Wonderful stay

Wonderful stay at Penta Hotel. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area. Beautiful location with a view. Very comfortable and clean room. The breakfast in the mornings were great. Very large selection and variety. We will be looking for Penta hotels when we travel to Europe again.

A few things worth noting:
Like many hotels in Europe, no air condition and no fan in the room.

Bedding doesn’t include a cover sheet, only a heavy comforter.

Lighting in bathroom is inadequate and on a short timer.

Other than this, the room was clean and comfortable

Due to lack of air conditioning we left balcony door open to cool room. Result is we heard lots of noise, e.g. loud talking and trains. Early morning we could hear a guest using the walking machine in the fitness room. Very uncomfortable pillows were provided. Not even a slightly firm pillow is provided.

Great service, decent location, needs coffee pot.

The hotel is situated up on a rather steep hill and it is a short walk down to the closest bus stop. We drove so this didn't impact us. The hilltop location provides a very nice backdrop for the building. Our room had a nice little balcony (that doubled as a fridge because it was winter and there was not a fridge in the room, but that is common in Germany). The desk staff were very friendly and efficient. We did not eat at the restaurant or bar but they both looked very modern and accommodating. The city center of Eisenach is a few minutes drive away but is well worth the trip.

The only real negatives we found at this hotel were the lack of coffee pot/hot water kettle or other way to make coffee in the room and the lack of a room fridge, but we expected not to have a fridge.

Overall, we would absolutely stay here again.

Overall very good. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Wifi is only available to connect to 1 device which is a problem if you have a laptop and phone (as many people do). Also the radiator pipes were noisy (I'm a light sleeper) so I moved rooms after the first night.

Good business type hotel

The hotel location is good if you have a car and want to be near the Opel factory. It's not near the tourist sites. It's a good hotel with all the expected things like a good breakfast included in the room rate. The fitness center was closed for renovation (bummer). For the price I was pleased overall. It's not particularly charming or romantic--suitable mostly for single business travelers.

Clean, fun hotel

This was my first stay at a pentahotel, and I would stay there again. The lobby and restaurant were welcoming and inviting, and the room was clean and well maintained. This hotel has a small balcony on each room - this was both a nice and an unexpected feature. We also had dinner at the restaurant with our 2 year-old toddler - the food was good, and the staff was accommodating. The location isn't really convenient for sight-seeing in Eisenach, but it was not difficult to travel into town by car.

Great mid-point stop off in Germany

Hotel is in a great location on the edge of town (so plenty of parking) and Eisenach is great place to stop if you're crossing Germany. Hotel staff are great and friendly, the breakfast spread is good and the hotel is clean with some funky touches (the Anatomicals wash bags in the rooms are super). I only rate it 4 overall as they charge extra for the Wifi and there isn't a swimming pool. Despite the trendy appearance of Penta hotels they are very accommodating for children.

Overpriced for Being So Far From Town

The hotel is clean, and the staff do a good job with both German and English. That said, it was disappointing that the hotel didn't offer free wi-fi, a shuttle into town (it is a 10 euro cab ride one-way to the town of Eisenach), or appropriate accommodations for three guests (we had two twin beds). I also felt that while the food at the hotel restaurant was tasty, it was overpriced; a sandwich with fries was about 15 euros, and the breakfast buffet was almost 20 euro per person. We didn't have a bad experience at this hotel, but if I go to Eisenach again, I will try to book someplace in town. Not having a car at this hotel made us feel stranded.

Excellent hotel, but a little out of town

This is a new hotel in excellent condition, with great facilities and a nice restaurant/bar on the ground floor. It is a little bit out of town, but the taxi ride to and from Eisenach (town center or train station) is only about 12 Euros. Forget about public transport though, way too spaced-out a schedule. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

The rooms are American-style big hotel rooms, with flat-screen TV, nice big beds, marble-plated bathrooms with rain shower heads. Internet access via WiFi works well, but is too costly at over 5 Euros per day. The free bottle of water is a nice touch, and drinks at the bar are competitively priced (lose the elderberry tonic in the Gin and Tonics though, that stuff is nasty). Same goes for the bar and dinner menu (try the carpaccio).

Overall, this hotel is an excellent value for your money. Definitely recommended, would use again.

Great mid-point stop off the motorway

Good location for traveling across Germany, plenty of parking, decent sized rooms, nice breakfast buffet, good bathrooms (love the Anotomicals toiletries they supply). Only needs a swimming pool :) Friendly English speaking staff. Decor is quite cool too. Wake up and get a view of the Opel car factory that's surrounded by forests (if you're into the Germany manufacturing scene).

THe hotel was fine despite being almost devoid of tourist information .Considering its distance from the town, a good local map is essential for visitors.The bus service is infrequent and still a good hike away. Seemed geared to business conferences rather than the individual traveller.

This hotel is very nice. It has a fun decor including disco balls for the lights in the lobby. It is a bit difficult to get to, but for the price and amenities it is very nice. My husband and I had a great time while there. Beautiful view of Wartburg castle from room too!

Not bad, but not cheap - must have tolerance for kitsch

Pros: very clean. Desk staff reasonably friendly. Beds OK for comfort at this price. Has balconies, if small, for practically every room.

Cons: Breakfast (14 euros) not included in price, but it's very hard to find cheaper in town when nothing's open until 10 AM on a Sunday. Need a car to reach Eisenach or the Wartburg, as this hotel is not on a bus line. Parking often full at night.

Laughs: Feels like a 21st century update on 1970s kitsch in colors, furniture, frills and lighting. Front door window and hallways have a fascination for disco balls that turn on at night. Definitely not a quaint German hotel. ;-)

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Penta Hotel Eisenach und hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel liegt ruhig, etwa zehn Fahrminuten vom Stadtzentrum Eisenachs entfernt. Besonders gefallen hat uns die moderne und stylishe Lobby – ein echter Hingucker – sowie das freundliche, junge Personal. Vor dem Hotel gibt es viele Parkplätze (5 € pro Nacht), was super praktisch ist. Unser Zimmer war sauber, großzügig geschnitten und bot alles, was man für eine Nacht braucht. In der Lobby kann man sich beim Dart, Billard oder Tischkicker die Zeit vertreiben – eine coole Idee! Die Hotelbar ist zwar eher hochpreisig, bietet aber eine große Auswahl an Getränken und Snacks. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Leider gab es kein lokales Bier. Trotzdem insgesamt ein gelungener Aufenthalt!

Liegt außerhalb von Eisenach in einem ruhigen Gewerbegebiet. Ausblick auf das Opel-Werk und in der Ferne auf die Wartburg.
Zimmer, Betten hervorragend, keine Dusche sondern Badewanne mit Duscharmatur. Frühstück hervorragend aber teuer.
Sauna und Fitnessstudio klein aber sehr gut. Zugang von 8 - 22 Uhr.
Wasserkaraffe kann man immer gratis füllen lassen. Restaurant mit kleiner Karte zu Preisen, die okay sind.
Parkplatz muss zusätzlich bezahlt werden, es gibt aber freie Parkplätze wenig Schritte entfernt.

Für eine Nacht OK

Der Check-in verlief freundlich und kompetent. Mein erstes Zimmer (#344) musste ich in der Nacht tauschen, da die Heizungsgeräusche unerträglich waren.
Mein neues Zimmer (#304) war ruhiger.
Allgemein kann man aber sagen, dass die Zimmer nun endlich mal ein Update benötigen. Die Böden sind nicht mehr besonders ansehnlich und auch das Mobiliar wirkt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zudem wäre es wünschenswert, wenn mehr auf Sauberkeit geachtet würde. In beiden Zimmern konnte ich im Bad Haare des Vorgängers finden, teilweise hingen Spinnweben von der Decke und die Vorhänge wiesen eine deutliche Verschmutzung auf. Das Abendessen (Angus Burger) war super und preislich sehr fair. Frühstück wurde nicht gewählt. Der Check-Out verlief ebenfalls wieder sehr freundlich und kompetent. Insgesamt verlasse ich das Haus mit gemischten Gefühlen - besonders hinsichtlich der Sauberkeit.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, sehr nettes Personal. Aber beim Frühstück zu wenig Plätze. Es war sehr unruhig und voll und die ganze Zeit suchten die Gäste einen Platz. Wir wurden an der Bar zum Warten platziert, aber dann vergessen, andere gingen einfach rein und bekamen Platz. Ein Schild \"Sie werden Platziert\" und eine Abtrennung z.B. Seil würden wir definitiv empfehlen und zusätzliche Plätze unbedingt!

Sehr freundliches Personal, ein überdurchschnittlich gutes Hotel-Restaurant. Sehr komfortables Zimmer. Winzige Kritikpunkte sind der Fernsehempfang mit wenigen, unscharfen Sendern und die Dusche, die sich in der Badewanne befindet. Der Badewanneneinstieg ist sehr hoch und der Wannenboden ist gewölbt mit minimaler Stehfläche, sodass das Duschen recht gefhrlich ist, weil man von der Wannenwölbung abrutscht.

Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich, aber nur an den ausgewaschenen und unförmigen T- Shirts zu erkennen. Das minderte das Hotelgefühl.
Im Zimmer wimmelte es an der Heizung hinter der Gardine an Spinnweben auch die Abdeckung des Herdes war staubig.
Sonst gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Ich hatte bereits auch an Penta eine Beurteilung geschrieben. Leider hatte ich ein Zimmer mit Ausblick auf eine große Solaranlage, obwohl beschrieben war, dass der Ausblick auf die Wartburg ist. Zudem funktionierte die Toilette ab der Übernachtungsnacht nicht. Als ich dieses morgens monierte, lächelte die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption. Am Knopfdruck der Toilette war bereits ein Schild feste drücken, aber fester wie ich gedrückt habe, ging es niht

Leider war unser Bad nicht sauber, Toilette unterm Toilettendeckel waren unsauber.
In unserem Waschbecken war ein Riss der vom Abfluss bis zum oberen Ende ging.
Die Fliesen in der Badewannendusche hatten Fugen Schimmel und dessen Abfluss war ekelig.
Zimmer hat beim rein gehen bereits etwas gestunken/ gemüffelt, wahrscheinlich durch den Teppichboden, der geruch ging durch lüften leider nicht weg.

Nun das Positive.
Betten waren sauber, auch unter den Laken.
Tisch war gereinigt, Fernseher hatte keinen Staub darauf Sitzen.
Spiegel waren Fett Streifen-frei.
Alle Knöpfe (Lichtschalter, Heizungstermostat, Fernbedienung) funktionierten ohne Probleme und waren sauber.
Getränke am Abend/ Cocktails waren Vorzüglich.
Frühstücksbuffet war vielseitig und Lecker.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort und hatten trotzdem sehr viel Spaß in Eisenach.
Das überaus freundliche Personal hat unsere Zeit sehr verschönert.
Wieder liebend gerne.

Modern und Trendy

Sehr schönes, modernes und freundliches Hotel wo man sich gleich wohl fühlt.
Tolle Bar und wirklich riesiges Frühstück mit sämtlichen Eierspeisen, Kaffeeautomat, Brötchenauswahl und Obst.
Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen.
Sauna und Fitnessstudio ist ebenfalls mal vorhanden. Ruhige und gute zentrale Lage.
Wenn ich Dienstlich in Eisenach unterwegs bin, ist dieses Hotel meine erste Wahl.

Frühstück 20 € unverschämt zimmerpreise zu teuer
Wo soll das noch hinführen wenn man für ein Zimmer für 3 Übernachtungen mit Frühstück über vierhundert € bezahlen muss vor einem halben Jahr hat das nicht mal 300€ gekostet Mit freundlichen Grüßen Edmund Lang

Flot og specielt hotel med super hyggelig indretning.
Fantastisk morgenbuffet!
Fint for familier med større børn. Der var bordfodbold, dart og poolbord.
Fin beliggenhed, selvom det er uden for bymidten.Dejlig udsigt.

Nettes Personal!

Soweit ok und nette Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Der Preis ist zu hoch für diese Kategorie von Zimmern bzw. Hotel, war aber auch nahezu komplett ausgebucht und daher hatte ich wohl den „Restposten“ als Zimmer. Aber wie gesagt, alles soweit in Ordnung.
