Stayed there twice. The rooms were beautiful and well-kept. Both rooms had a jacuzzi bathtub big enough for two, and one room had a small sauna! Because of the layout you have to be comfortable with your companion as there is no separation between the bath and sleeping areas. Both rooms overlooked the street with glass sliding doors. The staff were excellent and spoke English. Security was good; you had to be buzzed in. Good location. I would stay there again!

I had a wonderful stay at CasaCalma. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff were extremely polite and friendly.
In particular, Emily was very supportive and her recommendations were super helpful. The location was great, and all the facilities, including the AC, elevator, and comfortable beds, were top-notch.
The breakfast was sufficient and met our needs. As a small suggestion, it would be nice to have complimentary water bottles in the room, although water is available for purchase.
Overall, it was a delightful experience!

Cosy great place to stay in the city.

The hotel is in a nice area and close to public services. Even if it is a hotel it was very cozy and home-like. The staff was very helpful in suggesting places to visit and restaurants to eat. The room was very clean and full of amenities like a hot tub and sauna.

Calma in Buenos Aires

We really enjoyed our stay at The CasCalma Hotel, three weeks ago. It was centrally located in Buenos Aires. The rooms are really comfortable and spacious, with a good king-size bed, good amenities in the room, including our own personal jacuzzi,in each of our rooms.
The staff were really nice and very helpful with good advice. The nature of the two rooms per floor makes you feel secure. This also creates a nice quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We got a good night's sleep because it was so quiet at night. Thank you CasaCalma from Brendan and John, from the UK.👍

So we got there and the door wasn’t working. We had to wait outside of the hotel for around two hours so they got the door to open. We asked to get another room but they were like it’s too late for that and isn’t that and I was like oh my God, we just needed to sleep so we just take it and then in the morning we went out to get breakfast. We came back so we can get our things and the door wasn’t opening again and the fact that we had took a beer on the airport at a certain time that’s why I feel like they took too long trying to open the door and it was like a whole problem so I don’t know

This hotel is one of the absolute best we have ever stayed at!! The double jacuzzi, the shower with 5 heads, the extremely comfortable bed, the amazing staff (especially Isaac who is ridiculously helpful!) and the wellness centre of it all !! We are so glad we get to come back for a couple nights, we have joked about cancelling the rest of our trip to just to stay here forever!

Very nice boutique hotel with only about 17 rooms. Staff is in front 24 hours, which is nice. They are wonderful and have excellent recommendations and can answer nearly all your questions. We Uber’ed from here to everywhere in BA and it was very fast, safe and really really reasonably priced! The Los Angelitos Tango show (just ask the front desk) was $100/per (US $ for that price) and was awesome and worth it. Breakfast is typical euro type (simple and ok). Room was very clean. After checkout, we stayed at the Hilton BA for 1 night for a “V” cruise. The Hilton is much more $$$ for a similar room. The waterfront area is $$$ for meals and has more panhandlers and I felt like I had to watch wallet more than any other area in BA. While the Hilton looks more impressive, there isn’t anything there and you’ll be going to other places to see and do things anyway. There are occasional homeless everywhere in BA but not too much to stress over, after all it is a huge city. Overall we were very happy with CasaCalma.

This hotel is quite nice with two rooms per floor. The room was lovely but not practical. The chairs were very uncomfortable. The tiles in the bathroom area were very slick if water got on them. I slipped and fell because of that. It would be nice to have USB ports in the rooms.

Decent Hotel and location

We stayed heard for 6 hours and had to leave at 2 am. Last minute stay due to flight delay of 16 hrs. The room was comfortable and nice. It had a jacuzzi that we didn’t use. Good location. Restaurants nearby. Worth the price one would pay, around $US 80. I would definitely stay again

The property is extremely centrally located…you can walk to most places which is saying a lot in Buenos Aires. The rooms are nice but what makes the property stand out is the front desk staff. Every one of them was amazing. They provided great recommendations on activities and booked several excellent tours. The most remarkable though was when we decided to go to a soccer match one night and asked for directions to give a cab driver. W Ed were in the cab when Emily, the manager, sent me a text saying that her staff had told her where we were going and she wanted to makes sure we were with a group and to be careful because it was not in a great part of town. If we got into any trouble to let them know. I thought that was above and beyond the level of service expected, and really something that can o ly be offered by an intimate hotel like Casa Calma. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

The staff were amazing. They really were the highlight of our stay. Thank you so much for your help. The area near the hotel has many restaurants and it's a nice walk down to the port area and parks during the day.

The room was OK. It needs some fresh paint and maintenance. We had issues with the shower door coming on/off track, the light above the fridge did not work, there were very faint stains on the duvet cover, and some small dark patches (mold?) starting in some corners of the ceiling.

It was like staying at your cool friend's modern flat. Loved the minimalist design of the room which made it feel more spatial. Plenty of drawers and closet space. The bathroom was so much nicer than more expensive hotels. The Rain Shower with side jets and the separate Jacuzzi made it special. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would give 5 stars across the board but there were a couple of hiccups. The airconditioning would sometimes need to be reset. It was a simple fix that did not require the staff to enter the room but happened 4 times over 5 days. The toilet mechanism had some recurring issues and the breakfast was just okay. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will stay there again when back in Buenos Aires.

Casa Calma is one of the most wonderful hotels we have ever stayed at (and we have stayed there many times). The staff is professional, competent, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to everything. We can walk to the theatre, restaurants, parks. The jacuzzi in the room is a plus for recovery from a day’s sightseeing.

Staff at the front desk were amazing -- super helpful in getting oriented, tickets, etc. Hotel room was odd -- dead vines growing outside the window, no washcloths, uncovered pitchers of water with orange slices - tasty but wondered about germs. Nice environmental touches though with full size shampoo/conditioner and no tiny plastic bottles.

Lovely Deluxe room with Jacuzzi and private Sauna. However maybe the sauna was just a gimmick as it could hardly fit 2 people in it. Staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is a bit cramp but as the waiter said “ small space but big heart”. Price is a bit ‘toppy’ for Buenos Aires but overall good experience and good location for all the tourist sights.

Stayed here twice on a 10 day holiday in Argentina.

Really fantastic hotel - rooms spacious & very comfortable. The rooms at the back are a bit quieter away from the road, but still not very noisy.

Staff are fantastic - they make you feel very welcome but not intrusive and keen to help where they can. On our return stay they had left a note & cookies welcoming us back which was a thoughtful detail.

Had breakfast one of the mornings. All quality ingredients and nicely presented.

A well-designed, contemporary boutique hotel at a very central location. It is calm indeed! (I was surprised, since we were on the 2nd floor, overlooking the street.) Their greatest asset is their young and eagerly helpful staff. Extraordinary! My only reservation is that, although the toilet and bidet are in a sort-of hidden compartment in a corner, the frosted glass door is little more than nominal. If you’re sharing the room, you might yearn for greater “toilet privacy.”

The customer service was incredible and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was also very good and the area was a nice part of town. However, the bathroom did not have any doors and this made it extremely awkward!! As you could see into the shower and tub while laying in bed! Unless you are very comfortable with your travel companions you might want to stay elsewhere. Had there been bathroom doors this hotel would’ve been a complete five star! As overall it was a nice pleasant place to stay.
