Initially upon checking in there was good communication about which room we were in and how to get in with the QR codes. After that communication ended. I tried emailing and calling the numbers I had with no response. We also tried using the hot tub on the top floor but doors were locked, we couldn’t find a way to request access for anything upstairs. The room was decent but nothing special. We were really hoping to get late check out or even just leave our bags with a front desk but because there was never anyone at the front desk or that returned my messages - we ended up having to pay for storage at a facility for part of the day. I think this is more of an apartment building than a hotel at this point. The area outside of here was ok and walkable but I’d prob stay somewhere else if I visited again.

Ideal location

Flaat Ricoleta is located across the street from a charming park in the heart of the Ricoleta district. This is an upscale neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and trees. A perfect location.

The flats are newly remodeled in an older building in which the front facade has been retained. The flats are sufficiently spacious for one person. It would be tight for two.

Unfortunately, the flat has extremely cheap, even cheesy, furniture and dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. There are only two of everything, and they are of the cheapest possible design and construction/fabrication. They do essentially nothing to make the guests feel at home. For example, even the salt and pepper shakers were empty. The table and all chairs were very uncomfortable. The bed was fine. There are insufficient drawers and essentially no closets.

The employees are very helpful and spoke some English.

The place is advertised as an hotel but in fact it is an Airbn. They make you sign a rental contract at your arrival. No service whatsoever, only a weekly cleaning
AC was down for our entire stay and nothing was done to repair it in spite of our multiple requests
Water boiler had a leak and a bucket under it, nobody tells you to empty the bucket daily or otherwise you have water all over the floor

Loved the location. Loved the price. However, what made it inexpensive was the a la carte room service. I was more than happy to save tge price and forgo the fresh towels and sheets every day.

AC unit for the room was too small to properly heat and cool it. Was hot during the day and cold at night.

There was a cockroach infestation in the kitchen on our suite, was saw the cockroaches come out in search of food. We were on the ground floor.

Don't stay in the apt between the elevators

I had a room at the ground level, between the elevators. There was constant noise both from the functioning of the elevators and from the people coming in and out of them.

The best place I stayed on this trip. Just excellent. Both ladies at reception were delightful & very helpful. Totally pleasant. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Super efficient, clean, quiet.

Well located but short hours of usage.

The hotel is located in Recolleta in a very nice street not far from the main upscale tourist center. The building is a bit dark but nice and the flat is clean. The hours of usage (3pm to 10am) are short.

Nice apartment hotel.

The apartment was a pleasant surprise. It's a relatively new building. Stores, supermercado around the corner. It's in front of a beautiful park. A bit far from the metro station, but buses are close by if you can figure out how to use them. Besides taxis are inexpensive, compared to the US.

It is a pity. The location is excellent and the building is beautiful. They preserved the original French style facade and built a modern building behind, which is something you do not see too often in Buenos Aires.
The units is nice and comfortable, we got an upgraded unit with an ample terrace looking to Vicente Lopez Park, which is the park where I spent my childhood.
This was the good things.
Now the bad ones: we arrived and they told us we needed to wait until 3 PM for check in, which was ok because Expedia mentioned this in their site. We came back at 4.45 and the room was not done yet, although our luggage was already inside the room. I waited until 6 PM before they came to clean it.
The safe bock was locked with the key inside (for some weird reason they are not using the electronic lock: \" because the batteries drain often\" ?!?
It took them 4 days to bring a new one, because they could never open the original. It was kind of lame, because the new one was not attached to the wall, but it was better than nothing.
The sun starts heating the room at sunset, and after 8 AM it was impossible to keep sleeping because it was scorching. The AC system is not strong enough to cool down. Fortunately the sun does not heat this room during the afternoon, so by the time we get back to sleep it was bearable. But this was November, I cannot imagine how hot will be in January when the city temperature raises to almost 100 F

Great apartment hotel in city center

The location is perfect with at least 4-5 supermarkets within 5 minute walk. The closest Metro station is also around 5-7 minute walk away. The room is spacious and clean with big balcony. Front desk reception is only open from 9am to 5pm! The only drawback is there are many mosquitoes in the hotel even during daytime so we cannot use the balcony or open the door frequently for fresh air...being afraid more mosquitoes will get inside the room! Mosquitoes seem to be a problem everywhere we go in Buenos Aires...in restaurants or bars during daytime even!

It is alright.

We stayed for 6 days and they did not clean the room not even once. The bathroom smells terrible as it has a problem with the tubes. We paid for three people and they gave us 3 towels and wanted to charge us more if we wanted them changed same with the toilet paper. Thankfully we spoke with the manager and she agreeded on making an exception for us. So they gave us one more roll of toilet paper and a set of towels.

POOR , not good cleaning, floor unit dirty

The Unit is terrible dirty and poor condition, only 1 towel for persons, ant and more insect..AND spot on the pillow when arrive and take the unit ..On the kitchen , all is dirty and grease terrible ., coffe machine dirty , belive me , I trip for all word , and is my first trip , to writh this letter with this speech !! I recommend NEVER TAKE THIS FLAT RECOLETA, IS POOR ALL, SERVICE BAD, APARTMENT POOR AND THE CONDITION IS VERY LOWER FOR THE PRICE , I CONSIDERER ONLY 1 STAR..NOT AIR CONDITIONER , AND HOT , TOO MUCH HUMEDITY .wall unit dirty, no paint , spot around all apartment , tile floor in terrible condition,.,,..I RECOMEND DONT RESERVE THIS FLAT RECOLETA APART HOTEL, IS POOR , DIRTY , ...FOR THIS PRICE , YOU HAVE MORE UNIT IN BETTER CONDITION... Almost no staff support

I was worried after reading about other's reviews about lacking staff support. And I asked the booking agency to contact them about our late checkin (around 7pm is actually not too late) and to make sure someone will be there when we arrive. And also asked about leaving out bags there until 4pm after we check out in the morning. So there is someone there when we arrived at 7pm. But the next morning, there was no one there for checking out around 9am. We need to go to a bike tour so we had to leave by 9am. Since no one was there, we had to just leave the key at the front desk. And carried all our bags with us. Fortunately the tour agent agreed to store our bags in their office for the entire day even after the tour. We wanted to use the washing machine, but there is no way to get coins to use it. No shops around can give changes in coins.

Room average, floors dirty, room is cleaned once a week, recepcionist not very clear and unvailable most of the time, no telephone in the room , nor way to comunicate with reception. check in time between 3 pm and 5 pmonly , very difficult if your trip is short and you'll be carrying your luggage al over the city if you happen to arrive early . check out during weekend ... impossible because there's nobody at reception.

am writing this review following an extremely disappointing experience with this hotel. The online check-in system is simply not operational. I spent several hours trying to obtain the access codes, sending messages that received replies only after long delays, sometimes hours, and with phone numbers that did not work. There is no written procedure explaining how to retrieve the codes, and no clear instructions from the hotel at all.

Access to the room required payment of a small tourist tax, yet the hotel’s system to process this payment repeatedly failed. Without payment, no code could be generated — and even after many attempts, the system was still full of bugs. When I finally received a code, it was incorrect. I arrived around 10:30 p.m., waited for hours without assistance, and ended up having to find and pay for another hotel at the very last minute.

My partner, who reached the hotel earlier, was also left waiting outside for hours, late at night, in Buenos Aires — a situation that was both stressful and unsafe. We requested reimbursement for the additional night we had to book elsewhere, but the hotel has not responded to this day.

This experience was unacceptable. A hotel that does not ensure basic access, communication, or guest safety cannot be considered reliable. I am now seeking legal action to recover the losses caused by this negligence.

No brindan servicio de Apart-Hotel. No existe atención ni recepción. Solo un conserje virtual. Me asignaron una habitación en 1er piso, el ascensor no funcionaba y el acceso era por escalera de servicio, oscura y sucia. El primer día la atención fue por e-mail, muy irregular. Luego de reclamar por un problema en la rodilla, me cambiaron de habitación a PB. No elegí un departamento, elegí un apart-hotel.

Um lugar excelente

O apartamento é super bem localizado, em um bairro tranquilo, mas possível ir a pé a vários pontos turísticos de interesse. Também é uma região com muitos cafés, restaurantes e mercados. O apartamento é bem equipado e tem serviço de limpeza. Nossa experiência foi ótima. Voltaria a me hospedar lá.

Contrate un servicio para 3 personas.
El check in era a partir de las 15 y la cama no estaba hecha.
Mi hija dirmia en un sillon q no se hacia cama.
Pedi una almohada como la gente y me dijeron q no había.
Pedi 1 toalla.mas porque me dieron 2 y me la negaron.
Nunca cambiaron toallones.
Estuve alojada 3 dias y nunca limpiaron el departamento.
El agua caliente es por termotanque pequeño. Para ducharse habia q esperar un buen tiempo q calentara el agua.

La cama en vez de tener sábana ajustable, tenía dos sábanas de 1 plazas superpuestas y no tenia cubrecolchon. La kitcknet no tenia esponja ni detergente tampoco escurridor de platos. Tampoco un basurero. El acero de la alzada estaba muy sucio.
No tiene servicio de limpieza diario.
En el balcón hay dos sillas pero ninguna mesa donde apoyar un vaso siquiera.
