Hotel is centrally located, bedrooms are basic but clean and quiet, front desk was very professional and helpful. they served a complementary breakfast, and helped us with local tours options to the falls to both sides, Argentina and Brazil, definitely very recommended for a budget trip

Very good hotel at an excellent location. Kiara and Rocio are excellent receptionists. Our big room was very comfortable and was cleaned every day. The only problem was that Internet was too slow. My wife and I were very happy and will be back at this hotel in the near future.

I had a studio apartment on the top floor with a long balcony overlooking Callao Street. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished though a small coffee table and more comfortable lounge chairs would have improved this. I spent 8 nights here. The one downside is that the laundry room backs on to this unit and can be heard throughout the middle of the night. Take ear plugs. I'm not sure what the towel policy is. Initially they were replaced and bed made, then last few days this didn't occur. There is one staff member rostered at front desk downstairs who are friendly but some have limited English (use translator). The location is superb and despite the couple of negatives it was good value.

The property is so ideally located. You can walk to all of the major tourist sites in Buenos Aires. Barrio Norte is such a beautiful part of the city!

Professional service, love the location as it was near restaurants, stores, and many forms of transportation. The place itself has connections to many tours and the tour buses so I did not have to go anywhere else. I highly recommend the place. Rocio was amazing.

This is a very simple accommodation, no common spaces at all, the reception is on a narrow entrance corridor, the Staff is limited to a single person at that counter. But it is well located and the price is right

The security guys at night were very helpfull, the only surprised was the check out is to early (10am), and they ask to pay $20 extra to extend the stay 2 hours more, but not a good deal. I will recommend to stay in this easy area and affordable place.

Amazing value for a centrally located apartment; plenty of space, a great balcony and a table, chairs, basic kitchen facilities and serviced everyday. Staff very helpful. Around 10-15 minutes walk to Avenida Corrientes and a subte (metro) station nearby. Would defiantly stay there again

It is a small kind of apartment but not stove nor pot nor pans nor utensils for cooking , in other words kitchenette is poor …. You can only use microwave and it make our staying more expensive. We could not cook and we had to spent in meals outside . Supposedly breakfast was included, but is is only one coffee and two croissants outside premises and in other block far away .
They said they can not offer stove because the electricity system does not resist it . They don’t have concierge and the reception in under the stairs for second floor. We did had to pay extra taxes that we were not informed .

The location is exceptional. I was able to walk to every major tourist site and La Boca was a short cab ride away. There are also many good dining options super duper close. The staff was always friendly and eager to help (changing currency at a better rate than any back or ATM, arranging a private car to the airport). I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to BA! Very highly recommended!

I do not recommend this hotel

The apartment is comfortable, however, there were several issues with my stay. The receptionist Silvana, was sometimes rude and unpolite which made my stay a bit umcofortable. The room had the following issues: tv control remote was not working, there is almost no light at night, radio with a broken antenna, not well equipped (1 fork, 1 spoon and 1 knife). I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Power Out, Moved to a Hotel 2 blocks Away

Electrical power was out at Callao Suites. Moved to another property, two blocks away called San Diego Apartments. Place was decent, except it was located adjacent to a night club with loud music, from about midnight, until 4 AM. No sleep until the loud music stopped. DO NOT STAY there on weekends, unless you stay out until 4 am.

Unfriendly Staff needs to be retrained that they work in the “Hospitality” Industry.
I have visited Buenos Aires more than a dozen times and a couple of times with my wife.Unfortunately the unprofessional attitude of Callao Suites staff in Buenos Aires is unacceptable and next time I will go to some place else for dancing Tango, i.e. Madrid Spain or Rome, Italy to dance Tango or within the US cities.

The room we booked for 5 nights featured a balcony, the hotel management rudely told us that they had no reason to respect the reservation. The hotel is not child-friendly, there is no stroller access at the entrance nor it fits the elevator. A flat TV on the top of a drawer with wheels made it a risky place for a toddler. The room was boiling hot and if for health reasons you don't want to use the air-con, there is nothing to do about. There were balls of dust hanging under the furniture and insects under the skirting board. The demand of the hotel management to have your credit card security codes was just unheard of. Buenos Aires is full of warm and kind people, they just don't work in this hotel.

Last day of my visit, the electricity went out from 8:00am and we never received any info from customer service. The front desk staff in the am was not very nice and helpful with the execption of Silvana. There was another blonde young girl that was rude with no customer service skills ! Silvana was sorry for the inconveince and we did not receive any customer compensation. We left not feeling satisfied.

You have to keep same sheets for a week, towels every 2 days. The staff at night is not very friendly. Every time I said \"thank you\" I never hear \"you are welcome\" or something similar. Very rude.

Great neighborhood and Attractive Efficiency Apt.

The check-in was smooth and easy. The apartment was quiet, nicely appointed and had a large balcony overlooking the city. It was clean, comfortable and had a small kitchenette, bathroom with bidet and great water pressure in the tub/shower. The AC worked perfectly during the very warm week.

My experience was not good. The check in was painful after traveling more than 15 hours from Canada.
The towels are changed daily, and the room is not cleaned in holidays.
I would never return to this hotel.

I found the Callao Suites conveniently located in a great area of Buenos Aires. Most attractions are within walking distance and the location is also well served with public buses, subway and taxis are readily available. The rooms are well prepared, bathrooms are nicely presented and towels and linens of good quality. Kitchenette is adequately equipped with cook top, microwave and kettle. Well presented place settings, glasses and cutlery.
At first I had room location issues for a lengthily stay, however staff were very professional and accommodated my needs as quickly and as efficiently as possible. I appreciated their show of concern to please.
There is no on site laundry which would be a plus but the referred nearby laundry was efficient, politely staffed and reasonably priced. Off site breakfast of orange juice, coffee and croissants was close by and provided additional menu options. Over all my 4-week stay at Callao Suites was most enjoyable. The security personal were friendly and staff professional. Thank you.

Close to Callao and Santa Fe av. which are two of the main streets, which makes it easy to grab a taxi or other public transportation, (subway included) you have a lot of restaurants around (a starbucks right across the street). They give you breakfast vouchers to use in a cafe nearby. Room and bathroom very clean, flat HD TV, balcony. Overall a good experience.

We paid $US40 a day on a 16-day trip so our evaluation is based on this very good price. Good location in Recolata, close to Santa Fee. Staff very helpful for advices, reserving taxis and for printing our documents like boarding passes. Kitchen very basic, but we were not there for cooking. If someone is not looking for a luxury apartment it is a good choice for the price paid.

Great choice in Buenos Aires

Loved this hotel, it is a great location close to all you need in Buenos Aires. The rooms are like studio apartments and very comfortable. Only thing they don't have is a coffee machine! But you do have a microwave, fridge, etc. I stayed there twice and would do it again a million times. The only complaint is that the bathroom could be cleaned better, it really wasn't up to the standards of everything else (not bad at all but i did find some dirty spot that should not have been there...). With that said breakfast across the street is excellent and they even let you have it as an afternoon snack if you want. Now this is an argentine breakfast, 3 croissants, a coffee or tea and a little orange juice (may leave an american very disappointed but this is truly what we have for breakfast!). Overall this is an excellent choice if you are staying in Buenos Aires. It is like being in your own apt with security and wake up calls! I highly recommend it

Great location, in a busy part of the city with cafes, shops, subway in walking distance. Quieter at night (after 12am) but I never felt unsafe in the area. Staff is friendly and attentive, just be polite and you'll get the same back. Worst feature is the mundane breakfast - you get a voucher to go to a local chain cafe, which is fine once or twice, but you'll want to go elsewhere after that (good choices abound so it's no big deal). I'd stay here again.

Our stay was a great experience, staff most helpful, room good also facilities. It is in a busy street so can be a little noisy but then it's a big city. Supermarket just around the corner in Av Sante Fe
where you can purchase anything you need at any time.
Comfortable bed and very nice Continental breakfast in cafe.
Would highly recommend this hotel as great value for money.

Apartamento super espaçoso e confortável! Só senti falta de um edredom, só tinha mantinha disponível. A chaleira não funcionou, mas o frigobar e o microondas funcionaram bem. As tomadas tb eram boas, nem precisou de adaptador. Ficamos 1 dia sem energia elétrica, tivemos que descer 12 andares de escada kkk sorte que não foi no dia de check in ou check out e ter que fazer isso com malas. Lá não tem café da manhã e nem ofereceram nenhuma opção de café da manhã. O apartamento tem utensílios, mas não tem nada de consumo básico como sal e açúcar. Localização mto boa! Apesar de estar em uma avenida movimentada a acústica é ótima e o quarto fica bem silencioso.

Localização excelente, perto de atrações turísticas, cafés, restaurantes e lojas. A cama de casal são duas de solteiro unidas, então afunda no meio e não é muito bom para as costas. O apartamento q fiquei cheirava a tinta fresca, o que me incomodou um pouco já que sou alérgica. Os Funcionários são gentis. Apenas no último dia a funcionária Kelly cobrou um cartão extra de abertura de porta da minha amiga, que ela nunca solicitou. Isso trouxe um aborrecimento desnecessário no final da estadia. No mais tudo foi bom. Recomendo esse apart hotel e me hospedaria novamente.

O hotel é muito bom, limpo e tem uma ótima localização. Mas não vale a pena pagar a mais pelo café da manhã, pois o mesmo não é servido no hotel. Eles oferecem um voucher de uma cafeteria próxima e o que é servido no café da manhã, são 2 croassant pequenos (sem nada) e um café com leite ou chocolate. Se você quiser um suco, por exemplo, você precisa pagar a parte e é bem caro.

El lugar tiene una ubicación excelente, es práctico, bien aprovechado el espacio y muy limpio.
La atención fue buena, amable y eficaz.
La suite contaba con los elementos necesarios.
Para una estancia corta es una excelente opción. Mi único comentario es que los colchones de las camas individuales estuvieron muy blandos, se hundían.
