Because of that our Second time here , small problem :reception ordered taxi to the airport and it was late 40 minutes so we were waiting , finally got in on our own , barely catches our flight ... that was stressful

I had a wonderful experience at Up Congreso Hotel during my recent trip to Buenos Aires. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Congress Palace and a short walk to iconic spots like Palacio Barolo and Café Tortoni. The room was modern, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything I needed—comfortable bed, Smart TV, and reliable WiFi. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist with local recommendations and quick check-in. The complimentary coffee was a nice touch, and the jacuzzi in my premium room was perfect for unwinding. Great value for money and a prime spot for exploring the city. I’d definitely return!

The room temperature was not satisfactory. Often it was very cold for 2 out of 4 days and required multiple attempts to address on both day 1 and 2 of stay. Outside of that, hotel is centrally located and in a safe area

En general, un excelente relacion calidad/precio, el staff amable, unos mas que otros, cuando llegue de madrugada, el que estaba me hizo esperar ahi, lo cual es segun las normas, pero el del turno siguiente, inmediatemente me mando ala habitacion, esto en relacion a la hora de entrada 12:00 pero me dejo ingresar a las 8, realmente muy amable. This modern clean property is the perfect base from which to explore Buenos Aires - everything is within walking distance. Even though they do not offer breakfast there is a convenient 'eating area' with microwave, kettle, coffee machine with all day free coffee which all is great. The best thing about the place though are the super helpful reception staff - they are amazing - special shout out to Valentine!! Thank-you to you all - you are what makes this place a great experience!

Value for Money. Some rooms need renovations

We stayed at the Babel Plaza between March 24-29 and occupied room 606.
At first we were given room 502 and it was in deep need of renovation so we moved to 606.
The hotel is well located near Congreso, (5min walk max.) where you can take many buses (colectivos) that will get you all over town. It is also near the mythical Avenida Corrientes and the Obelisco.
As said, some rooms are in great need of rénovations, and the hotel having changed name recently (from River hotel to Babel Plaza) is probably going to do so.
Room 606 was confortable and had no carpet, a plus for me. AC worked well and the bathroom was nice. It had bidet, bad with shower, toilet and sink. TV with many channels but no foreign language channel (i.e.: no English channel)
The breakfast is simple but of good quality and the breakfast room staff is kind, polite and efficient.
The reception agent Jorge and Sébastian are both knowledgful, helpful and nice.
We had good wifi signal all the way whether in the lobby or in our room.
Considering the facts and the room we occupied, I would definitely recommend this hotel, as long as you take into consideration that it is not a 5-star. It has excellent value for money.

Overnight stay between flights, everything supermarket clean and comfortable, very hot shower, helpful staff at reception with giving directions, also they offered to let me check out 1 hour late as I arrived at 11:30pm. Would definitely stay here again. 5 mins walk to Subte station, 15 mins to Av Santa Fe with a lot of shops, 20 min taxi to Manuel Leon Airport Shuttle at Terminal Madero.

For a 3 Star Hotel, this place delivers. I found myself getting robbed and subsequently moneyless and without a passport on my way to the airport, rendering me having to stay in Buenos Aires some additional nights until I was able to get an emergency passport and rebooked a flight. Luckily, I remembered my credit card number and booked River Hotel before I had to close out my credit card, as this was also stolen from me. Having no ID and no money, the hotel was very understanding and even let me borrow their phone charger as my phone and Internet were my only solace. The front desk staff are very nice and accommodating.

The rooms are decent, especially for the price I paid. It came with a TV, a double bed, a full length mirror, a desk, and private restroom with a blow dryer, shampoo, and soap. I like that the water pressure was high. It was the best showerhead since the water came out at full blast. There was also hot water and air conditioning in the room.

The breakfast was continental: ham and cheese, croissants, toast, yogurts, cereal, and coffee and tea, with butter, jam, cheese, and dulce De leche for your toast.

The general area of the hotel is central and right next to Saenz Pena subway station and one block from the number 8 airport bus off Avenida de Mayo.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel as the staff really made my stay here, and it was a good price.

El hotel y la habitación (Cama, Baños, sábanas, toallas) estuvo limpia, los servicios estuvieron bien por el personal, pero su alrededor del hotel (Calles) no son seguras para nada, solitario, sucias las calles y se tiene q andar con mucho cuidado a pesar que en la zona se encontraban por momentos muchos policías, pero en dos cuadras más del hotel, fui asaltada a las 10:30am por 2 títeres. No es una área segura!

Fiquei 5 noites e queria ter visto uma avaliação como essa antes de reservar este hotel.

Pontos positivos: é bem localizado, próximo a muitos pontos turísticos, muito acessível e da pra fazer quase tudo a pé.

Pontos negativos: o Hotel é muito simples, não possui nenhuma opção de lazer, não havia nenhum funcionário bilíngue, é bem barulhento, você vai escutar os hóspedes que estão ao lado e em cima de você, fora que a sala de serviço da camareira era grudada no quarto e todos os dias acordamos com o barulho dela abrindo a porta com a chave.

A pior decepção foi o café da manhã, que foi pago a parte, um grande arrependimento porque é horrível! Café ruim, bolo industrializado, nada era fresco. Só comemos no primeiro dia porque não sabíamos como era, aqui eu só gastei dinheiro atoa.

Banheiro muito pequeno, mal projetado. Piso encharca com muita facilidade. Não tem café da manhã, o que dificulta muito , pois não tem local próximo para fazer a refeição. Mostra uma foto na hora de alugar e chega é outra totalmente diferente.

Hotel muito bom pelo preço, considerando que já fiquei em outros hotéis bem ruins em Buenos Aires pelo memos preço. Hotel reformado, decoração moderna. Nos hospedamos por uma noite, mas se for ficar muitos dias tenha em consideração que o quarto é bem pequeno. A localização é muito boa, esse é o ponto forte. No geral eu gostei e recomendo.
