One elevator was broken down so one had to wait for up to 10 during busy times. Rooms lacked amenities such as sufficient towels, chairs, tissues, extra pillows. The shower was very slippery, which would have been helped with a shower mat. The location was ver central, which was nice, but rooms facing the front were noisy. There was no food available, aside from breakfast. Breakfast was good, but very crowded. Staff had trouble keeping up with the supply of plates, cutlery and some food items.

Many Normal IBIS Services Lacking
I have stayed at many IBIS locations over the past 20 years so I am familiar with what to normally expect.
GOOD: Excellent location, very near to Florida and Lavalle Streets and about a quarter mile from the Obelisk. Staff friendly especially the doormen who are very helpful.
Negative: This IBIS has no laundry service, very inconvenient. Restaurant is not up to typical IBIS standards. Not worth eating breakfast here also it cost much more than IBIS normal costs, restaurant for lunch and dinner only serves things like sandwiches. Bathroom a mess, floor floods easily not proper drainage. My sink would hardly drain, reported it 3 times, improved some but still had issues. Also difficult for taxi's to find, sign out front not very visible. Would I stay here again, no, too many other hotels nearby at around the same price that will provide better cost/benefit ratio. Not a bad place, just not up to normal IBIS quality standards.

Booked 4 nights in the Ibis and ended up leaving after just 2. The hotel is over 11 floors and had just 1 working lift (max occupancy 3 people) for the duration of our stay. Had to wait for up to 15 mins to use it to move luggage to and from our room on the 9th floor. The rooms are tiny, no where to store any luggage. The a/c unit was directed onto the bed meaning it blew cold air either directly into your face or you had to suffer with the heat. Overall a poor experience.

The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring central Buenos Aires. Obelisk, Teatro Colon, Casa Rosada etc. are all within easy walking distance. Entry to the hotel is controlled by a doorman so we always felt safe and secure within the building. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

En general cumple. Tal vez le falta un poco de limpieza en los baños de las habitaciones. Buena relación precio/calidad. Desayuno medianamente variado, aunque si no llegas temprano te toca esperar a que se desocupen mesas porque el espacio es reducido y algunas personas se ponen a tener reuniones virtuales en esas mismas mesas. Otro punto a tener en cuanta es que las tarjetas de acceso a las habitaciones fallan mucho, de 3 dias que estuve 2 tuve que pedir en el front desk me la volvieran a activar.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, a pesar de que está en un sector ruidoso se descansa muy bien. La puerta de la ducha no cerraba bien por lo que cuando uno se baña, hay que trapear el baño después.Hay bichos de humedad en el baño, el desayuno es muy básico, si se busca un buen desayuno es mejor salir a buscar. El servicio es lo mejor del lugar, todo el personal es súper atento y amable.

Muy bien ubicado, la atención es buena, la habitación es algo sencilla, pero tiene todo lo necesario (perchas, secadora de pelo, escritorio, tele de buen tamaño, cable), la cama es muy cómoda. No tiene amenidades y el buffet del desayuno es algo limitado, pero descansas bien y puedes llegar caminando a varios sitios turísticos. Volvería a este hotel, lo recomiendo.
