It was okay. I get the vibe someone bought a crappy motel 6 thinking they could fix it up. Then it was to much money and effort to make it food. The room is decent but feels like there is nice stuff in a subpar space. The breakfast was unbelievably disappointing. Cold serial or a stereotypical waffle maker. No eggs bacon sausage or bagels. It was bad, like the juice.

The room was smelly like urine and there wert enough towels for a two night stay , kiddie toilet , and counter top had cracks, also there wasn’t a chair to sit in only a foot stool , I had to go to grocery to buy a candle and disinfectant spray to absorb the odor.

Everything, from sticky furniture, to left over soap from last guest with hair on it, to light bulbs blown over sink area and they didn't fix it, they left it that way. They left an elderly man with a walker without light over the wash area.. I told them to move my father because he didn't need a trip and fall accident because he couldn't see in the dark area.

The room smelled moldy, the air conditioner sounded like a jet trying to take off...it was very loud. Tub faucet was dripping. Mold around the caulking of the tub. Sheets were dirty. Table was dirty and had some kind of dried up sauce on it. We ended up going to walmart and buying bleach spray to sanatize table and tub before we could use them. There was loud music all night and major fighting and screaming that the staff did nothing to remedy and seems that is \"normal\" at this hotel. We ended up leaving a day early because we no longer felt safe there (no refund on our prepaid stay) and rented from Comfort Suites which was much better and very attentive and clean. Will never stay at this Super 8 again, but if youre in Covington, i highly recommend the Comfort Inn we ended up at.

The room was basically clean, bed was comfortable, and room spacious. However, the floors weren't clean, and there was mold in one corner of the tub wall. The fridge would make noises off and on, making it harder to fall asleep. The breakfast could be improved with greater variety. After 2 mornings, we decided to eat elsewhere. The hotel is conveniently located close to I-12 and in between Covington and Mandeville. The place would be okay for a one-night stay, but since we stayed 3 nights, I wished I had stayed somewhere with slightly higher reviews and better breakfast.

A bit outdated Motel. For our stay it was mostly working construction workers and utility workers that seem to stop in for a night. Very limited in what’s provided.. Had to go to the front for a bar of soap. Best part is it centrally located. If you’re just crashing for the night for a bed and a shower prob will do.

The night kept getting worse

Desk manager argued with my husband over two AA batteries for their TV remote.
-Broken furniture and broken appliances including bathroom fan vent.
-Killed 3 cockroaches throughout the night including one in our bed with us.
-Security that they advertise was practically non-existent.
-Burns in multiple spots on both window curtains and bed sheets.

Other than those issues however the hotel provided what we wanted. A closed off vacation for just me and my husband to enjoy a quiet night.

I was greeted warmly by the receptionist when I checked in around 7 pm, in a clean and tidy room. However, it was a shame that the air conditioner was a bit noisy (224), the amenities were incomplete in my opinion, because there was only shampoo, conditioner, no soap, no shampoo. The mattress was clean, overall I like Super 8, thank you.

Could use some spring cleaning/repairs

This place needs some major deep cleaning and some repairs. Room smelled musty, bathroom needs new caulk, old tub had a fist sized chip in it, sink stopper not functioning and laying out on the side. Sink dirty, black fingerprint smudges all over door and bathroom door. Keep your shoes on when walking on floor. Overall surfaces dirty. Towels and sheets seemed clean but not fresh smelling. Water was hot and fixtures worked. Fridge and AC worked good. Staff was friendly. Breakfast had waffles, cereal, milk was fresh, bread for toaster and granola bars.

The room was not worth what we paid. Breakfast was terrible. No coffee. Rancid waffle batter-it was sour and spoiled. no one to attend to the “buffet.” I asked the young lady at the desk for help. She said ok and did NOTHING. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come to bring fresh batter, food or make coffee. No one came! Finally, I went through the cabinets and found coffee, so I made a pot of coffee myself! (The lady behind the desk didn’t care-she was playing on her phone the whole time). Other guests came in and were pleased to see that there was at least coffee to go with the nutragrain bars. It was the worst breakfast and stay at any hotel I’ve ever had. The desk people did not care. The lady who checked us in was not friendly. Her shirt said that “sarcasm was a service she offers” It appears to be the only service they offer. Terrible staff. The room and bed were ok, definitely not worth what we paid. This hotel is not Super 8 quality. I will never stay there again.

Skip this one.

Yuck. When is the last time you stayed in a hotel with sheets that were not white? These were pink. I think they were from the 1970s along with the pillows. It was disappointing and we slept without moving and left as soon as possible.

Lot of men hanging around outside the rooms which also made me uneasy.

Overpowering cleaning products that had my eyes watering and my nose sneezing. The front desk person was amazing. She helped me change to a less offensive smelling room. I unpacked, only to find out no TV remote. She brought in 3 different remotes but couldn’t get them hooked up. She offered to move me again but I declined as I had been driving all day. Night one was quiet but our sheets had holes all in them and the toilet was loose and wobbled on the floor.
We paid for all 3 nights of our stay upon arrival. On night 2 our keys did not work so we had to get new keys. Then people arrived into the room next to ours and proceeded to rearrange furniture and start screaming and yelling and playing very loud music. We called the front desk,which we had to dial from outside because there is no phone in the room. The next door room settled and then thw noise resumed about 30 minutes larer. And it continued most of the night along with the smell of marijuana wafting into our room. We barely got any sleep. On the third night our keys didn't work again and we had to get new keys. Once we were settled and fell asleep we were awakened by a roach in the bed. We turned on the lights and saw roaches on the floor and in our shoes. They were everywhere. We left at 1 am and slept on the couch at a family members. It was horrible.

Stayed there for 4 days/4 nights. Bed was ok. Nothing special for a 2 star motel. You can see that the motel is old. Doors need to be painted, lots of cracks on bathroom floor. Biggest downside is during my 4 day/ 4 nights, no one came to check/clean the room. I had to hunt down the cleaning lady to exchange my towels. Towels are very thin and stained due to age of towels. Clean towels but yellow stained on half of them. Seems same towels for last 10 years. Not bad if you going to stay one night. You get what you pay for.

I am a regular at this hotel, staying once a week for work. I find the rooms in the 120 and up better than the rooms in the 100-105 range. I have been blessed to have excellent service - usually from a young woman named Niesha. (sp?) Always smiling. Always patient and accommodating. The rare times I've had a problem with a room, she has taken care of it promptly. Super 8 is fortunate to have her. I have stayed at the two local adjacent hotels and the accommodations may be a tad better, but the ease of the registering and getting my key with a smile usually has me choosing Super 8.

Was moved by management twice during my 3 night stay. Once because we found a previous guest’s body hair all over the bed. Housekeeping failed to change the bed sheets. Second time, housekeeping left my door open and didn’t shut it. It wasn’t til I arrived that I discovered my room wide open. They changed my room again, only to discover more body hair in the third room. Their hot breakfast consisted of cereal and toast. If you’re lucky you can maybe get some eggs, but they don’t refill the one tiny pan (20oz). Area is really unsafe. This hotel houses people that were once drug addicts. So twice I heard people throwing a “party” and disrupting everyone else’s sleep.

The front desk was very friendly. They always offered us some King Cake whenever we entered the lobby. The only thing I have a complaint about was the housekeeper never came to my room to clean up at all . Thanks for having the room stocked up with plenty of towels and toiletries because again they never came to the room even when I was gone. I finally saw a housekeeper and she was very rude stating time to get out when we were packing up very unprofessional. But overall I would highly recommend it because we did not have to do any driving because everything is in walking distance .

We checked in at 3 pm. The person came to the desk when we rang, but was unfriendly- as if we were bothering her. The lobby appeared clean. The room on the other hand was not clean and was in dire need of upgrades. The tub/shower was unusable because of the mold. The floors were strange-new tile in a square at the door-trip hazard. There was some kind of dried up liquid(looked like milk) on the TV stand. We opened the mini fridge only to quickly close it due to the odor. See the photos…Definitely do not recommend.

The room was in pretty bad shape. The entire sink was cracked. The sheetrock over the tub was patched but not painted. The doors were filthy so was pretty much everything else. Everything was super old with a tiny little TV. They don't take out the trash, they'll supposedly change your linens if you put the sign out on the door, but that doesn't work either. It was a good thing. Thing all I did was sleep there at night cuz you really could be in that room for very long.

Horrible. We usually stay around the corner at we stay. They were full so we decided to stay here because they have a frig, microwave and coffee pot according to website. Nope no coffee pot. When we checked in and were in the parking lot getting our luggage. There were lots of people hanging out drink beer and smoking pot. There was a lady sleeping in a car right in front of our room. The checkin clerk, although nice was a little wierd. He shows up in the parking lot and says i opened your door for you. He had came out opened the door and left it cracked. In the room, the floor was dirty, along with the shower. The toilet was clogged and there was no lamp shade on the lamp. We called the office about the toilet multiple times. No answer at all. After a few hours we just left. To make matters worse someone stole the grease caps off our horse trailer. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Check in was ok. I had to ask about breakfast and in what direction my room was.. toilet was about to fall over. Set down and it moved back in forth. Shower was completely clogged hairs backed up in the shower with soap scum, dried up food on pillow case, stains all over comforter. No eggs or sausage at breakfast. And No fruit of any kind. They were out. Coffee cup lids were all out, best part was Waffle House is within walking distance in the next parking lot. Lady at desk was doing absolutely nothing. Ive stayed in my share of bad hotels this by far is the worst. I’ll never forget it.
