Checking in was good. Now the negative. A/C turned off second day, 3rd day family got sick and A/C not working decided to leave. Spoke to some other guests leaving stated A/C also did not work for them. Spoke to Javier for checking out and started since I booked it though hotels. Com they cannot give me a credit for the 2 days remaining, asked him why A/ C not working said customer complained so they turned it off for the whole building, so a lot of customers with no A/C. Picture of breakfast buffet is 2yrs old not what we got, deceiving! Shower flooding they came quickly to fix. Not fixed. Toilet wax from snake to fix shower. I'll include pictures. Wooden floors were distorted due to water damage hard on feet that's how I found out about not cleanliness. Trying to load pictures. Not working 😕 of floors and dirty rooms x2

The staff were wonderful that always helps when staying at a hotel. They help when we had problems with our Uber driver. They also assisted when we had issues with the TV. Friendly and quick.
The lifts are small and only fit 2 of us and our luggage. The rest of our travelling party caught a different lift. No big deal.
The breakfast room is modern and clean. The food was okay.
The room was a disappointment. It was big like in the pictures. The bathroom was not the best. We put things on the shelves and counter and they ended up stained. Its a wet area and they have painted these surfaces and the colour transfered to anything left on these services. The room is dark and tired not what we expected for a park royal. It was okay but would stay some where else if back in town.

Was dazzled by the hotel presenting a lovely cake to my son when we came down for breakfast on his birthday. All they had to go on was his date of birth during registration - wow!

We stayed for 8 nights in between Nov and Dec of 2024. The location cannot be better. You have everything you need within walking distance. I did not feel unsafe at any point (not that bad things don't happen). The staff is very professional. I wish I didn't have to pay for early check-in but the rules are the rules. We had a family room, more like a suite with two rooms and two bathrooms. The 'living room' had a pull out couch and a dining table, a fridge, microwave, dishes, cups, etc. The room was clean and modern. Comfortable beds. The TVs were a bit cumbersome to work but we were able to log into our Netflix account for the kids. The bathrooms were clean and the water had great pressure. There is a store in the corner open 24-hrs so you can always get water, snacks, beer, etc. There is a supermarket across the street as well. Plenty of restaurants in the area, bars, bakeries, etc. If you rent a car, there is Parking on the same block for $20 USD per night. In general, we couldn't be any happier. Will definitely be back.

Did not find the hotel rooms and amenities very good. Quite basic breakfast (no fruit at all) and staff was cordial but sometimes not very helpful. Rooms and gym areas should have some more thought as to providing water, towels etc.
The hotel is conveniently located in the area and quite walkable.

This hotel was conveniently located near the Obelisk and many attractions. There is also a convenience store in the corner where we were able to buy drinks and snacks each day.

The price is great and the Amabassador Suite we got had 2 tv’s, 2 microwaves, a mini fridge, 2 bathrooms… perfect for families. Sure, the bathrooms can use a bit of updating and there was a bit of a sewage smell in the shower but overall it was good.

A nice breakfast with many pastries, eggs, ham and cheese, and fruits is included. All the staff I encountered from the front desk to the breakfast room to the housekeepers were nice and helpful. They even surprised me with a little cake on my birthday.

Highly recommended!

Very good location for turistic attractions and outstanding service. Rooms with 2 bedrooms living room are a great option for families.

I asked them to help me with transportation. They tried to cheat me. We were 6 people and we were promised a private van, instead they gave us a normal cab.
We have to argue with everyone even the cab driver. Horrible experience.

Reception staff are the least helpful I have ever come across.
On two separate occasions this month, on two night stays, they have needed me to move between different rooms on each consecutive night. This hassle meant I had to pack my bags each night, check out before 11am and leave my bags at reception until 3pm when I could check into our new room. Not to mention, this is extremely unenvironmentally friendly with regards to the cleaning staff remaking every room.
I’m aware that this happened to many others staying in the hotel also.
The reception staff also weren’t sure of the time that breakfast service finished.

Ivan, the front desk concierge, was amazing. He was so thorough and friendly. In addition, his knowledge of the English language was refreshing in a different country. He provided lots of great insights to help with our trip.

Our first room which was provided was not very nice. It had a plastic shower curtain my grandma would have had. Once the issue was addressed, we were provided a new room, which was perfect.

Our only other issue was the WiFi. It was extremely slow if at all. In order to get minimal connectivity we would have to go to the lobby.

You will not like this hotel, believe me

It was the worst hotel experience i have ever had. Honestly. Since the beginning, the guy at the recepcion At check in was grumpy and didnt seem happy at all. The towels for shower at my mums room were dirty, really dirty, and so so so old that they were torn! it also had yellow stains. Of course we asked the reception to change it and it was a huge problem for the hotel, the way those grumpy guys talked to us it seemed they were doing us a big favor giving us clean towels. It would be funny if it wasnt that tragic! The bathroom was awful, dirty, old, with stains in the wall and floor, it had an old bath with a plastic curtain, which it was (of course) dirty. Really, its unbelievable. Asked the reception to change my parents room, because they could not stay in a place like that. They didnt! The rececionists were rude and said we would have to stand that. Asked for my money back so I could go to another place, it looked like a joke. One of the nights I asked for an iron to iron my clothes (no, there was no iron in the room), they took 45 minutes to take it to me. Now, the breakfast, Omg, they simply have nothinh beside crackers and sweet bread for breakfast. One artificial juice and coffee. That is it. It was better not to have breakfast, its ridiculous, a hotel that says the breakfast is include should be ashamed. There is not even one single good point about this place. Honestly, believe me, dont be there!!!!

4. They did not help with your suitcases.

Decent Hotel!

We stayed in the Hotel for 9 nights. A centrally located hotel in downtown Buenos Aires. 5 mins from the San Martin Plaza and the Pas Palace, 10 mins from Theatre Colon and other major historical sites. Very close to the bus and metro if you are intending to use them. The rooms and bathroom were clean. We had plates, cutlery, microwave and a small fridge in the room with a small table and 4 chairs. So if you are planning to pick up food and bring it in and eat in the hotel it's good. Keep in mind it's a mini fridge with a non-existent freezer.

Breakfast timings were good (7:00 am to 10:30 am) and on weekends they served till 11:00 am. The only issue was the Breakfast space was too small. There was no place to walk or even sit if more than 25 people showed up. Always missing cutlery and plates but the people working there were so friendly and nice they would be running around trying to please everyone with a smile on their faces. It was a nice hot breakfast with eggs, sausages, cereal, fruit, toast a nice and different dessert everyday. Food was good.

Hotel room was clean and basic. I've seen better rooms and more plush hotel. The sofa beds in the second bedroom were not the most comfortable but you are there to be outside and not be stuck in the room anyways.

The hotel staff at the front was very helpful and spoke English fluently which really helped us.

First the suite, nice on photos on the web, was horrible. Where the TV set was supposed to be were some cables hanging out the wall. Safety box was not working. Furniture, carpets and sanitary outdated. The rooms in the renovated floors of the hotel are small, not enough light and windows made translucent so you could not see into the small inner-patio.

There were three of us staying at the Hotel so having the Family Suite was reasonably priced and worked well. The suite included two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a big room that had a living room, dining area and kitchenette. The location was fine for our sightseeing adventures. The breakfast buffet was nice.

The staff was terrific. They were very friendly and extremely helpful.

The lobby and entrance to the hotel felt new and modern. However, the suite itself felt dated

Handy Location and Good Value.

The Park Royal Buenos Aires is in a good location (Suipacha & Santa Fe)- not too far from San Martin Plaza as well as the metro, railway and bus stations. Good shops are handy as is the Galerias Pacifico (exclusive shopping centre). It was very suitable for our needs

We liked the small kitchenette which allowed us to have some meals there - two good grocery shops within a block or two.

Good restaurants nearby.

Ideal location. The top floors have been remodeled and are beautiful. The lower floors are dated and shabby. We took the presidential suite for less than $200 per night because of the nice view over Sante Fe ave. The lobby is unimpressive. Staff was very helpful.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Plaza San Martin Suites. My room was very comfortable and provided an apartment-like feel to my week-long stay in Buenos Aires. I was there on business but had a few days to play tourist as well. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops and great sites to visit. The staff were great, very friendly, and went out of their way to help or answer any question I might have had. The kitchenette was just enough for my needs for a week-long stay. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient and safe home away from home in BsAs.

Lovely corner suite overlooking the jacaranda tree-lined intersection of Avenida Santa Fe and Suipacha, close to the San Martin Subway station and one block from the broad Avenida 9 de Julio. Very friendly, helpful staff. (They were curious about American football, and I attempted to explain the convoluted rules of a sport where no one touches the ball with their feet!) Outside the hotel entrance, there is an all-night convenience store (\"Open25Horas\") at the building's corner. The breakfast buffet was substantial (DELICIOUS coffee). I gained 5lbs during my stay (mostly from dunking the deliciously-sweet \"medialunas\" in the aformentioned coffee, and the constant barrage of sweets and cookies that shopkeepers would bring out to customers, while chatting in their shops). The kitchenette was useful, complete with pots, kettle, plates, cups and silverware (and dishwashing liquid and towels). The bath could use a little updating (plastic shower curtain on flimsy metal rings, for example). Overall, a good value for money.

No need to look further - will stay again

We were already pleased with the value, but even more so when they upgraded us from the standard suite to a one bedroom suite - nice. The king sized bed was comfy, the facilities were good and the desk staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was basic but that seems normal for Buenos Aires in this price range. The only improvements I would like to see would be a lounge or replace the hard armchairs, and an updated TV. Nevertheless, we plan to stay there again on our return trip, rather than looking elsewhere.

Good standard of hotel

The room was clean with self catering facilities as it had a small kitchen area which was a bonus. But negatively no sachets of coffee or milk were provided . Reception service was ok although a couple of the staff struggled with English but then my Spanish wasn't good either! Staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel was in a good location in the middle of the city. I did have trouble finding it after going out for a walk despite having a map as you can't see the entrance until you are on top of it but I would stop there again as it was in a good location close to Florida St and San Martin park.

Convient budget conscious accommodation

Although reception looks smart rooms are really tired and could do with a refresh. Due to the older style of the hotel rooms are huge, much bigger than any others we have encountered in Argentina. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and work hard to keep the place spotlessly clean. Breakfast was standard South American (not great).
Location is good, many sights and restaurants nearby
Overall a good base if you don't want any frills or plan to spend a lot of time in the hotel

Despite showing its age, the hotel was well maintained and very clean. The staff were efficient and friendly. The Plaza San Martin is fine if you don't want luxury accommodation. The rooms are large and the bed was comfortable. We had a jnr suite which was advertised as having cooking facilities, but with only two small burners and no pots/pans provided, it is impossible to prepare food. A small fridge is provided so you can at least keep drinks and snacks cool. Staff is helpful and they speak English. Breakfast is fine with a selection of pastries, eggs, cheese, etc. Reasonable value for the price in the middle of a large city.

Ideal for the cost conscious and self sufficient

The location is great for walk in access to the tourist areas of the city: it's just two blocks from San Martin Plaza/Park and its subway station at the end of Florida street--the main shopping district. Our room 502 had a separate bedroom, lounge-dining room, and bathroom connected via a dressing and washstand area. It also had a kitchenette equipped with a microwave oven with no cookware; 2-burner gas hob with two pots, a skillet and a kettle; sink; mini-bar fridge; cutlery and crockery for two. We had our own microwave dishes and cooked several basic meals while there. The room's decor was dated and tired, but reasonably clean. The only TV was in the bedroom, but included some English language channels. The safe was keyed, which we lost at a replacement cost of US$150--OUCH! The included buffet breakfast was no-frills, but adequate, consisting of cereal, yoghurt, juice, bread, spreads, cheese, ham, scrambled egg, tea/coffee.

Excelent area and service

This hotel is located close to \"everything\". Every employee, including the Manager, go out of their way to make you feel welcome and a couple of minor issues were resolved right away; they are slowly making improvements like new triple pane windows and new elevators. The furniture is a bit \"tired\" but the room is large, comfortable and clean. Bedding and towels new and impecable; breakfast is very good and there is plenty of food at all times. I am going back to Buenos Aires next April and plan to stay here again.

Clean Convenient Microcentre Apartment

We only stayed one night.
Staff helpful, friendly.
Room decent but initially the strong scent of air freshener suggest probable prior tobacco use in our Non Smoking room. Improved after we opened the windows to air the place. Carpet dark.
Bedroom dimly lit, not very spacious. Bed comfortable. Lounge large enough for sofa and dining table next to Small kitchenette. min utensils. Gas stove to boil water in kettle. Electric kettle would be better.
We are happy with breakfast mainly continental with steamed bread. Guest used to large American full hot breakfast will be disappointed.
Location convenient to Microcentre shopping streets (Florida, Lavalle).
Recommended it guests eat out mostly, but not if guests want to cook (eat in) with limited utensils and small fridge to store perishables.

For conveniece it can't be beat

Very friendly bi-lingual staff. Very attentive to guests and allowing access to a secure entrance in a very busy part of the city. This hotel is close to everything--monuments, shopping, subway, buses. The streets outside are noisy, but our room was quiet although there was no view as it looked into the interior of the building which meant no sun in the room. The kitchenette with refrigerator and 2 burner stove means you can keep food cold, make a cup of tea any time of day or night, etc. The furnishes were notihing special, but the older TV had worlwide cable so there was English programming as well as Italian and lots of Spanish channels. The breakfast was far above average with good croissants, cereals, yougurt, scramlbed eggs, cheese and ham and endless good coffee and tea. Very ordinary breakfast room, but lots offood and friendly staff If you want a good hotel in the middle of things, this place can't be beat. Just be aware, you are in the center of a very busy city and keep your personal items close when you are on the street. Also, be aware that there are clever thieves out and about. In Plaza de Mayo we were victims of the Squirt, when a foul grey liquid was running down our backs and a \"nice\" man and woman rushed to help us and removed items from our pockets--very cleverly as we were distracted trying to get the gunk off our clothes. Fortunately, we did not lose anything irreplaceable, and the credit card was cancelled quickly, but keep your eyes open and don't allow strangers to wipe off your clothes lest you be taken to the clearners. The hotel staff were very helpful in getting us help after the robbery in another part of the city, but these things can happen anywhere--in busy places in broad daylight. We did not suffer too badly, but beware, others have reported much bigger losses.

Plaza San Martin Suites - good location

As other reviewers have stated, the hotel itself is in need of some refurbishment.

There was scaffolding round the outside of the building, so this may be in progress, although there was no problem with noise.

The suite was large and comfortable - everything simply looked older and worn. The lobby is well appointed and the staff were exceptionally helpful and spoke excellent English.

Wifi service was good. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice of items that were replenished throughout the breakfast service.

The location was excellent, and it was an easy walk to most major tourist sites.

Recent Stay at Plaza San Martin Suites

The hotel location is perfect for sightseeing throughout the city of Buenos Aires. The overall condition of the hotel room was good and well maintained. The staff experience was also good with one exception. A companion of mine arrived early in the day on the day of check-in and despite room availability was asked to pay additional money to get into the room before the official check-in time. This was an inconvenience and a hardship due to the fact that my companion was exhausted from jet lag. The breakfast was great.

Plaza San Martin Suites in Buenos Aires

Great value for the hotel; rooms were simple but clean. Service staff was exceptional - always polite and very helpful! Very convenient location...5 blocks from Florida Ave (the pedestrian shopping street) and an excellent cafe (Desiderio) only 1 block away. Bus stops on Santa Fe and one block from the subway. I would definitely stay here again!! :)

A good place to stay

The hotel is in a good condition to meet needs of the people who are willing to pay hotel's average rate. I mean, you get what you have paid for. There are some nice restaurants nearby, a Chilean one, almost next door. Florida street, one of two pedestrian and shopping empires, is five minutes walk away. Subte, (underground) station San Martin is even closer.

location excellent-- staff very helpful

Hotel very central to main walking shopping street. From our first day until our last staff very helpful and friendly with most able to speak very good English. Front reception staff extremely customer service orientated throughout our stay.
Hotel rates we found very acceptable with a more than adequate breakfast provided within that rate.
Hotel is not new and needs minor improvements ie new power sockets in some rooms otherwise clean and tidy.
Would stay at this hotel again should i travel to Buenos Aires
