Paying the visit to family in the Stockbridge area and getting here 1 day earlier than expected, I decided to book a hotel stay for 1 night. I used Expedia and I was trying to find something that was budget friendly, which Stockbridge Inn was. The rating was ok and the price was great for my budget. I was allowed to check-in early as I had driven 12 hours to get here. Thank you for that. I immediately was given the room key and immediately went into the room to get a couple of hours of sleep. At that point, I didn't really look over the room. Just unloaded my car and immediately flopped on the bed. After further inspection I was immediately disappointed with the dirt, moldy shower and shower curtain, holes in the comforter, and dusty shower fan. I know that damage can be caused by the customers, so that doesn't really bother me. What does bother me is the lack of cleanliness, including mold. It was pretty obvious, so I refused to shower here.

This aside, it is VERY difficult to sleep at night with the lounge across the parking lot. The thumping of the music left for an unpleasant sleep even if the early morning hours. This is of no control of the hotel, however just warning potential visitors. If noise isn't an issue for you, then you shouldn't really have any issues; but don't heed the warning. Unless you're going to sleep with the TV on or headphones/ear pods, you likely won't get a good night's sleep especially if you're not used to noise.

I went to pay for another night. I was told I get my same rate. She took my card/phone to pay an didn’t come back for a min. When she came back she told me my rate would go up to 75$. I ask why when I was told different. She says she did t know. That seem funny to me. I thought they over charged me. Then some guy came to my door an cursed me out and told me I had to leave and they wouldn’t give my money back for the room I pay.

It's cheap but you get what you pay for, it was a bit dirty, no shampoo not even at the front desk, there's a nightclub of sorts across the street so they blasted music all night. Even when it stopped the room insulation is so poor you can hear most things right outside the door.

The room was disgusting when I checked in I had booked The honeymoon suite with the hot tub and it was atrocious the mirrors around the bed were broken. The room had not been cleaned. There were brown stains on the floor tile from dirty things dripping dirty shoe prints in front of the toilet no toilet paper the mirrors around the bed work broken, and the comforter was covered in cigarette burns not one but like five there were cigarette butts and ashes covering the headboard. I wish I had taken more pictures. All that being said when I went back to the front desk to say something, the lady running the front desk was the nicest person , she immediately got housekeeping to come clean the room. If I could just rate her, I would give her five stars for the hotel overall I will not be staying there again. I did not reach out to management for a refund Nor to hotels.com, my advice when booking a hotel is to skip this place, but I would like to say again that the lady running the front desk was amazing

Cons: Lobby was locked at noon, took payment at night window and asked me for my pin, is that a thing? Well, not for me. Told him to run as credit. Wouldn't do it. Unlocked lobby, pin pad was bolted to back counter. Guy stared at me entering it the whole time. Was asked what kind of room when I had all that in the rez. No smoking room came with ashtray. Room had no secondary lock. Room also had no shampoos, no Do Not Disturb cards, huge orange stain on wall in bathroom, vinyl fake wood floors so dirty I had to wear shoes the whole time and throw away a pair of socks. Freezer was dirty and had trash and bits of food in it. Sink wouldn't drain. Toilet drained slow (but thank goodness the lobby had ONE TOILET PLUNGER IN A BUCKET YOU COULD BORROW IF YOU HAD PROBLEMS).
This is the second worst hotel room I've had in my entire life. Pretty sure I'll do a VRBO next time.

While the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner has seen better days, very noisy, the shower curtain was ripped and moldy, in a six night stay the room was cleaned once and not that good. The bathroom bent pulled in the smell of pot being smoked in other rooms and I had to ask for clean towels that I had to go pick up.

Where do I start? Well… when I arrived to the room it was FILTHY!!! There were roaches EVERYWHERE- in the tub, one dead inside of the toilet, INSIDE OF THE MINI FRIDGE AND MICROWAVE, I mean they were literally crawling ALL OVER THE ROOM. I turned on the sink faucet and the water came out YELLOW; it took about 15 seconds for it to turn clear!!! I went to the front desk, told them about the issue, and clerk immediately moved me to another room (so I did appreciate that). The new room was insect-free BUT the bathtub could have been scrubbed a bit cleaner and the hardwood floor needs to be swept. I literally walked around with my shoes on my entire stay. I didn’t even feel comfortable walking around the room with my socks on. I’d suggest staying here only if you’re on a serious budget and NOT staying long. The only two great things about my stay is that the hotel is in a convenient area for food/shopping and the housekeeping lady was very prompt about keeping me stocked up on tissue and towels.

The room left much to be desired - inferior paper thin towels (2 bath, 1 hand, 1wash cloth), inferior children size pillows, bath tub slippery, ironing board just leaning against a wall in the middle of the room, no coffee maker, no coffee in lobby. Without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, having stayed in many hotels in the northeast as a contractor working in the construction of new Home Depots

at first was placed in a room with one king size not the one with 2 queens as requested and was charged a higher price when I went to get this corrected I was placed in the correct room but once again they tried to charge me a higher price and for 2 days not the 1 day, the clerk kept mixing up my reservation with another even after I showed him mine and he had a copy of it. The room was clean and you could tell that they had recently painted it and caulked the tub, however the commode was not completely bolted to the floor and would move when you sat down or got up. I would not stay here again
