The bad: The room was a bit worn out, caulking around the bath needs to be redone and the drain cleaned.

The Good: very well located, staff was awesome, fast internet, plenty of hot water with constant temperature, good mattress, quiet, good breakfast. We had to book it very last minute because of a mishap. Good quality to price ratio.

We will never stay in this property.
We came to the hotel around 10 am
I understand that the checking time was 2 pm.
I had to be out to buy some medicine and return the car. I could not come back till 5 pm.
My was sitting there all that time.
They did not allow her to enter the room, till they are paid upfront. My wife requested that she is tired of long jorney, and told that i will pay when i am back.
They did not allow her to entet room.
I am traveling for the last 18 years. I have traveled in more than 85 countries.
This was the worst experience.

Good hotel, good staff, friendly, helpful, near to centre within 10 minutes walk, breakfast was fair considering our previous stays only gave bread and a coffee. Good satellite choice for tv once you know how to change the language to English. Downside is no ironing board, no tea facilities in room and the elevator or toilet system makes so much noise in the hall way you have to give it a few hours to adapt but minus that it's a pleasant hotel and has a safety box in room for free.

They Hotel is located in a very nice area, close to everything, 4 blocks from Downtown but better location than downtown in Barrio Norte, close to Recoleta. I had a very nice bedroom, wonderful view over the square, the bedroom was big, and I paid a very good price for the room! They shower was great! the WiFi was not working in my room! I was on the corner! I will be back!

Location as a priority

Nice decent hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel could use a few repairs, especially the elevators. However, you get more than what you pay for. Second time around, never had any incidents. If you are too picky, then look for more expensive hotels! But if you have other priorities how to spend your money, then this is the place. Breakfast is good, especially the different breads.

Great hotel location

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok wish there were more choice in breakfast foods, rooms were clean and ok for comfort. The down side to the room was that there was not many plug sockets about to charge phones etc room was cold don't think the heating was working as it was on full and some of the bulbs were out in the room. However overall the stay was pleasant, staff were lovely and the location was fantastic didn't really need to use a taxi during the day.

Great Hotel and amazing Staff - bad driver

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Bisonte. It was our first time in Buenos Aires and this hotel plus their staff made our trip very pleasent. We'd like to specially thank the night front desk staff - Diego. He gave us great ideas about things to do in Buenos Aires and every night He recommended us an amazing restaurant for dinner! Thank you Diego :)
The only bad experince we had with the hotel is their private car service they offer to take you to the airport. They advertise it at the front desk for a fixed price and once we got to the airport the driver asked for more money and he refused to receive less (very angry) We did not want to argue with him so we paid the higher price. We did not like how this driver treated us and Hotel Bisonte should do something about it.

Good service but a day means 19 hours

This hotel has a good service (something not expected once I have stayed in Buenos Aires sometimes and all services in general are so bad because men aren't polite). I have only 1 complaint, when I did my check-in I was advised that check-in starts 03:00pm but checkout ends 10:00am. There is no make any sense once a \"day\" in buenos aires means 19 hours.

The hotel ok..the wifi is really really bad and the breakfast and coffee were bad.the staff were nice and helpful and it was clean.so I guess its management or the owners just been cheap. There is a great little bakery a block away ..good for breakfast.

Some odd or out-of-date policies/conditions limit rating: silly fee for wi-fi, check-out at 10am, soap/shampoo dispensers that are clearly not cleaned regurlarly enough and give a hint of a lack of higiene. Otherwise a reasonably good stay.

Very nice location

The room is just fine, but the hotel location is the best at Buenos Aires. Do not miss two of the best restorants in the city, El Cuartito y Norte, in the same block. You can walk from the hotel to most of the principal places to visit in Buenos Aires.

Don't bother with this one

The service in general is poor, the room I stayed in on the 4th floor must have had the thinnest walls ever as I could hear everything from nearby rooms as well as the street quite loudly which really affected my sleep quality. On top of that, the staff is non-helpful (they couldn't even recommend proper restaurants or bars int he area I could check out - I had to do the research on my own) and there is no breakfast offered. They try and throw extra charges at you like wifi etc when the booking clearly mentioned it was complimentary. The area is central enough and the exterior of the hotel looks far better than the interior, so don't let that dupe you into staying here - you're better off elsewhere.

Really good choice in a great location

Central location a block from 8 de Julio and bus lines. Staff very helpful during our four day stay. Room was clean and beds comfortable, shower with good pressure and enough hot water. Expedia rate was very attractive, but be careful to find out if breakfast and wi-fi are included. We returned for one night at a remarkably low rate, but were disappointed to find that the rate did not include wi-fi.

Cheap hotel means low standards everywhere. The front desk were extremely rude, for instance, I lined up patiently for my turn as to not be rude demanding service. The time went from 5 to 20 mins however I still waited patiently. At this point another patron (young female ) lined up behind me. And than the agent completely walked by me as if I was a pillon and helped the lady behind me. I was shocked. Nevertheless I just gave up waiting and didn't bother asking my original question which was if the hotel does laundry. One of many awful stories. But again cheap hotel so it doesn't really surprise me. Stay if it's a last measure.

Average hotel, not 3.5 Star

I stayed in Bisonte Libertad because it was conveniently located, close to the Obelisco and you have nice streets around with nice coffee places, restaurants (Italian food mainly). I didn't like the service provided by some of the personnel, one of them was looking bored and not smily at all when I first arrived. I had an issue with my key when I took my room, I had to go downstairs twice (no phone in floors) to finally change my room cause the lock of the door wasn't working properly, apparently it wasn't a surprise to them (so why sending me there at the 1st place...?!), the bathroom was alright but there was no ventilation :O ! The overall room looked old but not uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel for people who like to have a minimum of comfort and service. I will not stay there again because the service wasn't good enough for a 3.5 star hotel and breakfast was ok as well (fake orange juice and eggs with ham only - I don't eat pork).

A great deal if you get a discounted rate.

I stayed at 5 different hotels in B.A. that showed up on the first page when I sorted the search by price, low to high. Some were horrible, but this one was excellent. I would never pay the price they claim is the ¨regular¨ one, but it was a bargain at the discount. Comfy bed, nice TV, great staff, two (slow and crappy) computers in lobby, nice location, good breakfast. The only serious problem was the way the central air conditioning makes noise travel between rooms. I had some crybaby neighbors who complained that my T.V. was too ¨loud¨ at only 12% volume... that after they woke me up the morning before with their hollering at 7 AM. It gave me great pleasure to raise the volume to 20% and pass out. I woke up to the sissies kicking the wall, which made me smile. The desk clerks mentioned it when I checked out, but were really nice and understanding. So, if they complain on here, disregard them.

Outstanding location!

Dazzler Libertad is situated in an strategic position to enjoy walking the metro area. The staff is outstanding in all respects. For the price, the rooms are small, the bath towels should be replaced, Kleenex box added and a little more emphasis in cleanliness. Although breakfast is until 1030 not all the food/drinks are replenished.

Located in the center, but blocks away from the craziness of the touristic places, the hotel seems to be a good choice for a short stay. Rooms can be small, but still enough for a good sleep. The hotel needs some refurbishments, and to get rid of the old tv sets. Breakfast is OK, wireless connection works with some minor issues, and the staff of the hotel are ok

Many better options in Buenos Aires

The service and location of the hotel were fine. The hotel itself was terrible--lots of street noise all night, the room smelled so strongly of cleaning products that I had to leave the window open, and the rooms are in serious need of complete renovation. There are many better options in Buenos Aires for not much more money.

Walking distance to many major attractions in BA. These include the Oblisk, Plaza del Mayo, Casa Rosada, Evita's tomb, etc.

Breakfast was pretty basic and hotel has no bar or dinning room, but there are many nearby eateries and watering holes.

Staff will bend over backwards to help

We had a cancelled flight and lost luggage to contend with on the way to Buenos Aires. We were to stay a night in this hotel before getting on a 14-day cruise the next day. Even though we checked in the morning after the night we were to stay there, the staff did all they could to help us recover, clean up, provided directions on where to go shopping for clothes to wear on this cruise, since our bags were lost. In short, the hotel itself was fine - clean, safe, and comfortable - but it was the front desk staff that went out of their way to help us make the best of a rough situation.

Very basic

The hotel has a very good location in a nice neighborhood close to many touristic locations. The staff at the reception and concierge desk do not always provide accurate information concerning bus timings and opening hours of museum’s and various sights. The hotel is very basic but serves a nice breakfast in the morning. The mayor down part is the rooms who are extremely small without any comfort. Many lights in the room and the mini bar did not function and were not even fixed during our stay even after addressing the problem to the front desk.

Personalmente mi aspettavo qualcosa in più dalla stanza, però non conoscendo lo standard della zona non saprei confrontare. Peccato per la notte passata senza climatizzatore per un problema tecnico, che è stata veramente tosta, risolto comunque il giorno dopo, però su un soggiorno breve un po’ influisce. Detto questo esperienza sicuramente positiva!

Localização excelente, bom atendimento da equipe, principalmente dos dois rapazes jovens que ficam na portaria recepcionando os clientes (atendimento excepcional). Porém, o quarto tem instalações que precisam de reforma, vaso sanitário com vazamento, mesmo colocando aviso de não incomodar na porta de lado de fora pela manhã, ligam para o quarto pressionando para liberar para limpeza e café da manhã muito fraco.

La habitación estándar requiere mejor mantenimiento. El baño estaba averiado. Me tocó usar la papelera como balde para echar el agua. las paredes un poco deterioradas.
La atención del lobby podría mejorar, deberían ser más amables.
El desayuno estaba regular (debería haber más variedad en productos).
El hotel está bien ubicado. La zona es tranquila y segura.

Internet não funcionou nenhum dia, as camareiras não colocavam shampoo e nem sabonete no quarto.
Fui tomar café 6:50 da manhã e uma funcionará chamada Maria Eugênia foi super grossa dizendo que não podia pegar nada lá mesmo o café já estando todo na mesa e tomando o croissant da minha mão, em outros dias varias pessoas chegavam depois do término do café que é as 10:00 e se serviam normalmente, infelizmente não foi agradável a atitude dela. Não recomendo e não retorno.

A localização é ótima. Parte das instalações, também. O local do café da manhã é muito interessante. Contudo os apartamentosl precisariam ser melhor cuidados no sentido da qualidade dos ambientes.

Muita atenção!

Terrível atendimento,são muito estúpidos (atendentes, garçons).Café da manhã bem ruim com pães duros ,e poucas outras coisas, que geralmente demoravam para repor. Proibiram de entrar com uns doces que havíamos comprado, disseram que era norma do hotel, nós não sabíamos. Na saída mandaram assinar a concordância da norma que deveria ter sido assinada na entrada.Quarto bem sujo, camas caindo aos pedaços, banheiro sujo....Enfim. Muito ruim. Não recomendo a ninguém

La verdad tengo que decir que no estuvimos cómodos. Cuando llegamos, nos recordamos para descansar y al rato comenzamos a sentir que algo nos caminaba por el cuerpo. Eran garrapatas. Nos queríamos ir...
Llamamos a la recepción, verificaron la existencia de \"bichos\" y nos cambiaron a otra habitación. Nunca nos pidieron disculpas.
La verdad, no vuelvo.
