Room needed repainting. No body lotion but shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, hand wash and hand cream was supplied. Couldn’t turn off the noisy air conditioning unit with the remote in Room 101 which was a shame as would have preferred the breeze from the balcony window.
Lovely building and area perfect for restaurants and bars. Arrived very late so didn’t get to use the spa facilities. Was offered free glass of wine.
Despite the trouble with the air conditioning unit, I would still recommend this hotel if you want something different from the usual hotel chains.

Room was large and clean. Staff very helpful. Always cleaning around the pool and cafe area. If you stay 2 or 3 nights you learn lots of cafes a few blocks away. Breakfast was more than expected. Lots of parks close by.

Room safe wouldn't work, so we had to wait for the handyman to fix it before we could go out.
Door SLAMMED shut every time we tried to close it. Internet was interrupted for most of our stay. We were unable to confirm our flights out of Buenos Aires.
We had booked a wine tasting at a sister hotel. Found out that they could not accommodate us at 2PM as booked. They re-booked us for 6PM which we couldn't attend because of other plans. Then, they texted us via WhatsApp that they could do it at 2PM at our own hotel. Unfortunately, by then, we had made other plans, as we received the notification after 2PM. They then INSISTED that we pay for the reservation because WE had canceled..

The bed was very comfortable and we sleep well every night. Staff was nice. Bathroom smelled like pee and we had to buy a disinfectant spray and spray everything. Up by the top of curtain closer to the bed it looked like a big black mold spot or something and it was off putting. Breakfast not good. Wasn't as nice as the pictures online. Location was good though.

Bad smell, left for another hotel!

Room had a horrible smell of air freshener that seemed like it was trying to cover an odor- permeated every ounce of fabric in the room. AC was not working, door slammed really bad, couldn’t get the WiFi to work which was really, really frustrating. The smell was so bad that we ended up leaving and going to another hotel bc we were getting bad headaches and nothing else available.

Also, construction in hotel which was not mentioned prior to arrival- everything felt- unfinished. I could not believe this was a Condé Nast preferred hotel.

I’ll give this property the benefit of the doubt because it is maybe under construction? The photos are zero like the website let’s put it that way . We stayed in 3 hotels in this area back / fourth in this trip this hotel will not make the return list unfortunately. On a positive the staff at the front desk were nice. The bed was ok .

Its a nice hotel in a good area. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was limited but good. Coffee, Tea and Water filtered water (hot & cold) available always.
Negative was the lift was out of service, which we were not advised prior to arrival. I was travelling with my elderly mother and it was difficult for her to go up and down the fire escape. If we had known we would have booked somewhere else. Additionally there was building work going on from early until late afternoon. Again we were not notified of this prior to arrival.
From a value proposition we do not think it is worth the price paid compared to other hotels in the area. The use of the Spa is expensive at $80 per guest per day so not worth it considering its size.

Amazing stay. The hotel is perfectly located. Best neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Close to many restaurants and buses/subways. Staff is the best, friendly and helpful. Very flexible and always willing to help. The hotel has beautiful common areas where you can have coffee or meet with someone. I am definitely staying here again next time
The room is comfortable, shower has excellent water pressure. Breakfast is good, Argentinian style with good Medialunas and with a menu of eggs and fruits.
The only negative aspect was that the room that we got had glass doors in the bathroom, which wasn’t very nice and also the bathroom itself had a window and the curtain was not long enough, which meant there was no full darkness in the room. That’s the only single thing that I’d fix. I understand it was a problem only specific to the room that I got.

The property is solid 3 stars in a good area of BA with many dining options close by.
The Spa facilities are outdated, in poor conditions and with lack of services. They don’t truly have a spa.

It is a little bit overpriced for what they offer but not below 3 stars standards. Beds are comfortable and rooms simple.

I don’t usually write complaints, but I was genuinely disappointed with my recent stay.

The Expedia listing mentioned gym access nearby, which influenced our booking. Only after full payment did we learn there was no gym nor any hotel partnership—just construction. My colleague and I had to pay $120 USD out of pocket to access a gym for three days.

For two nights, I couldn’t sleep due to a loud water pump near my room. When I raised the issue, I was simply told I was “lucky” it would stop the next day—after already losing two nights of rest.

On our last day, we asked for a late checkout (just one extra hour) and offered several alternatives, but staff refused without flexibility.

For a boutique hotel, this experience fell well below expectations in both comfort and service. I won’t be returning, but I do believe compensation is warranted given the inconvenience.

A lovely boutique hotel and a great base to explore B.A. The hotels is only a few streets away from the trendy Palermo Soho where you’ll find some really nice bars and coffee shops, plus just a 5 min walk from Don Julio (it felt safe walking around the local neighbourhood).

The hotel has a lovely garden to chill out in, great wine and very friendly staff who are happy to assist with any questions and give recommendations.

The rooms are small, but perfectly adequate for a short stay.

This place is a treasure! It’s clean, the staff is personal and accommodating to all needs. You feel like you’re leaving friends when checking out of the hotel. We alap met the owner and You can really tell he takes pride in his hotels. Also, if it’s available, definitely go in for their Asado experience! That experience was one of the best parts of my Argentina trip! Delicious food, you learn a LOT, and you get to meet other people from around the world.
The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are very nice and the AC worked very well. The showers are also great and feels like getting a massage with the strength of the water.
I will stay here again when I’m able to return to BA. This was a perfect hotel experience for me and my partner. ❤️

We initially booked a larger room however it had no sunlight or view and the staff kindly downgraded us to a room that was smaller however had a view/sunlight.
While I am still trying to wrap my mind around why I would pay premium for looking into the walls, I otherwise have no complaints. Food was made to order and great, staff were accommodating, and the location was very convenient and close to many Palermo Soho attractions.

Loved the location of this spot. It was located a few streets away from Palermo Soho, which was perfect for hitting up Don Julio, and doing some shopping while I was in town. To top it off, it was a ~15 minute ride to the AEP airport.

Staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English.

A few things:
- Front desk did not have a lot of pesos to exchange with USD , so it wasn't a reliable option to get cash. They pointed me towards a western union instead.
- The room I was put in was very prone to outside noise (103). I could hear people ambling about or even having quiet conversations in the hallway. The door should definitely be replaced to not be a \"closet door\" and a full door, as it mildly impacted my sleep.

It was a really nice place do stay, but the matress has to be changed. I think that they don´t follow the expiration date and it has a valley on it.
The coffe is good, but so many choices of sweet things. They need to put more options of salty food.
It´s near to almost evething. I waleked a lot.

Estuvimos muy a gusto en nuestra estancia en este hotel principalmente por la amabilidad del staff y la ubicación tan conveniente que tiene el hotel. Se nota que se esmeran wn tener un lugar lindo y cómodo para los huéspedes. El Duque Hotel and Spa is a quiet and serene bubble in a bustling city with people on the constant move. The location is sei in a neighborhood-like environment but is easy walk to Palmero shops and restaurants.
I cannot say enough about the staff. Exceptional, multilingual and knowledgeable about the city. The breakfast was fantastic every single day! The chef-cook was one of the best things I will remember about my 16 day stay.

Great location and staff, but some disappointments

The staff was friendly, with an unexpected upgrade and flexibility with check out. Unfortunately my last hours I had hoped to use the “spa” rooftop to relax but the sauna wasn’t working and the pool was covered in floating bugs and a mini lizard at the bottom, so wasn’t the experience I hoped for. Room was very clean with magnificent views but the bed isn’t very comfortable. Great location and staff, but a few little disappointments.
