Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past

they provided me with a wrong code for the mail box so I couldnt get my key! They were close (Sunday 8.05pm). So I had to be accommodated somewhere else for my first night. The area doesn't feel safe at all.

We stayed for 5 nights. Inthe centee of town . The apartment was very nice and clean and comfortable. Tge staff were very nice and helpful. It was close to the supermarket.We had been 3 times before.

Decent no frills stay

The lack of air conditioning meant the rooms were very warm so the windows needed to be opened. there was a bit of street noise but nuit too bad. However some of the rooms faced the railway line which meant it was noisier for those in the group that stayed on that side of the building. However, ver good location only a few hundred metres from the centre of Thonon and very reasonably priced parking (We used the underground car park at place des arts). We were late checking in but contacted the reception and they were very helpful and left the keys in a safe on the outside of the building.

What a terrible place. Environmental health should go in and close this down! The appartment was filthy (I have the photos if you would like them). It was next to a railway line that seemed to run all night and the \"view\" suggested in the pictures shown is a lie. There is no marina near to the hotel.

The check in process was a nightmare as the \"local\" team were never there when I phined or emailed them to get details. Finally the details were shared with me at 17:41 on the evening of arrival. Add to this that we arrived before 19:30 (the published reception availability time) and no one was to be seen!

I would not wish this hotel on my worst enemy.

Never again.

Simple Comfort

A narrow, older style-tinny sort of room but reasonably comfortable. The train crossing just outside the window with a shrill bell sounding every time the gates went down was going to be a nuisance - or so I thought. The window, when shut, actually muffled most of the sound! Everything else was pretty standard and what to expect from a budget hotel. I was impressed that there was a kitchenette though!

The appartments are close to the centre but are right next to a rail crossing which is in frequent use both day and night so you not only get the rumbling of the train but also the ringing of the crossing bell. The studio was very small and there was barely enough room to move around. A few years ago we stayed in the Balladines which was much roomier so I'd make that my preference for any future stay in a studio. The apartment advertises one housekeeping per stay but this means cleaning the room after you leave not during your stay. The rooms are not exactly spotless and could do with a thorough spring clean. I was charged 7 euro per day for parking but when I looked at their internet site it quoted 5 euro. When I contacted them about this they just said it was a mistake and that the price was posted all over the premises. I checked this and could only find the price posted on the back of the room door at 5 euro. I sent them photos from the interior of the lift, the notice board in the common area near the reception and from the back of the door; it was then they offered a reimbursement of the 2 euro per day difference. I wouldn't stay in a studio in these premises again; not only because of the restricted space but also because of the doubtful cleanliness, the outside noise and the attitude with regard to the parking issue and the ambiguity with regard to the housekeeping.

The room was adequate and the service ok, please note the room was above a railway line which had trains running throughout the night which kept waking us up at regular intervals, overall the room was great for our needs as it was god value for money with easy access to le gets, morzine and Avoriaz which was only thirty / forty minutes drive away, the hotel was close to the centre of town so lots of restaurants and it backed on to the biggest supermarket I have ever seen so you could walk to it in 5 minutes and cook in the room if you wanted too.

Hotel stay for Evian Masters

Location is too close to the train tracks, some noise from trains passing through. The apartment had dishes and cooking pans but no utensils to cook, no coffee maker. The shower did not have a holder to place the shower head. Parking was cheap and good. Breakfast in the morning is served too late. Very hard to find out where to leave the keys early in the morning, there should be an easy way to check out.

Do not stay here if you plan to arrive at a weekend!

Not only is the reception not open on Saturdays/Sundays (when we arrived), but nobody will answer the mobile phone number on the door. We saw at least 3 other groups, in addition to us, standing outside the hotel completely baffled and unable to get in. We left a phone number but no one called us back.

Eventually, on Monday, we looked in to cancel the room (after fortunately finding somewhere else to stay in a hurry) and they were really quite rude, blaming us for them not answering the phone. Oh, and charged us a day's rate despite us being unable to get into their hotel for \"cancellation\". They explained not answering the phone as being \"because we were in Switzerland on Saturday\".

We looked at the room (before returning to our lovely warm alternative with friendly proprietor on-hand). Cold, stark, very clean, noisy, new, next to the railway line, about sums it up.

Convenable pour le prix. Les chambres ne sont pas climatisées, mais c'est indiqué sur le site. Donc en cas de forte chaleur, attention car le ventilateur peut ne pas suffire si vous êtes sensible à la chaleur. Personnel très sympathique cependant et le pdj est par contre très correct pour le prix. Ça va si vous passez 1-2 nuits à Thonon et que vous ne cherchez pas le grand confort. Les chambres sont cependant spacieuse et les équipements de la cuisine fonctionnaient bien'

I'm sure the Hotel once was in perfect condition but it is a bit run down now. Neither the cuttlery nor the dishes were clean, some of the cuttlery was even bent and not comfortable to use. The sponge and dish towel were missing although the staff immediately handed us those upon asking. The whole room smelled heavily of fish/old fat, not even opening the windows for a few minutes helped. The staff was really friendly but I do think the hotel needs a do-over and the rooms should definitely be properly cleaned before the next guests arrive.

Si vous appréciez la tranquillité, cette hôtel n’est pas pour vous. Les fenêtres donnent sur le trafic et la ligne de train. Le manque de ventilation dans la chambre ne permet pas de garder la fenêtre fermé pour éviter le bruit.

Pas de service, j’arrive à 13:30 , la réception personne, il me faut attendre jusqu’à 15 h, pareil pour partir, mon train partir à 13:30, je suis obligé partir à 11 h, parce que l’hôtel est fermer à 11 h, je suis obligé de partir avec mon bagage, très peu de temps en service ! Jamais vue un hôtel pareil !

Appart Près de la ville et 'une grande surface

Nous avons pris trois appartements 109-110-111 pour 4 personnes. Les studios 109 et 111 sont bien. La vaisselle est très moyenne surtout apporter vos couteaux car ils ne coupent pas du tout. En ce qui concerne le 110 appartement avec chambre a un plus petit frigo que les studios et on ne pouvait pas mettre de bouteille puisque la porte est endommagé. La vaisselle est également moyenne . NOus avons acheté des couteaux!!! Le prix du séjour pour notre petite chienne est très élevé puisque nous avons payé 160.00 Euros pour 20 nuits .. Aucun forfait pour un long séjour.. Nous attendons le remboursement de la dernière nuit pour les trois appartement suite au confinement et le remboursement des taxes de séjour, taxes pour le petit chien et le garage... En général le Personnel est très bien surtout l'équipe de nettoyage...Attention aux fumeurs svp ... Les odeurs restent longtemps
Le train passe à côté de l'hotel mais ça...
Si nous recevons les remboursements .. Nous garderons un bon souvenir de Thonon les Bains

La cata ,je deconseille fortement

Murs deguelasses, vaisselle dépareillée : une assiette de chaque collection, pas de seche cheveux , plaque electrique de 30 ans d age, pas de lave lave-vaisselle, le petit dejeuner : il y a du cacao mais pas de lait ???? Comment fait on pour les enfants ???? Garage : il faut d'abord sortir ses valises pour garer la voiture et ensuite, on a 20 cm de battement par cote pour sortir de la voiture ! Isolation mediocre : on entend les personnes des chambres voisines. 2 petits bureaux dans une chambre familiale donc on mange séparément 2 par 2 ! La vrai cata, tout ca pour 136 Euros, cela est tres cher pour cette prestation là ! Sans parler du carrefour tres fréquenté juste en bas avec en plus ligne de voie ferrée ...impossible de se garer sans garage : 7 euros quand meme ! Pas de parking bien sûr. Du jamais vu pour nous qui frequentons régulièrement les apart city . Une honte !

Très très mauvaise expérience arriver devant le bâtiment personne a l’accueil donc pas d’accès au parking on a essayer de trouver une place impossible à l’arrière du bâtiment plusieurs personne entrain de faire les poubelles du coup on appel le numéro afficher à l’entrée aucune solution trouver j’ai donc dépenser plus de 80€ sans jamais rentrer du coup obliger de trouver un hôtel et remboursement impossible alors qu’au téléphone on m’a bien dit que j’allais être rembourser

J’ai passé une seule nuit dans cet établissement.L’appartement prévu pour deux personnes est convenable.Hormis les joints du bac à douche qui doivent être refait ,je n’ai rien à redire.La literie m’a parfaitement convenu.
Petit déjeuner au top avec viennoiseries,brioches et pain frais.
Le personnel est fort sympathique.
Je reviendrai lors de prochains déplacements professionnels.

Tout était très bien sauf que notre voisin de chambre avait un gros chien qui n'arrêtait pas d'aboyer la nuit. C’est inadmissible d’accepter des gros chiens dans vos établissements.

La situación del alojamiento es bastante correcta, el problema principal es que está al lado de la vía del tren y en ocasiones molesta, no tiene aire acondicionado y te obliga a tener la ventana abierta y es cuando el tren molesta de verdad. Fallan un poco en la limpieza, y no estaría de más renovar un poco el mobiliario.

All in all an OK apartment, but nothing extra.

We asked for a room not facing a busy street but initially got that anyway. After we asked to change rooms, we got a new room which wasn't facing a busy street which was much nicer since the morning traffic can be quite heavy.
During our visit there was a heat wave and since there was no air condition our room was VERY (!!!) hot, even during the nights.
In our first room, the frying pan and kettle was only big enough to cook 1 portion a time which was very frustrating. Though, in the room we changed to both the frying pan and kettle was big enough for 2-3 portions each.
All in all an OK apartment, but nothing extra.

J'ai moyennement apprécié l'odeur d'égouts dans la salle de bain, ni le fait de devoir allumer la torche de mon téléphone pour fermer la porte d'entrée de ma chambre car la détection automatique dans le couloir ne fonctionnait pas à cet endroit là.
Le logement était cependant propre et le petit déjeuner plutôt varié. Pour une nuit le rapport qualité prix est correct.

Draps sales avec des poils et cheveux donc pas trop top, on a du en demandé des autres sinon le reste ça allait. La chambre et le lit ne correspondait pas à la photo vu sur le site. Des bouteilles d'eaux ont été offertes à notre arrivée, très gentille attention de la part de l'hôtel. J'avais réservé par téléphone des petits déjeuner pour le premier jour, accueil moyen. On avait l'impression de gêner suite à une mauvaise communication interne... Cela nous a un peu blasé et on nous a \"gentiment\" expliqué que pour les prochaines fois, il y avait un carrefour market pas loin... :/ avec pour sous-entendu que ce serait peut être mieux pour nous... Ce qui était assez maladroit. Beaucoup de nuisance sonores (à côté d'une gare ou ligne de train) + aucune insonorisation... On entendait les voisins discutés ou rentrés dans leur logement... Horaire flexible et top. On a pu arrivé en dehors des horaires d'arrivés et avoir les clés, départ tardif. Parking payant et vraiment pas pratique quand on a un break... dommage que cela ne soit pas inclus dans le tarif.

Appart'City pratique pour vacances sympa

Très bien situé par rapport à la gare et le centre ville. Un Carrefour Market derrière. Proche des bus urbains de la Place des Arts pour toutes directions et des marchés. Funiculaire pour allez au bord du Lac Léman.

avoir le choix entre la tele ou une baignoire c est assez original
et la proximité avec la voix ferrée est tout simplement géniale
