Room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to lots of stores and food restaurants. Not a far walk to the beach and back.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel like others should know about our experience. We paid over **$1,100** for our stay, and it was nowhere near worth that price.
The biggest positive was **Edwin**, who was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff we encountered came across as rude and unwelcoming, which made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests.
The room itself was also disappointing. The hot water only stayed warm for a very short time, making it difficult for everyone in our family to shower comfortably. On top of that, the sheets and bed covers appeared dirty enough that I stripped the beds as soon as we checked in because I didn't feel comfortable letting my family sleep in them.
For the amount of money we spent, I expected a clean room, reliable hot water, and friendly customer service. Sadly, this hotel fell short in every one of those areas. I cannot recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

My family and I were very pleased with our stay at La Quinta. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean. I would like to see improvement in the breakfast area; I believe every single item on their breakfast menu exposes you to microplastic, nanoplastic, and/or styrofoam.
Mercedes
The hotel stay was okay. There was a lot of dogs barking throughout the night. The walls are not soundproof. It took us over an hour to check in. Our keys kept getting deactivated. It was also a hole in the wall in our room. Lighting isn’t all that great.
Ady
Very nice place to stay in my opinion, it was only my boy and myself ,clean and quiet. Breakfast included :)
Beach wasn’t far to go walking but with the heat I prefer to drive there is a free parking at the beach. I highly recommend it

We decided last minute to go to the beach, and this property was perfect. The staff was helpful and the facility was clean.

No me pareció las muchachas que hacen las limpiezas del cuarto, se ponen de tú a tú con el cliente, qparta duré 4 días en el hotel y nunca me cambiaron las sábanas!!
Robert
Close to the beach. You can walk to the beach. It is very hard to get a parking space if you drive your car to the beach.
Jennifer
We stayed there on one of the busiest weeks of the year for there and even with all the people, they had all our needs taken care of and kept the hotel premises clean and kept. Plenty of staff and we felt all our needs were met
Anny
Me encantó todos los servicios que nos brindaron todo el personal son excelentes y no tuve problemas en dejar a mi perrito en el hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay! The front desk team was incredibly welcoming, the room was large and spotless and the breakfast selection exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back.
Jerome
First impression wasn't good after noticing an issue with the bed. The staff addressed the problem and the stay was good otherwise.
On facility maintenance, the hotel is nice, but the accumulated trash out front should be kept to a minimum. There are way too many flies getting into the lobby which is a nuisance when trying to eat the breakfast offered by La Quinta or while sitting in the lobby.

So…the staff was welcoming the room was decently clean. However,…that hallway carpet was hideous, atrocious, and filthy. It needs a deep cleaning. The breakfast was subpar. The waffle mix was nasty. The food could have been better. I rate it a 5 out of 10. Please, don’t go to the bar.
OSCAR
The internet isn't very good, it's very slow.
The room was big but not clean at 100.
There was a lot of hair in the bathroom and the floor wasn't very clean.

Everything was very nice and clean, except for the ladder on the bunk bed, the second step was wobbly.
Bradley
Breakfast could have been better. They didn’t have much of an option. Other than that the place was extremely clean and the staff was friendly. I’d stay there again.

Lo único que no estuvo tan bien fue el desayuno del resto todo fue excelente

First of first, when I went to check in my room, the lady( she said she will get off at 3pm)in the reception did not sound welcomed and friendly. She was mean. I think she could have say it in a better way although there was no room available to check in at that time. Second, only her charged me a bottle of water, but when I asked the two other receptionist, they seems easy going and said you can just take it. I wouldn’t want to come back to this hotel again and definitely would not recommend it to my friends because of the poor customer service the lady provided. She kind of ruined my feelings and experience of staying in this hotel and my trip. Even my uber driver they were friendly than her.

Jessica
This hotel was okay. Nice pool area room was clean. The AC would not go down passed 76 degrees in the room. I tried everything and spoke with staff and they just kept telling me “Make sure the AC is on Auto setting and temperature set.” Which did not help at all. Also the air vent was loud and would make noises. Breakfast was not awful but every time I showed up they were always out of food and took awhile to restock then by the time food was restocked breakfast was ending. I know it can be busy especially around this time of the year but still. Probably will not be back unfortunately
Angela
Everything was great. No issues. Would stay again when we do our next vacation.

Me parecii muy bueno

The breakfast was the same every single day apart from that, it was cold. Sausage were overcooked. Eggs had no flavor .I stayed there 5 days and you would ask the kitchen staff for something and they were somewhat rude. you also have to ask every single day to get your room clean? And occasionally, they missed it. I had stayed there in the past two different occasions and it was good, which is why I decided to stay there. This third time, but unfortunately the experience was, i'm not that great.
Jasmin
The stay was great! Half a mile away from the beach, so we walked to and from the beach! Perfect location to where you can get to paced in reasonable time! The hotel was great, breakfast was great!

We spent Memorial Weekend at this hotel, primarily to enjoy the beach, and we were thoroughly impressed. Its proximity to Miramar Beach regional access made it incredibly convenient. The staff were not only friendly but also very accommodating, enhancing our stay. The hotel was impeccably clean, and we particularly loved the complimentary buffet breakfast. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our experience and would highly recommend this hotel. We definitely plan to book here again on our next trip to Destin.
Elizabeth
I had an issue with whatever was above my room! I called downstairs to reception three different times the first night at 6pm and 1am the second night at midnight as it sounded like Bigfoot was above my room. When I called the lady advised she would take care of it and clearly that was not the case. They also would not change my room even when I asked. during checkout I made the daytime receptionist know and she advised me that she most likely never called the other room or did anything and to reach out to Expedia. Well guess what I reached out to Expedia and they contacted the property and they told Expedia I never made any concerns or called! Um excuse me yes I did I called downstairs three times and asked for a room change! But yet you can’t accommodate a guest and have to lie about it! Won’t be staying there again as their customer service is horrible and they lie!

For the first time over our many stays at Laquinta (even at this location) the breakfast was LESS than, did not appear to be cared for. First time EVER having one gallon of milk to be used by all.

Great location. Nice clean hotel for teen & pet parents
Sally
Staff was professional and very nice. They did their best to fix all the things that were wrong.
1. I had to ask that fresh towels be delivered the next day. It was not done as an automatic service. No, the night person couldn't leave a note for day staff. I had to come back in the morning.
2. The room was permanently set at 61 degrees, and it took quite a while to get the temperature up to a liveable 70 degrees. We went out, and when we came back, it had reverted to 61. I fixed it again.
3. For two adults staying two nights, we had 1 washcloth and 1 tiny hand towel, plus three bath towels.
4. The queen beds had double bed top sheets on them that were turned sideways to make then wide enough. That left them too short lengthwise, so the covers only came up to my armpits. I am 5'2\" and had to squirm down to the bottom of the bed to get the covers over my shoulders. What would a tall person do?
5. The shower curtain was rumpled, thin fabric and too short,so water went all over the floor. Lower the rod.
6. I came down for breakfast the next morning and asked that towels be delivered. I was handed a generous stack to carry back to the room. Fearful that I might not get any breakfast, I took them up to my room and made it in time to the buffet.
8.A board of the faux wood flooring was coming up in the main traffic path of the room. I tripped on it twice.
9. Housekeepers should reset alarm clock to avoid it going off in the wee hours, which ruined the next day for me.

Clean rooms. Ample amount of parking. Great breakfast.

The staff was so kind and helpful. The room was clean, nicely decorated. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in!! Breakfast was ok, it was spring break so lots of families. Right next door is a wonderful Greek restaurant!! I always try to find a Wyndham!!
Ashley
The room was clean overall. However, there were sugar ants near the coffee machine. The door latch also would not lock behind me when leaving the room, and I had to have someone come fix it several times. Another issue was the bright exterior lights shining directly into the room at night. While the outside lighting was great for visibility and safety there was no additional shade or blackout coverage for the window, so I had to request a blanket to cover it in order to sleep well
Yamilet
Clean room, great staff
Stephanie
We were very pleased. The room was very large which was unexpected. Plenty of room to stretch out over the 3 day stay. The room and all common areas were very clean as well as the parking lot which was very well lit. Breakfast was served each morning and had a nice assortment of items to pick from. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Jennifer at the front desk was a real pleasure to deal with. As we were originally booked at another hotel and had to be placed in other accommodations last minute by Expedia, we were so glad it was here. We will book here from now on when in the area.

Nice hotel, 15 min walking or 2 min driving of beach. Nice staff and amenities. Breakfast is okay, but they finish serving it at 9AM which it is bit earlier than many other hotels.
