Clean, comfortable, quiet. Huge new king sized bed. Huge living /sleeping area, separated from the bathroom by a hallway so no light under the door or sounds from the hall. Good breakfast, a bar, and very helpful staff. Any question i had, they had the time and knowlege to help. Great place, just a block off the transport ave (18 lanes of traffic and busses).

Not enough variety for a healthy breakfast.
The rooms were super clean and spacious although it could use another garbage can.

The hotel is good value for money, the room we got was quite large and comfortable but very basic. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, large, functional but dated, the room lacked sockets for charging.
Breakfast was included in the price which really was a bonus.
Unfortunately the area around the hotel, though not unsafe, had a few homeless people and guys drinking and just hanging out. It’s safe enough for a couple to walk around but I felt a bit unsafe about walking around by myself.
The staff did everything they had to satisfactorily and generally were quite friendly and accommodating.

This hotel was ideal for a pre cruise stay because it was reasonably priced and well located. The staff spoke English and was friendly and helpful. The self service breakfast very nice and included. We couldn’t check in until the afternoon, but having arrived in the morning after a long haul flight, we were glad to be able to use the pool and showers. The pool was pleasantly warm and towels were provided. We used the hot tub which was ok, but could have done with a bit of a clean. The bedroom was huge! It had plenty of space and a big en-suite with jacuzzi bath. All in all a good place to stay.

A night in Buenos Aires

The location is convenient although in the evening the street was with a lot of garbage on the walkway. Staff was nice, the room is spacios and quite. It is decorated with socer players paintings on the doors. Jym is well equipped, pool is ok but narrow, not much room to swim. Transfer to airport was organised and good. Breakfast was not pretty good with selection of fruits, sweets and hot scrambled eggs with bacon in addition to sereals.

Boca Hotel is on a quieter street than 9 Julio, but downtown streets are narrow and claustrophobic. Plaza de Mayo and market vendors were nearby. Transportation was relatively close.
Room was spacious. Some rooms had plumbing problems and you cannot control your own temperature. The breakfast would become tedious if you stayed a week.

The only one uncomfortable thing that bothered me is early closing time of fitness center. It is open only till 20:00, the same as swimming pool. As fitness room and swimming pool have separate entrances I do not see any problem to keep fitness room open at least till 22:00.

If you need a good night sleep, then look further

As beautiful and clean as this hotel is, the inability to control the temperature of the room is a big reason I won’t be going back.
On my first night, the room was so hot and I could hardly sleep as I kept breaking out in sweat. Called the reception and was told there was nothing they could do because it was centrally controlled.
Fast forward to day 2, temperature was adjusted but then was too cold. It’s just frustrating that should you need to adjust the temperature, you had to call the reception.

Breakfast was also very appalling. I should have guessed from the saucer sized plate provided. The only hot choice was a miserable looking omelette. For the price you pay, you will get a decent meal in a cafe.

The room comes with a jacuzzi bath but not shower gel or salt. Makes me wonder why install in the first place.

One the positive, the receptionists were helpful navigating the city and arranging airport transfer.

All in all, I won’t be visiting again, just not worth the price paid.

The service at the front desk was highly variable, depending on the staff on duty. It has a young peoples' vibe and is heavily soccer themed throughout. The pool is small but pleasant when there are only a few guests, but can get very crowded and unusable. Breakfast was fine. The room (310 was excellent in terms of size and amenities, but dark as it has little natural light. There was no street noise.

Great location. Nice modern design. Floor in room was quite dusty and there was a terrible smell coming from plumbing. Luckily there was a window in WC. Steam room and sauna were closed for renovation without any warning before booking. Gym and pool close so early at 8pm. Why?!?!?!? The boy working at desk even shut the TV off in the gym at 7.49pm as I was finishing workout. (Very rude). Breakfast is identical every day. Please change it a bit and come up with a nicer way to present the ham and cheese. It’s disgusting the way you do it, especially the ham.

Boca is a national Argemtine soccer team. Being a fan I pride myself on different ways to demonstraste my support. This hotel offers a chance to live as a guest of this team with commodities of their colors and pictures which I loved.

But i had to wait hours after my international flight to enjoy it. I arrive to an expensive room with a non functioning jacuzzi. I decide to hit the gym followed by the pool, but find that after 30 minutes on the treadmill, a staff member abruptly shut off the tv to indicate the gym was closed. How unwelcoming and rude, I thought. And of course, gym being closed on this hot summer evening, pool is also closed.

The hotel is very central but it is inevitably very popular with football devotees given its themed links to Boca Juniors - notably children and girls hanging around outside to see junior players - so if that is not your scene it is to be avoided. Facilities bizarrely close far too early at 1700hrs and the lane pool on the 1st floor is over warm if you want to swim and exercise properly.
My room on 15th was generously large but I am not sure that is true of lower floors. Its good value for downtown and close to the Intercontinental over the road to which one can escape for something more sophisticated.

Staff are professional and helpful, able to communicate in English effectively. Room are clean and very comfortable. Location is convenient and only a short walk to major transport services. The only inconvenience I experienced was that I missed my shuttle transport as my plane was delayed, fortunately it is not difficult to get a taxi from the airport and the fees are reasonable and the hotel did not charge me for the pre-arranged shuttle.

This was a great location from which to explore Buenos Aires. There was a place to buy the hop-on, hop-off bus tour within walking distance, not to mention a Starbucks right across the street! At the tour company, we also booked a ticket to see the show Madero Tango in Puerto Madero. The room was a bit crowded with tourists, but the dancing and live music was incredible. There might be more authentic tango experiences for aficionados, but for me the show was perfect. The room at the hotel was lovely. I thought it was decorated well, especially for a hotel dedicated to a football team. The theme was not overdone, in my opinion, although the paintings of the players on the doors might not be everyone's cup of tea. I loved the wood floors, and the beds were very comfortable. A few days were cold while we were there, and the room was always nice and cozy. The food could have been better in the restaurant, but the staff was nice and breakfast was pretty good. I felt comfortable for the entire stay. We did book a massage while we were there, and I have to say it was lacking, but that was the only negative. Buenos Aires was an amazing city to visit. I only stayed 3 days, so I will definitely return in the future to see more of what the city has to offer, especially since the MALBA was closed this time. When I do return, Hotel Boca by Design would definitely be on my list of places to stay, especially for the price.

Room was large and roomy. Plenty of electrical plugs with one universal which took up male plug. Bathtub was a Jacuzzi with hand holds to help get in and out. The staff was extremely helpful and worked had to make sure the hotel stay was enjoyable as well as my time in Buenos Aires. Although I did not take advantage of it, the hotel has excellent exercise, swimming and sauna facilities.
I arrived at 9am and check in was 3pm and hotel recommended an excellent steak house for lunch which was an easy walk from the hotel. Wakeup calls were prompt and never missed. Staff was very helpful in arranging tours and site seeing. In BA be on the lookout for pickpockets. They will squirt your back with a mix of mustard or some other substance then offer to help you clean it off. This happened once to me. If it occurs, got at once to the nearest officer which are omnipresent.
