The hotel is located in easy walking distance to the centre of Eisenach. It has a themed interior and a splendid restaurant giving the impression that you are moved to Luther's times. The staff is very helpful.

In addition to being a short walk from the old town of Eisenach, as mentioned above, Hotel Eisenacher Hof is directly below the Wartburg Castle (although this is a long, steep walk for those who go on foot). I don't believe that the hotel building is as old as some of its historic surroundings but it blends in perfectly. They stage a Luther-themed dinner show but I didn't see it to comment.

Ein tolles Hotel, das auf mittelalterlichem Flair eingerichtet ist. Es besitzt eine kleine Tiefgarage. Das Einbettzimmer das ich hatte war nicht gerade groß, aber zum Übernachten völlig ausreichend. Das Personal, das mir alle wünsche erfüllt hat, ist ganz lieb und bekommt von mir ein besonderes Lob.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Ein Manko ist lediglich, dass kein Fahrstuhl vorhanden ist. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, ebenso das urige Restaurant.

Als 4 Sterne Hotel ausgeschrieben - kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, kein Lift, Treppensteigen bis unter das Dach, dann Kopf einziehen da Schrägen den Weg versperren, Zimmer sehr klein, Möbel abgewohnt, viel zu großer Schrank im Zimmer - noch weniger Platz, der Lüfter im fensterlosen Bad war defekt, Tür vom Zimmer auf - schon roch alles nach Gaststätte.

Das Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung. Auch der Flur. Die ausgelobten Waffeln konnten nicht gebacken werden da daas Gerät defekt war. Sollte dann von der Tafel genommen werden. Auch die Lösung sich als Mann die Hände auf der Damentoilette zu waschen war auch suboptimal. Führte direkt zu einer Diskussion mit einer Damen auf der Toilette.
