Watch out for the young angry bar man!

The young barman was more concerned with escaping from the bar and having a vape across the road than serving guests. He was extremely rude when it was pointed out we had been waiting 20 minutes to be served on terrace. Challenged and laughed out loud at that suggestion - which was true. Wrong person to be working in such a prestige environment. So disappointing.

The young barman was extremely rude and unhelpful during our stay on Sunday 20th July.
On our pre-paid return visit on Saturday 2nd August we were very disappointed with the condition of our room. It smelt of cigar smoke when we arrived and later smelt of dampness. There were greasy ‘forehead’ marks on the windows and a full strip of ‘Advil’ tablets on the floor by the curtain! Not acceptable standard for this overprice accommodation.

There was pooh stains in the toilet prior to my arrival, also they gave a room that kept shaking whenever the staff would ise the doors. So basically was woken up every 15 minutes after 6.30 am highhtly dissatisfied.
The front desk person Olivier is really nice though.

This is my second visit to this hotel, it is located in the Golden Triangle on Avenue Montaigne in Paris it is Beautiful! With all of the Designer Shops on this street! During the Christmas Holidays, the decoration is Spectacular❤️

Very small room.
The worst shower because it doesn’t have something to hold the shower , you need to hold the telephone shower all the time !!

Went for wedding anniversary. Was told champagne and chocolates would be on bed upon arrival which never happened. Hot and small room. Sticky and dirty carpets. Also the bedsheets felt damp and were clearly dirty with stains on sheets. Perhaps blood. Leaky shower head. Broken mirror and light switch in bathroom. No bottle opener for mini bar amenities. Was given a a bad attitude when asked for bottle opener. Poor breakfast. Location is not even that great. Was extremely happy to leave Hotel Montaigne and never going back. Bon voyage

This hotel is nice and in a great area. Unfortunately the room we booked wasn't what we expected in terms of the number of people it could accommodate. It was quite a hassle to move rooms, and the hotel staff didn't know their own floor plan so they kept moving us to rooms that also could not accommodate rollaway beds (this literally happened twice). Also, the AC didn't work in two rooms we tried (on a 100+ degree day). Lots of issues but the staff ended up meeting our needs. They weren't overly friendly about it, though. I don't think I would go back.

Good but very expensive hotel. Quiet room. Limited number of channels on TV (no Dutch/Belgian channels). Shower gel (not soap) was missing in bath room, I would expect that to be there for a 5-star hotel. Room was pretty dark due to small window.

Good location - poor staff attitude

Came to stay for a night to celebrate a birthday in Paris. Location is great and the hotel provided a flower bouquet in the room as I indicated we were there on a birthday trip before arrival, which was much appreciated.

However, when we came back to the hotel on the day (admittedly late) the hotel seemed understaffed. On the question whether I could get a second pillow I was told the hotel was booked out and there were no more pillows. A lie, as it turned out the next day but my sleep was of course already ruined. When I called to have a second room key brought up to the room I received the reply: \"do you really need it now\"? I didn't get it until the next morning when I went down to reception and asked for it again. The next morning, I also had to find out there was no hair dryer in the room and had to call twice to receive one.

This is a boutique hotel. Our room was very small, there is no gym or pool. None of this would be too much of a problem but the one thing a boutique hotel should excel in in my view is how the staff look after their guests. In this regard, we were very disappointed.

The room was dirty! The carpet in the room was filthy and the bathroom/ shower as well. The is zero customer service. The receptionist was extremely rude. There is one person in front desk handling everything from
Check-in to Concierge services and even carrying suitcases!! This hotel should have two stars at most!!

Dreadful hotel. Extremely disorganised staff. It was the only place we used our (new) credit card. One day after using it to check in, fraudulent transactions were made (to a local company). The hotel failed to reply to our emails and refused to answer any questions about security of our personal information. We travel a lot and have never experienced this issue with any other hotel. Would not recommend a stay here.

4 Star hotel in a Great Location

No question about the location, its close to everywhere you want to go. The hotel itself is a 4 star hotel and its very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and speaks english. The only problems I see with the hotel is that they do not have showers in all rooms. Some of the rooms come with tubes only which was a problem for me. I actually went downstairs and made a big deal out of it and they changed my room to one with a shower. Wifi doesn't work all that well downstairs in the lobby but over all is manageable. If the price is right for you, its a nice little hotel to go to.

Paris, close to shopping district

we loved our stay at hotel Montaigne. It was within walking distance to all the shopping you could ever want. Also we were able to walk to the Eiffel tower, the Arc de Triompe, the concord. If you do not want to walk, the subway is a block away, and we were able to navigate throughout all of Paris. Close to everything, and overall very pleased with our trip.

The hotel itself was nice and room was clean. However it was not a particularly restful stay. We were woken at 8 each morning due to drilling and hammering. We reported the problem to reception twice but they did not get back to us. Customer service was disappointing and small details were overlooked. For example there was a minibar but no bottle opener. Overall I'm not sure this hotel deserves its star rating.

Hotel staff were not friendly. Wifi doesn't work and when you ask you are spoken to very rude. I would not recommend this Hotel. Breakfast buffet over priced and staff again are unfriendly. No help with luggage upon arrival or departure.
