Clean room. They make it clear they do not clean everyday which is not a problem when your are not a dirty person :)
I would recommend you do not stay in the first floor (as I did) due to the noise from the bar nearby.
The location makes it easy to get to the Buenos Aires Bus (yellow hop on hop off) and the area is quite walkable.
It is easy to get to the Port if you plan going to Uruguay (which I did) and there are many restaurants nearby and a convenience store open 24 hours.

Both the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and handled by friendly, professional, and attentive staff. The location was very convenient, and I had a great stay overall. I booked the smallest room; it was modern, spotless, and met my needs. It also had outlets for US plugs (a big plus for me since I’d forgotten my travel adapter). I will return to El Misti Hotel in central Buenos Aires on future visits.

It is a small hotel in a great location, very close to the metro and major sites, a good neighborhood, and quiet. The hardwood floors are lovely.
Beds are decent, though not exceptional - not too hard or too soft. Pillows are stuffed into pillowcases that are half sized – weird. The towels are worn with holes and rips. The toiletries were poor quality.
Bathroom is poorly designed with a half-wall shower that spatters water into the room, and a sink that is very small with little counter space.

Room 801 is supposedly deluxe, only one with no desk, but staff brought up a small table to solve this problem, though there are insufficient outlets, and not all of them function properly.
The room has a balcony with views of nothing worth seeing – just the backs of buildings, and in the summer heat it was unusable. For this we paid extra?
The room is 18 steep stairs up from the top of the elevator, very difficult for two people 82 and 70 years old, especially when malfunctioning keys required returning to the lobby on several occasions. (The staff DID help get the luggage up and down, but it was still stressful.) We should not have been given this room.

Breakfast is two blocks away at a coffee shop with very decent service, but the food and beverages are excellent. It is a very scant breakfast of coffee and croissant or omelet, so not a lot, but very tasty – everything of superior quality.

Expedia should really take this hotel off their platform. It is not in a livable condition at all. Mold is everywhere, the walls are heavily scuffed/scratched, the common areas are mess and unclean, and the stairs and elevator don't seem like they would pass code. I have stayed in some interesting places all over the world and this one was by far the absoluteost disgusting I have set foot into. A refund wasn't given at all which from other reviews is common.

It was an easy walk from the ferry dock. The room was small but had the basics.
However, the floor had not been swept well and there were hairs on the bathroom countertop around the sink.
Check-out time is 10 am which I think is too early.
The desk personnel were very helpful.

Todo el personal con quien tuve la oportunidad de interactuar fue profesional y atento.
La habitación carece de un banco o silla donde colocar la valija, la única opción es sobre la cama, de manera que ensucia las sábanas limpias, luego que la valija recorrió los sucios pisos de aeropuertos y cintas transportadoras. En el baño están siguiendo una tendencia muy generalizada de cubrir con mampara solo la mitad de la bañera lo cual hace que se salpique todo el baño, ensucie y sea muy peligroso al quedar el piso mojado. La ubicación y el precio están muy buenos.

Great location but small rooms

Great location gives you access to many of the restaurants and attractions in central BA. The rooms and washrooms are pretty small but since it was only a couple of days stay for us, we could make it work. Breakfast is next door in the bar which is satisfactory.

Hard to sleep becauae it was a lot of noise from the reception, you can heard all conversations from first floor. Beside that everything was ok until they provide me a voucher for the breakfast that never happened, I travel for years and never in my life received a vaucher of a restaurant 2 blocks away from any hotel. The indications for me was a lie, I never found the supposed restaurant, I walk like 30 minuts around without map, juat a number that doesn't exist. When I came back to the hotel the person in the reception never regret or apology... he just said... \"ah ok!\"
Be aware! If you pay for breakfast in this hotel. I leaved the hotel with a sensation that they playing with me with the breakfast thing.
