Except the employees were very friendly as well as house keeping, the hotel by itself is outdated noise comes from everywhere , rooms inside hotel are worst than rooms on street side, there is compressor for main AC grounding 24h non stop with open sky.
Overall I requested a quite room and was approved by reservation management, once on site it was big disappointment, I had to change the room 3 times, adding earplugs to sleep .
They lied to me.
Not recommended 😕.

Rooms are small. 5min walk to shopping place, La Florida and dinner options. Overall a very good hotel if you are not looking for a luxurious option.

I do have positive and negative things about my stay in this property. Let's proceed with what I believe was good, it is well located, close to the turistic area, staff was attentive and helpful, we arrived earlier than the check-in time and without any problem our luggages were storage in a safety area, the room, bathroom were clean, price was acceptable for the actual condition of the hotel, floors are excellent, can't hear steps from top floor, good soundproofing,
it is very quiet. Negative input, the hotel is outdated needs some handyman touches and needs to change those old furnitures, draperies and would be nice if property gets painted, breakfast was continental and the guy in the dinning area worked hard to keep trays full and clean. I am not sure if i will ever come back to BA I will go back again here but just for one night was not bad at all.

The staff was not helpful. I was asked not to move two tables together so our whole party could fit at breakfast, not to work where people have breakfast, a big deal was made beacause I needed to store milk for my baby in the fridge (there are no fridges in the room). Not willing to go one step further to help the guest. Customer service is terrible, except for the guys that serve breakfast. They were really nice (not the person that is in charge of the kitchen, this person was also bad, shouting out loud that they couldn't store the milk in the fridge). Not recommended.

A good location for restaurants at night.

I liked the location -- near several restaurantes and the metro station. The lobby was nice-- ease of waiting for your taxi/driver when waiting for a tour. It was a tad far from sites but I was okay with it some people may think it was far. The breakfast was not to my liking -- more European flare, no eggs even hard boiled. The fruit was okay. A nice variety of pastries . The orange juice tasted watered down.

Great convenient property close to the main center. The staff are extremely helpful.
The streets outside is a bit shady. My biggest complaint is the breakfast area is too small for the number of guests, understaffed, and not enough variety for breakfast. We had to go out and eat proper breakfast.
I would definitely stay again here, just skip the breakfast.

The staff tried his best to help you (ie help you to book a taxi to airport 4am on a holiday ( where taxis are extremely hard to find one on that night and the staff was able to !). However, I wouldn’t say it’s a 4-stars hotel since no hair dryer and kettle available in the room nor at front desk. Have to pay an extra for amenities.

Noisy hotel with slow operation

The check in was almost an hour, they had only one person working for 3-4 people waiting to check in. In the night the room was very noisy, not from the street, but from the other rooms. For the check out I had to wait a lot again, hence I've missed my city tour...
I would never again stop here.

Adequate Hotel in Downtown District

Room Was Clean but common areas (hallways) had stains in carpets and desks and nite stands had scratches.

Hotel does NOT have ice machines on any floor (it has 6 floors) and did NOT seem concerned whether I had ice or not. The first nite they gave me about 7 cubes in a makeshift plastic bag. The second nite they wouldn't give me any claiming the ice machine was broken. That was surprising since a group was holding a conference at the hotel. You have to go to the bar to get ice and a bartender (male) was rude and not helpful at all. Being a black man it could have been due to that fact. My overall impression of Buenos Aires is that it's a society that dislikes Black people. I must add, however, that Diana and another female at the front desk were exemplary in terms of the treatment I received from them. The night male clerk seemed to go along with any bad service I received from the bar staff. If they said there was no ice that was end of story. BAD customer service !!!

Reasonable stay in central part of town.

This (older?) hotel is in a good location near tourist sites/restaurants/shopping/public transportation. Care of the property is somewhat neglected. Our room had no toilet paper and 2 out of 3 light bulbs in the living area did not work. Staff were quick to fix. Also note that any room below level 2 is probably not recommended, as subway apparently runs directly under the street in front of building. We were on level 1 and listened to the rumblings much of the night.

Convenient, and economical, but with terrible WiFi

The room is fine, and has air conditioning. The bed was pretty comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size.

Breakfast is included which is nice, although the breakfast was in my opinion too heavily skewed towards bread. Not much in the way of fruit.

WiFi was absolutely horrible. I could connect only infrequently, and when I could it was very slow. Definitely not great when traveling for business.

The gym is not very good (1 treadmill, 2 stationary bikes, and a few free weights).

Location is very convenient in the middle of the the center of the city and within walking distance of many good restaurants.

As a hotel option for a business trip it isn't that great. If you are visiting the city and planning on being out of the room most of the time it is fine.

The street in front of the hotel was under construction.
The receptionist had an odd attitude, a little bit annoying.
The beds were really small, the t.v. very old. One of the rooms had an issue with the shower...

Very far from the standards of a 4 star hotel

We booked this hotel based on the good price (special for the day) and the 4 star rating expecting certain level of standards. The hotel is very, very far from the standards of a 4 start hotel. The facilities are there: restaurant, pool, etc. but the quality is not there. The bedding is from a cheap road-side motel - one sheet with dirty brown cover. The room was very, very smelly, the carpet so bad that we were afraid to step on it without schoes. The TV was from the last century. We paid for a King bed but the \"king bed\" was two single beds put together and you fall in between them... If the price is your ultimate goal, it will do for a night. After one night we moved to a better one despite prepaying for 3 nights.

Good location 2 blocks from Florida street shopping and 2 blocks from lavalle street restaurants. Nothing special out front but the area is safe, also the pool was under repair and there is no spa. But for the price and central location it was great deal.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The location was in the middle of the city, the rooms were clean, and the staff spoke English. The only thing missing was the internet access. Both my brother and I had to sit in the corner of the room or even in the hallway with our laptops to get internet access and many times we still couldn't find the server.

The internet and wifi it didnt work all and complicate in my job duties. the pool and spa show in the photos was not available in reconstruction for months. in the bathroom would not let me order them properly implements daily and without receiving them. not have room service and the bar is very basic. Cleaning can be better as the facilities. if you want something economic and just spend the night is acceptable

Reconquista Garden - Close to everything

I first stayed two days and enjoyed the hotel and its comforts. My only complaint was my room on the 6th floor had a balcony (it was winter) and the balcony door drapes moved every time the wind blew. A little cold but still comfortable. I came back 8 days later and stay in an absolutely fabulous room (514) Jaccuzzi bath and all. A GREAT DEAL FOR THE MONEY! The buffet breakfast also was better then I expected.

The hotel is very well located, with good breakfest. Its located in a central area so you have to consider the sorrounding neighborhood of central areas, wich is not the best (a lot of noise, traffic and people). If you book this hotel do not book a room faced to the street, its very noisy with buses coming and goig all the time and people talking loud in front of the hotel. The windows dont block the noise. One thing that I didnt like at all. ...because its central, the cant clean the windows of the hotel during the day.....so when you are sleeping, some times you will be surprised with a man hangin on your window cleaning it making noises.

The good side is that its central, so you are close to everything

A experiência foi rápida, estávamos só de passagens para outros destinos.
O quarto tá um pouco mal cuidado, equipamentos velhos no caso do ar condicionado e o frigobar não existe, estava só o local vazio. Como foi só pra dormir na fez falta. O café da manhã é bem simples, poderia ser melhor. O atendimento da equipe foi boa, mas pelo preço da diária esperava mais. A localização era muito boa.

Os atendentes merecem destaque pelo bom atendimento: são educados, prestativos e sempre dispostos a ajudar, o que torna a experiência mais agradável do ponto de vista humano.

No entanto, a estadia deixou a desejar em alguns aspectos importantes. A limpeza não foi satisfatória, especialmente no quarto, onde em algumas ocasiões o banheiro estava visivelmente sujo. Para um hotel dessa categoria, esse ponto é bastante preocupante.

Além disso, o café da manhã apresentou problemas recorrentes. A variedade era limitada e alguns alimentos aparentavam estar velhos, incluindo sucos com gosto de passado. Outro ponto negativo foi a falta de organização e higiene, já que talheres e pratos sujos estavam misturados com os limpos, o que compromete a experiência e gera desconforto ao hóspede.

Em resumo, o Hotel HR Esmeralda tem potencial devido à ótima localização e ao bom atendimento da equipe, mas precisa melhorar significativamente nos quesitos de limpeza e qualidade do café da manhã para realmente corresponder ao padrão esperado de um hotel 4 estrelas.

Hotel que se denomina 4*, mas está longe de ser. Café da manhã sem variedade, muito simples e chega a enjoar. Não há nem ovos mexidos por exemplo. Boa parte dos quartos não tem cortina blackout. Se vc não consegue dormir com quartos claros evidencie na reserva. O ralo do quarto 607 saia um fedor constante. Bastaria trocar o ralo por um fechado. Não há frigobar no quarto. O hotel precisa passar por uma renovação em todos os sentidos.

No início me deu um pouquinho de medo ao ler uns comentários, porém o lugar é bem bacana não deixou a desejar o serviço de limpeza e a cordialidade dos funcionários, eles sempre muito atenciosos e solícitos. O café da manhã é bem gostoso, porém não é padrão brasileiro (nordeste) tem opções e variedades compatível com o estilo do país. Uma coisa bem bacana é o oferecimento de água fria/quente sem restrições para os hóspedes. As toalhas e lençóis estavam em ótimo estado e muito perfumados. Os quartos e corredores são bem perfumados .

Estadia de um dia para uma família de quatro pessoas. O hotel fica próximo a Rua Florida, uma pequena caminhada até o Obelisco, e a Galeria Pacífico. O café da manhã foi simples , senti falta de opções principalmente de proteínas O ar quente não estava funcionando no quarto, como só vimos a noite não chegamos a solicitar para alguém verificar, por sorte os cobertores resolveram. O banheiro não tinha exaustor.

A estadia no hotel me surpreendeu positivamente, hotel um pouco antigo, mas muito bem conservado, limpeza diária realizada, toalhas sempre limpas e com cheiro bom, acomodação simples mas muito boa! Ótima localização, próximo ao Obelisco e a Av. Corrientes. A única ressalva que faço é com relação ao café da manhã, que não há uma variedade muito grande de opções, e caso você fique hospedado muitos dias, são sempre as mesmas opções, poderiam variar mais, outra coisa que seriam um plus, apesar que não me fez falta, é um frigobar no quarto. A equipe de atendimento é prestativa e sempre disposta a auxiliar.

Endroit bien situé , souci d'isolation phonique

Hotel un peu vieillissent
Manque d'opacité des rideaux pour la nuit.
Isolation phonique faible.
Petit déjeuner classique mais quantité suffisante.
Bonne situation dans la ville à quelques mètres d'une station de métro.

La habitación era cómoda. Los días que estuvimos se arruinó el elevador y tocó subir y bajar gradas durante 2 días. Por lo demás, fue una bonita experiencia.

Séjour décevant

Salle de bain à revoir, robinetterie cassée, baignoire écaillée, pas de réfrigérateur, pas de bouilloire.
Les deux ascenseurs en panne nous obligeant à descendre avec les valises depuis le 5ème étage.
Vraiment pas digne d'un 4 étoiles !
Seul point positif : le petit déjeuner buffet bien achalandé.

La habitación con vista a los equipos de aire en un patio sucio ….. Desayuno básico …. Vajilla sucia Tuvimos que repasar las tazas nosotros mismos La atención de medio pelo para abajo No volvería
