It was a bit of hassle to navigate between buildings in winter. We couldn't use hot tubs because it was messy outside. Parking to the main building wasn't easy to find. But soacarea us nice and stuff there was very helpful.

Nice hotel in a beautiful setting but service left much to be desired. Room was not made up despite having sign on door and when asked for service, was told I could just take what I need and carry it myself.

My biggest concern though is the lack of security and unauthorized use of the credit card on file. My traveling partner arrived after me and asked the front desk for a key, not having seen my message advising I had her key. The front desk gave her a key to my room AND charged me 30$ for it, all completely without my knowledge or authorization. Good thing she was my friend and not someone wishing me harm! I reached out to the front desk for resolution but after 30 minutes of denying this had even happened, I was asked to come back for a supervisor but there never seemed to be one around. Really soured the experience in what could have been a perfectly enjoyable weekend.

I was sorry I did not stay there the whole 3 days that I was in La Malbaie. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. Thank you for a great stay,

The kitchen in the suite had everything we required!

We easily walked to the Casino for a meal and some fun!

We paid around $400 for a hotel room that accommodated two people, but unfortunately, breakfast was not included. The room was cleaned, and although there was an exit close to our room, unfortunately, it was closed, making it harder for us to get our stuff to the car in the parking lot. All in all, it was a nice stay, though! 😊

The worse experience I’ve had in a long time. The check in process was a disaster to say the least. The beds are super uncomfortable and what to say about the pillows. They were a pillow of shredded foam that you just can’t find any comfort to fall asleep.
At the rate they charge I would think could afford to make a few upgrades.

The place feels old and needs a refresh, the restaurant is more like a cafeteria and doesn’t match the price asked for our room on a long weekend. The person at the front desk also turned disrespectful to my wife when we requested our room to be made. On the positive side, the SPA is nice, the location is great and overall although the hotel experience was not part of the highlight of our vacation, it was also not so bad that it tarnished it. That said we will try something else next time.

It is a terrible experience with this hotel in room 354. There is very strong chemical odor smell. Talked to the staff in reception but not help. They just tell me they are fully booked and not able to switch rooms. They even didn’t send someone to check. Stay away from it!!!!

We were in pavillon b which has 2 nice outdoor hot tubs. Twechose a riverview and the view was spectacular. There is also a small stove top, fridge, microwave andcoffee maker which is 0a great set up for breakfast. We were grateful for the shuttleas it was a steep walk (stairs) to the manoir, to golf,to the port area and to the main hotel . all in all a very nice place. We will be back.

First off, upon returning home, we realized the hotel charged us for our entire stay twice so now waiting to get over $600 back that should never have been charged. Second, the hotel is tired. Vraiment bien situé avec une très belle vue. Le secteur des restos et bistros est très proche. Il y a beaucoup d’endroits pour marcher autour. For those travelling with electric vehicle, there are 2 charging stations only, 1 for Tesla and one for others. Current location of the charging stations is in a very tight parking spot. The hotel would benefit installing additional charging stations in a more convenient location in the large parking lot at the back of the hotel.

I stay there at least once a year and it is always super clean and the desk staff is very friendly.
The Spa O'Quartz and Zen Evasion Spa are my favourite part of staying there.

Massage therapists are always very professional and attentive to your specific needs. Since the renos the Spa really has a nice feel with the multiple pools, sauna and relax area.

The hotel is a short walk from the Casino for those who gamble and is also close to nice hiking trails that lead to the St. Lawrence River.

This year I noticed that maintenance staff was often in the hallways with tools and machinerie. Might be the change of season so i'm not sure I want to hold it against them.

The restaurant has a varied menu to please everyone and the Table d'Hote has some nicer options like duck and seafood for a very affordable price.

Overall a very nice place to stay in La Malbaie.

À mon arrivée il mon charger un supplément pour personne additionnel malgré que je l’avais mentionné lors de ma réservation. Coin spa très mal propre du à un bris que l’ont nous a pas dit lors de l’arrivée et que dire du jeune homme qui nous accueille au spa. Aucun sourire pas de bonjour très bête et pas de manière. La question qui tue vais-je y retourner…. Honnêtement je ne suis pas certaine

Hotel is not easily accessed by road. Two GPS systems took us to ferries to cross. Tried to call hotel for directions and desk clerk did not speak English and we do not speak French. We had to stop a young man who spoke English to give us directions by road. Ended up driving almost 300 km out of our way and arriving after 10:00 p.m. No dinning options available after 10:00. Only good thing about stay was our waitress at breakfast spoke English and was very helpful and friendly. When you run a hotel for tourists, I think it would be beneficial and helpful to have front desk people speak English. I would NOT recommend this hotel unless you speak French.
