great value and (if you like to walk far) walkable location but gym was small and poorly equipped and nothing worked in it anyway. If you don't care about the gym I highly recommend this place.

This hotel is wonderful!! The breakfast has something for everyone. We felt safe here. Guillermo is THE NICEST!! Everyone is helpful. Our room was kept clean. It's relatively close to the subte station. A GREAT place to stay in Buenos Aires!

Decent hotel. Breakfast was pretty average - I skipped a couple of times for coffee etc elsewhere. Some staff were helpful but others felt a bit put out whenever I needed a new key etc. Nice pool area although it is small. Room felt clean and housekeepers did a good job.

Our 3 day experience at Bys
We checked out at 11.45 and did not stay to 1 pm as that offer was ridiculous and no compensation for the problems we had experienced . We had asked for EXTENSION complementary until 6 pm and were refused . . First night was 6 th floor king and that is what last 2 nights should have been . Instead when we arrived late after a very long journey ,we were put on third floor in 2 singles .The offer of pushing 2 single beds together on level 3 bedroom was ridiculous at 11.30 at night . The king room high up king room we booked for the 1st night and in addition final 2 nights months ago !
Finally we were moved on last night to 6 th floor king room, which meant the re packing for cases had to be rushed and done on our last morning when we had hoped to see some tourist sites. Normal desk staff were helpful but management were not very accommodating , their only answer was we are very busy with lots of Brazilians and you have to take a 3 rd floor room with 2 single beds, having done this for one night , we would have at the least expected an apology and an EXTENSION on check out to 6 pm to repack cases .
Perhaps they were under stress because they seemed to be having many toilet issues in different rooms. Overall dissapointing. I don’t know 2410, what’s the time?

Priced reasonably, it is strategically situated in Palermo. The hotel is clean. Walking distance to good restaurants. I like that they have 4-single bed rooms, perfect for group trips. The hotel staff were very accommodating and anticipates guests needs. The neighborhood is quiet. Highly recommended!

The main reason I picked this hotel was the reviews. In particular, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful, lived up to the reviews and more! I don’t speak Spanish and only my second trip to Buenos Aires. They started helping me before I even arrived with filling in the paperwork for entry. Guillermo totally took care of my needs! Great location, could walk to great restaurants. They even arranged for a nurse to come to the hotel so I could get a COViD test to get back into the US. Definitely staying there again, thanks again to all.

Great boutique hotel in trendy Palermo - Soho.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Great breakfast. Ricardo and Guillermo at the desk were the best and so very helpful. Got us dinner reservations in Carden restaurant which was outstanding, arranged our airport transport, and Safely stored our baggage our last day. Top notch. I’d recommend. Really liked Palermo. Highly recommend Blest Microbrew Pub. Great beers, food fantastic, great service and atmosphere. Also like Gorrión leather store and Rapanui gelato and chocolates are outstanding. The street art is amazing too in this area. You will have a great stay.

Great last few days in Buenos Aires at this hotel! It looks like in the photos: massive rooms, clean and comfortable beds, great location within walking distance from a lot of cool places in Palermo and Recoleta. Delicious breakfast with loads of fresh fruit and warm pastries!

Ricardo greeted me at reception and was super helpful in recommending places nearby and with booking an early taxi to the airport!

Great Hotel with Excellent Staff and Amenities

Very nice modern hotel in a good area. Quick efficient check in. The hotel is spotless and the front desk staff is very helpful and resourceful. The room size was excellent, very spacious with a mini refrigerator and a coffee/tea maker. I have not found this in many hotels in Argentina. The room even had a small dining table with chairs which was a great place for me to work on my computer. The AC worked perfectly.The bed was large and comfortable. The wifi was excellent. The bathroom was also roomy with plenty of counter space. The hot water was abundant and at a good pressure. . The buffet breakfast was very good, the only down side for me was that I found the coffee weak so I used the coffee available in my room. All in all I was quite pleased with my stay. I would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel, somewhat basic. The downside is that you have to pay to use the pool. It is small and not in great condition so I don’t understand what the charge is for. There needs to be a bar in the hotel. Room is clean and large and the staff offer great service and very friendly

A lovely small hotel with good service.

I was really impressed with this hotel.The team spoke good English and were very nice. The room was extremely spacious and very well equipped. Linen and towels were excellent. Breakfast was simple but had many offerings and was available from 7am - 10am. There is a nice roof top pool. It very easy to get around the city from here. Rooms have AC. The hotel will arrange transport and taxis for you.

The place was good aside from the fact that the pool wasn't open. As a big fella in the heat the reason I booked this place was because of the pool. When I inquired about it, they said the pool was only open in the summer. It was March 13th, which last time I checked was in the summer in the Southern Hemisphere and when I looked at the booklet in the room it said the pool should be open until March 31st. I was slightly annoyed by this>

The breakfast is decent with zero variety. Same thing everyday. But its included which is nice. The hotel staff were very helpful about sight seeing and dos and do nots.

Excellent: Value, service & a pool!

Although the hotel is slightly out of the way within Palermo, the access to the rooftop pool, the amazing service, the comfort of the rooms and the value more than make up for this. And it's not too far to walk to the main bars of Palermo or to the subway.

The staff were incredibly helpful and cheerful. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast wasn't extensive, but all very tasty. The pool was a real treat - a relaxing place to retreat from city life in the sun.

Definitely recommend!

Vacation stay in Buenos Aires

This was a 3 night stay during the Christmas holidays. The staff was helpful in giving local directions to the metro, shopping and restaraunt options. Lobby, room and general hotel facilities were adequate for the price. Breakfast was good but a fairly limited choice of items. A little noisy with our room facing the street, but since the street was not a major thoroughfare it wasn't too bothersome. We stayed in the Palermo neighborhood based on recommendations of friends, but we did not find it as nice as advertised...quite dirty, smelly and trashy along many of the sidewalks. The distance of this hotel to the closest metro stop was considerable at about a 10 minute brisk walking pace. The pool and exercise area were only open from late morning to early afternoon which were the times we were out sightseeing...no chance for an early morning or late evening workout and the one stationary bike was broken.

The hotel was as advertised and was in a good location for getting around just off of Cordoba, but not high end Palerma itself. The best part was the staff who were very friendly and service oriented. All of them were great, but in particular David and especially Juan, made sure, we, who could not speak much Spanish, were helped with any concern.

The Hotel was quite good - not great, but very good. Great location in Palermo. Good breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpful, not always accurate in directions. But well meaning. Hotel was nicely refurbished/renovated Perhaps it is the economy, but the hotel was very tight on things like soap, toilet paper, and clean towels. They would provide when you asked but impression of pinching every penny. A bit of discussion over rates when I reserved a \"double\" but did not specify two people. (My thought was that a \"double\" meant two people. My rate was increased over that which I signed up for. This was a minor irritant -- no big deal. All-in-all a very good hotel in a great location for a reasonable price.

Great Hotel in Palermo

I was in Buenos Aires studying Spanish, so I needed a place that would be comfortable enough for 4 weeks or so. There are a lot of hotels in BA and it's really hard to find a good one for a good price. Before Hotel BYS, I stayed in two hotels in San Telmo, which were disappointing (small, old, and not professionally managed). Initially, I booked for three nights but ended up staying 15 nights. I was so pleased to find Hotel BYS. It is managed very well with a friendly staff, clean rooms, and good breakfasts. It also has a pool, gym, and sunning area on the 7th floor. It is within a 10-15 minute walk to Plaza Serrano in the heart of Palermo SOHO. It's a little hike (20 minutes) to the closest subway station but it is a nice walk. If you want to stay in a great hotel in a nice, safe neighborhood, this is the place for you.

Served it's purpose well!

My partner and I chose this hotel specifically because of the close proximity to the two largest gay discos in Buenos Aires and the fact it's brand new. It was only a 5 minute walk to Amerika and about 15 minutes from Glam. The hotel is very new, clean and it's actually very conveniently located. There's a pharmacy, several convenience stores, cafés and a McDonald's all literally within 3 minutes walk of the hotel.

Our flight arrived into EZE at 7 am and we were anticipating arriving at the hotel around 8:30, so we paid for an extra night to ensure an early check in. We informed the hotel of this via email and it was no problem. With the airport arrival nightmare and the traffic nightmare we didn't get to the hotel until 11 and boy were we glad we'd paid for an extra night so we could go right up to our room. :)

The front desk was very helpful in directing me to a place about a 20 minute walk away to exchange my US dollars. I was a little nervous, but it turned out to be a very easy and painless transaction.

Breakfast was included in our rate but we were never able to take advantage of it as we'd usually arrive back to the hotel at around 6 am and went right to bed afterwords so I'm not able to comment on that.

All in all a very clean hotel and every single staff member we encountered was very nice and helpful. The only thing I would change is the mattresses. They're too soft for my liking. :)

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff met all my needs. They even were able to recommend a place to get a better exchange rate than the official rate they provide. The breakfast spread was great. The room was large, clean, and well laid out. No problems with the wifi on my floor or in the lobby.

About the level of a Fairfield inn overall but not quite as nice.
The desk staff are pleasant enough but some not so fluent in English.
Wi-Fi is awful. The hallways need painting. The rooms were large and nicely done. No clock in room.
My re of thumb when traveling is to deduct one star from the rating of foreign hotels to give an equivalent US rating. This follows that rule, 3 stars in US

The best thing about this hotel is the friendliness and helpfulness of all the guys on reception. They couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The hotel itself was very clean, tidy and modern, the room was a large room with 3 beds (even though we only needed 2) and breakfast was great. The only slight disappointment was that the pool was shut when we arrived (it was due to open on 1 December), but in the end, we didn't have time to use it anyway.

It is the staff that make this hotel a great place to stay in BA. The rooms are spacious, nicely appointed, and well kept. The staff is fantastic and really make you feel welcome and appreciated, very professional. The only down side for this hotel is it's location, in that there are no nice restaurants or shopping in the immediate neighborhood. However, it's only about a 15 min walk over to SOHO which is one of BA best hood's.

We booked this hotel in 2 occasions together with another couple, the hotel is nice and comfortable but maintenance of the rooms let it down, from broken security boxes, external balcony doors not locking, power points and air conditioning not working to blocked toilets
Our situation was not as bad because we only booked for overnight stay before destination but our friends stayed for a week and changed several rooms, at the end they ended up in a room with a broken security box since it was the best pick of the lot, interestingly enough, the rooms they refused to stay were offered straight away to new guests without even attempting to fix the problems

The front desk staff was excellent. Breakfast was adequate. My only complaint would be pool hours. It was 2pm-7pm and we always wanted to use it in the morning or night. I may also suggest more activity in the lobby to make the bar more inviting. LOVE the soaps and shampoo.

Excellent Attention

The Hotel was great, the attention was amazing, I definitely recommend it. The only thing is that if you want to take the Subte (Subway) you need to walk 6 blocks....but if you use a cab that won't be a problem. Our room was very clean all the time, the breakfast was very good, bathroom very clean \"this is very important\", quiet neighborhood if you need to rest.....for me I give this hotel a Five Stars..

Good for the money

Great basic hotel. Decent breakfast, private parking (I paid AR$ 65/day extra) and surprisingly fast wireless internet. Friendly desk personnel.
Technically it is in Palermo, but very close to Almagro. As usual with hotels the price for food and drinks in the room is excessive but there are several kiosks within a block or two. Our \"King\" bed was two twin beds together. Don't expect luxury.

Hotel Bys - great value for money

We arrived after a long flight via Rio, very tired. Staff very helpful and provided us with a map, pointing out the location of the hotel in relation to the attractions etc.

Rooms spotlessly clean.

The Breakfast was served from 7.30 to 10.30am which included sausages and scrambled eggs, cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses etc and was all fresh and tasty.

Would defintely recommend this hotel..
