This hotel was dirty, room was extremely small and old with a dingy looking bed. The parking lot had many old looking vehicles with men hangung out in the parking area. The hotel was located off the main road in a corner section with little safety night lights. The hotel condition was extremely poor, Do Not Book!!!!

I went to check in and the place was filthy but we needed a place to stay for the night. We checked in, got our keys, then headed to the room while others were hanging in the hallways and partying there and in there rooms. We get to our room and the key wouldn't work. So I go back downstairs to get a new key and the check in desk was closed, with a metal door pulled down. I noticed there was a call phone outside the door to enter the hotel so I used it to call their support and then a lady came out of a door and made me a new key. I go back up to the room and the key unlocks the door but it is locked from the inside and we could hear someone else already in the room. So they had booked us a room that already occupied. I go back downstairs and the lady that made the key was still there. I tell her there's someone already in the room and she said she doesn't know because she hadn't worked the last 4 days. I told her the door is locked deom the inside and we can hear others in the room. I tell her it's obviously double booked and ask for a refund. But she said she can't give me a refund because I booked it through Expedia and I need to call them. As we're walking out, the guy that was checking in at the desk before us came downstairs with exact same problem. Someone else was already in his room and he wanted another but he was told that there were at capacity. It's been over a week and I still haven't gotten a refund from Expedia after talking to a rep

We left after approximately 30 minutes. My husband spoke with the clerk and they stated they will issue a refund. We want a refund due to the numerous issues that were described in my other review: smoke detector battery going off that they didn’t come to fix, moldy smell, dirty matttess on pull out soda with no sheets (stained and covered in dog hair), dirty floors

Was not expecting to pay for towels. This is more for people to stay extended periods of time, as lots of people were cooking in their rooms and had the doors open. It’s smelled like fried food everytime we came out. In an area that is close to places to shop and eat though. Lady at the front desk was very nice. If you came in after 10 and left your key, there would be no one there to help you get in.

Well the representation on Hotels.com was terrible. the place is on its last leg. Way over priced for what it was. NO POOL, no staff after 10pm or before 930am, no continental breakfast. This place was a disaster, people camping in vans in parking lot. Should have gone done the road but was too tired and was only staying one night. Decided to just deal with it.

Very poorly maintained hotel. They had mold and a pipe break during our stay. The do not clean rooms unless your stay is over 2 weeks. No free towels after the first day they want to charge for them . Their elevator broke also and the room we stayed in gave my wife and I headaches a mold like smell.

The property was poorly maintained . It’s smelled like mold gave my wife and I a headache . They had a pipe break while we stayed there and had mold remediation fans going . I don’t think they meet the county code for safe conditions . There elevator was not working part of the time. They do not exchange free towels for 1 weeks stays . They do not have room service unless you stay 2 weeks . Don’t book hotel it’s a disaster zone .

The room needed to be updated. The flooring in the bathroom was loose. The hairdryer caught fire in my hand. Glad I didn’t have it pointed to my head as it acted like a blowtorch. Didn’t expect coffee in the room but it wasn’t in the lobby either. The only door that worked with key cards was the front door. The desk was not staffed at night and no one was there until 9:00 to check you out. The carpeting in the hallway was stained and dirty. The elevator has trash in it. The bed was clean and comfortable though. I was very disappointed as we had stayed in an Extended Stay earlier in our trip and it was nice - this one not so much.

This place is an OK place to stay if you are just looking for a place to stay a few nights. We booked a 1 bedroom suite not a deluxe suit they put us in. When I asked the front desk about getting the correct room she informed me that they didn’t even have those rooms. That also goes along with them advertising they have a pool. They do but it was green and unusable, they are apparently getting rid of it permanently. They make you pay to change your towels out and you can’t get more until the next day. The hallways stink and there are very weird people walking around late at night. The ice machine didn’t work so we couldn’t use that, and they also charge you $60 I believe if you want to use their dishes for your room and another fee in you want pans. None of this was on their website. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, I wish I would have paid a little more money for a better hotel.

The day I checked in there were garbage bags in the hallway, in the stairwell and next to the door to my room...Also, there was dirty laundry, socks and dirty t-shirts thrown in the hallway next to some of the rooms. This stuff sat in the hallways for days, as I stayed here for 10 days while working in the area. I tried and tried, even spent a lot of time on the phone with the \"tech support\" and was never able to access the \"free wifi\"
Awful...worst place I have stayed in almost 30 years of working on the road all over the U.S.

The location of the hotel was great. It’s in the middle of the beautiful beaches and the boardwalk. It’s also very close to restaurants, fast food places and grocery stores. Overall, it was overpriced for the property. The only good thing is its location, but even then there were a lot of strange people loitering outside the building. There was also a constant smell of marijuana and very noisy neighbors. There was also no night attendant, so I’m not too sure who you’re supposed to call if you have any issues throughout the night. They also claimed they were out of the usual complementaries: shampoo, lotion, etc. The best part of this hotel was the staff and how polite they were.

The staff made the hotel stay nice. There are some “interesting people” who loiter around the facility. We didn’t get any shampoo. I didn’t know there was a $100 deposit fee. We came to Destin on a budget so that wasn’t expected. The staff seem to really want the hotel to do well so they made the stay nice. There isn’t a 24 hour front desk so we did feel unsafe at night. It was nice to be locked into the hotel. We could get in and out with our hotel card. The location is excellent. It may help if they had a gated community. We enjoyed our trip.

Filthy and terrifying… pool was closed and full of green slimy water, their was long black hair all over the bathroom and on our “freshly” laundered towels that we had to pay a restocking fee for, ect. (There is so much more, I cannot possibly list it all). There were several displaced people smoking and drinking questionable substances while hovering near the front entrance, seemingly trying to get in with us when we entered with our key card access. Mean while, the registration window was locked down with security shutters, with no staff members on site.

Didn’t like at all had to move from 1st room because we couldn’t get into room with key. 2nd room smelled like dog urine. Room wasn’t to clean and very small. It had a kitchen with no pots or utensils so wasn’t usable. Pool was shut down and there was no free breakfast as listed online.
