Absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Grand Coeur Latin. We arrived early and were meet with great smiles and warm welcome. We were allowed to store our bags while our room was prepared and the receptionist gave us some recommendations for lunch around the area.
When we did get into our room it was fantastic, and great size for Paris as I know space is tight in most hotels. With an added bonus of a pool to use too, which we made the most of. The staff couldn’t do enough to help us. A great location too, I am already looking at when to come and stay next.

Initially was given an accessibility room which I didn’t expect, that room was quite small.
The reception staff were really accommodating and quickly gave us an alternative room for the next stay of our visit which was the balcony view room which was super clean, temperature was better and offered a beautiful view of Paris.

Very clean and comfortable room in excellent condition. Lovely bathroom. Helpful and courteous staff, attractive common areas. Ideal location close to metro and Luxembourg garden. Only complaint is that the thermostat cannot be set lower than 22, which is too warm for sleeping. It can be lowered on request, but you have to know to ask, as there was no sign alerting us to that fact.

This hotel was just what we wanted. A boutique hotel in a quaint Paris neighborhood. We had an issue with the booking (our fault) but the staff went beyond expectations to help us get it figured out. Everyone that worked there was kind, courteous and helpful. We were near the Marais neighborhood and really enjoyed being able to walk around. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lovely hotel in a beautiful city.

On the negative side, the breakfasts were terrible. Scrambled eggs were runny; no berries, very limited selection of yoghurt; way to much bread; limited pastries. Biggest complaint was the shower/bath tub. Narrow room to stand (feet almost touched each other while sides of feet abutted the tub walls. No grab bars or anti-slip bath mats.

Limited services in terms of snacks. They have a bar, but it closed at 11PM.

Hotel staff were really friendly! Breakfast was great — not a large selection, but everything was delicate and well-prepared. We stayed in a superior twin room. We thought it would be larger than the standard twin, but the extra space turned out to be just a long hallway between the beds and the bathroom. The bedding area itself looked no different from the standard twin room. We had a great time staying there.

My go-to Paris choice

I was told that the hotel has very recently been fully renovated, and in every aspect it was in excellent condition, located in the Latin Quarter a 100 metres from the Sorbonne - one of the most vibrant and central locations in Paris, surrounded by countless cafes, bars, pubs and creperies. The staff service was exceptional. All were consistently warm and friendly, and incredibly helpful with every and all queries. I could not recommend this charming, boutique hotel more highly. It will certainly be my go-to in Paris

This is a well located and appointed property. I stayed here mainly so I could get to Notre-Dame early before the crowds and I did — it is about 15 mins walk. Staff helped me get a taxi and looked after my baggage for the day. Only surprise was there is no onsite restaurant and the breakfast was not great for the price — I recommend eating nearby. Lovely street view from my window.

A Latin Quarter gem!

Conviently located boutique hotel with lovely staff and great ameneties. Has a restaurant, bar, and spa swimming pool. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. If you are an Emily in Paris fan, there are at least 5 filming locaations within walking distance including the Pathenon, Luxemberg Gardens, Notre Dame, Cafe Terra. Nera/Chef Gustav, and more. This hotel is kinda pricey.

Stayed here for 4 nights in the junior suite as a family of 4. Arrived late an le check in was very easy. Room was lovely and had a terrace which was a nice surprise. Hotel was spotless and pool was very nice and kid friendly. Only minor issue was that the coffee in the room was instant coffee and no milk supplied, that being said it’s not worth marking the hotel down in any way.

We adored our stay at the Grand Coeur Latin. I’m the kind of person that obsesses over choosing the best possible hotel for my family’s needs and I absolutely scored with this one. Comfort, cleanliness, the ROBES, friendly and helpful staff, location, walkability…this hotel has it all. The shining star is their pool. It’s huge, clean, spa-like. I will never stay anywhere else in Paris.

One thing to note is size of room. Other reviews mention they are tight and it’s true. My teen daughter and I stayed in the Superior Double Room (194 sq ft) which didn’t have a lot of space to spread out but it was fine for us for two nights. There is limited storage if you want to unpack so we left our suitcases out. If we were there for longer, I’d have tried to figure out a way to unpack and settle in. I’d also look into a Jr Suite if we were staying longer.

I can’t say enough about how amazing this hotel is. The staff are insanely friendly. The rooms are immaculately cleaned, and the air conditioning works perfectly. You can also open up the windows to the courtyard where you will be met with quiet and an occasional pigeon cooing! It was so quiet, the beds were comfortable, the shower was warm with great water pressure, the pillows were great. Honestly, everything about this hotel was amazing. I was kind of hesitant initially because it was a little cheaper price than other hotels in the area. But it was well worth this day. Totally recommend.

Hotel has great decor, the pool and steam room was my favorite area, those amenities alone sold me. Rooms were small but modern, The last 3 nights the bathroom door stayed open because we could not close it, it’s a pocket door with an groove that only someone without fingernails could work, but then again, my mother doesn’t have nails and couldn’t close it either.
There is no kitchen but breakfast is served for an extra fee, they partner with a nearby establishment. Mostly pastries, but I did not
have it during my stay. The bar is very nice, photo worthy but closes way too early, never had a drink bc of that. Hotel is extremely quiet, so if peace is what you’re looking for, this is it. Oh and there’s a spa I guess, or a massage room, I spoke to the aesthetician who was knowledgeable, sorry I didn’t have time to get a facial.

Nice location although a lot of homeless and drug users around the vicinity (for those not accustomed to seeing it on the daily, I recommend a different arrondisement or area of the Latin Quarter; a few blocks make a big difference). Bathroom was open concept shower so the entire bathroom floor soaked after each shower. Plumbing smells emanated from the shower pipe, perhaps due to heat wave. Rooms are small as promised by any hotel in quartier Latin.

Hotel clearly well maintained and modernized. Exceptionally clean. The spa was a nice touch (after hot day pool dip was great). Staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive.

I would return to this hotel 1000%. It was really lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and modern, and the air conditioning worked VERY well. The shower, bathroom, and size of my room were all excellent. Elevators were great, fast, and quiet. The pool was outstanding. The bar was quiet and a nice respite at the end of the day. The lobby was comfortable. I can't say enough good things! I will be back!

This was a really lovely small hotel and fabulously located. Being just off St. Michele, it was near a lot of trains, both the RER and the Metro. The staff made the place so welcoming. Everyone was ready to help and answer questions, or service your needs. Their pool was like a mini Ritz\" Hotel vibe and I loved it. Being an avid swimmer, it was important to have a pool and this one didn't disappoint me. The room was quiet even though we faced the front, becaueof the heavy drapes and the fact that it was on a smaller side street, it was quiet but sunny. I think the only thing I could object togas that the refrigerator wasn't cold. I'm sure had I asked for assistance they would've found the problem.

We had a really grand time at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and warm. The room was ready and clean when we got there. It feels luxurious compared to the other hotels we’ve had in Europe. The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is just a few steps away from the Pantheon and Luxembourg garden. We also walked to the Notre Dame and Louvre. I wish I had better things to say about our recent stay at Grand Coeur Latin.. I would warn Canadians that they somehow add extra money to your invoice when converting from euro to Canadian dollars I was over charged versus the quoted amount from Expedia. After going back and forth with the hotel in length about this, nothing was done. I also want to mention during our 5 night stay the bed sheets weren’t changed once which is odd for the price we paid per night. The rooms are super small, which I suppose is to be expected but even the iron and ironing board was miniature and don’t expect to be able to unpack your clothes to keep them organized, no space.
We found the location to be the best part of this hotel, but there are hundreds of other options with the same location so I would do your research! Wouldn’t stay again and a warning to Canadians - they will overcharge you on the conversion.
