We keep coming back to this place for a reason..

This was our second time staying in hotel. We stayed once in 2018 and it was just as great as we remembered. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and available all hours of the night. Our room air-conditioning was sufficient. We were able to walk around the corner or down the street for breakfast, bars and lighter meals. The hotel is one block away from designer shops such as Versace, Gucci and Max Mara, but you would never know it from how consistently quiet our street was. The hotel is also close to multiple bus lines and the train for easy commuting.

A wonderful hotel in a vibrant part of town. We can't wait to return.

Wonderful retro hotel with a movie vibe from yesteryear . Nice effort was made to give the 1950s cinema image . Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking a block or two away worked well for us . Very clean with efficient housekeeping services . Breakfast was as we expected and had healthy options as well as local favourites( Natas ! ). Pretty view of monument.
Unusual water pump noise in our room often and regularly.
Nice view from our windows, quiet street below.

We arrived around 11 am, too early for us to check in. We had a friendly reception. We were able to leave our luggage with them for safekeeping while we went out to look for a dining place.

When we came back, we had to wait just a few more minutes but we were glad to come “home” to comfy beds and a cool bedroom. The bathroom was a bit small but water pressure is great.

There’s a nice buffet breakfast but I didn’t try it. I only have coffee to get me ready for the day.

I wish my trip to Lisbon had been longer. While I regret the length, I don't regret my choice of hotel. The Florida is a well appointed hotel in the heart of the city. Conveniently close to the metro, offering many outlets to your wanderlust. A city pied-a-terre with all the convenience including a lovely staff and rooms with old world charm underneath the cinema inspired touches. If youre looking everything, go elsewhere with your #fomo, this is a lovely establishment that covers all you need in an adventure-ready itinerary.

Location was close to the metro and all buses. Wonderful parks nearby. Lots of restaurants and walkable to the old town centre and convenient access to tourist attractions.
Terrific service from Hotel Florida staff especially during the electrical shutdown.
I would definitely stay there the next time I am in Lisbon.

Location is excellent. 2 mins walk to blue and yellow metro lines, loads of bus routes nearby also. Restaurants close by, and attractions only a few metro stops away. 25 mins to the airport on the metro. Hotel in a respectable area. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room spacious and had all amenities. Hairdryer was poor but front desk supplied a replacement. Breakfast options varied. The lifts gave some trouble when we were there, meaning we had to occasionally use the service elevator or the stairs which was a bit of a pain.

Great location, 30 minutes walk to the old town. Definitely not a 4-star hotel. At best 2-star. Check-in was fast and efficient. Excellent breakfast which was quite varied. However, there was no bar, restaurant in the hotel establishment. Our room had no facilities - no iron or coffee/tea-making facilities. The 'gym' is really a seriously mini-gym with two machines, bench press and weights. So definitely a no-frills type of place.
Staff were friendly.
Would I stay there again..... Not really.

I had a wonderful stay at the Florida Hotel. I booked a superior double room and was given an upgrade to a suite. I'm very happy with my stay here. Room was clean and refreshed daily. They gave a complimentary bottle of water at the beginning of my stay. It is very close to the Liberdade Ave where there a lot of fancy shops. Hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful. Will stay again!

The location of this hotel is really good and you have access to almost all transportation or you may walk downtown. The washrooms had molded caulking and ceilings were cracked. Also garbage truck and traffic in the morning can be noisy and you wont get a deep sleep.

This hotel is not for tourist stays. Nothing close by and no ADA access. Hotel staff were not friendly and had poor knowledge of hotel and surrounding area. During our 5 day stay never ever greeted or acknowledged when entering or leaving hotel. Even at check-in, quite uninterested and not welcoming. No one explained having to insert key card in slot near door inside to turn on room lights. On several occasions when asking about hotel amenities, like laundry, and area directions the staff was clueless. In fact, they seemed annoyed at being interrupted. Hotel lobby was cold and uncomfortable while we waited for friends and transportation. The rooms were OK, a bit out dated. Bed was hard, pillows super flat. Did not sleep well in 5 days. We had 3 rooms and all were equally uncomfortable. There was no room for luggage. Bathtubs in each room were quite high, even for my husband 5'8\". The rest of us, shorties had to be careful in/out of tub. Floors are slippery tile and Bathtub slippery and enclosure leaked water on the floors. One towel mat was always soaked. Definitely not impressed, quite disappointing. The area is business district, lots of homeless closeby. Not recommended! Not worth the price. Lots better hotels in the area at similar prices. Our previous hotel in Nazare was quite the opposite.

I wouldn’t rate this place as a 4 star. There is no coffee in room, no iron in room the half shower is ridiculous. The elevator going up and down made noise in my room all night. Only free water on first day, really it’s water. Not able to make change for customers on any shift except day shift?

Staff here couldn’t be more helpful and kind - they got as an in room tea&coffee tray straight away when we enquired as it says it’s included. The breakfast buffet had a good variety & regularly refreshed with attentive friendly staff.

Sadly the rooms were a bit of a let down, a lot of cracked tiles, peeling paint, stained carpet and lamps, mini fridge (not mini-bar as stated in description) was broken inside and had so much ice build up in it. I was quite disappointed for the price (£125ish a night), especially as in normally go a bit more budget & the room felt of the same level.

I was sitting in the conference room, one idiot came to me and said to walk away from the room, I was about to go out, he was very very very rude and angrily locked the door staring at me
That was totally unacceptable

Room service was very poor, I tried room service number more than 15 times, no response even a single time

Room was very small, not the same size as we see in the picture

Check in was at 2 - they gave me the room at 2:15PM

An average hotel stay. Spacious clean room and large bed (bigger than kingsize) however decor was tired looking. The wooden floor was broken and in some-places missing. The toilet and bidet were on the wrong side of each other, meaning that due to the angle of the bathroom one could not sit straight when using the toilet. Staff were friendly and helpfull, even if the concierge guy was overly eager to help us with our bags. Despite being advertised online on arrival i was advised that the bar was closed permanently. Very close to the metro and other public transport which was a bonus and far enough away from the mail tourist area to be quiet and peaceful at night. On the whole an average hotel, however from my experience in travelling and hotel using this is a three star hotel NOT a four star hotel.

While no frills, this was a lovely, clean, convenient and cozy nest for our few days in Lisbon. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the room so quiet--we slept super well--and this was one of the only hotels that offered a convenient family room, making travel with young kids affordable and doable.

I would not recommend this hotel. The area around is not great and isn’t really near anything. The water in the shower came out brown at first and there was rarely hot water. They also consistently locked the front doors of the hotel, even before 10:00pm, and locked out myself and other guests.

We stayed one night for traveling. The hotel buffet breakfast was had a nice variety. The hotel has a good location, and the free parking is a win. The rate for nightly stay was well worth the quality of the hotel. Our only concern was they have a limit on amount of people allowed in the rooms. I booked a double/double, believing our party of four would be allowed to stay in one room. We ended up paying more and down grading. The hotel would not refund the difference. Expedia should mention this on the listing restrictions.

Ive stayed in a lot better hotels with 3 stars compared to this 4 star, actually i would not give it 4 star at all. At check in the receptionist was somewhat grumpy, not a smile or warm welcome, the room didnt feel like 4 star, 2 bulbs not working and side bed lamps did not turn on, the toilet lavatory had hair in it so that was a no no right away, there were fingerprint marks on the mirror which tells me they dont do due diligence to inspect the rooms after cleaning. Good thing is that its well located. Im definitely not going back to this hotel.

The check in wasn't good. The staff who welcome us wasn't gentle. Besides that she ask us if we could sleep with one of our daughters in our bed because they didn't have other bed for her until the next day. We didn't accept it. People from the breakfast staff were very gentle. And the shower were very disappointing (low flow and hot/cold water instability).

The Hotel Florida is located in a great location, close to old town, and close to the airport. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the location is close to everything. Price per room is competitive and there are several restaurants close to the hotel but parking is an issue.
