Love the area. Rooms are nice but warm, even with the air turned down as low as it could go. Walls and floors must be thin because you can hear doors opening and closing and chairs scooting on floors.

No TV in living room, no oven mitts, slider did not lock, no toilet paper. only two towels, no sheets for pull out sofa, bug in bed, sleeper sofa pull out was broke. And we couldn't even get a late check out. Otherwise, it was perfect! :) Sorry no referrals from this customer. Just a good location.

This property is walkable: close to a mall, restaurants, and interesting sites.
The address given does not have anyone at the desk inside and is the door to enter is locked. The actual entrance is 2 doors down the street but there is no indication of this given. The apartment is comfortable with a kitchen and dining area. The AC cooled efficiently. The living room has a sleep sofa that looks like something that was dragged in from a garbage dump. It was so filthy and stained that I wouldn't even touch it, much less use it to sit or sleep. The ceiling in the bedroom had cobwebs on it. The safety bar in the shower is falling off the wall. Despite the positives I would not recommend this property to anyone!

A week in Buenos Aires

Great staff, especially Julie and Xavier, thank you. Excellent location. We were very comfortable for a week BUT the overall condition of the property was not as good or as high quality as we expected: eg double bed but only one bedside table and lamp; no laundry facilities; we were able to borrow an iron but no board; the sliding glass door to the over bath shower was coming out of its tracking; only four hangers…..it could have been better internally in terms of condition but as I say, staff and location all excellent. Our room had a balcony overlooking the famous cemetery so that made up for a lot. And our only problem was early our first morning the aircon unit, above our bed, emptied its water reservoir over us - it was fixed and the mattress replaced very efficiently so again, excellent staff and service

Good location but the room itself was in pretty bad condition and keep in mind it overlooks a very busy and noisy street. I had planned to spend a romantic evening there with a friend but this is not that kind of place. The shower pressure was great, though. The kitchen desperately needs cookware

Although I had a rocky start at check-in, the manager Emilio did his best to make up for it. And I was grateful for that. I loved my terrace room. And enjoyed the view over Recoleta cemetery. The building was very secure. The room cleaning staff were also very pleasant. I had a great stay. Thanks for making my stay accommodating to Emilio and his staff.

What a fabulous place to stay! The view from the 8th floor over Recoleta is just breathtaking. Spacious, bright, clean and airy, it felt like our own place. Everything you need in the kitchen, very comfortable. We were booked in for 7 nights but reluctantly had to leave the country due to coronavirus, so only stayed 2. There is little maid service, for a 7 night stay, they said we could choose one service. Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony at sunset. It will be where I choose to stay next visit. For sure.

If you’re torn on where to stay, don’t be.

I was torn between stay on Av 9 de Julio at the obelisk or Recoleta. Man am I glad I chose CH Recoleta (Cyan Hotels)! After lots of walking in the area of the obelisk, I found it to be loud (cars and car horns) and every bit of big city busyness confines to the sidewalk due to traffic with little green space.

The are around CH Recoleta is completely kick back and casual with people having picnics on the grass in the large green spaces/parks in the area. Steps from the cemetery and less than 5 min walk to lots of other major attractions (Museums & the famous metal Flower). Just steps to hop-on hop-off bus stop (of you two options, the red bus seemed to be a little more efficient than the yellow bus), tons of cafes/restaurants and a decent sized (and very clean) mall. The immediate area of the hotel comes alive at night. Lots of friendly people enjoying an adult beverage, a nice meal & socializing with friends and visitors. I never once felt unsafe in the area, even when walking around at midnight or later.

The hotel: It’s in a very old building (I’m assuming) so there are some areas that look old & dusty. Not many, just here & there. The lobby had controlled access which I liked and was tidy and updated. Staff was great. Patient & helpful. All the employees I talked to (4 people) spoke very good English. I booked the suite side of the hotel (simply because it was a little cheaper-go figure). The room was huge, clean, & comfortable.

Don’t hesitate to book this hotel.

simple no frills hotel great location

The price is great for this no frills hotel in a great location in a great neighborhood. Restaurantt right next door, a mall at the corner, historical cemetery right across the street, friendly staff.
i see the negative reviews about how daily cleaning service isn't included. Well, that's how the price is so low. It's not terribly difficult to hang up your towels after showering and making your own bed...i don't know how these people survive at home? Let me think- do i want the extra vacation money for food and drinks or new towels every day? Some people are too picky.... super good value for the money!

I stayed 5 nights and would definitely stay there again. My studio apartment on level 4 overlooks the famous Recoleta Cemetery amid the classy Parisian suburb of Buenos Aires. A great central location. The studio is spacious. The only drawback is the noise outside of people enjoying themselves. But sleeping with earplugs solved that issue.

They sent us to the suites building, it’s has lovely balcony, but no internet at all it just didn’t work, I was on a bussines trip and internet is a big g deal, I had to go to the bar down stairs to work, because it has internet.
The tv wasn’t even installed, it was on the desk far away from the bed, Imposible to watch TV While you are resting, of course forget about Netflix, no internet at all.

Great location. Overall I liked the place, but it was the little things that didn't merit a higher review like having to call the front desk to sort out the safe (just put written instructions next to the safe) or not getting the AC to work (opened windows) Bathroom was a bit tired, but I would stay there again.

This hotel is a great location for seeing the city. It is close to the port and many of the local attractions- the Recoleta Cemetery is right next door.
The staff were very helpful. The breakfast provided at the hotel was one of the better ones that we have seen. The rooms were a little tired but very clean and spacious.
The only caution would be for light sleepers. The rooms open to the streets and court yards get lots of noise from the restaurants at street level and the night life in Buenos Aires is alive and well.

Nice location, just in front of Recoleta Cementery, good restaurants around, walk distance from El Ateneo (biggest library in L. America). Nice bed and shower, small kitchen allow preparation of some food.
The room I stayed is in a separate building as an apartment so you can have complete privacy. Good place to stay in Recoleta area.

The Worst service/staff- I do NOT recommend at all

We had so many problems in this hotel during our stay that is not possible to describe all of them in a few lines.
I tried to talk to the manager for 4 different times but he was never there.
In the room: lights not working, broken window, broken shower box, no hot water to take a shower. Bad cleaning of the room / dirty floor.
In the building: part of the building under repair, and the noise was terrible since early morning and one night loud noise even during the night (until 11pm).
Service and Staff: Hotel Staff walked us up Before the time we asked for 3 consecutive days! In the 3rd day the staff walked us up 1h40min before the time we asked!! And even after we complained about it the day before (and they said that it wouldn't happen again) they waked us up 1h40min before! This same day at night I asked in the front desk: Did you solved this problem? You won't walk us up early morning tomorrow, right? And the bad answer: We will wake you up at 7h30. -But we asked to wake us up at 9h! Why you never solve this problem? And they keep being unpolite.
Staff was always unpolite and had a sulk mood in all the times we talked to them. Even with so many problems, they was always threating us with unpolite and we had to prove so many times the problems we were having. Absurd!
In the checkout (after a week having problems) I asked to keep our luggage- My luggage has a tripadvisor tag- and just after they saw it, they started threating us better!! I couldn't believe in that!

Excellent, economical hotel in a great location!

Excellent accommodations for 4 people in a very spacious suite- with a kitchen! Continental breakfast delivered every morning. Suites in a prime location across from Evita Peron burial site. Also, one of the big weekend markets is down the street. Centrally located by the bus lines, tour bus, and shopping. A great find!

Já vi comentários negativos mas não foi o meu caso, mas precisa se atentar ao que busca, pedi uma unidade em um andar alto e de frente ao cemitério, e fui prontamente atendido, o contato do lugar (Leandro) me ajudou em tudo que precisei inclusive guardou minhas malas após a estadia até o horário de ir para Ezeiza, o quarto é perfeito, bem equipado, geladeira, fogão, TV, internet de qualidade, chaleira e torradeira elétrica, agua sempre quente, mobiliário muito bom, simples e funcional, pratos, talheres, copos e xicaras para até 4 pessoas localização perfeita perto de tudo, mas precisa se atentar a algumas coisas.

É um Apart Hotel, não há recepção é tudo online e via códigos de acesso, mal se vê os funcionários da limpeza, então se você quer e gosta de ambiente de hotel onde tem sempre pessoas para lhe atender esse lugar não é para você, eu gosto de privacidade e ter uma experiência próxima a um apartamento então foi perfeito, há tudo perto, restaurantes, shopping é só atravessar a rua, mercados, bares, farmácia, cambio tudo, então dá para fazer tudo que precisa a pé, fui ao mercado, cozinhei lá e foi perfeito (além de econômico).

Se quer sossego sem barulho esse lugar também não é para você, entenda vocês está no point mais movimentado da Recoleta, há bares, balada, artistas de rua tudo ali, é bem movimentada, então se quer ouvir passarinhos ou silencio total, recomendo buscar outro lugar e não se hospedar aqui para reclamar depois, para mim foi perfeito e sem problemas

Tuvimos una terrible experiencia con Expedia y el hotel, en primer lugar Expedia nos vendió el lugar como un hotel y al llegar al hotel nos enviaron a un edificio de departamentos fuera del hotel sin seguridad y la puerta estaba con signos de haber sido violentada los que nos generó preocupación, luego en el hotel nos cobraron impuestos sin que Expedia nos haya avisado, los que figuraba como un presupuesto atractivo deja de serlo cuando llegas al hotel, el hotel no nos quiso reubicar y no se mostraron preocupados y con sentimiento de poder ayudar, en el hotel solo hay una persona para todos los ingresos y egresos y solo contestaban que teníamos que comunicar con Expedia lo cual fue muy difícil.

Las fotos de la página no coinciden en absoluto.
Es extremadamente ruidoso el departamento que nos tocó, que daba al pulmón del edificio, y las ventanas no cerraban bien. Los utensillos para comer estaban sucios, sobretodo los vasos!! La esponja de la cocina era un asco.
Faltaba mucha limpieza y mantenimiento.
En la recepción de los departamentos no había personal del hotel.
De los dos ascensores, uno no cerraba correctamente y por ende no funcionaba.

Invadiram nosso quarto enquanto dormíamos

Apesar do hotel ficar numa boa localização, ficamos decepcionadas com a falta de segurança. Me hospedei com duas amigas e nossa acomodação ficava num prédio anexo onde não existia nenhum funcionário na recepção, por 24horas nós transitávamos e não havia funcionário hora nenhuma, entrávamos e saíamos com o nosso cartão do apartamento. O pior de tudo foi que no último dia da nossa estadia nosso quarto foi literalmente invadido por dois homens ás três horas da madrugada, estávamos dormindo e tomamos o maior susto. Eles abriram a porta do quarto e entraram, nossa sorte foi que se tratavam de hóspedes perdidos, entraram no quarto errado, se assustaram também com nosso grito e saíram. Mas ficamos super assustadas e com muito medo afinal poderia ter acontecido algo pior. como nesse prédio anexo não transitavam
funcionários, ninguém ouviu a gritaria e quando fomos reclamar na recepção o funcionário fez cara de indignação como se não fosse possível o ocorrido. Realmente não deveria acontecer jamais o cartão de um quarto ter acesso a outros. Fiquei bastante insatisfeita com essa hospedagem e não recomendo pela falta de segurança do hotel.

El ascensor no andaba y tuve que Pelear para que me suban las maletas hasta el 4 piso.
La habitación muy sucia, las toallas y el sofá estan para tirar a la basura, viejos y en mal estado. El Wifi nunca funciono. No tiene cochera ni convenio con ninguna a la vuelta.
No vuelvo mas a ese lugar.
