the room was clean and very well laid out. Very nice to have air-conditioning. The staff were extremely helpful. There is an elevator, but there are also some stairs and so they carried our luggage for us when needed. The included breakfast was quite nice with many options, including eggs, bacon sausage. The location is excellent. It’s located on the fourth floor of a building with other pensioned on other floors, but once we found our way, it was very easy to get around and within walking distance of Trevi and the Spanish steps.

It was very hard to find at first there is no name outside, we walk around few times, asked few people and nobody new until somebody in a closing store told me it was a green door in between 2 columns. After dragging luggage up and down the street in the the heat we found it. There is an elevator good for one person with luggage at the time or 2 no luggage. We recommend. Very good location after finding it.

Excellent location between Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The front desk were incredibly nice and helpful, including suggestions and reservations. I suggest listening to their suggestions regarding restaurants. They know what they're talking about.

The hotel itself had some things that could have been better. The water pressure in the shower was not good. Our room was right by the stairs and if people were walking around and talking, it was noisy. Doors didn't keep noise out very well.

It was nice having breakfast available to us so we could get going with our day.

The staff were terrific. We appreciated all their help.

So far my favorite hotel I’ve stayed at on my European travels. Great location, the staff were so helpful and friendly, and the room was perfect. Sometimes European hotel rooms can be small and feel cramped, but we never felt crowded in this hotel. The breakfast was also very good. 10/10 and I will try to stay here again in the future.

We loved our stay! The front desk was so wonderful. They let us check in early, which was so nice given how tired we were from traveling. They also noticed it was my daughter's bday from checking our passports and brought her a delicious cake and candle at breakfast! That was so sweet. They really cared to make sure we had a nice time. We had the large room for four and the shower was so nice and warm with great water pressure. Hotel walkable to everything. Was a great time!!!

Highly recommend! The location could not have been better- we were within an easy 15-20 minute walk of so many attractions (Spanish steps, pantheon, Trevi fountain, piazza navona, colosseum, forum, etc) The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and having breakfast included made it so much easier to get ready for our day’s adventures. Would absolutely stay here again!

Super hard to find. Does not seem like a hotel. You have to enter a building’s inside patio and then a random elevator hidden in a corner of one of the buildings that does not fit more than one person with luggage and then walk a set of stairs to get to the “lobby” which is just a counter. We didn’t find the correct elevator at first so we called the number on the website and it was out of service. Really not what I expected at all. For the price we paid I think we could’ve gotten a nicer and easiest option. The only good thing was the location.

The hotel itself was lovely. However finding the property was extremely difficult. The entrance on a side street in Rome was difficult to find. The only sign was on a small business listing which listed its name with a push bottom which clicked and you were able to enter the courtyard. You then walk to the back, went to the right thru two areas at the end of which you found an elevator that took you to the fourth floor. (The elevator barely held three people without luggage. It took several trips to get people and luggage up.)
The elevator took you to the fourth floor, reception was on the fifth floor up a flight of stairs. Someone did come down to help. We were three seniors in our eighties. Carrying luggage up stairs was not our thing or our expectation. Our rooms were on the sixth floor. Again assistance was needed.
The staff was very helpful, the rooms and breakfast was good.
I think that Expedia description of the property was completely uninformative as to it limitations, It does have an elevator but it only goes part way so it has a very limited value. The entrance is barely marked and without help almost impossible to find. The picture on the rooftop garden is lovely but not helpful.
I had expected Expedia to provide an accurate description of the property. It did not. Ellen Trageser

Easy to locate. From the train station take bus 85 and it's 2 minutes walk from the stop. Look for timberland shop and it's the double green doors next to that.

Warm welcome by staff. Our room was ready upon arrival. Room was spacious, very clean, reasonably priced well stocked fridge. The bed was comfortable and the sheets nice quality.

The area is nice and although busy, as is all of Rome, we slept very well.
The AC was wonderful.

We stayed two nights and had breakfast both morning. Small selection but enough for us. I had yogurt with nuts and fruit alongside toast and scarmbled egg with tea. My husband enjoyed bread rolls with scrambled egg and bacon along with pastries and tea. There was also juice, cereal, cold cuts and many more pastries.

The staff are always smiling and happy to help with recommendations etc.
We would absolutely stay here again

So glad we found the Parlamento - perfect for a 2-night stay. Easy walking to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and not much further to the Forum and Colosseum. Only a few rooms on an upper floor, so it was quiet. Breakfast was lovely - terrific cappuccinos, breads, cold cuts, eggs, juices, fruit, etc. Highly recommended.

This hotel's location is perfect for shopping and seeing many of Rome's major sights. The room was standard size for Europe at this price point, but it had a large updated bathroom. Our room had a private terrace, but there was a spacious public one available, too. Both were decorated with beautiful plants. Moreover, the staff were pleasant and fun to chat with. They were helpful from even before our booking, and arranged tranfer for us to and from the airport/train station, and helped us navigate any complications. Would stay again!

This family owned boutique hotel is a hidden gem in the city center of Rome. My mom and I stayed for 5 nights total. 3 before a cruise and 2 after.
From the moment we arrived we felt safe and taken care of. Andrea and his very sweet Uncle greeted us warmly and got us into a room right away as we had a long travel day. The room was perfect, very clean had everything you would need to be comfortable. At night it was very quiet. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful patio upstairs. The breakfast was exactly what we needed to fuel our busy days ahead! The staff was patient and kind with us asking a million questions and we had many conversations and laughs!
The hotel is in the BEST location! Walking distance to all of the highlights you want to see, shopping and many incredible restaurants.There is a taxi stand just outside to the left.
We felt like part of the family and we were very sad to leave. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! We will be back, thank you for everything :)

The only thing that kept us from rating 5 stars was that some things were a bit dated. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, and the elevator was a bit on the small side and dated. The hotel was also located on the 4th floor of a building, and walking 4 flights of stairs wasn't great. We would give this hotel a 4.5 rating and definitely consider returning if the cost is right.

I really wanted to love my stay here but unfortunately the hotel didn’t live up to what I was hoping.
A large hole in the shower was taped over with duct tape. The shower head sprayed water everywhere but down. Replace it or clean it. Giant hair/dust ball in the corner of the room.
The phone couldn’t call out. Not even local numbers for taxis or restaurants.

The hotel was centrally located to all of the major sites. We were within easy walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon.

The property is quite lovely, very unique. It is updated and clean. The rooftop area is also very nice. Do not use the first elevator. Go to the courtyard and then to the right to locate the second elevator to the hotel. There are steps, but the staff met us and carried our luggage. I would stay here again.

Location, location, location... You'll love it.

Our stay was wonderful!!! Just what we need it; a clean room and comfortable bed to rest after a very long flight/ train ride and long walking tours. We loved that it is very close to everything, restaurants, coffee shops, groceries store, Trevi fountain, Colosseum, lots of gelateria and many other places of interest. We wanted to stay longer, but they were already all booked up.
Keep in mind the hotel is within a building, in order to get in you have to be buzzed in, the elevator is tiny, it can only fit two people and as soon as you walk out of the elevator there are some stairs up to the front desk. Not suitable for people on a wheelchair. The breakfast room its small but, there is a beautiful roof terrace where you can seat and eat. Breakfast options are very basic, but they are all good enough to start the day. Everybody is very friendly, warm and welcoming, they really make you feel comfortable, like if you are visiting friends, the person at the front desk is very helpful and informative. Our room was very quite and the area feels very safe. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Andrea is simply outstanding as a host and has an exceptional attitude to ensuring guest satisfaction. He is extremely reliable, efficient, professional, good natured and very helpful. We don't know how he does it but he is the most hard working and dedicated host possible. He is supported by a wonderful team who work tirelessly around the clock to provide guests with very clean, comfortable and well thought out rooms, great breakfast with all the items you need to get off to a great start for the day and very useful advice and bookings whenever you need.

Add in a very convenient location (and once you know to go straight up the lift to level 4 inside the courtyard) which is walkout distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and many restaurants and well known shopping downstairs, this is the best place to stay in Rome.

The owner is a charming gentleman who delights guests. All the staff are so courteous and housekeeping is thorough and attentive.

Would return in a heartbeat to this hotel. You simply won't get a level of service like this anywhere else (and we've travelled to Italy several times and have explored from Milan all the way to Sicily).

My second time staying at this hotel. The location was perfect for me, Spanish steps, Pantheon and Trevi fountain within a 10 minute walk, Colosseum 25 minute walk. Prime location for all the shops too.
The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly and offer such a personable service. The breakfast is in a small room and they offer a varied selection of breakfasts, note the breakfast room can fill up so you may have to wait until there is space, but generally do not have to wait long.
Also, note the hotel is located on the 2 top floors within the building. The large family room I first stayed in is on the first floor and the double room I stayed in is on the 2nd floor which leads onto the terrace you see in the pictures.
Would most definitely stay there again, and have recommended to friends and family.

I booked this hotel for a short stay with my niece for her 12th birthday. The hotel was recently renovated and our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Hotel is close to the main tourist sites and we didn’t even need to use public transportation during our stay. It is a family run hotel and it shows in the way they treat their guests; all staff members were very kind and quick to respond. Even the 12-year old noted she liked the staff. There’s a nice terrace on the 5th floor which can be accessed after 9:00 a.m.
The only unpleasant experience we had and a slight dent in our trip to Rome was a late night private transfer from the airport arranged for us. Having an exhausted 12-year old child in tow, I wanted her to have a seamless experience. I used this service in many countries and this was the first time I did not have a great experience. The hotel arranged the transfer and there was a person at the reception desk waiting for our very late arrival, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, the driver didn’t have my name displayed, so we couldn’t find him after our arrival. Then he didn't know where the hotel was and drove us around several times in the middle of the night. I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel, but I wouldn’t opt for private transfer next time and just use FreeNow app to call a taxi.

This hotel is in a great location and priced well. It's close to most of Rome's main tourist attractions. The rooms are larger than we anticipated and exceeded our expectations. The staff is very helpful and friendly. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was the roof top terrace. It was nice to have a bottle of wine at the end of the evening or drink coffee in the morning from there.

We had 2 rooms for our family of 4 and stayed 4 nights in August. Great location close to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and main sights in central Rome. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the morning was just right with enough selection and made a great start to the day. This was the perfect Rome hotel! I would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here on our Eurotrip and the location is just perfect. You're a 5 minute walk to the Trevi fountain and walking distance to every destination for sightseeing.
The location felt very safe as well and they had security measures, such that you had to be buzzed into the building. The hotel helped us organize a transfer from the airport which I strongly recommend because the driver knew how to get us into the hotel, which would've been confusing otherwise because you do have to walk through and up stairs/elevator. If you need it, there's a taxi stand fairly close by.
The breakfast was perfect in the morning. There was one morning when we had a really early start due to a day trip we were taking and the man at the front desk was nice enough to make us espressos before breakfast hours. All of the staff were extremely nice - our favorite from the 3 hotels we stayed at in Europe!
Would definitely recommend and I would stay here again!

Livia and the staff were fabulous. The cappuccino in the morning was the best that I’ve had so far. The only feedback I would provide is the last night there were bugs in the bathroom and after we return from breakfast the last morning, I noticed ants starting to crawl on the bed. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with dinner reservations at anything we need during the trip. We would definitely return.

We loved the staff and our room. Olivia and staff were very helpful with dinner reservations and familiarizing us with the area of Rome. The cappuccino in the morning was delicious. The room is modern and beautiful. AC works great! One discovery on the last evening were bugs in the bathroom and ants on the bed as we were checking out. Please be sure to spray the room before future guests stay again. I would go back!!! Stay there!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! This hotel is in a great location, easy walkable to many major attractions. The rooftop terrace was a major bonus and we enjoyed sitting out there during the evening. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate anything we needed. Truly, I can’t say enough wonderful things about this staff or property

Service was exceptional and the location is hard to beat being right in the heart of Rome. Just a quick walk to Trevi fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps. Hotel was very accommodating to our needs and breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

MINIATURE ROOMS

To begin with this is not a hotel but more like and B and B. The location was the only good part, but we had a hard time finding the hotel. Its in an old building with other offices and rentals. We have to drag the bags through a large door then find a narrow elevator. Once we reach the 4th floor. We again have to drags our bags up a few steps and reach the reception. The rooms are located behind a door of the reception desk which makes you feel you are in a hostel than a boutique hotel. The rooms are so small that you can not even move. The shower was broken which made the tiny bathroom into a pool . It was a task not to slip. Rooms were neat but I really feel the hotel was over priced for what they provided. This is not a properly for elders or with anyone with more luggage. The staff was nice but I guess they cant do much. We finally moved to another hotel which was a bit more expensive but rooms were huge with a terrace and had a proper reception and lobby . I do not recommend staying here u less you want a hostel or the prices are low

We only stayed 1 night. Andrea at front desk was wonderful and very helpful. Location great and easy to walk to many sights. Bed was not too comfortable and there was some type of outside construction that went through the night.

Perfect spot close to everything

Great small hotel very close to everything. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was lovely. The room was not large but totally adequate. The place is extremely clean and well maintained. Walk to all the sights, restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent customer service, the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. They were also very helpful holding our bags for the day and arranging our taxi to the airport. The location is ideal to walk around the shopping district and to get to all the major landmarks around Rome. The breakfast was delicious!! Can't wait to stay here again.
