Traveled with a 4 year old and the guy at the reception gave us a key to the room that didn't work, then left the front desk. When we returned for a new key, no one was there and we all had to rest on a sofa in the restaurant till past midnight, until someone came back to give us a new key. Received a measly 7 Euro compensation for that mess.
Clean, nice rooms and good breakfast buffet, but bad customer service.

Great hotel, poor Wi-fi

Overall a nice hotel.
Good breakfast, comfortable bed, nice shower and a good size room.
The only issue that lets it down is slow / poor Wi-fi. During a business trip trying to work from the hotel this can be frustrating.
Location is a little out of town too, if you have a car though, no issues.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. The restaurant inside was great not only for breakfast, but their dinner selection was wonderful. They also serve alcohol which is a plus!

Next time we'll stay longer

Our GPS took us an intimidating route up the hill to this hotel for a one night stay, but it was well worth the climb, both because of the view and because the hotel itself was lovely.
We got confused a bit, having parked (for free) behind the hotel where the route to and from the elevator took us through an area being remodeled. But we finally found our comfortable room in a quiet corner with an incredible view of the woods from our window. We were not there long enough to use the hiking paths and did not eat breakfast, but we did have a delicious supper at the restaurant. We would definitely stay there again -- and plan to stay long enough to explore bustling Hildesheim next time.

Great Hotel for First Time International Traveler

I was late arriving in Germany for a music festival (Mera Luna 2015) and the hotel was more than accommodating for my tardiness. The breakfast was excellent, the service was beyond exceptional, wifi/internet was included (thank goodness), and the room was cleaner than anything I've seen here in the US.

Surprisingly we had to pay for parking at the hotel, when it is impossible to arrive at hotel without a car.

Beliggenheden var fin og med imponerende udsigt. Værelset var til gengæld meget banalt, rent og fint, men uden charme. Sengen var lige præcis bred nok til at kunne kaldes en dobbeltseng, men ærligt talt for smal til to personer.

Kom till boendet och checkade in, vid incheckningen tog de extra betalt för parkeringen och varnade oss inte för middagen. Väl vid middagen fanns det bara ett alternativ, en fruktansvärd grillbuffé där de tog betalt PER tallrik. Orimligt med tanke på vad en buffé innebär, och dessutom orimligt dyrt. Eftersom man bor lite off fanns inte heller några andra alternativ. Rekommenderar inte detta boende

En övernattning på väg hem

Vi bokade 2 rum för oss & våra vuxna döttrar på väg hem till Sverige. Hade inga förväntningar men detta överraskade oss på ett positivt sätt. Ett riktigt klassiskt Hotel som man gärna ska komma till lite tidigare än vi, sent på kvällen och mörkt. Ligger inbäddat i skogen med stora ytor och bra parkering. Otippat erbjöds även 4 laddplatser så bilen var fulladdad nästa morgon. Personalen genomgående mycket trevliga och frukosten toppen inkl miljön. Våra döttrar fick initialt ett rum i nedervåningen så vi önskade få det ändrat vilket fixades till. Summeringen är absolut ett trevligt hotell som vi gärna återvänder till.

Bokade detta som övernattningshotell på resa från södra Tyskland till Sverige.
Det lät bra på hotellbeskrivningen, men levde definitivt inte upp till förväntningarna.
Det började med en väldigt trång parkering. Fortsatte med en entré från parkeringen som hade fått ett halvtaskigt svenskt sjukhus på sjuttiotalet att se fräscht ut.
Sedan blev det bättre. OK incheckningsupplevelse, sedan ner till rummet i källaren som var halvdant städat (men luktade rengöringsmedel). Rummet var nyrenoverat och såg fint ut (dörren in till det stora fina badrummet skrapade i parketten).
Bra frukost med stort utbud (även för veganer).
Detta var vår dyraste övernattning under vår resa, helt klart inte den bästa.
Intrycken har med största säkerhet påverkats av att det var onödigt varmt vid besöket (och att rummet saknade AC).

Havde en overnatning. Værelset og badeværelse var stort, rent og pænt. Men sengen godt nok noget af det mindste vi har oplevet og så hård at det gjorde ondt og ikke fik sovet ordentligt. Super ærgerligt, for det trækker desværre meget ned i vores bedømmelse.
Ellers fint hotel og de har en restaurant vi også benyttede os af, der kan man få ok mad og drikke. Der var mulighed for opladning af bil, mod betaling, fungerede også rigtig fint.

Very good stay, clean rooms, fast service (smooth late night check in), good location good breakfast and a lot of parking spaces.

The soaps in the bathrooms was very good, please come back with the brand, I need to buy those back home.

Ps, please remove or lower the speedbumbs at the entrance (scratched the under carriage of the car there) doing 1km/h..

Tolles Hotel. Sehr schön auf einem Berg gelegen etwas im Wald und mit Blick über Hildesheim. Sehr schön!
Service, Sauberkeit, Zimmer top. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht anwesend, kommen aber bei Gelegenheit sehr gerne wieder.

Very nice hotel in the countryside of Hildesheim. Very nice view from the terasse and nice surroundings

Our room fine, but the bed was very small, only suitable for one adult and a child.

Very nice room for storing our bicycles for the night and for free.

We only had an evening meal serves, which was fine and the waiters was very friendly, no breakfast, so can´t qoute..

Gut mit kleinen Abstrichen

Eine schöne Unterkunft, in der man sich wohl fühlt, angenehme Größe des Zimmers.

Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die Parkplatzgebühr, die man entrichten muss, auch wenn das Fahrzeug an der Ladesäule lädt und die unübliche Vorgehensweise, wenn man sein Hemd nochmal über bügeln muss. In all den Jahren meiner dienstlichen Reisezeit wurde mir immer ein Bügelbrett und ein Bügeleisen immer aufs Zimmer gebracht. Man musste nicht mit seiner Wäsche durch das Hotel laufen.
Leider war auch der Duschkopf defekt.
