It was a disaster! We got to our initial assigned room, just to find out that the A/C wouldn’t turn on at all. Then we got a new room…where the fan turned on, but later found out that the A/C never got cold. We were there for 5 nights and had to sleep with the windows open…and got bitten by mosquitoes. The bathroom light didn’t work. The TV didn’t work.
And here’s the kicker: We asked that no one enter the room while we were staying there. We even confirmed this with the person who checked us in 3 times. We always left the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside of the door. Then, after coming back at the end of one day, we were shocked to see that the maid had entered the room, moved ALL our valuable things just to make the bed, and hung the dirty towels that were on the floor back up on the hooks. We were furious…but the same guy who had originally checked us in was so rude and couldn’t care less. He then proceeded to tell me that had they have a policy where the room has to be cleaned at least every 3 days….something that he NEVER told me, even after confirming with him originally on 3 occasions. If I had known that, we would have left right away. I demanded all our money back, but apparently there are no managers working on the weekends….hmmm…maybe this is the problem…shouldn’t the managers be there to oversee their incompetent staff on the 2 busiest days of the week???

It’s best that no one EVER stay here!

In kind of an industrial area at the edge of town more of a freeway stop than a destination. The staff was delightful, parking was convenient and free, the room was clean. This is not a non smoking hotel. The room smelled strongly of smoke and when we opened the window to get air it seemed that maybe workers from the place next door smoked all night there? We were four floors from the ground and the clouds of cigarette and marijuana smoke that filled our room were awful. The air conditioner didn’t turn on (maybe too early) so it was sit in a hot stuffy smoky room or let in the smoke with the fresh air all night. In the morning the shower was nice and the staff at the restaurant were kind.

Good value

Well priced for the area this hotel offers a fairly basic room which is all I need for a business trip. WiFi works well and the room was comfortable and reasonably quiet. The underground on site parking meant my car was nice and cool first thing in the morning.
Restaurant was closed during my stay and no mention of this on the website. However a small selection of bar food was available. There is a budget supermarket within walking distance.
Will stay here again if I am working in the area again. Recommended.

Clean rooms but not too spacey, also if you are looking for something close to the city this may not be your best option. There is bus service nearby taking you too the train station/metro, takes about 18mins to get there. Parking on site is 10CHF/day plus breakfast is 17CHF/person which is quite basic to be honest for this pricetag. Overall is it a nice little hotel with lovely and helpful staff.

Staying at Lausanne

Very convenient hotel with very high service for money spent. Very well located a bit at Lausanne's suburbs but offers parking places. Rooms offer enough space and a double bed + 1 single bed, hence for 3 people at very competitive price. Very good breakfeast. We had to leave one day earlier and the hotel did some discount although my booking did not allow cancellation. Overall very good impression. Second time we go there and will keep it as a good hotel.

Stayed for a single night while attending the local blues festival (Blues Rules). The hotel was clean & conveniently located 10 min walk from the festival site.
The hotel staff were friendly, although the hotel itself was little tired decoratively (scaffolding outside so it may be mid-renovation).
In the room, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was sufficient, shower was tired, the wifi worked.
The only issue was that you can see daylight between the window frame & wall so I would not want to stay there in winter.

The hotel is clean and neat but rooms are very Spartan with few amenities. Breakfast is expensive and the menu is very limited. Rooms have neither coffee nor a microwave for preparing simple coffee or tea in the morning. OK for a one night stay, but wouldn't recommend for an extended stay.

good option if you are travelling by car

It is a correct hotel for the category. We stayed just overnight, so we did not have any special requirement. It is situated close to the highway exit (either to Geneva or Bern), but out of normal lines of public transportation, so better have a car.

Excellent Weekend Break.

We didn't need to be in Lausanne centre (but even if we did, we were eligible for free bus transport into the city), so we wanted a reasonably priced hotel which had parking for cars and was near to the motorways. The Ibis met the need perfectly.
As snow was imminent, we used the covered car park beneath the hotel, which had lift access to the hotel too, so one never needed to get wet!
We didn't eat much at the hotel, but the soup we had was plentiful and good and the staff very helpful.
The room we had was small, and fine for our two night stay, but storage for clothes could be a problem for a longer stay (no drawer space). The bathroom facilities were good with an excellent shower.
I often travel alone on business, and if ever I were coming to Lausanne I would happily stay at this Ibis hotel - loads of TV channels available too!

This hotel is typical of the Ibis hotel chain: clean, small rooms that are comfortable and modern at a fair price. Breakfast was extra but parking was free. This hotel is on the outskirts of town, so a car is almost a necessity, although it looked like bus transportation was available. In an industrial park, so no grocery stores or cafes nearby. Restaurant on site, but cannot comment on quality since we did not eat there.

The Ibis Crissier is a typical Ibis hotel with a consistent quality. It is basic, well presented but comfortable and reasonably priced in comparison to other accommodations in Switzerland. They provided clean linen, towels and the showers are hot. It met our needs for 2 nights. It is in a quiet light industrial area away from the crowded busy cities. The GPS took us right in front of the hotel. Car park is free and secure. Staff are helpful. Wifi is free and breakfast is available for an extra charge. The purpose of our trip is to drive the Swiss Alps so location is ideal for us by avoiding driving through the cities. We drove through Geneva and Lausanne which was accessable from Crissier without difficulty. Switzerland is a place I would like to visit again and I would definitely stay in this hotel.

Ho soggiornato 5 giorni presso la struttura. Avrei apprezzato una maggiore cura ed attenzione da parte del personale. Con pochi franchi in più si può trovare facilmente un albergo con standard più alti. Infissi non eccellenti e, di conseguenza, camera rumorosa. Mancanza di una presa elettrica in bagno (e se c'è, è nascosta veramente bene).
