door and you have to leave this hotel, go out onto the street and then into the hotel next door. Again, we felt misled about this as this was one of the main reasons for booking this particular hotel. Apart from these 2 points we were happy with the hotel.

The location is ideal. There is no bar in this hotel. They advertise having plugs to borrow for your chargers etc but these are not available per the front desk. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean

The check in time was 0300 pm and my room was ready only at almost at 0500 pm, has been waiting in the lobby. Shower set up is terrible. Some type of the plastic glass and all the water on the floor that does not make it to the drain so constantly used towels to dry it.

I will definitely stay again at this hotel , the location is perfect , you can walk to san Telmo , plaza de mayo , obelisco , teatro Colón , casa rosada ,puerto Madero or you can take a taxi , super easy and taxis are not expensive. Also the front desk employees ara very attentive, profesional, they make you feel at home. I think the person that did our check inn was Gabriel, don’t remember his name but he was very very nice. Our room was always clean 1059. Thank you to the cleaning lady don’t know her name but she did a good job.Last day they held our luggage , so we could sightseeing until it was time to go to the airport , and called a taxi for us. We did not use the breakfast lounge because a friend of mine recommended the cafe next to the hotel called Pertutti and after the first breakfast we went there every day, but I saw a lot of guess going to the 7 floor at the hotel for breakfast. Our stay at this hotel and in general in BA was wonderful.

Fantastic location right on Plaza Maya. Very convenient for walking to all the main attractions. Cafe Perlutti next door was wonderful. Daily breakfast at the hotel was great. Room was very modern, extremely comfortable beds, and a fabulous view. We really enjoyed this hotel and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially the front desk).l I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would hapily stay here again

Absolutely perfect location. Staff is super-friendly and most of them speak enough English that if you're Spanish is weak (as mine is), they can meet you halfway. Restaurant is nice. Only minor quibble is that the building is showing a bit of ware, but that is sooooo minor in comparison to all the favourables. We would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly when we asked for help getting taxis and printing boat tickets. The restaurant a few steps away, Pertutti, was so good that we went there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both the hotel and Pertutti are very highly recommended.

The staff, especially the reception staff were very attentive and responsive. The room was spacious and clean. The location is very convenient to many sites. The issue is with deferred maintenance like all the other hotels in Argentina: toilet was not attached to wall so make noise each time we sit and stand up, flushing is also very noisy, shower water goes from hot and cold in minutes.

Shower/tub needs grab bars and a non-slip mat.
The beds have HARD mattresses.
The bidet is tricky - turn it fully on and it creates a geyser that hits the ceiling. No kidding - room 757.

Amazing staff and hotel, PERFECT location

The hotel's condition and the staff we're totally amazing. I have no bad words to say.
But the crown's jewel is the location. There are no words to explain how much the location is the best it can be. Literally all the attractions are near, and all the subways are leaving from your doorstep.

The location was fantastic! It is one block away from the \"Casa Rosada\" (government house), the Cathedral was across from the Plaza de Mayo and the Cabildo (historic government building), and so much more! our room was huge, beautiful and super clean. The cleaning people were really nice, and everyone else as well. We remember fondly Maria del Pilar and Rocio at the reception desk, greeting us with a smile every day for two week, offering us help in every little thing we needed, from directions, money exchange, recommendations, and so on, with the best attitude. The price was really affordable and our stay there was a total pleasure! We highly recommend this hotel.
