Our room was very comfortable and spacious, with a separate leaving room.
Parking is very convenient, in an underground garage.
The only negative is that the hotel is a busy conference venue.
Breakfast can be very crowded, but the food and drinks offered are very good.
Depending where your room is located, you can suffer from a lot of noise and smoke coming from the crowd smoking right outside reception, after 11PM.

Amazing hotel - wonderful ambience and top notch design. Room was spacious for a single, comfortable bed and bathroom with updated shower.
Really friendly staff everywhere in the hotel - had a nice dinner and superb breakfast.

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier fehl am Platz

Das Hotel wird von Gästen der benachbarten Deutschen Vermögensberatung genutzt. Das ist ein Strukturvertreib und deren Mitarbeiter haben nicht das enstsprechende Nivau für so ein Hotel. Das müsste auf der Homepage des Hotels deutlich gemacht werden. Der Aufenthalt wurde durch diese Gäste deutlich getrübt. Der Wellnessbereich laut und voll. Die Bar laut und voll. Der Aufenthalt in diesem ansonsten schönen Hotel war schrecklich. Das Benehmnen der Mitarbeiter der Deutschen Vermögensberatung grenzwertig (Prolls). Nie wieder Vila Vita Marburg.

We had an excellent stay here as part of our honeymoon. Gorgeous, spacious rooms with lots of amenities. Close walking distance to the central train station as well as Marburg Old Town. We wish we had stayed here for longer! Would highly recommend.

Not worth the price.

The size of the room was really nice. But that is all I can say positive. The king bed was literally two twin bed put together. Very low quality bedding, the pillows smelled of body odor, and the shower had mold. The room was non-smoking, but you could smell that it had been smoked in.

We spent $150€ for a dinner for three from room service, and ended up not eating because of the amount of salt, and over cooked pasta. We ended up going into town to eat donor.

Top hotel men morgenmaden mangler det sidste

Dejligt ophold hvad man jo også forventer på et 5 stjernet hotel. Alt i top, dog manglede der lidt i at morgenmaden er 5 stjernet. FEKS Croissanterne smagte OK, men IKKE af en fransk croissant - hverken den med chokolade og slet ikke den almindelige. Så hvis man skal servere en croissant på et 5 stjernet hotel så skal den smage af den ægte vare. Det har jeg fået på flere andre 4-5 stjernede hoteller, men mange hoteller serverer også ligesom jer en forkert croissant.

Stay was great and generally staff were friendly, however staff are not really clued up with people with dietary requirements, such as vegan, which is not animal products, diary or eggs... this was difficult to explain, or for them to understand. Not wishing to be singular here, but this maybe serious if someone had an actually allergy, which makes them a vegan

Luxury hotel with everything being great. Decor, great rooms, super comfortable beds etc.
Only complaint is that bar has limited supply of German alcohols including wines. (Otherwise huge selection). Walkable to beautiful old Marburg.
Definitely would recommend.

Excellent 5 star Hotel well positioned in Marburg

My wife and I stayed here for a week in March 2015 whilst visiting our daughter who is at the University.

This is an excellent five star hotel, well positioned in Marburg around ten minutes walk from the main rail and bus station and a short bus trip into the old town. The rooms which are apartments was spacious, clean and well equipped. The room was quiet with an excellent comfortable bed. We were also very impressed with the Wellness Suite which includes saunas, pool and treatment rooms. The breakfasts there were excellent - good choices, fresh and helpful staff.

Overall a very positive experience and we would be happy to recommend this hotel to others

Comfortable, pleasant, convenient, great food

Walking distance to the main train station (although they are happy to give you a lift), and very close to the main city bus lines. Take a walk at the premises and you'll find out that it is picturesque, near the woods and a river despite being so central.
The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable.
The breakfast buffet is fitting a hotel of five stars and more. Every dinner came delicious and beautifully presented. Outdoor dinners from May on are especially pleasant.
Very friendly and respectful staff.
Overall, highly recommended.

A touch of luxury

Lovely robes and slippers and toiletries and a spacious, well furnished room. Whilst the Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch a kettle and teabags would have been good for non coffee drinkers. Fantastic meal in the main restaurant and excellent range of cocktails and whiskies in the bar. Sadly didn't get to try the Stube as it was closed \"for summer break\"! Breakfast was splendid in range and quality. Easy to access the parking and with direct access to the hotel. Staff attentive and courteous.

Great facility with wonderful staff

This is a luxury hotel, especially for a university town. We enjoyed our experience at the Rosenpark from beginning to end (except for the bed mattress, which I found to be overly soft, although my spouse liked it).
We had a great supper, even though the kitchen staff was pressed because of our delayed arrival. There are quality amenities.

Near the middle of most activities

The hotel was great, food and environment. Was within 15 min walking of most activities. There was construction in the neighborhood, so driving to the hotel got a bit complicated when trying to follow a GPS in the rental car. When the construction is gone, things should be better.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. While it is not in the older area of the town where tourists should visit, I could easily walk to the attractions, since the town is easy to navigate on foot. The hotel itself is comfortable, with spacious rooms and a spa-like atmosphere. The sink in my room was draining slowly at first and then became completely clogged; the service staff responded very quickly to my report and gave me a new room. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and contained a cornucopia of delicious items, both hot and cold. The same category of hotel would have been much more expensive at a larger city.

One of the Best Hotels Ever Stayed In

Impressively elegant facility with endless choices. Each room has a pillow menu - you can choose the style that best fits your needs. A whisper-soft down comforter that floated weighlessly while keeping us toasty warm. One of the nicest full-service breakfasts ever, kept fresh by the observant staff - we declined the champagne starter (gratis).

The location is just a few blocks from the train station, but not well-marked if you are walking. It's hidden away a couple of blocks off the main street, to the right as you walk toward town from the station. We overshot the first time and had to retrace our steps. It's 10 minutes away from the elevator that takes you to the Upper City and the tourist area of Marburg, but if you want to be pampered and well-taken care of, you cannot do better in this university trown.

Great place to stay and enjoy yourself.

I could not have asked for more for my one night stay between business meeting locations. The altstadt was a nice walk away and the castle was a great hike in the afternoon. The hotel was busy with a large business seminar, so I didn't spend much time in hotel common areas. The decor was really nice, and breakfast was super and included in room cost. I like to get out into the city as much as possible, so i walked from trainstation about 2 blocks- to hotel. Took a shower and went for a walkabout up to castle. There were many students around, and a very nice atmosphere. It is now a destination- not a stop over for me.

Best hotel in Marburg

I have stayed in 2 other hotels in the area and this is by far the best. It has all the amenities that American business travelers are accustomed to in a hotel. One downside - Internet access is pricey (Welcome Hotel has it for free) but all in all, it's worth the extra cost to stay here. Service is excellent.

Das Zimmer selbst war sehr schön und auch das Frühstück war üppig und abwechslungsreich. Gestört hat die extreme Lautstärke in der Bar, so dass man sich, selbst wenn man direkt nebeneinander saß, überhaupt nicht unterhalten konnte. Am ärgerlich war jedoch die Tatsache, dass man bereits 2 Minuten nach 11:00 Uhr, als das Frühstück gerade erst zu Ende war und wir aufs Zimmer gehen wollten, um die Sachen zum auschecken zu holen, bereits ausgeloggt worden war. Das fanden wir alles andere als gästefreundlich und hat uns verärgert, weil wir den gesamten Weg (und der war äußerst lang) wieder zur Rezeption laufen mussten. Hier wäre wirklich eine gewisse Karenzzeit angebracht. Parken ist hier im übrigen sehr teuer. Um die Ecke gibt es einen großen Parkplatz, auf dem man weniger als ein Drittel für die Nacht zahlt.

Das Zimmer war etwas hellhörig. Nachts hat man die Gäste über unserem Zimmer gehört die ständig rumgelaufen sind. Morgens um 7 Uhr waren schon die ersten Kleinkinder im Pool, somit war an entspannen und Ruhe nicht zu denken. Nur Geschrei und rumgeplansche.
Daher zukünftig nur noch Only Adult- Hotels. Frühstück war sehr gut.
