La ubicacion es muy buena todo queda cerca lo unico que el hotel necesita un cambio de los aires acondicionados andan bien pero hacen mucho ruido.la gente en recepcion muy atenta.Siempre que estoy en Buenos Aires me alojo ahi es muy limpio los desayunos fantasticos

Wilton hotel is located in Recoleta and convenient for many of the tourist hot spots within a 10 minutes walk. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Originally a 4* hotel the rooms could do with updating so I would rate it as a good 3*. However it is excellent value for money and the breakfast is 5* with a broad variety of options in a very pleasant setting. The bed linen is spotless and the beds are comfortable. The economy rooms have a poor view into a central quadrangle, but all rooms have air-con and a safe. Bathrooms with efficient shower and good selection of toiletries. There is also a reasonbly priced bar. If you are on a tight budget this is hotel is definitely worth considering.

I think the breakfast really needs work. The juices aren’t good and there is only very limited food like scrambled eggs. Some proper croissants would be very helpful.

The internet was very slow, only 1-3 mb/sec internet.

The rooms are pretty dated but the bathroom is good. After a couple of days I was fine in the room. The hotel price is good.

The neighborhood is very good. We went to the same pasta restaurant down a block and a half on the left across the street. You can’t go wrong. “ilquotidiano”. We went four times for lunch, excellent place.

The room was very dark with no natural light, and the window faced directly into the wall of the neighboring building. The Wi-Fi was also very unstable, and the front desk staff were unable to assist. As a result, I missed an important work meeting. Breakfast very basic.

Property is in a great location with many restaurants and shops within steps of it. Hotel room itself was nice but felt older and dated decor wise. Pillows were very soft. Air conditioner was a bit loud and windows had a weird shutter it from of them preventing me to see outside. Room has a large shower-bathtub, toilet and bidet. Room has a good size refrigerator and safe. WiFi worked well without problem. There was a small breakfast available included with the room but was very small. Hotel had 24 hour front desk staff. No currency exchanging service onsite. Within steps of the tourist landmark El Ateneo Grand Splendid theater converted into a bookstore. Great value for the rate and location. Would stay again and recommend.

I had booked a Superior Room with a queen bed.
But what I was given was a room with 2 twin beds and the window was blocked off with a permanent screen, making this an \"interior\" room. There was no air conditioning as had been described. The room was too warm.
Because I had tripped on the step just outside the hotel & bruised both knees, I was too distracted to realize that my room was not the type that I had actually reserved until the morning I had checked out.

Location is convenient, very helpful & professional staff members , cleaning crew does an excellent job to keep the bedsheets, towels clean ! Very poor A/C system , very LOUD A/C & not keeping the room cool / old A/C with filthy filter ! Carpets on the floor are spotted & old ! I had to pay extra for an upgraded room with cleaner carpet & window over very noisy Main Street ! Refrigerator was not keeping anything cool !

Super old hotel need update real bad. Carpets are dirty beds are old when we cheked in the bathroom was dirft hair everywere had to go to lobby and ask that they clean the bathroom again. The sofas in the lobby area are so old they bout to fall apart. Bfast was decent but not great like they described it. Beat thing was the location we walked to lots of cool places and its very safe at night

Hotel was very good, breakfast had an excellent choice, staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent, everything was nearby. Only small gripe I have is with the cleaner, I left dirty towels to be changed, they just got folded up and put back to make it look like they had been changed. Tea and coffee facilities were there on the day I arrived, but not replenished any more the whole week I was there. As i said, only small, just a couple of things that I think should have been done

I like the location covenient to public transportation the recoletta cemetery and lots of Cafe's and restaurants. But it is cuiet enough for a good night sleep however the furniture is bit tired. The breakfast buffet offers a good start for the day.

Worst dumpster ever!!! nothing like the pictures, Extremely dirty and outdated, cockroaches inside bathroom, bathroom flooded , carpet was so old that you could not even see color, just stains over stains, walls have not being painted since the sixties, A/C overheated and no controls (and this was the best room, as the first given was even worse!!!), the air was stuffy and funky, smelled like mildew and bad breath all over the place, clerk as rude as it comes, worse experience ever, I felt like in one of those joe's flies motels in the movies.
I travel all around the word and book over 100 nights a year on this site, but this hotel should be banned from hotels.com and any other site. Actually should be shut down.

Dated rooms but good location

We had a pleasant stay at Wilton Hotel. The lobby has clearly been redone and looks amazing, but our room was dated and the carpets are in need of changing. Otherwise the room did seem clean, and the location was great. Really close to lots of good food, and there was a pretty lively scene around the hotel with many shops. We did a lot of walking around the area. The front desk staff was friendly and helped us book tours, and the complimentary breakfast was good.

A good hotel on an outstanding area.

The Wilton Hotel is located on an outstanding area of Buenos Ayres. It has an amazing Team Staff and provides a good services. However, it seems the rooms of this hotel have not been renewed for 10 years. Air Condition Machines are old and noisy. Internet did not work on my last day during this stay.

the hotel is in a great location and close to everything you got subway, buses and taxis. Some of the room are small but the junior suit has a good size, breakfast is good but after 2 days is all the same.
i enjoy staying there i will return next Year.

No heating system during few hours at night on winter time, (outside was -6°C ) they turn it off to reduce cost they told me, I ended with a flu.
There were no extra blanket either in the room, and had to ask for them.
Went to Argentina for 10 days and was sick thanks to them most of the time.

Rented a room here after a bad experience in another place. This was way above what we expected. The rooms were small but had a refrigerator, desk, comfortable bed and great bathroom. We are planning on using this Hotel for our next trip to Buenos Aires!

Arrived early before regular checkin and were told room would be ready in 1 hr but ended up being 2 hrs. Aside from that, we were very happy with the hotel. Room (suite) was nice size and clean. Did not expect to have wifi in room but it worked there. Included breakfast was very nice with a good variety and a nice setting. While the location is on a busy street (Callao), we didn't hear any street noise in our room. The location is convenient to shops and restaurants, buses, a few blocks to the subway, and walking to key spots. Overall, we found the hotel to meet our needs, and be conveniently located in a safe area, and a good value for the money.Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is located in on one of the main streets of Buenos Aires close to the Subte ( subway) .The hotel staff speaks English. Nobody understands English in Buenos Aires therefore it was vey important. The staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was open buffet and plentiful. The only downside was that the air condition in the room was very old and making a lot of noise.

They help you to get a private car with a driver but the driver takes you to the airport within downtown not to pay the toll for the highway which takes a long time to reach the airport .

The location of the hotel is excellent, Buenos Aires is a \"walking friendly\" city, you can walk to just about most of the places by walking. Many restaurants nearby, subway stations were just few blocks away. Hotel staff speak English and very helpful.

Maybe we booked the hotel through Expedia (a third party), we were assigned to the old building (instead of the new). Thus, everything was very basic. My local friend who suggested this hotel told me that the new tower were very nice. We didn't stay in the room much, so it was OK.

Room 1403 is below gym room. If someone is doing exercise you will hear all the noise coming from there, you won't be able to sleep. Carpets are not clean. Bathroom was good. Night staff not very friendly

We were delighted with our stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located in the Ricoleta area easy walking distance to famous cemetery and church and only a five dollar cab ride to anywhere in the city. The room was nice and the bathroom was a plus with good hot water and a terrific shower. Breakfast was a quality offering of pastries, fruits, cereals and an array of lunch meats, cheeses and bread. The staff was very helpful especially the English speaking members who made our stay quite enjoyable.

I find the girl at the front desk does not have any people skills, there were a charge for one pesos and I said that I didn't have one pesos can you waive it, she insist that I find the one pesos, which I did. she would do nothing out of the box not even offer a glass of water from the restaurant when you arrive, I heard her tell a guest 'No' who wanted some water after a 12 hour flight. In the afternoon I connected with a young man, the bellboy Mr. Martin he was exceptional, very friendly and helpful. This young man should be in the front desk. We disembarked a cruise ship at 10am and checked in at 11am ahead of going to the airport at 7pm. The hotel served our needs for free internet, a bed and shower to use, and an easy walk to attractions. Staff spoke English, arranged currency and transport. The only negative to report is that the wall mounted air conditioner was ineffective on this hot day. Otherwise well worth the $82.

Located at walking distance from Downtown BsAs.

10 minutes to Carrefour food supermarket. 20 minutes to Palermo and Recoleta Cemetery. About 45 minutes to Florida street. 5 minutes to subte.
Breakfast really good (swedish buffet): cheese, ham, eggs, yoghourt, milk, cake, etc.
Busy, noisy neighbourhood, but seem safe at night.

We requested a double bed, which was clearly stated on the Expedia booking form. When we arrived after a long flight, we were given a twin. We went back to reception, where the night manager argued and said we had not asked for a double, despite us showing it to him on the Expedia printout. Eventually, he said we could have a double if we waited an hour. We waited and were given a room with two beds pushed together. We accepted this for the night, but said we would still like a double. He promised to move us the next day, but did not, even though we were staying another two nights. The room was spacious, but very noisy and hot and no airconditioning. We could not open the window because of the traffic noise. Also, you had to pay extra for wifi in the room. On the positive side, the water pressure in the shower was strong and the water hot, and breakfast was good. We ended up spending an extra night in Buenos Aires, but moved to another hotel. We are not overly fussy people but this was the worst service we recieved in any hotel in South America.

This is worth the price you pay. By no means a luxurious stay, but good if you just need a nice, clean place to stay. Breakfast is fine and there are a decent amount of options. The only minor issue I had was with having to constantly go downstairs and getting new wifi codes. Other than than, Wilton is a decent hotel in BsAs.

Nice hotel and very well located. Metres away from all downtown attractions.
My only constructive feedback is the carpet condition in the rooms. I used the hotel few times before and I always encounter the same issue. It looks that it hasn't been cleaned properly or it is just old and it needs to be change. Also the hotel looks a bit outdated and a bit of renovation will give a fresh look. Nevertheless, a nice experience and I will come back again
