Nuss Hotel has a lot of potential except there are some areas for room for improvement. While it is in a great area and the staff are friendly and helpful, I found that my key card did not work a number of times during my stay, the door was hard to open and close, and when I had my first shower the hot water was brown. In terms of the breakfast, it was good although the brewed coffee was some of the worst I have had. Recommend asking for an Americano or Long expresso to experience a good coffee. I do want to highlight on the plus side that the staff was accommodating in a late checkout and that they did text me when I left my umbrella behind on check-out. Overall, while this is not a five star experience, it is a solid three star with room for improvement.

Hotel was safe, room very quiet, bed very comfortable. Our room had a spacious terrace. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with many choices including cooked to order omelettes and fresh squeezed juice. We enjoyed being in the heart of the Palermo neighborhood with many restaurants. The only negative was the floor in our room was very dirty.

Hotel and staff are very good. Rooms are spacious and well air conditioned. Breakfast is good. Position of hotel is excellent for Palermo night life.

Roof top has small pool and would be better if there was a bar service. There is a charge for daily bottled water which is usually an included item.

Wonderful short stay before cruise!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Nuss before a ship cruise. Very nice, quiet quaint boutique hotel. Service was very good. In a very nice and convenient neighbourhood. Many restaurants, boutique shops and cafes. Very interesting area.

A great place to stay

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly (the staff who manage the breakfast area are phenomenal and were a highlight of our stay) and the location is incredible. The hotel is situated in the middle of the bustling Palermo neighborhood, so you have a tremendous number of bars and restaurants within a short walk (the downside can be noise when the bars close, but it was manageable). It's about a thirty minute drive to Recoleta or the central business area. Housekeeping was not consistent, and one day we found that our bed had been made using a pillow case covered in dried blood. The hotel staff was always quick to address any deficiency, however. We would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to any friends who might be visiting.

Beautiful, charming boutique hotel in the heart of Palermo Soho. Stellar location, incredibly walkable, just a bit noisy overnight (street noises, pubs nearby, other guests coming in late and slamming doors shut). Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Our flight back to the States got cancelled and we found out as we were boarding our flight back to Buenos Aires from Mendoza. Immediately we know that we had to stay in the same hotel as we did last week - the Nuss soho. It was Juan Manual who was the reason for this - he is the absolute kindest man and goes out of his way to ensure your stay is perfect. We came back here for him!

The location of the hotel is great! It’s nice that the rooms have outlets to suit plugs from other countries, the bathroom is nice and the room is fine. The walls are thin so you hear a lot from outside and from the elevator. My biggest issues were the internet is not sufficient to do basically anything. I had video conferences for work and it was impossible to get a decent connection. There are a lot of places around like cafes and such with WiFi but with the time zone some of my calls were very late at night. Not the best to be walking around at 10pm with your laptop. The other issue was I left to work from a coworking space that did have decent internet and I was out all day and I get back at night to my room and my door was OPEN! To my room- for how long no one knows - it doesn’t make you feel very safe. Especially when I asked the desk and they really didn’t know must have been after the housekeeping service- that was many hours. They said I guess you can talk to the manager tomorrow- didn’t know what to do and no one contacted me at all to apologize for their lack of security or care.

Loved Nuss Hotel in Buenos Aires! Location in Palermo can't be beat, bed was the most comfortable we had in more than two weeks in Argentina. Staff were friendly, helpful, and all spoke English well. Facilities are in great condition. \"Pool\" was a bit of a disappointment but roof terrace in the treetops was great.

Boutique Hotel In Palermo Soho

I stayed at Nuss last year and really loved the experience, it’s a charming boutique hotel. That said for the price (equally priced w hi end hotel) but is lacking all kind of amenities, first off the room is poorly, I turned on all the lights it’s still not enough, bathroom is very small. It lacks dining facilities. Breakfast is sub par, and the dining staff (lady in dark hair, thin) was cranky and not helpful, I came down at 6:50 to Check out and just wanted a cup of coffee and she wasn’t going to move to Check on coffee she just glared and said not ready. I travel a great deal for work, with this kind of treatment I will take my business else where next time. I am elite member of The Ritz and JW. Nuss does not desertmy loyalty.

Very nice hotel, spacious rooms and clean. Breakfast is amazing and they cook hot meals on order (eggs and bacon). The location is perfect, right in the middle of Palermo Soho where you want to be. As so many other boutique hotels it is somewhat noisy now and then. A minor source of frustration was the aircondition that is centrally regulated. Rather hot in the room (and not possible to leave the balcony door open due to the noice).

Not only is this boutique hotel in a great area with comfortable rooms, but the Manager and Reception Staff went out of their way to help with a reservation problem. Wonderful service and I would have no hesitation in returning or recommending the hotel to others. Breakfast is good with all the usual cereals, toast, pastries, fruit with eggs and bacon cooked to order. There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance, with lots of interesting street art to see along the way. The streets and restaurants and bars come alive late, and we felt perfectly safe walking back to the hotel along (along the main streets) after midnight or 2am. Thank you for a lovely stay!

First, the neighborhood. Palermo is the place to stay. Cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating are broken up by small boutiques. We walked endlessly and everywhere.

The hotel is small. Rooms are pretty standard - nice. Lobby and small cafe for breakfast were fine. Nice rooftop deck to relax.

The staff was great. Thoughtful and helpful. We stayed one night and then stored our luggage for two days while we went to Iguazù. When we returned to Buenos Aires we were late for dinner with friends and got to the hotel after 2am. They not only had us checked in, but they had our bags in the room for us. Outstanding!

Great Boutique Hotel - NUSS

The Nuss is a fantastic boutique hotel. Only 22 rooms so they really focus on service. The manager Martin was wonderful. The front desk staff all spoke English and were helpful. Andrea in the breakfast area goes to extra lengths to be helpful. You can order eggs and bacon to go with the cereals, breads, yogurts, fruit salads and meat and cheese platters. My only minor complaint is that the coffee wasn’t very good and they charge for espresso. Our room was huge! I asked if we were upgraded but we weren’t. Incredible! The bedding and towels were top quality. Ask at the front desk to borrow converters if you’re a foreigner. They handed over 5 and asked if we needed more. We asked them to empty the minibar so that we could stock big bottles of water from the market. The rooftop was great for relaxing on the lounge chairs or dipping into the small pool. We didn’t use the gym but it looked good and the attached sauna was clean and new. The neighborhood is lively. Some nights you’ll have to wait for a table at a restaurant at midnight. There are incredible restaurants within a ten minute walk. We never tried the ones right around the hotel because it was fun checking out the streets around. The scene right around the hotel was a bit young for me, All of the streets are tree lined. Walking home at 2am with my son, it was always safe in this neighborhood. Charming boutique hotel in Palermo Soho

I was in town for a conference and was supposed to stay at another hotel that located in a very busy part of town, not convenience or near anything. I researched options in Palermo Soho--I stayed in the area last year and love the vibes of this area---and NUSS came up, it was such a cool modern and charming Hotel with such good services breakfast and personal touches--the day I checked in there were a sweet note from management with the most delicious freshly made alfajores on the table. The building is old but everything inside was updated, very modern super charming with the most comfortable bedding. Can't say enough good things about NUSS. I will come back for work again next year and will definitely staying staying here again. Definitely recommending to friends and family.

Large rooms, excellent bed and very pleasant service. Some background noise, unclear if it was the nearby street construction, the AC or both.

This hotel is located in a 'trendy' neighborhood. But many international travelers might think the area (not the hotel) is a bit run down. It was within walking distance (15 minutes) from the La Rural convention Center and the walk is via a busy and safe street.

If you are mainly here to sight see, the excellent hop-on hop-off Yellow Bus is at least a 20 minute walk.

Located in Palermo district, a very safe place near many shops and restaurants. Rooms are a bit small, but staff is friendly and amenities are plentiful. The rooftop terrace is a great place to relax after a long day. If you prefer boutique hotels with great service, the Nuss can't be beat.

Excellent communications with the hotel before our arrival. Responded quickly & warmly to pre-arrival emails & phone call. We had a nice 1 night experience @ Nuss. Check in went smoothly - met immediately curbside & in room under 10 minutes. Room was comfortable but noisy, as we were on the street side. Soho comes to life late & goes to sleep early the next AM. Breakfast was wonderful. All in all a good stay, but felt it was somewhat over priced. Would I stay again - Yes, if it was less expensive. Special Thanks to Front Desk Agent - can't remember her name just now, but was very helpful!!!

Gem in the heart of Palermo Soho

The hotel is new (2009 I think), very comfortable and beautiful. Staff was uniformly helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. Very nice breakfast spread (included). Room was comfortable, great bed and bedding, and slick gorgeous bathroom. Room overlooked El Salvador, a tree-lined leafy beautiful side street with lots of restaurants and boutique shops. I was a solo woman visitor and I felt safe walking alone, even at night. Could not recommend this hotel, street, and neighborhood more.

Palermo was a bit pricey but fun. Lots of great restaurants very nearby. A nice comfortable, clean room. The best thing about this hotel was the staff here - just wonderful. Very, very helpful with travel advice and re-bookings due to a general strike in Argentina on the day of our departure.

Wonderfil small modern hotel in Soho Palermo area .. Quiet to come home to. Lots of wonderful restaurants nearby you walk to. Cabs plentiful and not expensive. Best of all is the service and security . They help make any and all arrangements, great advice. English not a problem.

Buen hotel

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, una zona con bastante comercio y actividad de restaurantes y bares, el personal de recepción y restaurante fue amable.
Tuve algunos problemas que pueden ser situacionales, el internes se cayó el jueves y el viernes fue festivo, no hubo conexión por 2 días, eso en un viaje de trabajo es complicado. Solucionaron con una red de emergencia que solo tenía señal en el lobby, así que trabajé desde las mesas de desayuno. Algunos problemas con la llave electrónica, se desconfió varias veces.
El destino está bien, es rico, hay variedad para escoger, sin embargo todos los días es igual.
