Central location in Landeck. Great stay, be aware that tgere is no parking at the hotel, but plenty of paid parking near by. Max 2 hrs from 8.00am on road. Free 6.00pm to 8.00am.

Fine hotel overall. However, they didn’t consistently provide the first rule of hotels, which is to offer guests the opportunity for a good night’s sleep. The maid vacuumed the hallway outside of our room at 6:30 AM for two mornings until we complained (then she stopped).
The other problem was the restaurant, which had several things wrong with it. I would rate the restaurant at no more than two stars. It is the weak link in an otherwise solid hotel. The strong link was the front desk, which gets five stars.

The hotel offers an excelent location, clean facilities, comfortable and clean bed, friendly staff, a very wholesome breakfast, a very good price, and free secure parking for bicycles. Overall, excellent. The only negative is that for breakfast we were seated away from the rest of the customers in a reserved table, but the holel manager decided to hold an animated staff meeting in the adjacent room. We would have enjoyed being seating with the rest of the customers.

We were initially put in a room that did not include the view our reservation promised. After asking, we were moved to a larger, nicer room with a large patio and spectacular views. Good service. Nice dining area for breakfast.

The hotel is neat and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient. I was quite happy with my room. It would not hurt to have a rudimentary coffee maker at the room as expected in North American hotels at a 3 star level or above. I skied at St Anton am Arlberg. It is ~25 min drive from the hotel by car. BTW, there is no free dedicated parking for the guests. The closest \"City Parking\" garage caused me a lot of bad blood. It turns out it is actually \"very private\".

It turned out that before you exit you should walk to an automated pay terminal and insert your entry ticket and pay in cash and get a receipt and then you have 6 min to exit or you will be charged extra and the exit gate bar will not raise and then at some moment an indignant owner will appear and will start yelling at you in German. I stalled there two times and was solemnly banished from the facility. I recommend a public garage across the river that is actually about the same distance if one takes a walking bridge across the river. The price is about the same 7 or 8 euros per day.

Located in the heart of Landeck. Cute little town within a few miles of several ski resorts. Hotel is clean and neat. Good breakfast. Get a room on the second floor if you can - the views are great. Parking is available and is not expensive (there are several options) but you usually do have to pay at least a little.

The check in clerk told us we had our choice of two rooms and showed them to us first to let us decide which one we wanted. It's located in the bottom of a narrow alpine river valley with spectacular views. We would definitely stay there again.

We booked a room at the last minute for a ski weekend and were extremely pleased with all aspects of Hotel Schrofenstein. The room was very clean, comfortable and roomy, especially with the \"cozy corner\" space, and the bathroom was very nice. The staff were extremely friendly and all spoke good English, and provided great service. We even met the owner, who came around at dinner each night, and we had a nice conversation with him and got great tips for ski areas. The food was excellent, especially the beef medallions and chocolate mousse! We recommend the \"half board\" option, which gave a 5-course meal with 2 entrée choices of traditional fare. All meals were delicious, especially the full breakfast with choice of eggs. We skied St. Anton one day and Ischgl the next...both about 15-20 minutes away by car. Good location near many ski areas, and the town of Landeck is very nice as well. Will definitely visit this hotel again!!

Landeck is a great home-base for the Tirol region's skiing. We could have hit a different mountain every day (but instead went to Isghl twice since the snow was so good).
The hotel staff was perfect. We had half-board (breakfast & dinner) included in the room rate and while the breakfasts were good, the 5 course dinners were amazing each night. My compliments to the chef!

Greit å parker ned mot elva. Brukte hotellet som base for skiturer til Ischgl, Sölden og St. Anton. Frokost kl. 07 var litt sent for oss hvis vi skulle rekke opp til skistedene, så vi spiste bare frokost på hotellet den siste dagen hvor vi ikke skulle på ski.

Das Bett war alt und hart. Meine Seite der Matratze war durchgelegen und schief, sodass man im Schlaf ständig herausrollte. Es war total unbequem. Wir zahlten etwas über 200 € pro Nacht, aber es war nicht mehr als 100 € wert. Die Dame an der Rezeption tagsüber war wunderbar. Die beiden jungen Frauen abends waren nicht so hilfsbereit und freundlich wie die Mitarbeiterin tagsüber.

Im Rittersaal war eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft, die war sehr laut und das lange in die Nacht hinein.

Ein schon etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel aber sauber. Den Kellner des hauseigenen Restaurants sollte man vielleicht noch mal eine Schulung zum Thema „Höflichkeit gegenüber dem Gast“ zuteil werden lassen. Das Essen war aber sehr gut.

Leider enttäuschender Service
Unangekündigt war das Restaurant Bis 16.12. geschlossen, nicht einmal ein Getränk konnte man konsumieren. Lediglich zum Frühstück wurde das Restaurant geöffnet.
Das Bad im Zimmer ist äußerst schlicht eingerichtet.
Der Check Out ist nicht vor 8:00 möglich obwohl Frühstück serviert wird, hierüber wurde man beim Check in jedoch nicht informiert.

Economy-Zimmer entsprach nicht den Fotos!
Anreise nach 22 Uhr war nach tel. Ankündigung problemlos. Der Schlüssel wurde hinterlegt. Das Zimmer war jedoch eine herbe Enttäuschung. Wir hatten ein Economy-Zimmer gebucht, weil auf der Buchungsseite ein modern ausgestatteter Raum für diese Kategorie zu sehen war. Was wir allerdings vorfanden, war ein winziges, veraltet möbliertes Zimmer, sicherlich keine 17qm groß. Der Weg ums Bett war so eng, dass wir ständig unsere Schienbeine anstießen zumal der Bettkasten extrem niedrig war. An ein Aufklappen der Koffer war nicht zu denken, alles zu eng. Der kleine Kleiderschrank erinnerte an einen Beichtstuhl. Nur 1 Nachttischleute funktionierte. Das Bad war ebenfalls winzig. Aus dem Duschkopf kam nur ein schwacher Strahl, so dass das Abduschen des Schaums ein halbe Ewigkeit dauerte. Der Kosmetikspiegel (immerhin!) war nicht zu fixieren, klappte ständig nach unten und war somit nicht benutzbar. Wegen der späten Anreise war niemand mehr da, bei dem wir nach einem anderen Zimmer hätten fragen können. Unsere Reklamation am nächsten Morgen wurde vom Concierge damit abgetan, dass der Fehler beim Buchungsportal-Betreiber läge, da die falschen Zimmerfotos (Junior-Suite) für die Economy-Kategorie hinterlegt worden wären. Das ist nicht glaubwürdig, weil das Hotel auf der eigenen Webseite ebenfalls moderne Zimmer unter der Kategorie Economy zeigt. Fotos von unserem Zimmer sind überhaupt nicht zu finden. Letzter Hinweis: Die Sitzbezüge der Bänke im Frühstücksraum sind stark verschmutzt.

Die beiden jungen Damen an der Rezeption waren freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft war ohne Mängel. Das Frühstück entsprach unseren Vorstellungen. Abstellplätze für Pkw's, Motorräder und Fahrräder vorhanden (Hotel befindet sich in der Stadtmitte).

Sehr nettes Hotel, direkt auf der Fussgängerzone und trotzdem einfach mit dem Fahrzeug zu erreichen. Parkplatz 100m entfernt. Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück hervoragend. Das Zimmer einfach aber gut ! Hatte leider keine Zeit für den SPA Bereich, sieht aber neu aus! Eigen gebrautes sehr leckeres Bier. WLAN war nicht so toll.

Die durchgängige Freundlichkeit des Personals ist uns äußerst positiv aufgefallen. Es gibt renovierte und nicht-renovierte Zimmer. In der unteren Preiskategorie muss man mit einem kleineren und schlicht ausgestattetem Zimmer rechnen, was für uns kein Problem war. Das Bad war in unserem Fall jedoch bereits renoviert. Super Lage, tolles Frühstück und schöner Saunabereich. Wenn sich die Gelegenheit ergibt, kommen wir definitiv wieder!
