Beautiful large room overlooking lake Geneva. Right across the road from the metro, 2 stops into Lausanne gare. The window blinds blacked the room out at night which is perfect for me. Room was always cleaned, water restocked.
The drinks were extremely pricey, 2 250ml bottles of Coke, circa £14!
Customer service was spot on, shower was excellent and so too the spa/pool/sauna/steam room. Would highly recommend a visit!

Hotel Royal Savoy is a beautiful hotel. Totally refurbished with a new 100 room wing with spa added and reopened in 2016 after a multi year refurbishment. I have stayed here several times in the last 39 years, since living here for 7 weeks when studying at the near by IMD in 1986. It’s a suburb location. Midway between the Lac Leman and the rail station. If arriving by train take the metro just 2 stops towards the lake and you will emerge less than 100 metres from the hotel. The refurbishment was of the highest possible standard. And the buffet breakfasts on outside deck are exquisite. Thanks again.

Concierge staff are excellent. Unfortunately the service fell flat for the rest of the trip. Our room was not ready on time and we had to wait in the bar for it to be ready, this was not ideal with a toddler who needed a nap. Food was average for the cost. Pool was lovely. Room very nice and spacious. We stayed for our honeymoon and unfortunately there was no acknowledgement of this which was a shame.

The service was disappointing for a 5 star hotel. We had many problems with housekeeping that forced us to leave the room for hours at a time on several days. When the problems were brought to the front desk, they brushed it off and our issues continued.
Communication was poor. We were told the water, coffee, tea, and “food” were complimentary and then charged 24 CHF for a Toblerone.
On the positive side, the Sky Lounge had a spectacular view and good drinks. The location is central to the lakes and shopping, with metro access included in the room. Nice property, just wish the service was better.

A great first night stay for my family. So glad we chose to come to Lausanne instead of a stay in Geneva where we flew in. Beautiful hotel, everyone was VERY friendly. I wish I knew how to speak French but they made me feel very comfortable with the transition to English. The hotel TV adjusted to English when we turned it on. Just a nice touch to make us feel more welcome and that someone thought to do that. Made us feel special. I would stay here again and I’m going to learn more words to say in French next time! Merci!

My family and I spent two nights at this hotel and we cannot fault the service in any way. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay. The best hotel I have stayed in to date. Amazing service upon check in. They arranged a beautiful birthday cake for my husband in our room. Gorgeous room and view, with beautiful amenities. The spool and spa was luxurious. The concierge were so helpful, they helped us find where we wanted to go. Breakfast was outstanding with a good selection. The croissants were incredible. Personal approach without being intrusive. wonderful breakfast outdoors with very attentive staff - coffee and tea order remembered every day - Spa was fabulous and a gym open 24hrs. absolutely must do is have cocktails in the sky lounge - has a New York vibe about it. Hotel provides all day public transport pass. make use of it and visit the old city and wander through the cobbled streets. great location - 5 minute walk to Ouchy - lake side and a variety of restaurants within walking distance. Dont miss a trip to the Olympic museum or a swim in the lake at Vidy.
