I did not like how the room smelled when i first got here, and how only one lamp worked on the room. I could not extend a night at the room until next morning because fromt desk clerk did not have access to the computer, so therefore i had to pay 40 dollar early check in frm booking instead of just paying for extension
...havent had linen changed sense i been here

Get what you pay for.

The pictures are from when the place was built. The clerk is behind a locked door for their safety. They do not have joining rooms like hotels.com says they do. In the morning they do offer coffee.

Come visit Travelodge Forest Park Ga. The staff know their craft and are kind, & helpful. This space is Very affordable, clean, giving all basic amenities in room or at request and in a safe location for all ages. Daily housekeeping provided.There's even a reasonablely priced and efficient laundry room on this property. Travelodge Forest Park is Not loud or have people hanging around. Wonderful experience overall. It's near shopping and restaurants. Easy parking and convenient to I 75. Better than most places nearby. Keep up the amazing work Travelodge Forest Park ga. Thanks for your services.

Underrated hidden treasure

Unfortunately double non-smoking are only upstairs so getting to the room was a bit on an issue. But we get back tired and sore and our beds were made! Clean towels! Trash emptied! First time getting housekeeping since before covid! The towels and sheets were soft, bed was firm. As quiet as one would expect, no bugs, good water pressure. We'll definitely stay again.

Expedia advertised this property as pet friendly, serving free breakfast for guests, and suitable accommodations for travelers. After a long day of travel with two small dogs, we were informed that we were booked into a smoking room. They no longer accepted pets nor served breakfast. The pool was closed over six years ago.

Fortunately for us, the desk clerk took pity on us putting us in a nonsmoking room with a pet fee in order to accommodate our needs. She gave us a first floor room, close to the office and allowed us to park directly in front of the room.

We did not sleep. People were loud, slamming doors, using the ice machine and smoking directly in front of this room. I had to knock on the window at 3 am so the loud conversation would move elsewhere.

A very Comfortable Motel

We stayed at this Travelodge for 1 night and it was very comfortable. I really liked having the table with 2 chairs so we could eat. There was also a desk with a computer chair. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was very clean and the staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Beds hard as heck and staff that just don't care

The beds are so hard that I kept waking up because of back pain.
The staff are better left alone than interacted with because if you interact with them then they will be angry.
So as long you don't need to sleep and have no need for staff to help then you can stay here.

This place is in a bad part of town. Big sign as you check in saying if you get COVID they are not responsible. Not worth the price by a long shot. Carpet in front of sink was wet. Man who checked me in was abrupt and not friendly at all. If you a woman traveling alone I would not recommend this hotel. The bedspread had a huge burn hole in it. Very old looking with a terrible paint job. Toilet lid looked like some had burned it. Overall not a nice place. More like a rent by the hour place. If I hadn’t been exhausted from my drive and already paid on app I would have left. Not recommended

The man at the front desk was very nice and check in was fast. However the room was dirty, it reeked of cigarettes, and there were holes in my sheet. It was extremely noisy with traffic and other guests. I hardly slept at all.

Spent only one night due to cancelled flight, if I had choice I wouldn’t have!!! When we checked in, the guy was rude and yelled at my sister for ringing the bell that says “ring bell for assistance”. Place was dusty, and had bugs. This place was a nightmare!!

First time in Atlanta so I didn’t know this area and from what I’ve seen it’s not good. Room wasn’t clean and condition was bad. The worst was seeing cockroach in the ceiling and hair in the folded towel. I pay the same price as the hotel I stayed in Decatur and there’s no comparison.

Blood or worse on pillowcase!!!!

Mold in bathroom, but far worse was blood or worse stain on pillowcase. Sought at least partial refund. Person at desk who was, I think, owner or manager, said not possible since I paid through Expedia—tho was actually Travelocity. Did not charge us $10 fee for our dog however.

When I missed my connecting flight in Atlanta and the next flight to Peru wasn't until the following evening, I went in search of a local hotel to spend the night. In addition to the numerous weather delays at the Atlanta airport, there was also a convention in town. There were no hotels available at any of the major chains I am used to staying at, so I went to Orbitz who showed a number of hotels about a half hour out of the city with \"Only 1 room remaining.\" I chose this Travelodge thinking I was booking a non-smoking room. When I arrived via a half hour taxi ride, I was told the room was smoking. Since I didn't have a car and it was after 10 pm, I checked in. The room stunk. The bedspreads had stains on them. There was a hole burned through one of the bedspreads by a cigarette. The grout on the bathroom tiles was stained. The toilet paper holder was rusty. The towels were thin and stained. The frig and microwave were stained. I sat in a chair and the leg broke. The concrete walkways and stair were stained and filthy. In short, I would have been better off sleeping on a bench at the airport.

Hotel location is convenient. The breakfast is as expected, cereals, juice, milk and donuts. There are ants, spider, and other small bugs in the room.

Front desk clerk was very friendly, courteous and helpful in getting us ground floor rooms close together and even a handicapped room for my 86 y/o mother. The continental breakfast was a little austere but adequate. Good parking close to rooms.

I had missed my connecting flight in due to delays and was stuck the night in Atlanta.The woman who helped me check in was nice, but that doesn't make up for how disgusting the room was. I refused to walk barefoot on the carpet. As the title states, it was better than sleeping at the airport....but not by much.

For the sake of tourists everywhere, SHUT IT DOWN!

Rooms smell. Mold on shower curtains. Holes in walls and doors. Blood on lampshade. The cloth that you lay your head on do not deserve to be called pillows. Rooms outdated. Toilet seat broke when sat on. A/C takes forever to cool the room. Ants crawling on the wall. It's been days since this horrible experience and I'm STILL waiting for the wake-up call I scheduled. Condemn this slum!

Worst stay of my life.

Disgusting hotel rooms. In a scary area. Hotel lobby doors are locked. Staff talk to you through speaker from outside. You have to be buzzed in. Bars on Windows. Rooms not clean. Bed sheets smelled and were dirty. I was handed new sheets to make bed myself. Staff said sometimes they forget to change the sheets on the bed. Smelled of smoke in non smoking room. Worst hotel stay of my life!

DON'T STAY HERE!!!

I always book my hotel rooms through Hotels.com. My family and I stayed here on the spur of the moment. Most hotels that I stay at have a check out time of 12pm. At 11am on the dot, Travelodge cut the power to the AC unit. Then they proceeded to call me repeatedly, demanding that I leave the room. Since we were traveling by taxi, I could not accommodate the staff to be out within 15 minutes (three small kids with us). The next thing I knew, the police were at the door. Since I was not out of the room at 11am on the dot I was now guilty of criminal trespass. I was threatened to be arrested and my children carted off to DFACS. This was the most unbelievable, horrific experience I've EVER encountered. DON'T STAY HERE!!!
