We just stayed here for a week,lovely spot! Food was great. Service was good. Here are the only downfalls (but none ruined our time), these are just heads up for others:
It is definitely out of the way, you need a car. We paid between 15-20 euro each way for a cab to the train station or town.
The rooms are warm, no a/c and if we left patio door open, we got mosquitoes (and a couple wasps). BUT the rooms are lovely!
Breakfast was good, you had to pre book it. A little on the pricey side especially if you weren’t overly hungry, you still paid the 15 euro. One morning my husband had only coffee and one egg, but everything was fresh, amazing scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and breads. It was good for sure, if you were hungry.
We did miss the convenience of having a coffee maker and fridge in our room, especially staying for a week, just 2 coffee in the morning if we skipped breakfast was almost 7 euro.
We have no regrets booking this place just should have done a little more research.

It was a lovely place. We were stranded in Munich Airport from my snow storm. We were able to find this lovely place through hotels.com. They were warm and welcoming, to cold and tired sranded travelers. The food was outstanding there and they were super helpful with the German menu that we couldn't understand since we speak it only English. I would stay there again. Next time I'm in Munich I know I will really enjoy being at this hotel again.

We were stuck at Munich airport due to snow storm and after many searches found Hotel Strasshof had rooms. We got checked in very fast. Hotel did not raise rate to take advantage of stranded passengers like us. Thank you for calling taxi for me in the morning!

The best German hotel I have stayed at in 10 years of travelling to the country. Modern rooms, with a cabin feel. Great beds, with blackout blinds.. I slept 12 hours straight. Would recommend greatly. They also helped me to pay for a taxi, where they requested cash.

Our receptionist was very abrupt when I questioned an extra guest charges on their Suite-was up to 4 people-we were 3. She talked to another lady in German and they both ultimately pointed out on my copy I presented the \"price based on one person\" at bottom of the page I hadn't seen. I sincerely apologized since I didn't see that earlier but they walked away.

We stayed one night in July on our way to Italy. Very nice room (Junior suite). Conveniently close to the motorway, but very quiet. The breakfast was superb. We also had dinner in the biergarten - very nice, traditional Bavarian food.

The check-in process was quite easy. Staff was fairly friendly and the room was spacious and clean. The WiFi was sketchy at best. Would not recommend this hotel unless you are traveling for pleasure and WiFi is not important to you.

Check-in was 1400 but after a long drive through winter weather we arrived at 1130 AM for a two night stay. I asked if we could check-in early since we just completed such a long drive. The answer was an unqualified \"NO, check-in was 1400 we'd have to come back.\" This was told to us by the I suppose was the day manager. So we went out to have something to eat and returned at about 1300 and sat in the lobby finally the desk clerk, very nice said she had a room.
I noticed the hours for lunch the next day and it was posted to end at 1400 but when we came down to eat we were informed that there was a seminar and lunch was only being served to the seminar guests, so we had to go out to eat.
That evening we came back for dinner and were asked if we had reservations, we did not, but were guests in the hotel. My complaint is that, Yes, reservations are customary, but you would think that the hotel would have one or two tables back in the \"corner\" for their hotel guests -- this is a hotel and not strictly a restaurant.

Quiet and clean
Specified king bed and was provided with two twin mattresses and two duvets. No tea coffee making facility, no phone, weak WiFi signal, hotel rules and information is only in German language. Restaurant menu is also in German language only.

The room was great! But you need to have a car to get to the hotel. We stayed at the other building, not in the main building. It wasn't that bad although it was a longer walk than usual. When we checked out, the staff was rather rude though. Insisted rudely that I stayed 2 nights when I only stayed for a night. eventually she decided to check the booking again and realised it was just 1 night. Then she changed her expression immediately and gave us a fake sweet smile. Other than that we didnt have much contact with the staff. But that 1 staff completely ruined my impression of it. Overall value for money.

We spent 1 night at the hotel as a stopover during a longer trip. The hotel is in excellent condition. The rooms were huge and well appointed (Except for the lack of a coffee station). The shower was fantastic! The restaurant was also great serving local Bavarian cuisine.

Hotellet er et typisk overnatningshotel for rejsende nord-syd gennem Tyskland. Derfor er effektivitet i højsædet - hurtig tjek ind og ud. Hurtig servering og god mad i restauranten. Samtidig har man en hyggelig Biergarten, hvor man både kan få noget at spise og drikke. Nok ligger hotellet tæt ved motorvejen, men man hører den ikke og omgivelserne er dejlige og landlige. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, die Betten super, in der Dusche wäre eine Ablage für Duschgel sehr hilfreich gewesen. Das Toilettenbecken war etwas sehr hoch angebracht, obwohl wir körperlich nicht gerade klein sind. Insgesamt aber ein Superhotel, tolles Personal und ein sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Wir würden hier immer wieder buchen.
