The pictures are severely outdated- don’t plan on using hot tub or sauna - they were not available unless you “scheduled them”. The room flooring was dirty on entrance, the place is trying to be a top quality hotel but most things look like they are falling apart or well used.

The hotel is close to everything. Friendly staff. Breakfast is not bad but start at 7:00 AM.
The hotel needs some refurbishing. The gym/ fitness room or any exercise equipment is not working or all broken. The management should update that they don’t have a gym available onsite.

We checked out for one night to go to Iguazú Falls in between left our luggage with them and on our late night return they had everything ready for us to checkin. Close to shopping and sightseeing. We just walked.

Fantastic Hotel Staff

What made my stay fantastic was the staff at the hotel!
They were very friendly and welcoming, and also informative about their wonderful city. The location was great for touring the city, and seemed very safe, as I was a solo traveler. It is in a business area, so very busy during the week, but quiet on the weekends. Remember, Buenos Aires is going through financial challenges, and this is a basic hotel.

It’s a shame the rooftop spa wasn’t in operation or that the bathroom door didn’t shut because apart from that we loved our time here. Location is FANTASTIC - bus stop (direct bus to La Boca, La Caminata and San Telmo) outside hotel, subway 20m away. Could see the Obelisk from our room. Breakfast was great, rooms and beds were good. I would definitely stay here again. We walked to bars / restaurants at night and to a Tango show.

Excellent location, right near the Obelisk and Sube d train. I felt safe and did not have any problems with the area.
The staff was incredible --very friendly and patient with my subpar Spanish.
The hotel itself is nice but has seem better days---could benefit from some sprucing up. My bathroom sink had a small leak and the hair dryer shorted out.

Location of the hotel is great.
Unfortunately, there were constructions outside and inside the hotel and so it was messy and dirty at the lobby and just outside the hotel.
The hotel can use a facelift and needs updating. The reception staff is excellent and helpful.

Great location right in downtown Buenos Aires. Just a couple blocks from the Obelisco and many great restaurants. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly, but there were several issues including the door lock was extremely finicky and always took at least 5 tries to open the hotel room door. Also the hair dryer was broken, and caught fire when trying to use it. The rooftop jacuzzi was the best part of the hotel, even though we requested it at a certain time one day of our stay, and the staff failed to prepare it at the requested time. We used it two other times with no issues. The hotel has a bar/ kitchen but no restaurant and always closes very early so don't expect to be able to order anything in the evening.

The best part of the hotel is the location, right in downtown, walking distance to many sightseeing places. The subway station is at the door step and the sightseeing bus stop is 5 minutes away.
The breakfast is so so. In general it is good value to stay in this hotel.

Photos totally do not look at all like the rooms or the hotel. This hotel is really old and needs updating. Beds seemed not that clean with hair left on the sheets. Bathrooms are pretty bad with really old tiles and didn't seem clean. Front desk staff were ok, but not super helpful. They do sometimes have currency to exchange which seems to be a nice service. Were completely unhelpful with finding a currency exchanging bank and referred us to a bank down the street that doesn't exchange currency at all, which wasted a LOT of time. Breakfast is ok with some pastries and ham and scrambled eggs and that was clean at least. Would not recommend this hotel!

This hotel has an excellent location with the metro entrance just steps from the door. The breakfast was quite good and has a very nice hot tub in the top floor with a nice view of the Obelisco. Highly recommended. Dinner at the restaurant didn't have many choices, but you don't want to stay at the hotel for dinner anyway. It was very clean and the staff was personable and helpful. The beds were quite comfortable. Not luxurious by any means, but a nice place to come to relax and rest after a long day walking through BA.

Its very close to Florida street where you can buy lots of things, even exchange currency. Its also a 40 min walk away from puerto madero for those who don't mind a stroll. Staff was friendly and kind enough to point us in the right direction/ routes/ to take to go to the outskirts of buenos aires

Good for a few nights in Buenos Aires

Nice small hotel in central Buenos Aires, where I just stayed with a friend the final night of our holiday. The rooms are fairly small but the beds nice and comfortable and it was clean as well, which was the main thing for me. Asked the hotel to order a taxi for us for the airport the next day, which failed slightly but the guy at reception in the morning did everything he could to sort something else out for us and we still manage to get to the airport in time - so all good at the end. Breakfast was nothing special but eatable.

However elevators are slow and takes time, breakfast is very bad (no natural juices, no fresh fruits,) and you can not order as adittional because they do not have it. The restaurant is terrible too, for 2 empanadas you need to wait 35 minutes. Staff in the morning is very bad, and the night shift is more proactive and ready to help

It is just a hotel to sleep, with no hurries, and with very good location; the rest (meals, fron desk assistance, elevators, breakfast) is very very very poor

This hotel is SEVERLY OVERRATED!! When we booked it said it was a 4-star hotel. But when we got to our hotel room it was a massive disappointment we even had to ask if we had been given the right room. We booked a 3-bed room and for some reason they set the room up so only 2 beds can view the TV. The TV is quite old anyway and it was not necessary but it shows their logic! They also don't clean their walls, the walls were filthy. The maids do not change your bed sheets so you have the same bed sheets for the entire duration of your stay. AND EVEN WORSE! THE BEDS CARRY BED BUGS. Me and my friends woke up each day with bites all over our legs!!! I left 5 days ago and I still have bite marks all over my legs!!! Our bathroom door did not shut properly. The shower has a tiny screen so all of the water floods the bathroom yet they don't even provide a floor towel, we had to use the hand towels to dry the floor!!!! None of the windows lock. My bed side lamp also did not turn on. They do not have a storage room for luggage, they just leave the bags beside reception desk where any person can access. And finally the breakfast...dear god it was disgusting. By far the worst breakfast I had during my whole stay in South America. The eggs were burnt and had egg shells in it. The fruit was stale. No variety. The first time we ate the breakfast was also the last. Even the coffee was disgusting. Highly recommend AGAINST this pathetic excuse for a hotel!

Nice hotel close to Obelisco

Lobby is small but at first floor has a rest area very comfortable. The staff allow us to do check in early wich was very good. Breakfast was great, the only thing I would add is more fruits and natural juice. The room was not so big but the bed is great. Bathroom clean. Good internet. And its just few steps of a subte station.

Cons:
1. Noisy at night as it is in the heart of the city. Take some earplugs with you.
2. Limited access to solarium and sauna.
3. No wash clothes. Just 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels.
4. Shower design wasn't very good, as it was hard not to spray water into the bathroom floor. You have to use one of your hand towels for the floor.
5. Breakfast is good with the exception of the eggs. They serve it as soup. One day of the 3 we were there, we finally ask them to cook the eggs more and they ask us to put them in a bowl and then they cooked them in the microwave. What a waste!

Simple but efficient place for the cost

We felt that this hotel was great for the value (because it was inexpensive). However, the triple room was quite small for 3 people. The breakfast buffet was mediocre- mainly just croissants and coffee but better than nothing I suppose. The staff at the hotel did not seem to know much about the area- poor restaurant recommendations, they did not know a salon to recommend for a haircut...All the staff were very nice and tried to be helpful. We felt that the location was very central and great as a home-base but the whole area seemed desolate on the weekends since it seems to be more of a business district. Next time, I may stay in Palermo neighborhood which seemed to have some more fun restaurants and bars to hang out at.

Location! Location! Location!

We were really happy with the location of this hotel, so close to many things we used, particularly the huge avenue that splits the city down the middle, so you can walk either way easily, and there's also an underground railway station right there too. The huge obelisk was just around the corner, the hop-on/hop-off bus office (which is a dreadful bus service by the way - government owned), main shopping areas, banks, etc. etc. There would be many other hotels in this area too and some in equally useful locations, such as down near the Plaza de Mayo, but still, we were content with what we had and the price to match. The picture of a nice spa on the roof really drew us in, especially with a kid who loves spas and pools, so you can imagine how disappointed we were to find an empty spa bath with jets, like you get in some hotel rooms. They said they can fill it up when we need it. The next time I looked on the roof there was a sleazy guy in there, drinking and smoking, and it was then that I realised this was just a bath, and his bath, with no circulation, no filtering and no chlorination. It would have been no different to hopping into the bath in his room after he'd used it in there. The room was small but OK, the balcony completely occupied by the air-conditioning unit, so of no use to people. The breakfast was very basic but sufficient, although we brought our own cereal - everything's so sweet in Argentina! Staff helpful. Pretty simple hotel with a price to match

Nice hotel in Microcentro. Small but comfortable and modern rooms. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, cereals, toasts, sweet croissants and that's pretty much it. The staff was great and even let us check-in hours before check-in-time so we could rest a little after our flight. Would recommend to friends and family interested in staying in this neighbourhood.
