I rarely write reviews, but my stay here was so disappointing I feel obligated to warn others. Based on glowing reviews and photos, I expected a premium experience—but the reality fell far short, especially for over $400 per night.

We booked the penthouse suite because it was advertised as having two king beds. In reality, both were queen-sized. Beyond that, the room had multiple unresolved issues:
•Safe didn’t work and was never fixed.
•Balcony door was nearly impossible to open despite repeated complaints.
•Patio light blew the fuse each time it was turned on.
•Second shower head was broken.

Each problem was met with empty promises and no follow-up. The front desk staff were disinterested and unhelpful—no effort to make guests feel welcome.

The property also felt neglected: pool loungers without cushions, and a subpar breakfast worse than hotels in Turkey that cost a quarter of the price.

I also found it suspicious that several glowing 5-star reviews appeared within hours of my posting a critical one.

At $100–125 per night, this stay might have been tolerable. At $400, it was unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding this property when visiting Kaş.

The hotel and its decoration feel dated — more like an old-style 3-star property, definitely not matching the price charged.

Breakfast was not great, and the staff showed no interest or assistance. They didn’t explain anything or tell us whether it was possible to order eggs. Overall, zero attention to guests’ needs.

The worst part was the service. We booked through Expedia Platinum, which included a free upgrade and a complimentary bottle of wine. When we arrived, neither was provided. The hotel claimed the upgrade room was unavailable, but it was clearly listed as available on all booking platforms, including their own website. Regarding the wine, we contacted Expedia, who assured us it would be resolved. After not receiving it, we followed up again, and Expedia got the hotel to send it—but there was still no apology or explanation. At check-out the next day, no one asked about our stay or offered any follow-up. Overall, truly zero customer care…

The only positive aspect of the hotel is the view, but many hotels in the area offer great views. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and won’t be returning.

A Lovely Return to the Lukka Exclusive Hotel !!

This was our second trip to Lukka in Kas after a period of 10 years. Our first trip was amazing, and our return did not disappoint.

The hotel was as beautiful as ever and the team were friendly, looking after our every need.
Rooms are spacious, well appointed, and characterful, with lots of lush foliage and natural features in how the hotel is integrated into the rocky landscape running down to the sunbathing area by the sea. Swimming in the sea or pool is available, the sea is lovely and clear and surprisingly warm for a dip too!

A buffet breakfast was included - fresh fruit, pastries and a few warm options. Omelettes etc cooked on requests and all lovely. We had one evening meal at the hotel restaurant and again the quality was great.

This adult focused hotel really has one of the most beautiful outlooks over a bay and nearby islands, it is truly spectacular at sunset - a very romantic location and atmosphere! One of our very favourite holiday destinations, and just as amazing 10 years later!

One point to note - Access is down quite a narrow one way road, and parking is tight so just something to be aware of if driving to get there!

An Unforgettable Stay at Lukka – Exceptional Service from Haran!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Lukka! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, relaxed, and completely taken care of. The resort itself is stunning—beautifully maintained grounds, gorgeous accommodations, and breathtaking views. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the service, especially from Haran.

Haran went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. He treated us with such warmth and attentiveness that we truly felt spoiled. Whether it was helping us plan memorable sightseeing adventures or simply checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, his care and dedication were exceptional.

Thanks to Haran’s local knowledge and thoughtful recommendations, we discovered some amazing places we wouldn’t have found on our own.

We can’t recommend Lukka highly enough. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway with great service, this is the place!

1. They couldn’t organize my massage. Guy said he would come back and let me know and never did.
2. Huge tub in my room was cool looking but the hot water stops half way before filled.
Overall, the hotel experience was great but wish I could say it was perfect.

If you want to take a step back from reality and switch off, Lukka is the place to come to.
The staff seem to genuinely care about their guests’ enjoyment whilst staying here and seamlessly work behind the scenes to create the serene, calm ambiance which we were hoping for in a holiday. Everything is efficient, clean and cared for. The location is spectacular and despite being full, there is still a feeling of space within the hotel - and lots of little beautifully planned places to feel you are on your own to admire the view and just sit back and BREATHE. We shall definitely be returning. We are glad we paid the extra compared to other hotels on the peninsula - and the ‘exclusive’ title is definitely worthy of this hotel.

When we got to the hotel, no idea what to expect. When you walk down the stairs and the view opens up, it's amazing. Because it's adults only - it was very quiet and it's not crowded, so a lot of the times we had pool to ourselves. It's sea water, so if you don't want to make the trip down to the sea- you don't have to. You should though- it's beautiful. Staff was very nice and helpful.They truly took care of us. There's an issue with phones, we had no phone in the room to call reception or room service. here's a tip- order from the bar at the pool, they will bring it to the room. I wish they had more options for food, but pizza was nice, Lukka burger too. I'm not a huge fan of breakfast, so went only once for coffee.
Kas is small charming town, I suggest to walk around there and try muscles that they sell on the street.
Overall, I loved the experience and would recommend and come back here myself. Thank you guys!

Stayed in Penthouse Suite with my son in July 2022.

The suite is fantastic, two bedrooms, very large living area, two bathrooms with excellent water pressure and Molton Brown toiletries. 4 or 5 balconies in that one suite, with great views of the sea. Balcony doors not lockable, but we had no issues. There is an old safe in one of the bedrooms, in a bad need of replacement as it would require 10-20 attempts before opening every time.
Breakfast is mediocre. There is no sandy beach, but you can enter the water via stairs. Swimming pool is very nice. Hotel itself is located away from the town, about 8-10 min drive. Parking is sparse, but hotel staff can help with valet parking if there are no parking spaces left at the hotel. The area around the hotel is underdeveloped – not much around.
Overall, unless you want to be closer to center of Kas with all the restaurants, shopping, etc. within walking distance, this is a very good choice. But if you are planning to walk to all that from this hotel, consider alternatives.

Relax with sea view

Lukka is a great hotel with a fantastic hotel staff, all friendly and positive, helped my stay to be pleasing. The hotel is not a big and crowded one, I enjoyed my time there relaxing and seeing a fantastic view. Its not far from Kas so I could go to town in 5 min by car. I totally recommend it to anyone who wants to have a quite relaxing stay, with good food and view.

A Turkish Luxury experience

Excellent pool terrace, enormous pool, fantastic views, catered for all modes of relaxation, poolside beds under shaded canopies, sun loungers, plenty of parasols and seating areas.
A well designed safe access to the sea from ladders direct into deep water crystal clear water. Plenty of sun loungers on this lower terrace, shower facilities and equipment for snorkelling, kayaking. a sea side bar with drinks and food.
Superb Turkish style breakfast, Comfortable rooms but short on storage space for long term stays.
Steps in this area are always challenging but safety rails were fitted to most areas.
Nothing is too much trouble for staff.
Enjoyable, relaxing and repeatable!

Lukka Hotel, a jewel on the Peninsula in Kas

We had an amazing stay at Lukka hotel. We were completely in awe on arrival. This place has tons of wow factor, and a fab team of staff who can’t do enough for you. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the bed was so comfy, and the room spacious so we weren’t falling over our luggage or each other.
Special mention to the lovely young lady on reception who sorted out our onward travel and numerous taxis to town! We had to leave at 4 am our last day and she insisted they make us food to go as we would miss breakfast, it was most welcome and so thoughtful.
The pool is amazing, big enough for a proper swim, and the Oceanside decks and pool bar add another dimension. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and our one evening meal we took there was also really good. The views from the restaurant are superb. Every staff member bent over backwards to ensure we had the best time. Even the instant coffee sachets in the room were a whole league above the usual Nescafé rubbish!
I don’t know what the ‘official’ rating is, but we had a five star experience and can’t wait to return.

Lovely Hotel with Excellent Staff

As a Hotel Management worker for 10+ years I can easily say that this property deserves best rating because of its employees. The rooms are good too, it is a boutique hotel and definitely serves your needs.
What makes a guest really happy and want to write 10 pages of comments about a hotel is the staff and the staff is great at Lukka Exclusive.

You always have question marks in your head when you are about to try out a hotel. Clear those questions out for this one. We went for our honeymoon and felt very welcomed the minute we pulled up with the rental car through check in and until check out, each one of the team members know how to approach a guest, how to handle requests, how to find solutions and/or offer an alternative...
The amenities like the pool and beach are beautiful, the breakfast has a great variety and the chocolate souffle on the dinner menu is out of this world. Add this in with really wonderful staff and it is a holiday to never forget and dream about when you are home.
For example, We had a problem with out rental car and they helped us with that without us asking for it. They went and had the tire changed for us! Helped us get dinner reservations, told us where the best parking in Kas could be found.
The manager is super chill and you can tell that the staff like him too (that’s important).
The staff is well educated, young and sincerely smiley.
We can not wait to go back there! Highly recommended

Wonderful people , attentive yet unobtrusive service , really nothing too much for the team. It's a nice ramble into town or a very cheap taxi ride. You will pass a couple of picturesque beaches on the walk into town - well worth the visit. However if you just feel like indulging yourself and relaxing , all you could possibly need is within the hotel grounds - wonderful stay

Fantastic stay in October this year. Very quiet, relaxing and amazing view from the lovely room. Lots of sun beds dotted around the different levels. Reiki massage was amazing. Staff were very friendly and always smiling. We had a hire car but otherwise it’s a bit far from the main town but the setting was idyllic. Very close to the sea. We will definitely go again if we get the chance.

This hotel is situated on the sea with a good access to us wim in the warm sea, get out and have a comfortable area to sunbathe and have a drink or something to eat- The staff are extremely agreeable, helpful and pleasant.
Rooms are well furnished, pleasant and have good aircon
I would recommend this hotel to any friend wanting to stay just out of the town which has grown a lot from our last visit.
As ever the Turks are a charming, honest and lovely people.

Gorgeous hotel with an amazing sea view

Stayed for 3 nights in late July/early August. Had a balcony room and it was amazing! The views from around the hotel and from your private balcony are just breath taking. Great service with cake and tea offered every afternoon. It's exactly as the pictures on their website. Expensive but so worth it. Only minor issue is that we did have to pay for taxi rides going in and out of town. Cost was $25 TL each way which was equivalent to about $9 AUD. Unfortunately you cannot walk the distance. There is a dolmus you can take for less than a dollar but it was just too hot so we opted for the taxi.

Lovely Lukka Hotel

Great hotel for couples. Beautiful vistas and you can either swim in the lovely pool or in the sea directly from the hotel. Staff are efficient and very friendly. You can get the Dolmus into Kas every 30 mins otherwise hotel is isolated on a peninsula.

Hotel operates on a no cash basis so you settle your account periodically or at the end - means you don't have to mess about with cash & change by the pool!

Only downsides were lack of storage space in rooms and music too loud at breakfast - otherwise a fine choice of hotel.

My wife and I vacationed here for 4 days and the stay was great - the location is fantastic - a nice private area to lounge over looking the Agean and a quick car trip in to town - definitely recommend renting a car. Rooms are nice, a bit small for American standards but you shouldn't spend much time in there anyways. Definitely opt for the Sea View room

We had a great stay at Lukka. Being on the peninsula is the best way to go in Kas because of the gorgeous views, privacy, and quiet. The rooms and amenities at the hotel were excellent. Very luxurious with excellent attention to detail. The staff was great and fun to chat with as well. Breakfast is excellent with lots of variety. We loved swimming off the dock and having a sunset glass of wine on our beach chairs each evening. Highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent service, beautiful hotel

We LOVED this hotel! The staff was so helpful and very friendly, began recognizing us by name the first day even though we were only staying two nights. The rooms and bathrooms are big and the whole place seemed to be in great condition. We commented multiple times how rare it is for a place to live up to their pictures, and this place does. The hotel went above and beyond in multiple ways to make our stay absolutely pleasant and relaxing. We enjoyed two excellent dinners in their restaurant as well as the amazing and expansive breakfast buffet...complete with opportunity for personal egg orders. The views are incredible (we stayed in sea view room) and the pool and water areas are all well kept and attended regularly for drink orders, etc. We did agree with other reviewers about having a car being helpful. It would have been quite a trek and bit inconvenient to town as it is on a peninsula that's really only populated with hotels. However, the area was easy to drive in and we would definitely stay again so long as the prices stayed affordable. We thought it was very good value for the price; even though we had \"splurged\" and this was the most expensive place we stayed as we travelled throughout Turkey, it was definitely worth every cent!

We loved this hotel, but probably wouldn't have if we didn't have a car as it is well out of town. Pool and sea access were brilliant. Restaurant food was of a good quality. Room was spacious and the balcony overlooking the pool and sea was a great place to enjoy sunsets. We will go back.

Fantastic hotel!

The Lukka is on the peninsula of Kas which is a little way off the beaten path, but this should be seen as a good thing! There is a bus (dolmas) which goes into Kas every 30 mins (15 min journey) and is very easy and cheap.

Stunningly beautiful views, very friendly staff who cannot do enough to help, immaculatly clean, peaceful, tranquil.... All the right things for a couple looking to relax in the sun.

If I could, I probably would have given the hotel 4.8/5 overall as if you are a UK foodie like us, it is not outstanding and there is better to be found in Kas. This is the ONLY thing that lets this hotel down (and only a little) do not let this detract you though as this place is exceptional.

Incredible view of Mediterranean sea

Fantastic location on Mediterranean costline of Turkiye. Excellent facility with truly romantic atmosphere. Very well mannered, friendly and respectful personnel . Definitely a hidden gem.

Hotel location is very nice at the tip of a small gulf and is indeed exclusive. Swimming pool is very nice and water temperature is controlled. Breakfast is lavish. Staff is very nice. No complaints.

Bellissima struttura. La penthouse suite era molto grande, con due camere, due bagni e un soggiorno con vasca da bagno. Bella la vista. Un po’ barocco l’arredamento, ma la comodità prima di tutto. Discesa a mare diretta. Sono scogli ma ci sono comode piattaforme da cui accedere al mare. Molto bella la piscina. Unico neo la solerzia del personale, non sempre al livello della struttura

Çok memnun kalarak ayrıldık. Tüm çalışanlar çok ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü. Odalar her gün temizlendi. Havuz ve deniz kenarı çok konforluydu. Kahvaltı güzeldi, yemekler lezzetliydi ancak mutfak çok yavaştı. Genel olarak sevdik..
