It was wonderful place they were very professional and very friendly people the room that we were staying was very clean and beautiful the cleaning service staff were hard working to keeping clean and nice our room 🤗 I highly recommend this place I really enjoyed to stay at the Epico Recoleta Hotel 👌

I lost my money. I had a 12-day reservation but could only stay for one night. Since they make you pay in advance, there is no way to get a refund. The elevators are extremely small (barely fitting two people) and constantly get stuck. The TV sets do not work, and the room carpets are filthy. Honestly, this was the worst experience I have ever had.

OK for a few days base

OK for a night or two for the price but felt the hotel was in need of a lot of modernisation.
Reception and breakfast area was clean but food options not good. Breakfast is served to you at a kitchen counter and nothing showing what was on offer apart from the odd things laid out on trays on the counter.
Lift was extremely small and old which you have to close the external door and then pull across the gate. Didn't feel too safe.
Room was very dark and dated. Bathroom was clean but again dated. Wifi signal poor.
Location is good and it was a decent base for a couple of days but not somewhere I would stay at if I was to return.

The only thing that I was disappointed about was that the refrigerators do not work in the rooms. They do allow you to store drinks in the main kitchen refrigerator, though.

Some of the information given by Hotels.com beforehand was inaccurate. There is no Airport transfer, in fact when I door to Hotels.com, he didn’t know what this meant. The staff do no speak English, with the exception of one man who works 2 evenings per week. There is no in room massage. Staff tried to be helpful, location was good, housekeeping good and breakfast staff helpful, if the offering is a bit basic and repetitive.

This a small, unassuming Hotel, basic but good, very well located, close to the subway and lots of Dining options near by. The coffee at breakfast can be better and the hairdryer in my room never worked. The best part is the staff which is always friendly and helpful.

A good experience in Buenos Aires.

Very good experience overall. The hotel was well located, all the basic needs were covered: location, cleanliness, a good breakfast. Hotel staff and cleaning staff very friendly. The only exception was the receptionist, a very rude young woman with blond hair, who answered our basic questions without any kindness or good disposition towards us the guests. That was the only drawback. I don't think that person is trained or prepared to deal with the public, it detracts from the good experience we had in the hotel. However, apart of the receptionist, I recommend the Epico Recoleta Hotel and we will stay there again.

Hotel OK for the price, although there was a hidden VAT that had to be paid upon arrival.
The breakfast is quite disappointing. Everything is over-wrapped in plastic as if we were in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic. Not many options and the food is quite bland. The room was clean enough.

Good budget hotel

Hassle-free check in and check out, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are okay for the price - not very big, outdated TVs, but with good WiFi reception and good AC. Big bathrooms.
Breakfast is alright but nothing to write home about.

Obviously, the area is a great starting point to discover the city with many things nearby and good connections to the rest of the city.

All in all, would stay here again given the budget / price paid.

The room was a tiny box, extremely small. When we walked into our room for the first time and put the light on their was a cockroach on the wall above the bed, totally disgusting! When we left our room each day housekeeping would shut off the air conditioner and open the windows to let in the hot humid air, it was a sauna every time we came back to our room. The front desk was not friendly at all. I would never stay there again!

Great stay in Recoleta...beware breakfast staff!

Everything was fine except breakfast...the staff who work in the breakfast café really need to work on their serving etiquette.

Example 1: Told us there was no orange juice left but was serving to all other customers?? Not a linguistic barrier as I was speaking in Spanish

Example 2: Gives the wrong coffee to the customer next to us (supposed to be ours) who takes a sip from it then she sneakily goes over to the customer gives him the correct coffee and then takes the other coffee over to the bar and puts it on the tray about to give to us! Luckily, I spotted it and told her to replace but not even an apology?!

Sort out your breakfast staff Epico...you really could be EPIC then!

Do not eat there!!!!!!!!

The only good thing about this place is the location.The restaurant looked nice but the service and the hygene are horrible.

I waited 30 minutes for a toast, a coffee and an orange juice. The waiter was talking with the cook while there were people waiting for service and when he went to the tables, he had a terrible attitude.

When he finally brought my \"fresh orange juice\" i noticed it was half full and as I was about to drink it, I was horrified to see my glass had lip marks on it . It was an used glass with leftover juice from someone else, absolutely Disgusting.

When I went to complain to the waiter I saw him taking the dirty cutlery from the plates and wiping them with a dry napkin to put back on the tables.

The lack of hygiene in this place is dangerous and may represent a health hazard as infections and diseases can be transmitted.

If you stay in the hotel, do not eat there.

Neighbourhood is residential,dense with lots of shops nearby..There are parks around,people are mixed with high levels of frustration,leading mostly petty lives but predictable.The hotel is clean with a nice cafe.

La habitación es buena. El internet es malo.

El trato del personal hacia el huésped es frío y despota. Me quisieron realizar un cobro por una botella de agua que bebí de la nevera, sin embargo no acepté el cargo debido a que no está establecido mediante algún informe que dicha botella tiene costo.

El incidente fue con un recepcionista muy despota quien tuvo un trato denigrante hacia mi al referir que yo no podía pagar el agua. Lo anterior ocurrió el día de hoy domingo 14 de diciembre de 2025 a las 10 am hora Argentina.

Es un hotel en muy buena ubicacion. El personal es muy simpático. Sin embargo, hay varios puntos a tomar en cuenta sñmuy significativo:

1. El ascensor es manual de doble puerta y solo cabe una persona con maleta. La puerta en el primer piso tiene cableados eléctrico al intemperie, lo cual es un peligro para cualquiera.
2. Lencería de la cama y toallas manchadas (no estaban bien lavadas) tope de la cama color purpura tambien manchado y con mal olor.
3. En la habitacion solo había un conector pegado de la cama que a la vez estaba pegada a la pared, es decir, no se tenia acceso fácil.
4. El desayuno era 100% nacional, es decir, solo bollería dulces, no había otras opciones que no sean pastelillos dulces, media luna y otras bocadillos dulces. No había ninguna otra cosa, por ende, desayunar en el hotel no era una opción cómoda.
5. Aire acorde estaba remendado con cinta pegante gris, por lo que nunca lo prendí porque tenia miedo.
6. WIFI no funcionaba bien. Por lo que tuve que contratar un servicio de roaming para poder estar comunicanda mientras estaba en el hotel.

No realicé reclamaciones en el hotel porque escuché a otros huéspedes con quejas similares.

A região onde fica o hotel é bem tranquila. O hotel é antigo e precisa de algumas melhorias, mas a cama é confortável e chuveiro bom. O pessoal da recepção é atencioso. Agora o café da manhã é sofrível, ruim e todos os dias a mesma coisa, é servido pelos funcionários. Você não pega à vontade.

Épico? Não, não foi.

O Épico Recoleta é um hotel \"ok\", ou seja, não compromete a viagem, mas cria uma expectativa de que poderia ser bem melhor, a começar pelo treinamento dos atendentes diurnos.
O café da manhã não é operacional, pois depende sempre de atendente. Também é proibido subir com comida para o quarto (segundo o hotel, por conta de hóspedes que sujam os mesmos). As instalações são limpas porém antigas e carentes de manutenções.

La peor atención que he recibido en mi vida, además de eso, cuando hice el check-in, la persona que nos recibió tomó mi tarjeta de credito y además de cobrarme ingreso la tarjeta en su computadora no se para que razón, después de eso no pararon de llegarme cargos desconocido a mi tarjeta,

No tengo pruebas de que fue el, pero en ningún otro negocio tomaron los datos de mi tarjeta.

O hotel apresenta uma boa localização. É um hotel honesto, caso não haja disponibilidade de hospedagem na região, e possui um bom valor se você conseguir uma diária com valor justo. O hotel possui quartos pequenos, antigos, mas com uma limpeza OK. O hotel não tem muitas comodidades ou áreas em comum. A recepção é 24h, presencial, mas não é nada acolhedora ou confortável. Eles guardam a sua mala, caso necessite, mas não achei seguro o local (guardam em um corredor que outras pessoas tem acesso). O elevador é antigo (fiquei presa uma vez) e o café da manhã não é buffet e é muito simples (vale a pena comer fora, a região possui ótimas alternativas para todos os bolsos e gostos). Os quartos possuem cofre. Eu fiz uma viagem de última hora para a cidade, queria me hospedar na Recoleta e não queria Airbnb. Queria uma boa localização, cofre e portaria presencial 24h, então o local atendeu as minhas principais necessidades para a viagem em questão.
