In BA? Stay at Plaza Luxor 👍👍

Everyone at this hotel was great. Very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The front desk people all spoke English and did their best to make it a good stay. The breakfast gal was also very good and friendly. The cleaning ladies were great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to BA.

Eduardo at the front desk was super. The hotel is in a great location. It was a little dated and worn in my room. Stores, dining, busses, all very close. The city is rather dirty, but the property wasn't. Very basic breakfast...coffeee, tea, breads, juice...no meat or eggs. I was only there for 2 nights, so it was fine.

Good location in the city center. Condition wasn't great. Non of the doors worked right. You had to kick or shoulder thrust the main door to get it to open or latch. The bathroom door had no hope of closing. Beds were so-so, but the cleaning staff would make them. There was a bag of doughnuts/pastries/bread left in a cupboard from whomever had the room before, so cleaning wasn't up to par.
The desk staff were very nice and helpful and will change money right in the hotel.
The bathroom wasn't great, but the shower pressure was great!
For the price, I'd go somewhere else.

It’s a very old hotel. The bathrooms were really small. Your knees hit the wall in front of you when you sat on the toilet. Breakfast only consisted of toast and coffee.

The front desk staff was amazing!!! They were incredibly helpful especially with booking tours that would pick up from the hotel. We went to an incredible tango show, gaucho tour, and tour of Colonia Uruguay. They even helped with booking a Broadway style show, Querido Evan, in Spanish! Such an amazing visit!!!

Ask ONE question to the front desk personnel they will be happy to reply. If you ask a second one, they are impatient.
We reserved a room for 3 but amenities were available for 2. Had to ask for amenities for the 3rd person.
The hairdryer didnt work, again had to ask for one. Internet was unstable.
The location was good. Super small elevator that fits only 3 people.
We used the cups, they were not cleaned/replaced the next day.

Great hotel close to everything.

The front desk was very nice and helpful. I don't speak that much spanish and they were very nice and helpful to me. They made sure to help me with anything I needed or anywhere I needed to go. Very accommodating to whatever I needed. The rooms where always clean. Was centrally located and very easy to get to all attractions bus trains etc. Pleanlty of good places to eat nearby.

Good hotel. Clean comfortable great AC and WIFI

Early check in and luggage storage appreciated. Nice room on top floor with terrace which was great at night when the temperature dropped and the sun went down. No soap in room and no tissues only minus point. Very good AC and WIFI. Safe to walk to local restaurants and bars. To my surprise breakfast room closed but shop opposite had coffee and two croissants for less than two pounds. Recommended.

It was with in walking distance to several restaurants and easy to find. The hotel staff was ok not super excited to help. The carpet was old and dirty and the hotel needs some updating. The sink next to refrigerator didn't work and when I asked about they said they would look into but never saw anyone come to look at it. Bathroom was super tiny but kept clean towels stocked.

We stayed at this modern hotel last year and had no hesitation in returning this year. It is within walking distance of most parts of the city that tourists wish to see. Just down the road is the very modern dock area which must surely rival its London and Liverpool counterparts. The train and bus station are also walkable. This is also accepted as being in a safe area. All this and a reasonable rate for bed and breakfast. It occupies a corner site which can be a bit hard to spot as it is somewhat obscured by a leafy tree.

A Great place to stay :-)

No need to be afraid of the neighbourhood, but rather watch when you walk late at night (a common rule: if you're alone on the streets, film there are no other people around you, the be more vigilant). The hotel is great, the staff friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel is very safe and clean (to me this is most imortant). I have renectly stayed at a another hotel here where the in-room safe was out of order and unusable and the staff did not care about it - needless to say, I have instantly checked out and went to another hotel). I did not use the hotel restaurant. All in all, this hotel is very affordable, safe and clean, the location is good (centrally located to most attractions and tourists' needs), the staff are all very friendly and professional. And that is all I need :-) I would return, and definitely would recommend this hotel to my friends/family and total stranger.

Wifi did not work in three different floors, Rooms need maintenance, toilet broken in first room, second room given, door not opening, third room: wifi dis not work the whole night. Not pleased. Staff member sleeping at night, did not answer phone calls forcing to get dressed and go downstairs for service. Hopefully HR can address these issues soon. Very good location. Hotel has potencial but needs human effort. Admin should consider having a second person at night. Replace people that go on vacation instead of overworking the remaining staff.

Over all was fine the only problem we had was that in the middle of our stay we had to relocate to an other hotel near by due to a power outage that lasted 17 hours the hotel staff were helpful for the relocation and the return the unfortunately thing was that all costs were on our expenses .

A great value with a terrific location

This was my second stay at Reconquista Plaza and was just as enjoyable as the first time. Even though this hotel is not the fanciest, the friendly staff and location make up for it. You can walk to most any of the sites in the downtown area of Buenos Aires including Florida Street which is two blocks away. The included breakfast was adequate and the food was fresh.

My stay was ok, as I got a free upgrade, but standard rooms are showing theif age.wifi didnt work. Breakfast was reasonable. Niceghat they have 12 nooncheckout as many hotels here in ba have 10 qm check out. The staff were very friendly and helpful with info on transport, sights etc. A little noisy, but most hotels here are. Handy to some key attractions, streets are deserted at night as its abusiness area.

Very nice hotel in good area. Convenient for ferry and shops. Huge room and nicely furnished. The downside was the wifi and sauna were out of order. Wifi was restored by the second day and worked well in our room. Breakfast was limited but ok.

A recepção foi boa por parte dos funcionários, porém, a estrutura do hotel deixa a desejar, principalmente o quarto, onde o banheiro é desproporcional ao espaço do quarto, sendo muito pequeno; pia danificada, box pequeno sem manutenção sem se quer um lugar para colocar sabonete e com cortina que molhava o banheiro todo. Roupas de cama velhas e manchadas, além de encontramos cabelos comprido na cama. Móveis e pisos descascando.
O café é ruim, nem se quer tinha queijo, presunto ou frutas. Apenas, café, leite, chá e pães com manteiga, requeijão, mel ou doce de leite.

Experiência decepcionante, um dos piores hoteis que já ficamos hospedados. Cama ruim, chuveiro não funciona direito, secador de cabelo para de funcionar, 2 elevadores mas somente um funcionando. Quarto tinha cabelo no banheiro e reboco do teto caia em cima da cama. Tbm o atendente nos induziu a pagar em $ dizendo q o imposto ele teria q acrescentar sobre o valor na reserva , se fosse pagar com cartão, mas no aplicativo, mas no aplicativo já dizia q estava já no valor e teria o desconto se pagasse com cartão … Café da manhã não tem frutas nem frios, só pão e leite e um suco tipo Tang , localização boa se quiser ficar no centro .

Foi muito boa, o hotel é um pouco antigo, mas a equipe é bem solícita e atendeu bem as necessidades. Um ponto negativo foi o cafe da manhã que é bem simples, apenas coassants, pao de forma, suco, e saches de geleia e afins. Quanto a localização foi excelente, proximo aos principais pontos turisticos e bem funcional, com varios cafes, farmacias, e restaurantes na rua, há alguns passos da calle florida.

Pior experiência de estadia que já tive!
A começar pela água quente que era inconstante, a cada banho um stress. Impossível manter a temperatura durante um banho, hora estava tudo gelado e do nada aquela água fervia! Um caos.
Ausência de frigobar no quarto!
O “café da manhã” que não era nada além do que café, um suco de pó, pão e medialuna (tinha que dar sorte de chegar a tempo pra pegar) e sim, apenas isso!
E pra fechar com tudo, a porta da sacada que caia do lugar quando abria e ao fechá-la ficava um fresta enorme! Ao mostrar para o pessoal do hotel a situação da porta a incrível reposta de que era assim mesmo. Enfim, em uma cidade fria em pleno inverno são condições que tornam a estadia estressante e muito ruim!
Ah e mais um detalhe, a água do bebedouro deles da pra ver a sujeira na água 👍

Ponto positivo: Somente a localização, pois é próximo da Rua Flórida que é lotada de comércios, serviços e restaurantes. Próximo ao Shopping Galeria, Casa Rosada, Obelisco, Café Tortoni entre outros.

Pontos negativos: banheiro RIDICULAMENTE pequeno, sem nenhum conforto. Quarto com roupas de cama com aspecto velho. Colchão e travesseiros pouco confortáveis.
Ausência de frigobar e serviço de quarto. Café da manhã sem opção ou variedade alguma, isto é TODOS OS DIAS, só terá croissants, pão de forma, café, leite e chá. Literalmente nada de frios, frutas ou se quer ovos mexidos.

Além de não se preocuparem com o básico, como troco para os hóspedes na cobrança de tarifas locais e se indisporem a receber ou se quer tentar receber via cartão Wise ou de outros bancos.

Uma cama do nosso quarto estava quebrada, fazia um buraco ao deitar. Solicitamos troca de quarto e/ou conserto da mesma; não providenciaram nenhuma das alternativas.
No quarto da os meus filhos já havia papel higiênico usado no banheiro e cabelo no travesseiro.
O hotel necessita de melhor administração em relação à manutenção e higiene.
A localização é muito boa, quartos grandes e café da manhã simples, mas ok.

Frustrante e decepcionante

Infelizmente, não correspondeu com as expectativas, com o preço cobrado e nem com as fotos do site. O hotel não é acessível para pessoas idosas, o banheiro é horrível, sem respirador de ar, o secador de cabelo terrível, as camas são desconfortáveis, os quartos não têm frigobar, o café da manhã é muito fraco.

As acomodações não tem uma boa acústica, então, qualquer movimento e conversa que os hóspedes fazem, refletem em muito barulho. Ou seja, impossível ter uma boa noite de sono com tanta barulheira. Além do barulho da rua.

Teve um dia que o hotel ficou sem luz durante o período da manhã, algumas pessoas ficaram presas no elevador, outras na recepção esperando horas para subir, outras, assim como eu, subiram 8 andares de escadas para não perder tempo.

Levei minha família achando que o hotel seria mais bonito, agradável e com aspecto de limpo, mas o banheiro é terrível. Foi muito frustrante.

Se não fosse a boa localização do hotel e a boa comunicação com os atendentes, eu daria nota zero para tudo.

La experiencia no fue buena en el hotel. Las puertas de sus habitaciones eran complicadas al abrir, el ascensor bastante demorado, el aseo de las habitaciones no era el mejor. Aunque su personal siempre fue muy amable, el hotel no está en sus mejores condiciones.

Es un bueno hotel ubicado en el microcentro de Buenos Aires, sin grandes expectativas de lujo. Es un hotel viejo remodelado, con habitaciones con buenas camas, aire acondicionado, etc. Desayuno modesto con mediaslunas y tostadas. Destaco 1) que está muy bien ubicado en el microcentro, a 4 cuadras caminando de Playa de Mayo, a 2 de Av. Corriente y 7 del Obelisco. 2) la Atención de los chicos de Recepción es muy buena, muy amables y serviciales. Con respecto al precio, yo había reservado en Expedia por 12 mil la noche pero llegué allá y eran 16 mil...

Linda zona, personal amigable , pero deben mejorar las instalaciones, nuestra puerta no funcionaba bien y estabas 15 veces intentando para ingresar a la habitación. Sería bueno que las habitaciones tengan un frigo para tener agua fría para tomar. Se rompió el ascensor y quedamos encerrados por un ratito. Y los colchones se hundían mucho !

Lo que me gustó: Atención del personal, limpieza de la habitacíón, diseño de la habitación

Lo que no me gustó: No había una buena señal de Wifi, en cada uno de los pisos no hay un dispositivo que indique a los usuarios en que piso esta el ascensor o si esta subiendo o bajando, adicionalmente el ascensor es muy antiguo y se detenía en el piso 0 muy bruscamente
