The reservation was canceled due to coming to stay with mold on the bathroom, loud banging upstairs, empty shampoo bottles left in the bathtub, dusty and stained bedding. Also almost fell walking in the building since there was only salt right in front of the door.

The condition of this property did not match what was advertised. The hotel and the room were active construction zones, with visible damage, unfinished work, dust, and materials throughout. This environment is not suitable for guests.
At check-in, I was given keys to three rooms that were already occupied, which is a serious security concern. The room I ultimately stayed in had a non-working TV, a refrigerator leaking blue chemicals that ruined our food, missing basic supplies, and no heat turned on despite an expected winter storm.
Pet-friendly rooms shown online were not available upon arrival, and the pet fee charged was higher than the rate listed. Cleanliness was poor, cigarette odors were present, exterior doors were unsecured, and room keys repeatedly failed. I was also charged multiple fees at check-in that were not clearly explained.
Based on the conditions and discrepancies, I would book somewhere else and believe anyone staying at this location does warrant a refund.

The staff was nice. Affordable lodging. There was pee on the floor from a previous pet, a funky odor to the room, the kick plate to front door of room wasnt secured and i triped on it. The sink vanity molding was also coming off and possible poop or food stuck to side of matress. This place wouldnt be bad if better attended.

Our bathtub had an actual dirt ring around the inside. The tub had a used nasal breather patch stuck on the wall. They had 4 gallon box of sulfuric acid in the public hallway. Worst hotel experience ever for me.

No shampoo container. No stir sticks or hot cup lids. Terrible programing on TV. No Hallmark. Remote did not work well. Dining area was not clean. The juice machine was turned sideways and not working. Only one waffle maker for many people. No rolls, only white bread spread in the roll display. Only one person there manning the whole building when we arrived and also taking care of things in the morning, but a couple of guys came to try to unlock the pool door. The pool was not available. The clerk at the desk had said some kids had locked it from the inside and they were not able to open it. Why was there no key in the facility that would open the door to the pool? Fan in the bathroom was very loud.

The internet was slow. The shower had visible mold. The wall to the room was falling apart. The counter to the sink in the bathroom was falling apart. The hot tub tile had been painted and that was peeling off onto our skin and into the water.
The \"do not disturb \" sign was ignored and both mornings we were disturbed by housekeeping. The first day was at 11am and the next day at 8:40am! The second morning they also attempted to open the door!
The breakfast was complimentary but there was not much for a selection. Just milk to drink, no juice. The juice machine seemed to be set aside. Not even being used. There were eggs, sausage, cereal, bread, and yogurt. The waffle machine was available and working well.
The coffee bar was minimal with minimal options.
I woke up feeling unwell.
The sheets seemed to be clean.

The part we stayed in was dated, white blankets had stains, only was given 1 used roll of toilet paper, 2 towels, and when they came in to \"clean\" they just took the trash out. They did not make beds, leave clean towels, or more toilet paper. Breakfast was not kept up, even with an hour left.
Good value for quick cheap stay,
Not good for longer than 2 nights.

The bed was comfortable. The TV didn't work. The clock was loud so had to unplug it. The morning breakfast was dismal at best. The pancakes were terrible. There was no beverage (juice/water). They only had milk and coffee to drink. They only had over ripe bananas for fruit. I will never stay here again.

The common areas and room were not very clean. The room had dirt and debris from a previous occupant on counters and the bathroom was not wiped down/cleaned thoroughly. The breakfast area was not fully working, no coffee/juice options. The food was minimal at best. I would not return and would select another option if in the area again.

Has potential but needs an overall update

Overall, the hotel smelled clean when we entered but our room had an odd smell when we walked in. The condition of the bathroom was awful. Felt like it was crumbling apart. The hotel needs an update really bad!
The bed was the best part of the room. It was comfortable and the sheets smelled and looked clean. The continental breakfast was very sad looking.(even the bananas were over ripe) Coffee was not too bad.

Bed was very high for the 5'-1\" traveler. She needed help getting into the bed, which was a first in years of traveling -- and embarrassing.
The bed also was quite hard, which made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience and pains in her neck in the morning.
The only \"egg disc\" that seemed to be at a safe temperature was the one at the very bottom of the dish. The rest weren't close to a safe hot temp of 140 degrees.
Additionally, the waffle maker didn't cook the waffle mix completely, so the centers had uncooked ... milk? some dairy product? I spit out the one bite I took for fear of food poisoning.
My granddaughter said the sausage and waffle she had didn't taste right. Only the syrup did. She ate before I did, so I couldn't warn her about the food safety issue.
I paid over $100 for this stay. Never will go there again and will be suspicious of any Days Inn by Wyndham.

Property is rundown. Bathroom had holes in the wall. Candy on the floor of our room. Bright red so kind of hard to miss if you were paying attention at all when vacuuming. Whole property smelled damp, especially our room.even after running the air conditioning for 2 days it was damp. No iron or iron board in room. Went to front desk to get one and was given a dodgy iron and miniature tabletop ironinboard but the legs kept collapsing so i went to my event looking pretty wrinkled. Bedding had some stains. Pool had peeling paint floating in the water. There were no towels available at the pool. We have stayed at older properties before that were maintained very well. This one is not. I believe all of the 10/10 reviews are fake done by the owners.

We were in room 118 and it had a horrid musty smell to it. It was Country Fest weekend so no hopes of finding another hotel. It was a very warm and humid weekend with feel like temps over 100 degrees. They don't run the air when nobody is staying in the room and it just was so bad smelling. After a day or so of running the ac in the room the musty smell did not get better and then we could smell dog pee. The shower leaked really bad. They have full size bottles of shampoo and body wash attached to the shower wall but not locked so God only knows what someone could put in the bottles. Very sketchy! There are no coffee makers or coffee in the rooms. The door itself on the inside was broken. The pool area was clean. The hot tub does not want to turn on as you have to hold the button for a long time to get it to turn on. The breakfast was \"frozen\" sausages and \"frozen eggs\" that you were to warm up in the microwave they had on the counter. Hostess Twinkies and Hostess Cupcakes were offered in the pastry and doughnut case. They had several dry cereals to choose from. The bananas were brown and the mandarin oranges were dried up. We come to Eau Claire a lot and will never stay here again. Room 118 needs to be gutted!

One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed.
- Stained carpet in room (blood?)
- Heater was on or off. No middle. Sweat or freeze all night.
- Toilet wiggled and rotated.
- One inner window pane missing.
- Towels were stained.
- Rate was higher than the posted rate in the room.
- 2 lamps wouldn’t turn on.
- No coffee or juice in breakfast area.
- Waffles or syrup were sour.
- Staff wouldn’t discuss a refund - insisted I talk to the manager after 11 am.
- Front entry was snow covered.
- Random dirty towel stuffed into open water controls next to vending machine.
- Open door to mechanical service room.
Do not stay here.

Couple of surprises

The first room i entered with my key was already occupied by some young men. Greatful that i was just doorsdiwn from the office. As a woman traveling alone - that could have gone all kinds of wrong. The room was clean, spacious. The bed cizy with soft clean sheets. I was disappointed when i could not figure out how to access the pool area. It was dark, locked and no information about how to use ut.

Very very dated. Ceiling in the bathroom obviously had a leak because the popcorn paint had peeled away and greenboard was installed. Old towel bar ends were in place (no bar) and new towel bar was hung on different wall.

The hotel is good for the price. They appear to be updating. Painters tape still up in room. No shampoo or shower gel in shower. Both were empty. Only two towels.
Breakfast was very limited. This could be a great location with a little more effort and attention to detail.

The property needs updated. Chips in the paint on the walls in the room & hallways. While swimming in the pool I could feel that paint loose on the floor of the pool as well. Only 1 towel was available in the pool area as well.

When I arrived the front desk attendant seemed to be on the phone with the police about a man who had just been at the desk and seemed to have been a guest. The attendant still checked me in as quickly as he could between providing information to the person on the other end of the call. He was friendly and helpful, but the fact the call was necessary made me feel somewhat unsafe. The room had elements that resembled the photos, but was definitely old with just newer furniture, and the room had a somewhat strong and not altogether pleasant smell, despite appearing clean. Likely can't clean the smell away anymore without replacing carpets and draperies.

The room had black stains on the floor and the desk chair also had stains or didn't seem clean. I asked the desk clerk about it when I checked out; clerk said stain was from hair dye from a previous guest. I didn't swim because the pool looked cloudy. The condition of the room made it feel like management didn't care. Many other rooms had doors ajar with renovation or reflooring projects. Breakfast provision was minimal. The whole experience was below Days Inn standards.

Overall, good stay for an overnight drive.

(+) Clean and comfortable room, bed, pillow, and sheets. Which is probably 90% of what I needed for the night.

(-) The TV remote in my room wasn't working well, but I made do. The bathroom looked like it was in midway through a renovation. But it was clean and usable. It was missing the exhaust fan, the paint above the shower liner was chipping, and there were clear signs that wall patching still needed to be completed. But, the shower liner looked new(ish), the shower worked well and I had good running hot water for my shower. So serviceable for my overnight needs.
